This little place was such a treat to visit. So cosy and the staff really look after you. We only went once for breakfast which was lovely. Would definitely go back

Loved everything about this place ❤️ the food was great, service was quick and friendly and the interior decor is rustic & warm. Perfect for breakfast or lunch as it opens daily at 9.30am and closes at 3pm every day except Friday and Saturday when it's open until 10.30pm & 8pm on Sunday. NB. It's closed all day Tuesday. Just be aware that there are some steps up to the loo, second floor and back room. I definitely recommend you try this place.

We went today Friday 28th Frbruary, a party of 6 and 2 children we hadn't booked and they were extremely busy. We were greeted my a young man. Very nice and immediately moved a few things around and seated us in the back room lovely lighting and snug. What an amazing place, drinks were great and the food sooooo good. We have booked in for breakfast tomorrow and Sunday roast on Sunday. Best place we have been to in a very long time. Love love love it

Amazing place, great decor, great ambience, service amazing from Heather. All staff very friendly but for me the main attraction is the food so so so good! Highly recommend the Chicana Eggs Benedict. Get here soon as you can, review coming from someone usually too lazy to bother, that’s saying something.

Very overpriced at £3 for some extra toast. The chef manager needs to sort out the kitchen and prices as it’s a lot more expensive than other places to eat especially if you can get an all you can eat breakfast from Toby carvery for £7

Arrived today before 14:30, staff checked the kitchen were okay to make food as it closes at 14:30. When taking our order, the server was not patient as we ordered food and presumed all 3 of us were ordering the same. When bringing the food, the fries I’d ordered as a replacement were chunky chips and they didn’t seem bothered. The server also told us we had to be out at 15:00 on the dot as that’s when they closed, which is fair enough. However, they were still admitting new customers in at 14:55 and offering them coffee and cakes. We felt singled out as we seemed to be the only ones told we had to leave at closing time. Service on the whole was unfriendly. Food itself wasn’t amazing either.

Staff was friendly, the food was very tasty and good prices and the food and drinks came extremely extremely quick, must have been about 5 minutes from ordering to the food being on our table

Came with my friend last night, 13th December. I’d never been before but loved it. The food was excellent. My venison steak was beautifully cooked and my friend said her seafood risotto was gorgeous. I can’t wait to go again. Thanks to Joe and all the team for looking after us. You were great!

The waffles are the perfect combination of crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside—honestly, they're some of the best I’ve ever had. The way they soak up syrup and hold all those delicious toppings is just genius. You really nailed the flavor and texture! Can’t wait to enjoy them again soon. Keep up the great work!

Food absolutely excellent, good selection of breakfasts available and drinks however the service was a huge let down and spoilt our baker’s experience. Being handed the bill prior to asking and whilst we were still eating was so very rude, may as well have asked us to leave there and then! Won’t be back

Really lovely spot to grab a bite. Yummy food and coffee, and nice staff. They don't have loads of vegan options, but what they do have is delicious and you can tell they've put a lot of thought into it. I like to go with my friends and family who aren't vegan, as it means everyone has a good selection. 10/10 vegan breakfast!

Staff missed half of my order and had to wait about 30 mins. Other than that, the place was okay. Edit: Great you replied and did not even apologise. I didn't say I've ordered food, as you can see I haven't given you any stars for food and definitely won't in the future. I ordered two coffees with two lemonades and only half of the order came to our table. Then I went to order another coffee and waited there so I won't have to wait such a long time again but unfortunately I did. While human errors occur, best would be to apologise before making a judgemental comment, especially to your customers.

Went for a family lunch time meal. Food was really good, all of us enjoying our respective meals. Service was a little slow, but our waitress was very friendly and apologetic. Just rather noisy due to the kids holidays.

This is a stylish, friendly cafe/restaurant in a small town that is just North of Bolton and ideally located for adventures on the West Pennine Moors. There is a good range of dishes, the place has an alcohol licence and the staff are friendly. The coffee is tasty, having quite a high degree of roast. There is indoor and outdoor seating. The oitdoor seats (which we did not try) might be a little noisy owing to traffic. All in all however, strongly recommended.

This was my 2nd visit to BAKERS and because I enjoyed my food so much on the first visit I could not believe that it would be as good, I was wrong ,it was equally as delicious hence the 5 star rating. You should go and try it, you will not be disappointed.

A terrific surprise! Quirky design, fantastic staff & delicious food presented exquisitely. Only one caveat…the upper room was very hot. Perhaps we should have asked for a window to be opened!

Super all day breakfast and cheap. boyfriend and i got a breakfast each a milkshake for me and latte for him and absolutely no complaints. staff could have had a smile but it was probably a couple hours into their shift so understandable. Hopefully will visit again

The 'flat white' was not a flat white. It was a big watery cup of weak coffee. You guys need to learn how to make coffee properly. Cute cosy place though.

Booked a table with my daughter for brunch and we were shown to a table in the back room. I ordered the breakfast whilst my daughter had the eggs benedict. When the food arrived the waitress asked if we wanted any sauces and I asked for brown sauce. It came in a small pot which I like and I don't. It looks nice, and sophisticated however you have to spread it with a knife. Mixed emotions about that. The breakfast was fantastic. Without a doubt one of the best I have had in my 49 years. My daughter enjoyed her eggs benedict. We ordered a second round of drinks and the waitress did forget about them so we had to order them a second time. Not the biggest thing in the world I know. Parking is an issue as its on the main road with no carpark but a short walk never hurt anyone. Would I go back? Hell yes.

It was lovely set up and atmosphere, and the food was gorgeous. We visited for late lunch on a Thursday but surprised to see it was busy! The outdoor seating was enjoyable in the sun today, but I felt car parking spaces were limited (I suppose you can't help it) so some cars were parked on the road side. I would strongly recommend this place and it was a good choice of my friend who suggested going there!

We were staying at The Last Drop down the road, and after an overpriced (and not great) breakfast the day before we decided to come here before a big drive home to fuel up. We were greeted by a lady when walking in who got us seated. From conversations we heard they seemed quite busy and booked up, but was no bother us being walk in's and just moved some tables about to accommodate. We had 2 breakfasts and a kids breakfast. All really tasty, hot and filled us up for the drive home! The place felt friendly and welcoming, and staff were all really friendly even though we could see they were busy. We would definitely come here again if staying in the area.

Nice coffee all round, portions are big and will definitely fill you up, although save for the pancakes which compared to the other ordered dishes, the pancakes do look like a side dish rather than a main, and were more like scotch pancakes than American

Love this place and they do the best breakfasts, but be prepared to book as they are always heaving. From you standard breakfats items to those with a bit more. Breakfast Hash is a firm favorite for me.

Fuming. Horrific quality of service. Arrived for my annual birthday meal with my family. My little sister (Fifteen years of age, so not a baby) was shushed when she COUGHED. Not kidding. FYI, I had heard positive reviews of this place. Never going again.

We were told we could have the table for an hour but were rushed from the outset, asked to order drinks before even looking at the menu, food and drinks came within 10 mins and we were given the bill without asking for it and asked to go and pay three times in 5 minutes. We were in there less than half an hour despite being told we had an hour. When we payed, the manager was telling waitresses to go and take everyone's payments. It felt very rushed and very rude, they shouldn't have let us sit down if there was so little time. We were continuously rushed by various waitresses and felt uncomfortable. Really bad service.

The place was very busy today, good sign I'd say. Was disappointed at first as our table wasn't ready for the time booked, and felt awkward hanging around, especially with two children. However, they made up for it, with great food and an offer of drinks free on the first round. I'll be definitely going back, thank you

We came here after walking around jumbled reservoir. Found it by reading all the reviews on trip advisor. It did not disappoint! From the moment we walked in we were greeted by the friendly, lovely staff and it continued the whole time we were there from all the staff. Love the interior . Very Quirky . We sat in a booth on comfy seats. Great choice of food , drinks and cakes.. the cakes.. wow! Great atmosphere . All the staff were very knowledgeable about the good and so helpful and chatty. We did manage 3 courses and nearly had to be rolled out! The good was so tasty and well presented and nice and hot. Place very clean . Great price for all the good and drinks that we had. We will definitely go back .

Overpriced food couldn't sit where we preferred as we're told it was reserved. No-one came all the time we were there and to be more comfortable would have been preferable.

Wonderful. I am in love with this place. Went for my birthday breakfast the other day and ended up back the next day too. The food is always amazing here, thanks to head chef Aydan and his team. The staff are fantastic and it's always a warm welcome, even more so on my birthday. Made my day ❤️. Thank you to the staff that day, Jazz, Kate, Heather, Mia, Aydan and a couple of others who (sorry not sure of your names yet) it was amazing x

From a very warm welcome, we enjoyed two flat white coffees, a lemon cake and warm chocolate fudge cake served with ice cream. I loved the seating, decor, relaxed atmosphere, excellent customer service and quality of presentation in both desserts. Great value for money and I would definitely recommend.

First time visiting Bakers, and I rely was wowed when walking in!! 🤩. Have previously called in this place many years ago when it was a hand shop, least to stay, it's come a long way since then!!. The new owners have certainly put in a lot of work, creating a new modern and trendy place.!!! The layout and design rely dose compliment the building!!. We call in on the off chance whilst out on a walk around Egerton. The staff were more than happy to accommodate use, seating use in one the of the booth to the front building. The staff were brilliant!! Drink arrived fast, an as quick as we ordered our meals, food was arriving 😋... must admit we were spoilt for choice at first!! There is a great selection of dishes on offer.!!! We opted for the goats cheese 🧀 starter an also the halloumi, and both were seriously scrummy!!! Deffo one for those who like a cheese fix 🤤.. For main we had the Italian chicken gnocchi & also a burger an fries, both dishes were generous in portion an rely nice!! The burger was certainly a challenge, rap ya mouth round!! Massive 🍔😋.. Deffently be returning to try out some other dishes an would certainly recommend to family an friends. !!! 🤩🤩🤩

Just been to Bakers for brunch- reservation at 10.30. Extremely busy but welcomed straight away and seated at our table. Service was excellent despite it being so busy. Food was outstanding- Breakfast Hash was amazing, eggs Benedict and eggs florentine were also delicious. Thanks until next time- we will definitely be back soon
