Opposite Preston Station. My daughter said lets pop in while waiting for a train. Looking from the outside I thought do I really want to go in here. On entering it was Wow what a lovely cosy pub. The lady behind the bar was lovely, and friendly. We had a couple of nice pints before we had to catch our train. This was our first visit to Preston. We will come again and visit the Old Vic and maybe accidentally miss our train. Thank you.

Been coming here on and off for almost twenty years; now that I live in London it's my first stop when I come back to see friends and family and get the train into Preston. £3.40 for a good pint is brilliant!

This pub is next to preston railway station and has one of best choices of real ales on in Preston Pub can get busy weekends especially when PNE are at home This pub has tvs for sports events Clientele ranges from time of day from old locals to the younger sorts Bar staff is very polite and pub has old world feel to it when not noisy inside Saturday 24th June We again entered this brilliant preston real ale pub This pub never disappoints me with a great range of hand pumped real ales on as usual tonight This pub I must stress for a person who wants to drink real ales has to be classed as an essential visit Saturday 15th June 2024 This great preston real ale pub was again visited by us again This pub has now not changed at all from the last other visits I have reported on, and the reports are correct. There were 5 hand pumped ales on tonight, and of them, 4 were interesting well kept ales Keep up the good work

Argyle on tour ! Staying overnight in Preston after watching Argyle at Blackburn Rovers. Typical sport pub with screens everywhere showing England rugby and Arsenal v Brentford. A lot of real ale choices but none really to my taste. I had a local brew called Wainwright. After a tiring day it was good to chill out and chat to a couple of Preston fans....David and Steve....annoyingly I didn't take a piccy.....what was I thinking

I've ignored this place for some time in favour of a bar slightly closer to the train station. It's a really lovely place with more tv's, showing various sports than I have seen for a while. Compared to other nearby bars, it's cheaper and more inviting, friendly. Give it a go, and you will be pleasantly surprised, I was.

Making only my second visit to Preston town centre. Came for a footie game at Deepdale many years ago. Popped into this CAMRA 2024 entry pub close to the railway station. So close that they have a departure board for said station. Very good value food. Visited with Madge and Jorvic. Proper and large pub with covered outdoor area to the rear. Jorvic had a pint of Stanley's 3.8% pale from Kirkby Lonsdale brewery. One of five available on handpump. Very good. Lots of TV'S. A little bit shabby in places but Madge likes it. Might be back for breakfast tomorrow!

Always busy and bustling with customers. Plenty of staff who are both friendly and helpful, therefore queuing time is not lengthy. In a great location close to the city centre and the Costa itself is on a shopping complex along with Aldi, The Range and other huge stores, including Smyth's toy store. Car parking is free for 3 hours and run by Euro Car Parks. Plenty of spaces to park. I would recommend this Costa and I am now a regular, visiting at least once weekly.

Usually love coming here but was horrendous today. Table next to us was shouting loudly top of their voices. When asked if they could be quiet we were told no as they are staff at their other restaurant. Other people asked to move table. Sadly ruined my evening to the point o didn’t even eat my main. Asked if I could have it to take out shocking that they prioritise their staff over customers. Won’t be back for a while just think it’s ridiculous how loud people are without any consideration for others.
