The Noodle Shed in Bolton

I’ve driven past this place so many times and finally decided to call in. Why have I not been before?! The chilli beef broth was fantastic and the portion size was huge. A very satisfied customer.

Brilliant little place for Cantonese food, staff friendly, food excellent and a heated cabin for overspill when the main restaurant is full

Lovely place, shame the opening hours aren't longer for an evening dinner or at the weekend. Great homemade authentic tasty food.

We have been ordering from here for awhile now and I have never been disappointed I am fussy and always ask for noodles no bean sprouts and they always get it right The prawn toast is amazing and my favourite is the salt and pepper shredded beef If you not tried it here yet you are missing out The staff are really friendly and helpful too

I have gone to Bolton Gate Retail Park to buy stuff, and this restaurant can be found nearby. Staffs are very nice, food are lovely and the volume of a bowl of noodle is plenty for a male. Cannot say the food is in traditional HK style, however the food has been modified successfully to suit British.

The food is great delicious and fresh absolutely love the soups lil pricey but it’s definitely worth it when you have the money for it.

First time ordering today Had noodles n crispy beef was delicious you are doing a amazing job thank you also ordered for 12:20 and was here bang on time thanks very much I will be ordering again very soon

Best of the best Asian cuisine in Bolton

Very nice food - no msg (I can tell as i didn't feel thirsty as you would with msg meals!) the seasoning was just right. We went in November and had chicken chow mein and wonton noodles in soup - the wontons were home made! Yesterday we went again and tried Singaporean rice vermicelli which wasn't too spicy as per our request - Another nice dish! Portions were ok. Would love to try everything we saw on the counter and on other customers tables as they looked delicious. Dining experience was good too - good customer service and very nice staff who made you feel welcome and were nice to talk to especially if you can't decide on what to eat! There were also some nice artwork items on the walls and you can buy them. Definitely will come again when I go to Bolton. By the way check out their Facebook as they post about the chef special on the day!

Very underestimated food establishment!!!!! excellent dining experience.customer service from placing the order to delivery to the workplace is outstanding. Family run business who take pride in the food which is prepared for the public to enjoy!!! Noodle shed would give well known eateries from around greater Manchester with similar cooking styles a good run for their money in a cooking competition!!!!!!! Keep up the good work. A must try if you have chance.

We have this for treat Friday at work and have done for years, Salt and pepper chicken is amazing and so are the posh chips which are steak cut chips with sweet chilli sauce and cheese on top 😋 delicious, the Singapore noodles are tasty too if you don't like spice you can ask for them mild. You can eat in or dine out, my only criticism is they don't open at night 😪

Friendly and great service, largest veg spring rolls Ive had. Delicious and will be back for more! They can be flexible for vegan options which I appreciate

Small little restaurant, unpretentious with absolutely the best noodle soups, and fried rice dishes, and the won ton soups too amazing. The only downside is no car park which can be challenging, but not their fault, and ill continue to visit.

We as a company have food from here at least once a week, it never fails its the best food ever. The service is impeccable, and the food is first class. You must try it too believe how good it is.

Bit of a wait , but so well worth the wait ! Enormous portions , so fresh and tasty , and absolutely no grease on the food . The salt and pepper chips are the best I've ever tasted . Only one draw back...I was they opened later for evening meals . 100% will go again .

Very nice food and customer service

I have wanted to try this place for a very long time and I was not disappointed. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. We had our kids with us and they gave us the option to have their food brought out first so they didn’t get impatient. Portions are very generous and the dishes were a absolutely beautiful. I can highly recommend the Noodle shed.

Good quality food and great service. I'd initially missed a dish off our order for delivery. The manager kindly agreed to deliver the missed dish without charging further delivery.

The restaurant is cosy and the staff are friendly and the food is delish with vegetarian options too!

I've passed this little restaurant often, however tried it for the first time, very welcoming staff /owners, lovely interior and great food at a reasonable price. Nice and warm on a cold day. Will be frequenting again.

This place was recommended to me. What a delightful little gem. From the outside I would have easily walked by, but as other's photos show, it is very nicely done up inside. I had one of the rice noodle soups, marked as a single chilli hotness, and it was perfect. The dish was nicely presented as were those of other customers. Should I be around the area again in the future, I will definitely be making another visit.

My husband and I called for lunch as we had heard lots of great reviews. The staff are friendly and welcoming as soon as you arrive. They helped us choose our dishes according to our taste. The food was delicious!!! Go here!!! You won’t regret it!!!!

I'd say this is less a cafe more of a Chinese takeaway where you can sit inside and eat things. Tried several things on the menu in my 3 visits. The broth noodles are very good on par with anything you'd find in China town in Manchester city centre. The singapore dry noodles a little bit ordinary but still pretty good.

Having eaten in The Noodle Shed many times we have had a perfect experience every single time - which is an amazing feat to achieve. The meal deal is tremendous value with soup, a small starter and a main course. The noodle soups are just fantastic. The delivery service comes on time and piping hot. Sometimes it gets busy on deliveries, take aways and people dining in so there might be a bit of a wait - but it is well worth the wait. Cant praise it highly enough. And the best bit? Julie and Verna are lovely girls who run a great business. Give it a try...but please dont take my table!!

Well worth a visit Food is very tasty. Staff polite and friendly. Not masses of space to sit in and Friday lunch is busy. However overall experience was excellent. Basic decor but appeared very clean. Managed to park round back of premises as at the front is a no parking

I work close by to the noodle shed and am so happy I do. I can honestly say the food is absolutely outstanding, so fresh and so tasty. The staff are also so wonderful and friendly and the restaurant is spotlessly clean. Very lucky to have this on the doorstep.

I really love their food it is always hot well presented and tastes fantastic shame they are not open later would def order tea from here

Delicious, fresh food served by friendly staff. Due to its location, you'd be forgiven for thinking it'd be a bit naff; a little purple Chinese/Fusion restaurant nestled between a load of industrial units. You'd be wrong though, it's actually amazing and most definitely one of Bolton's hidden gems. I only wish they opened in the evening too. Go try it out!

Eaten here on many an occasion and top class every time. Daily specials or cooked to order food is great and inexpensive . Customer service superb and always a smile. One big problem- it closes at 3 pm and I would love to dine here at night. Problem solved take away more for my tea. Keep it up guys !

Visited this Chinese cafe and was not disappointed. Small seating area inside, with toilet, high chairs and view of the open kitchen. All very clean inside and a great selection and cheap prices. They have the option to eat in, take out or there's a delivery service. I went on a Friday lunch and there was a constant stream of customers collecting orders and eating in. I ordered the Tom Yum which was served with chicken and a good portion of king prawns for £6.50. It tasted very fresh and authentic. Will definitely pay this place another visit. It's located on a bend but I parked at the rear on a side street. Highly recommend!

We've ordered from the Noodle Shed about three times now, and every time they're just amazing. The noodles are fresh (they come in a cardboard style noodle box), no grease, fresh veg/ meat and portions are really generous. We've also tried the veg spring rolls and the chicken and curry which were equally fresh and tasty. We've ordered them to work a couple of times - they're quick, professional and always on time. 100% recommend!

Ive walked past this place everyday since moving to Bolton about 8 months ago - popped in grabbed a menu and went back ASAP after the superb greeting - the food was hot and tasty !!! just what i needed after a late night before -hoping this review helps anybody looking for a comfortable quick fantastic meal with the added bonus of a reasonable price :) Thanks Noodle Shed - will be back soon

Passed 'The Noodle Shed' lots of times but never managed to stop. Organised to order with work colleagues as a Friday lunch treat. I went with Singapore vermicelli. Looked good & tasted great. Good size portion. Everybody loved their meal, will definitely be recommending this place.

Been passing this place for a while meaning to try . Been a few times now and the food is restaurant standard. Had dish of the day and tried a noodle dish and some starters , all fantastic and great portions. Great customer service and freshly prepared food . Another little gem in Bolton’s crown .

Only ever had takeaway from here. They deliver for £1 and are usually on time. Food is typically cooked to the point where you can still recognise what it is, unlike some Chinese restaurants. I have tried various dishes and prefer their noodle soups to the other styles. Their nearest competitor is probably Bamboo, who are a little more pricey but have a wider selection of dishes.

Superb food, with a Thai slant, freshly made and served. Great to try if you are new to this type of food. It doesn't open at night which is a shame as it would do rather well.

I have just had the pleasure of a taster from The Noodle Shed. I can honestly say, it was the most delicious Chinese food I have had for a long time. I will definitely be ordering from here.
