Costa Coffee in Preston

Staff member who made my drinks was rude and rolled his eyes when asking to put some cold milk in the boiling hot babychino he gave to me for my 1 year old, its a good job i checked it or he would of burnt himself, staff use to br so lovely in here what happened!!

Yesterday 25/5/22 i visited Costa Coffee, 73 Friargate Walk in Preston. The girl who served me called KARIRA was very pleasant, helpful, bubbly and patient and kept smiling while taking my order. She repeated the order back to me to make sure it was right. She had exceptional customer service that i havent received as good as any where else. I was very happy. I thanked her very well throughtout and when leaving. The other girl working with her called OLA presented my hot choc with so much perfection. I took pictures and didnt want to mix it because it looked so good. I asked KARIRA to leave her feedback and asked for the email address and other information regarding feedback, she kept coming to my table to give updates but also didnt want to disturb me while eating. I thought that was very nice and respectful of her. This is the customer service i give and want back in return. I will only be going back there for my hot chocolate in the future just because of her. These two girls worked really well together and really hard as i watched them while having my hot chocolate and waiting for information. The shop was spotless with them keeping on top of the cleaning.

Recent visit to this Costa with my young granddaughter proved to be a very pleasant experience. The latte I ordered was delicious and delivered to my table by a friendly and polite young man. When shopping in Preston I will use this very conveniently located cafe more often.

I ordered the ruby hot chocolate. I would not recommend this drink - your are not missing anything. The drink is tasteless and needs to be improved vastly in flavor. The raspberry powder needs to be improved with more flavor or more than 1 tsp should be used within the drink. The service needs to be improved. I waited for over 10 mins to have my drink ready and be severed. The coffee shop was not busy and I had 2 people before me and none waiting. .

great Cortado served with a smile and efficiency, nice cozy room at the back as the front of shop tends to get very busy at peak times .

The Millionaire Shortbreads are heavenly, good range of choose in food and drinks. Mozzarella Panini is a 5 ⭐️! The only think I complain about is the toilets... the toilet plunger has dung on it and the toilets are filthy, I just think that it is wrong for people to use those toilets.

Ordered a peach ice tea to refresh in the heat, but the woman served it warm :') i think she thought ice tea should of been hot. Not great from costa really. Will only buy coffee from here again.

Always clean, counter always filled, staff always polite, coffee always hot, food warmed perfectly basically what it says on the tin , though with some other costas this is not the case.

The coffee was exceptional but sadly the service was not so good. No customer service skills no napkins no smiles no plates. Darwen Services is definately the best yet. They need to train these guys up in smiling

Costa is definitely my favourite place for coffee, but they also do really nice sandwiches and paninis. It's quite expensive for what it is, but very tasty and the staff are always friendly.

Good place to pick up a quick drink or to sit in. I prefer this place to Starbucks, drinks are nicer.

visited costa today with a friend and when i walked in and was not greeted whatsoever.. i accidentally left the door open and a member of staff that looked like she had been dragged through a bush backwards replied with 'shut the door please' at this point the whole of the public were looking in disgrace, i was unsure whether that was due to how rude she was or at the fact i accidentally left the door open! when your visiting a coffee shop you expect the staff to smile, be polite, use manners and at least look presentable!!! well its safe to say i don't think they have ever been told about 1st impressions counting. once i ordered my latte i was seved briefly without the use of manners or a smile. my coffee was then slammed on the counter with no thank you for visiting or nothing, she was just plain rude! id love to have demanded my money back on the spot as i found the service unacceptable especially when your paying for the service! The atmosphere across the counter could have been sliced with a knife and you'd think the girls had a huge lack of communication! safe to say i won't be visiting again and ill be going either starbucks or Rhode Island as i can guarantee good service there!!!

Quick pit stop with a friend whilst on errands/shopping in town. Had a Small latte, I felt it was quite strong but I like weak coffee. Pleasant environment.

Visited today Sunday was very surprised that it was so unclean Windows doors floor really looked that there were still showing the debris/marks from the previous day.Although not that busy service was slow. Probably the second most disappointing Costa (Costa southport is the worst) I've visited and I love their hot chocolate

Had a very interesting Latte at lunch time here. Nice clean Place, pleasant helpful staff.They cater for their customers need.

Had a very interesting Icey caramel drink here. Nice, pleasant staff. Very busy place and has a 7pm closing time.

My favourite coffee is Costa and this one in Preston is as good as the other costas I have been in service was good

Staff are friendly, place was welcoming and very clean, plenty of closeby parking. Coffee was freshly made and served with a smile

Service is great and speedy! I always buy myself a mocha/hot choc or iced frap and they are always well made!

Costa is a British company, and they pay full taxes to the UK (unlike some foreign competitors) and they serve the best tasting coffee in Britain, in my opinion. Friendly atmosphere and helpful staff.

The Costa outlet in St George's shopping centre is always busy and yet the staff are calm under pressure, with a smile and welcome for customers. The coffee is excellent and of a consistent high standard. Compares very favourably with other Costas nationwide.

Just visited Costa Coffee at Deepdale Retail Park Preston for a perfect cup of capaccino and toast, which were served to perfection by very pleasant staff.

As with all Costa Coffee places the products and prices are the same. This particular store (Fishergate) was busy and there was only one person mekong the drinks so we all had to wait a long time. I think that busy periods can be stressful...

The paninis, wraps and cakes are all to die for! Always spoilt for choice...want them all. Recommended for a good coffee but also a good lunch.

Big teapot, small twinings tea bag. And I mean 'small'. Result - a cup of flavoured water. Grim indeed. Come on, Costa. Make you tea as good as your coffee. You wouldn't serve that dismal brew to your worst enemy.

Situated on the ground floor in the middle of the centre, the other floors surround and look down on Costa Coffee. It is always busy, the coffee is always fresh and the menu is reasonable. It is value for money. Slight criticism, the used tables...
