Great Service by friendly staff in a brilliant atmosphere, made our New Year's eve a special night.

Called in for a couple of drinks before races! Good atmosphere and friendly people

We always call in here when we visit York, it's not touristy at all and is a proper old fashioned boozer like our own local, Neck Oil on tap which is a bonus.

Came for the mount life Sunday session. Was a great day with an awesome atmosphere! Second Sunday of every month. DJ sets. Live music. Open mic slots. Was an all round great day!! Beer was definitely great and great deals on the shots!!

Great little pub not far from city centre in need of a refurb but more than makes up for that with atmosphere and service good selection of food and drink,very reasonable priced

Good variety of beers with a decent price, ideal for an after work pint. Visitied this pub quite a few times in 2 weeks, and already after the 2nd time it felt like home, people are relaxed, pub is not too crowded. Merged with the pub is a great American style food joint which serves good pizzas, and burgers with great quality meat. Tomorrow will be my last day at this pub and I must admit it is the only thing I've bonded to in York. Thanks to Nicole, Ben and the crew for making us feel like home. Hope I will be welcome if I visit again in a few months :)

DOG FRIENDLY !!! Only one hand pump on, Pedigree but pretty good. Food menu looked ok but didn't try it this time. Sports on TV. Enjoyed our visit and if they'd had other ales would have stayed longer. Next time, thanks.

Staying in local hotel called in to see if footie was being shown next evening within minutes loved the place landlady so helpfull,locals so welcoming and ready to exchange banter visited next 2 evenings and atmosphere superb.will return to c u all next time in York,thank you all 4 making us so welcome! Visited on late may as a part of my British History and Heritage trial, I can truly say this pub is a masterpiece if you are looking for a classic english pub vibe. Good ales, nice staff and the food was very cheap and appealing....

I was in through the week ,was just expecting a quick drink and a walk into town but turned out to be busy and a great afternoon and friendly staff hence stayed longer can't wait to pop back.

The Mount Pub in York serves great food and drink. The drinks here are more affordable than most pubs in the area. The bar staff (especially Nicole) are very friendly and show an interest. I’d recommend this pub and restaurant in York 100%.
