A bit of a mixed opinion… take away on the weekend was amazing but Tues eve awful! Rice the same but all else yuck! Different chefs for sure! Very expensive £14 for a main too and half full pots…

I spent £14 pound on drinks on Friday night

Service was excellent. Can't comment on the food as I didn't eat. Unusually quiet for a Friday apparently.

Don't judge a book by it's covers. The Thai food is absolutely amazing. Fresh, homemade, delicious and good value too.

Had a takeaway tonight. The food wad amazing, at last a really decent Thai Resturant. Highly recommend

Just had a fantastic Thai lunch with my Family. The quality of the food is really good. I would strongly recommend the food here. I think this is the best Phad Thai I have had for years and we have just returned from a Holiday in Thailand. Many Thanks

Food was lovely and had few games of pool

Horrible food!! A easy dish like sweet and sour chicken was horrible, raw chicken and the curry is the worst I ever tasted!! Please send your chef to training. You can clearly see the food was not cooked!!!

Loved coming here before the menu changed! Now we only stop for a drink if we're out with the dogs.

What a lovely find. Great Thai food - cooked from scratch, brilliant service and great atmosphere. I hope it doesn't get too popular and we can't get a table. A really enjoyable evening. We will be back - regularly. Thank you.

Takeaway ordered....Mixed platter £8 as you can see from the photo not worth the price & overcooked dry food. £19 for king prawn curry dish & rice again as you can see half a container full. Where were the king prawns? Where was the favour? As for the chill & pepper chips at £5 what a joke. Seriously avoid this place unless you like being ripped off. How can an award winning chef cook & send out such rubbish food?

Had dinner at the Mill House tonight, it was absolutely delish. We cannot wait to go back.

Just had a take away from the mill house. Now I'm not a person that likes too much spicey food, but tried a stir fry and yes it was hot to me, but soooo tasty and what I call clean food (meaning origanal and cooked fresh) I just couldn't stop eating it. The food is so good best thai I have tasted, and the staff so pleasant to talk to. Well done to you all. And yes will be back soon.

Really good food and an extensive menu

Just tried the new Thai menu out. It was first class, right balance of spice and heat. Service was quick and friendly.

Didn't order food, just enjoyed a drink with family, the bar maid was lovely, unfortunately (noones fault) there was a child in a pushchair screaming constantly very upset and stressed this went on for the duration of our time in the building (at least 2 hours) we then chose to leave as conversation was difficult to hear over the sheer volume of screaming, again it is a family place so noise is expected but we found it distressing with how distressed the child was,

Went out for a meal with a friend over the weekend , took me 20 minutes to be served at the bar to order my food and get a drink , the girl who served me looked under the age of 18 , she wasn’t very polite , it’s not the first time I have visited and she has been lone working, I’ve also had experiences when I have been served food with a young child at the waiters hip , however the food was nice, however I won’t be returning.

Food was lovely , however wouldn’t mind seeing a roast dinner on the menu as an option on a sunday, the young girl who was serving me was rude and wasn’t in any form of what I would call appropriate clothing for work , she looked younger than 18 and there was no other staff member that I was aware of behind the bar.

Stood at the bar for ages and everyone else got served before me even new people walking through the door . Underage people behind the bar serving underage customers. The manager seems to have a personal issue against me and she don’t have the business interests at heart . Will not be going here again

Nice enough pub, fairly pricey but not too wild, could do with a ramp for the upper section at the back as it's not wheelchair accessible.

Came here for a birthday party. Really enjoyed the vegan options, particularly the ‘beef and cheese’ nachos.

Went in for food today the kids enjoyed the kids meals, me and my partner had the cheesy chips that was amazing, the bar staff are very friendly and the pub is amazing for the kids, we will definitely be back again

Great family friendly local. Since Steph and Kath have taken the pub over its a very different pub from The Mill of old. It's a local that I'm now happy to take the family to for some great food or a game of pool with the kids. The locals are a great bunch, always polite and chatty, and notably keep the language down when the kids are in, a credit to the work the girls have done to turn the pub clientele around. -Keep an eye out for live music, family fun days, music and themed nights. The family fun day that they just hosted was a hit with parents and kids alike. And the Pizzas are knock out! -But be warned, the spicy pizza is just that, if you can handle it. ;)

Warm welcome from staff, food great and good choices for all dietary requirements. Large outside sitting area especially with the warm weather. Special thanks the steph and Kathy who are always pleasant.

Came here with some family after a local hike. Very quiet, but the staff were friendly and it's dog friendly. We sat in the garden which was nice. Food was good and hot. Contrary to a previous review, the peas were not "hard as bullets". Would come again.

Very Poor Thought would give Mill House a try under new management Unfortunately still same old story placed food order starter and mains arrived at same time ??? No apologies food poorly presented sent mine back peas like bullets . Complete waste of money only plus was no kids running amok like under previous management. Don’t bother

Barstaff are awesome, pints are great (good choices and taste fresh) - not often you can get a Madri on tap, and dog friendly too. Can recommend, will be back more often

3 stars for the pub but 5 for service. The lady who served us was very attentive and inviting. We went as a group from work and she acknowledged that it was one of the groups birthdays and brought us a pizza over, which was very thoughtful! Thank you

A bit quiet, but the landlady and staff were very friendly. A good selection of pizzas, really well cooked and very tasty. They also do takeaway pizzas so will definitely be giving that a go!

Since covid they have had a bit of a revamp. It has a really nice family atmosphere, has a good vibe with good music. Food is okay and drinks are pretty cheap. Will definitely be coming back.

After buying a pint of beer and a cola, I then asked if I could have some tap water (in a jug to be covid safe) so that I could refill my water bottle, but was refused and was told twice that they sell bottled water. All licensed premises in England and Wales are required by law to provide "free potable water" to their customers upon request. Poor selection of ale, could only see Timothy Taylor on tap.

Well what a lovely place. I had a wonderful evening here, there were such a range of people but everyone was friendly and chatty. The staff were so welcoming and considering this wasn't a local pub to me I was immediately made to feel welcome. The place was clean and tidy, toilets were spotless and smelled lovely. The only thing I can't really comment on is the food, it is very reasonably priced but I did not eat here. Drinks are well priced also. Thank you the Mill for a lovely evening

Needs an industrial deep clean and redecorating. Toilets are disgusting the place is really run down such a shame as it has potential with the size and location

Enjoyed a meal (4 adults, 2 kids) in there this weekend. Was really pleased. Good value and service. It's not haute cuisine and doesn't pretend to be, but its good food, good service at a good price. Very nice

Today was my second time in this pub to a funeral reception I would recommend this to anyone staff very helpful

I was only there for a funeral get together,but from what i saw,it was a good spread,plenty of places and tables to sit,friendly helpful staff and the food was great too.

Steak was not cooked to my liking I asked for rare and was a bit chewy. Only came with chips and onion rings which was cooked ok.

Cutlery wasn't washed properly and glasses were smeared.also got one drink that had something floating in it.on the good side it had good food.

Quiet local pub used by local people. We stopped for a quick drink and bathroom stop.

We held a meeting for geocaching today at the Mill ,l 42 people attended the meals were great and the service was excellent. Everyone who attended really enjoyed it. THANK you to management and staff for such a good service.
