The Olive Tree Cafe in Runnymede

I was driving thru and wanted to take the opportunity to revisit the OT cafe but it looks like it has changed to Tat Grill. Their eggs ben used tobe fab.

I always have had the Olive Tree Breakfast. Great value for money and the quality a little higher than the average cafe. Unfortunately the last 2 visits over 2 weeks have been poor. Both visits the black pudding was missing, and was not informed of this when ordering. This time round a cheap plain tiny sausage was on the plate instead of a larger herb flavoured one. I now know its time to go back to the Golden Cafe across the road.

Enjoyed a lovely breakfast. Portions were generous and prices reasonable. I enjoyed the eggs Benedict with Parma ham and my OH had the big English breakfast, we especially liked the bubble and squeak which we ordered extra. Lots of choice and the menu and quality ingredients.

I gave it a good as I wanted a real greasy cafe as this wasn’t very greasy at all to cure a hangover. Food was great however and would go back for a cheap lunchtime meal. Jacket potatoes looked massive and filling

Myself and my wife have been coming here for a couple of years now, most weeks we visit and I have to say the food is always excellent, the service is always excellent and the menu is very extensive. For me, and I like a bargain the food is restaurant quality but cafe prices. If I had to fault it I would say it gets really noisy when it is busy, don’t know why everything just sounds loud but we just go at unpopular times so no problem at all. I would be surprised if you didn’t enjoy the food we have never had a bad meal

You get a reasonable amount of food however it is better quality food then a normal cafe there fore you end up paying double the price. Burgers are lovely and so is the full English but would go somewhere else if you want a standard cheap greasy spoon

Fast food but better than the chains beside it. There are a lot of locals here so that's always a good sign. I would recommend this place when you want to eat something quick with your kids. Good value for money

Vandaag stopten we onderweg naar cornwall hier en vonden een fantastisch plekje met kleine prijsjes. Huisgemaakte Italiaanse specialiteiten. Mmmm... Dochtertje at de lasagne (hele lekkere tomatensaus) voor 6 pond. Man at de siciliaanse burger 6 pond (bellissimo). En ik at de aràgina dat is een balletje rijst, gevuld met kaas en ham (superlekker). De milkshakes waren heerlijk rijk van smaak, en smoothies waren 1 van de beste die ik ooit dronk. Uiteindelijk waren we met 3personen, 25 pond eten en drinken. Proficiat aan de keuken. Zeker de moeite waard.

Live in the local area and visit this cafe for a HUGE cooked breakfast. Really good food at decent prices

Went here for breakfast and there was an option to sit inside or outside which was good, There was also a varied choice in the menu and the food was good as was the service. An enjoyable experience.

I previously reviewed the Olive Tree in 2015 as the best Cafe in Addlestone, now under new Management it unfortunately is not the same, the atmosphere has gone and the costs have risen, my regular breakfast has gone up almost 50%, whilst the cost increased by 50p they no longer include coffee only tea, then charge full price for the coffee resulting in £5.00 becoming £7.40. Enzo you are missed. Fortunately Bread and Roses across the road has improved since it changed from Cafe Two and this is now my regular breakfast venue.

Friendly service - good Eggs Benedict and all the food I have tried is tasty - and generally healthy.

This place has opened up under new management and they're not doing a bad job of replicating what was there before. The old owners had the place running really well for a lunch time cafe (Omelettes recommended), the new ones appear to be trying to just replicate what it was before and it's working so far although not quite up to the old quality yet, i will be back to see if they crack it.

Food is always perfect staff are always nice and polite highly recommend coming here. Big portions!!

Sadly it’s not as good as under the old owners. Food not as nice, menu cards need changing. The pictures on the wall must have come randomly from a charity shop. It is missing that nice atmosphere that existed before the change over.

Have eaten here many times for lunch. the food is excellent, always tastes really fresh, its very good value and the staff are always friendly. Never had a bad visit.

Always good food and coffee,Italian specials like arenchenie, pizza, pastas and good English breakfasts, lots of vegetarian food staff are always friendly and incredibly hard working. I go most weeks and never disappointed.

We had stayed at the Premier Inn and been recommended this place for breakfast so gave it a try. The bi folding doors were open to try and keep it as cool as possible and we grabbed a table out of the sunshine.

Great no nonsense food, great service, lovely coffee and fresh orange juice. Go here with my girlfriend regularly to start the day or finish the afternoon.

Dropped in for lunch whilst travelling with my bike - could lock it up in sight outside. Good goats cheese and veg pasta and the latte. Very good value for London suburbs! And nice atmosphere.

Staying at the Premier Inn but as we had previously eaten a the Olive Tree it was a no brainer. Friendly staff and super breakfast all freshly prepared. Will be going there again soon!!!

We have visited this small local cafe a few times now for breakfast, and have never been disappointed. Their 'big breakfast' certainly is big, but there are many other items to choose from including an Italian one ('The Italian Job') and Eggs Beni. They even do an absolute belly-buster that's larger than the 'big breakfast' - not sure that even I, keen as I am, could manage one of those...

This is more a bistro than a cafe, much more upmarket but without the prices. A great variety of food, lots of fresh vegetables and superb home cooked food. I have been using this bistro/cafe for years and can’t find fault with it. Free newspapers, lovely waitresses, friendly management and nicely priced food. The food is always cooked fresh as well.

A good all rounder from breakfast items to a fuller menu with daily specials. Very good food. Very popular eating place.

Called here for coffee one Saturday morning. Convenient location and was able to park right outside. Very attentive staff and decent coffee!

Dropped in for a quick sandwich with my wife and ended up eating top notch italian food. Service was really good and the quality of the food was excellent. My wife had a seafood pasta dish that was freshly made and tasted great. I only had a ciabatta sandwich with chips but it was freshly made and tasted great. The portions were so large we took half home to have as an evening meal.

It's easy this is the best restaurant in Kissimmee without a doubt, the food and service are both great and all though not cheap as the saying goes you get what you pay for. Don't miss this one!

Bank holiday monday, resturant busy people eating. Arrived with my Uncle just before 2pm. Uncle is disabled, but he likes eating here, which we have done many times before.Waitress advises that they are about to close. I asked if she could check if we could get something to eat. Noticed kitchen still open, people behind there laughing etc. She spoke to man/owner in kitchen area who is standing inside door hidden away. She came back and said that he has said no. Thanks guy ... elderly regular customer just wanted a hot lunch. Before I left him on his own, and I went home to North London. He wanted to take me out to lunch and treat me. Sometimes little things mean a lot to vunrable elderly people, he was embarrassed. I hope you were to Mr Owner. Guess were we wont be eating? and recommending that others do the same.

Brilliant breakfasts served all day and homemade arancini. Cater well for veggies. What a great find. Excellent value for money, warm and welcoming staff, fresh cooked food and great service - what more could you want?

Addlestone, a small town has over 30 cafes abd coffe houses this is the best.Great food excellent coffee very friendly service and reasonable prices. What more does one want.

This has to be one of the best cafes I've eaten in. Not only do they serve great breakfasts, but also great pastas as well as many other dishes not usually associated with a cafe. Also, nice and clean and friendly atmosphere.

Very busy at lunchtimes, used to open in the evenings and was once a regular visitor. There are other better places in the town where the proprietors make one more welcome! Very generous portions of food, always well cooked and presented.

Hearty breakfasts of all varieties at great prices! The vegetarian variety was much appreciated and there is a nice relaxed atmosphere to read the paper whilst enjoying your food. Friendly staff.

We was in Weybridge to do a AMG owners driving course on the next day but came up the day before. So when we drove up from Kent arrived in Weybridge around 2pm and I had looked a places to eat in Weybridge the day before and came across The Olive Tree Cafe which seem to be an Italian owned cafe and served Italian food. As my wife is Italian this seem like a nice surprise for her as we love Italian food. The staff were very nice and attentive, I ordered a spaghetti bolognese and my wife ordered prawn risotto, when they were brought over to our table we were surprised at the size of the helpings which were very good. The food was very tasty and good value for money we also ordered a cappuccino and a latte the bill came £20.Well recommended the olive tree the food was that good we went back the next day I had a Chicken Caesar salad and the misses had the prawn risotto again cause it tasted so good with the same coffees which came to £17.If your in Weybridge you must drop in to this popular little cafe and have something to eat as the portions are very good and tasty.

2nd time I've eaten breakfast here. Delicious fresh ingredients cooked just right. Large breakfast was delicious with very freshly squeezed orange juice. Good value for money. Non corporate style greatly appreciated.Service was prompt as was my order. Would definitely visit again.

This is probably the best value for money brunch anyone can have. Quantities are huge and the quality great plus the cost is low. Excelente combination.The place was busy at 11:30, but we were lucky and didn't have to wait for a table for two. It sits + 35 people (more or less) inside and there are tables outside as well. I ordered the largest full breakfast available. The plate with bacon, eggs, sausage, toast, tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans and chips arrived very quickly. I had also ordered an arancini (with meat = ragú) to eat while I waited for the breakfast but it arrived at the same time. Never mind. My other half ordered bacon and eggs and it all arrived instantly.I washed everything down with a large cup of tea. It was wonderful. I highly reccomend it. I ate absolutely everything, we returned clean plates.Its a fst service with a smile. When we left the place was still packed. People arrive to eat on a regular basis. Brillliant for a Sunday brunch.Found a parking space easily half a minute from the café but Tesco is just a few minutes walk.

The one time we tried to use this Café the staff completely ignored my wife and I - in the end we left. There were only a few customers at the time but our presence was not even acknowledged.

my daughter and I had lunch here today as I had read good reviews. We both had homemade lasagne with chips. lovely big portions.I had tea and she had hot chocolate with loads of cream on top. Service was good and staff attentive. would definitely come here again.

I arrived very hungry for lunch about 2.45. with very few other customers present.On arrival I ordered a decaff and a baked potato with meat and salad... before going to the toilet as I was desperate! Then imagine my shock to discover that no toilet paper was present there!....Although the manager made an attempt to explain that they'd been too busy to check I really don't think that's acceptable.

Very friendly staff great looking menu and from the reviews people really like this place but it was unfortunately not to my liking. I ordered an arancini, a carbonate and a potion of calamari. The arancini was really good while the carbonate tasted purely of garlic! The calamari was really really rubbery and not if the best quality, more like frozen packet bought.

Great breakfast good service. Lovely clean little café and always busy which is a good sign. I've moved to Chertsey but still come in here when I am in Addlestone.

Came here for lunch today and was really impressed with everything about this cafe. The staff were really friendly and attentive and the food was delicious! I had a mozzarella and avocado panini and it was delicious. Great value for money too!Will be coming back again for sure.

My friend on Sunday knock on my door and give to me 2 small cannoli and 2 calzoni al forno . He says john try this and let me known how they are . After he left I eat all :) i taste the really rosticceria and pasticciere palermitana . I back to his house and I ask where he bough . I give me the name and address and Today I went in this bar . I bought 2 arancini ( 1 carne 1 ham mozzarella) 1 cannolo . Fresh made from the chef Mimmo , what I can say I start eating in the car . After 1 miles I finish all . Oh my god thank you so much Mimmo for bring in here the really taste of Palermo . Defo I'll be back .

Can't speak highly enough about The Olive Tree. Enzo and the staff are incredibly friendly and hard working. Food is fresh and superb value. So much better than other more expensive places in the area. I'd recommend the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs. Make sure you drop by if in the area.

We discovered this restaurant from some month ago and when we want to eat out at home , we always go to there. The food are fantastic and very good served for the friendly waitresses. The price is very economic and some times they have gifted for free the coffees. The italian sicilian food is the most delicious of the menu, in fact the principal for me is the lasagne. The best place to have a lunch in Addlestone.

This is a great cafe. You can't go wrong with a full English Breakfast here. Massive portions and great value for money. All the food is super fresh and the staff are always top notch. Coffee gets full marks too. Well worth a visit.

Went with my wife and son for breakfast. Had a full english and cost £6 each including a drink. Food was freshly cooked using good quality ingredients. Service was very good would definately visit again.

Just popped in for a quick bite to eat at lunch and had calamari and arancini, and it only cost a fiver! It wasn't the best of either than I've ever had, but it was still very tasty and I'd definitely go back. The staff were very pleasant and helpful too.

This is tucked away in the heart of addlestone highstreet, the cafe itself is rather small but its got great food selection and service to boot, certainly one of the more popular cafes along the highstreet, a nice little hidden gem for any locals or for anyone passing by.

Been there last March, and had to visit again. Good value for money, excellent cooked food, and friendly staff make this café a must to visit. If you're stuck on what to choose, you will be helped, and if there is anything you require but not on the menu, the staff will do their best to accommodate.

What a great little cafe. I live locally and often pop in here on a day off or when passing for coffee, breakfast or lunch. There is a great atmosphere here with regulars and passers by being equally attended to by Enzo and his staff. Nothing is too difficult for him and he will go out of his way to make you feel welcome, if something is not quite right he will be disappointed with himself and not blame you. Not that there is ever anything wrong. I love the coffee, I like mine strong and black and this is up there with the best. The menu is expansive and varies for all tastes and types, from a snack to a 'fill your boots' breakfast. In warmer weather the whole front opens for that continental alfresco feel making the most of the sunny aspect. If you need to stop in the area for food or drink this place will not disappoint.

We have had lunch here twice in the last few weeks and I have been very impressed both times. We just had a panini and a house salad on our first visit - both very good. Second time we both had the Olive Tree burger and chips special. Lovely tasting burger with loads of fresh salad inside and good portion of chunky chips, plus tea or coffee was included in the meal. I'm a bit of a coffee snob and I must say the coffee here is great.Its not a huge place and was very busy, but we got a table both times no problems. The staff are great; friendly, efficient, welcoming and service is pretty quick given it's popularity. Child friendly and clearly used by office workers in the town which I take as a good sign.Toilet was clean and fresh - as good as it could be given the size of the place and how busy it is. If in the area I would certainly use it again and again, highly recommended and cant wait to try some of their pasta dishes or the huge breakfast.Oh and the price is incredible! Total cost for 2 of us was under £17 for the 2 burger meals plus an extra drink each.

Popped in for a coffee with mum and was extremely impressed with the menu, so decided to come in again another day for food. Had breakfast which was fab. Huge portions all freshly cooked and piping hot. Staff very friendly. Great value for money. Will be going time and time again.

Great food at great value the breakfast is brilliant the waiting staff are helpful and the young guy is amazing nothing is to much trouble pasta dishes are very good and kiddies meals are very good plus they will do whatever you want.

I have been going here for some time now mainly for breakfast, the food is of a good standard and the service normally is ok but just lately I have found the service not to be quite as good as it was, I went there today and I sat there for a while and noticed people after me getting served before me which has happened a few times recently. Maybe it is me lol but I am a regular customer so I hope not.

Great for breakfast / brunch / lunch as either a couple or with the kids. Extensive and varied menu with all the usual favourites, all day breakfasts etc. Always quality food and very cheap. We go regularly!

I was introduced by a mate to this little gem. At the time I only had coffee, whilst he enjoyed breakfast, which certainly looked very good to me.I have returned several times for Eggs Benedict on smoked salmon and a couple of different pasta dishes for lunch - freshly cooked, good sized portions, bursting with flavour and excellent value. There is a varied selection of daily newspapers to read and the service is above reproach. I cannot recommend it enough and have just done that to two other mates of mine.I look forward to returning again and again.

Was taken here by friends for some needed fellowship. The experience was great with good food and coffee! The open plan cafe during summer is great too!

I try to visit this cafe at least once a week for a coffee (or two) and something to eat. There is so much variety and all for great prices! Staff are extremely friendly and attentive, they work so hard and I couldnt fault them at all!

We especially enjoy it for breakfast. There are plenty of options to choose from and whilst it can be busy we have never seen it too busy. Service by Enzo and his team is fast and friendly and the value for money is excellent

Visit this Cafe at least once a week. They do an amazing Chicken escalope in ciabatta which is unbelievable value.

I have had breakfast in here and also lunch. There is a consistent high quality of customer service and food. Everything tastes fresh and I would recommend taking home a freshly cooked arancini also.

My husband and I decided to treat ourselves. Have been here once before and this was as before - great. You walk in to a happy welcoming feeling. Sat down and were greeted with a no rush feel. Our food come out freshly cooked and piping hot as did our coffees. What a wonderful business - they deserve every bit of trade.

Went here for a meeting with a client (who happened to be the owner's father) and they 'treated' me with the most delicious bacon sandwich Ive ever had, there was so much bacon in it. The service was top notch and so friendly.This is a hidden gem of a cafe, the menu is extensive. Its such a shame its not local to me otherwise i'd be here every morning.

I have been here on a regular basis for lunch in the last few months. Good food, friendly atmosphere, great service, efficient and very reasonably priced. If whatever reason something isn't upto scratch, the staff listen and improve it for the next time round.A good local spot that comes highly recommended.
