Had the salmon,with 2 sides today,.really nice brocoli chili and soy fab and some noodles.got in real early so food super fresh.1 snag the wooden cutlery, neither any good.better than plastic 4 sure. But not good enough when you've forked (no pun intended) out 9.45.Cheers and thankyou

Normally go to the Grey street store and it’s amazing with amazing staff! Kindest of staff and go out their way to help! So thought I’d take a second trip to the heating store while in the area last week, as the first time there was horrendous to then be greeted with attitude again 🙄. Wouldn’t even rate this place a 1!! A so-called manager named Gemma (asked one of the other colleagues last time I was in) she’s scruffy looking, fingernails need a good scrape and clean, has the worst attitude ever! How on earth people like her can work in such an industry with a disgusting attitude I’ll never know! Needs sorted out because it’s just not on at all!! Serving pink undercooked chicken, which apparently I can’t complain about is ok! I mean when someone ends up in hospital they will know!

Addicted to the Naked Deli! Delicious healthy gluten-free food! Particularly love the "healthy" chocolate bars - would go as far to say prefer them over old school chocolate bars!

First time visiting, happened to be in the area and was tempted by the reviews. The staff member on today was really helpful, food was really nice and fabulous value for money. My breakfast did me for lunch too! Worth a visit for sure

Order from here quite a lot but today’s delivery was terrible. The broccoli was yellow and tasted sour. Won’t be ordering again. Unacceptable serving food that is clearly well beyond its best.

I will never go again. The food has got boring and never changes. I had a bad experience with a lady who said she was the manager. Very rude and did not care about customer feed back. i went back to explain the fish was dry. she had a bite of my fish and said there nothing wrong with it. I was shocked and walked out. i will never go again

The Protein Espresso Shake - A NEW FAVOURITE! It was love at first sight and I’ve not looked back. Think coffee but protein. All boxes ticked!

I got a chicken dish with sweet potato fries. The chicken was rubbery. It was like it had come out of a microwave. The sweet potato chips were burnt. Not a happy bunny. I took the meal back to the counter, having to wait in the queue again didn't put me in the best fettle. The server behind the counter looked as though she was sick of her life. I felt like offering her a way out of her miserable existence. But instead I counted to 10.

Look, anyone who can make kale taste DELICIOUS is an absolute legend! I would never have ordered it had I known but I'm so glad I did! Healthy and delicious! Is it witchcraft?! I have no idea but I'll definitely be coming back! If only I knew you can double your protein for £2.50, it's my only regret! 🤣

Nice lunch, but the service wasn’t exactly friendly; had a few eye rolls when I asked a question and the staff just seemed like they couldn’t be bothered. I also asked for no hot sauce and wasn’t offered any alternative so my wrap was really dry. It tasted good anyway, but based on how unwelcome I felt I probably wouldn’t go in again.

Dropped in when passing Chillingham Road. Loved it. Not quiet sure what Black Rice is but it’s unbelievable, order about 4 more times on UberEats since too. Healthy, fresh, fast food. ❤️

Quick stop for lunch. Delicious and very reasonably priced especially for a city centre. Very nice staff too.

I only tried the coffee and it is not good enough but the price is cheap so it is acceptable.

It was a hot day and the rubbish bin was open. There was flies on the food and I didn't feel like eating anything. The floor looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a while.

Very disappointing. Nice concept in theory, but tired management and staff, tables uncleared, and filthy tables and floors. Nobody seemed to care. The worst I’ve seen for some time…

I'm gluten-free and I sometimes struggle to find something to eat (regardless really or) as a takeaway, that's not a pie, a pasty, a load of bread or something snacky, which was what was happening when I was in Newcastle. It was my first time in the city, so was searching around, trying to get bearings, whilst also feeling very hungry. So, asked around in places nearby where maybe they offered some gluten-free food but nope, which was why, when walking into The Naked Deli and talking to the man behind the counter, that I was informed that everything offered for the Naked Bowl was gluten-free. He was so helpful and offered guidance on what sauces, out of their selection, would work with my choices, flavour-wise. I went for the chicken satay, the super green quinoa salad (which was made up of quinoa rocket, green beans, garden peas, kale and pomegranate) and the baked potato wedges and I liked the sound of their tzatziki, so I had that, alongside the satay sauce. It was delicious and a decent serving! So good and well thought with the flavours. I ate some of it down on the Quayside and kept the rest for another day, which was thoroughly enjoyed again! Only downside for me...this business is in Newcastle and I live in southwest England!

(Greys street store) came in with my mum and sister and I was blown away! The portion size for what you pay is so generous and the staff were so kind ! Definitely coming back when I’m in Newcastle

GREY STEET LOCATION- This place looks and acts like its ran by a bunch of teenagers. Forgetful staff, very poor attitude, the pancakes made me sick, after I noticed a female staff cough onto the counter top where food is prepared, while over-hearing her say she had food poisoning and was vomiting the day prior. Such rude staff, only one guy which was nice and apologetic, otherwise go somewhere else. Not worth it, bagels are really dry, they're really skimpy on their avocado bagels. Lastly, I used to be a morning regular but they always ran out of ingredients.

Hairs in food. Wouldn't recommend. When i told the staff, Staff were very unconcerned and kept serving. Would not go back. Thanks

Very strange model whereby people are convinced food is low calorie by some odd marketing strategy that the food is ‘clean’. A made up word. Cakes that are ‘healthy’ despite being upwards of 500 cals. Staff rude and abrupt, dirty cafe with a lot of crumbs and unclean tables. Not my choice to visit and certainty don’t recommend for anyone who can see through the facade marketing.

I love the concept and this type of food. However I popped into Newcastle’s GREY STREET takeaway deli at around 4/4.30pm on 4th April and decided on a salad with chicken, and salmon as extra protein. I had initially commented to my daughter that the food looked like it had been there all day, so I was abit hesitant but then saw someone else come in for a salad bowl and it looked ok, healthy and a good portion size, although it needed a good stir first. I had stomach pains through the night and was so so sick in the morning. All classic symptoms of food poisoning. I haven’t been right all week, and last night I was vomiting again. I couldn’t find a number to call, it seems there’s no direct customer services, so I sent a private message straight away, while I was poorly. I received a response after the bank holiday weekend but have had no follow up, as I was promised. Very disappointed.

Lovely place to eat right . I just love having my breakfast bagel and coffee here . The lunch menu is also grand where you can choose your protein which has various options for vegetarian/vegan and non vegetarian. Also wonderful sides . The breakfast platter is also very well designed if you are looking for a big but healthy breakfast

Very nice service, blocked toilet and no lemon slices for the tea. Still using paper cups...All feels a bit down at heel now.

Healthy and soulful food. I always enjoy it here, tasty food without the guilt. Staffs are always lovely as well, definitely my go to when I'm in the area 😊

The store is super cosy, nice and well decorated. The prices of the café are good. For the prices of the food though I would have expected at least some nice cutlery and platter presentation (in the end it's £6 for salmon, scrambled eggs and boiled broccoli), but everything came in disposable boxes and cutlery. Even the fancy smoothies came in plastic cups, which makes everything so un-ecofriendly. I understand they work with takeaways, but having a lot of nice indoor sitting means a certain standard of waiting service. Plus, if you work with healthy and vegan food I think you should be more environmentally aware.

Newcastle store. Lunchtime Sunday. Entered at just before 12. Asked for a Bagel, young lass serving said they’re off as she took a tray of about 8 bagels into the back…. Literally as I was standing there. Then proceeded to climb on the counter and change the sign for breakfast to lunch. In her trainers, on the bench where food is prepped … Asked for a smoothy. She proceeded to chop the whole apple up including seeds and put it all in. I had to stop and explain you don’t eat apple seeds, she was genuine confused as “it all just goes in the blender”, she made another with a total attitude as was clearly furious. 😂🤷‍♂️ Honestly. If this is your business you need to get an eye on some of the staff. Horrible attitude and a total lack of hygiene as well as an understanding of basic food health - in a supposed healthy eating place. Won’t be back. Train your staff or you’ll lose more customers.

One of the best healthy food place in toon + great customer service

I’m currently on my fitness / pt journey (lol no sob story to follow) and trying to avoid eating out. BUT along comes The Naked Deli - the perfect excuse to eat out while still being on a healthy track! My boyfriend and I decided to grab lunch one weekend post gym. I enjoyed the salmon with wild rice and kaleslaw while my man tucked into the Korean beef with broccoli and sweet potato. We also grabbed 2 smoothies! The food was great - you really felt great after eating all the fresh ingredients and in a decent sized portion that wasn’t calorific! The service was also very good with lovely staff. My only downside, hence a 4 not a 5, would be the price point - I did feel it was a little overpriced for what it was as the meals are healthy and uncomplicated. I definitely will be back but I may just grab a smoothie next time…

As my flight was delayed and feeling quite peckish I stumbled across this place in Newcastle Airport..... I was not disappointed. Everything looked (and subsequently tasted) very fresh and very appetising, my choice was 3 salad sides and was pleasantly surprised at the portion size, for £6 I satisfied my hunger with food that I thoroughly enjoyed. I recommend this place if you want a healthy and fresh choice of food. The lady who served me was very pleasant indeed and the servery where the food is kept is very clean and she was very knowledgeable about the choices on offer, a welcome change from the usual over priced cafes, I wish her and the Naked Deli every success and will be paying another visit next time I'm there

Considering the type of food you get here it is really nicely priced and it was delicious! Much healthier option compared to the likes of Subway and for our first time we really enjoyed it here. Lots of seating available too and staff are friendly :) Thanks a lot!

Always liked this place. Had a bad experience the other day with bluebottles landing on food ect. I understand it’s summer, but when it comes to bluebottles you have to give up the rustic open air look and add some cover.

Nice food but flys all over the uncovered salads! Disgusting!!!!!!!! We had pancakes to avoid germs but the server was sneezing all over! Shame

I absolutely love being able to eat such fresh and healthy food, always delicious - but super disappointed they no longer let you buy a smaller box if you just want 2 instead of 3 in a box. I would often get this through the week at work as the full box is too much to both eat and spend regularly, but won't be able to visit half as much if this isn't available. The options don't change much so would benefit from a monthly special. Hopefully these become an option soon as it will be missed!

Great healthy options for breakfast and lunch. Also nice healthy drinks and treats available. Can dine in or takeaway. Bacon & egg breakfast bagel is really good (reasonably priced also)

So living just off Chillingham Road for a few years I’ve discovered there’s quite a few overhyped, trendy eateries in Heaton, not this place though. After going for a morning walk I decided to stop and order some lunch, I had the naked peanut chicken...

I am disgusted with the food I received today Ordered Korean beef naked bowl and protein pancakes. With the beef I came across as what I can only describe as a animal Cartledge tube (see pictures below). The protein pancakes look like a not very...

It's OK not great but not bad. Had some food and coffee there coffee was spot on but the food was a bit on the cold side. Staff seem friendly enough and place was clean. Overall it was ok nothing to shout about but saying that I ve been to worst places. A average cafe I would say.

Absolutely fantastic service from Joe and Hollie at the Naked Deli (Chillingham Road) yesterday! We were having a stressful morning of travelling and they were super lovely by sorting our food order out for us. Couldn't recommend this place more, thank you so much!

Meat was quite nice but the salad was quite possibly the dryest thing ive ever had in my mouth.

Naked Deli used to be one of my favourites, maybe my very favourite in the city but I this was my last visit, the company's values seem to get worse and worse. I can't understand for one moment how they can justify every single thing...

I've visited the Gosforth deli on a few times and love it, was expecting the same standards here as you would. Nothing like, staff seemed nice, food was a disgrace.

Ordered an açai bowl and was presented with a watery pool of smoothie with the berries drowning in it. The minuscule portion of oats was floating dead in the smoothie -which was exactly how I felt when I was served it. If I wanted liquid...

Quality of food is 4/5 but the overuse of plastic and inconsistent portions on smoothies take away satisfaction of an otherwise good and generally well executed idea. Some staff seem a bit cagey at times which is sad - good conditions generally give good people so maybe they are being squeezed too much. Edit: I was referring to use of plastic in the cake containers - they seem to be made from non “biodegradable” plastics? The use of what looks like PLA is commendable elsewhere but still it’s PLA and not paper or wood.

Disappointing - cold clinical ambience with white tiled walls and harsh LED lighting. A terrible wake up call after a night on the Toon. Menu uninspiring and I was left feeling hungry. Service took ages and quite expensive for the rabbit food that you get....

Fine discovery on our first visit to Newcastle. I had breast of chicken with sweet potato chips. My wife a halloumi cheese with chilli wrap with a salad. The coffee was good too. Very satisfying lunch. Reasonably priced.
