I've never had a problem before. Today the food wasnt so good. Tasteless and chips tasted of fat and some were undercooked. Hopefully just an off day.

No problem it being slightly late. Always worth waiting for. Delicious and served carefully.

As usual great food,well cooked and enjoyed by us. I saved £9,00 by using up my stamps. No complaints from me1

Ordered 2 can's of coke zero but orginial coke delivered.

Pasties are not very nice and the rissoles taste as if they've gone off,also asked if I could have them all wrapped together and he refused won't be going there anymore

arrived on time still hot. chips were nice good portions. the large cod filled the box end to end. Irish curry a little bitter compared to other chippies. the only thing I would change would be the quality of the sausages. other chip shops have much higher quality pink/porky sausages not these white tasteless ones I had with this order of battered sausage. other than that would order again as was very good overall.

Food was great will be definitely using again, highly recommended.

Placed order by phone told 45 mins for delivery called after an hour to find out where food is got a reply from a man who didn't even know about the order ! Total shambles !!

This is the best chip shop in Barry. Fish was hot and fresh. Perfectly cooked and I’m so fussy. Chips were lovely. Peas lovely too. My partner always enjoys their doner kebabs. It’s the kind of meal you eat and you’re stuffed but it’s so nice you don’t want to waste it. Stunning food. Lovely presentation also.

Driver called me when he arrived and expected me to go outside to meet him. This is a regular occurrence with this place unfortunately. Food was also lukewarm which is frustrating. Maybe if the driver had not wasted time calling me we might have had hot food.

it was late but that was my fault as I gave the wrong direction and the poor driver was trying to find me. The boss I believe I spoke to managed to find the correct location and got the driver to come to the correct address. The boss stayed on the phone to me to make sure I got my order. Customer service was good, apologised for the inconvenience. Enjoyed the food especially the curry sauce.

food hot and tasty, unlike some places cold, very good service too

If you ever buy sauces or ketchup they charge happily but never put it in the bag. Last 4 times in a row now...no sauce or ketchup..which is easy done but if you charge you have to give it to the customer. Time before those cold food will go somewhere else now. Not worth it. Over priced too.

Waited an hour and a half for cold food! Why take the order if you can't deliver a service!

An hour late - and I pre ordered an hour before I wanted it delivered! I called them at the time id asked for food to be delivered and they said they had tried to contact me - I received no messages or phone calls!

I shouldn't have listened to the good reviews on here. Food isn't that great. Went in for me and my gf and left with no money, stodgy chips and soggy and way too greasy fish in batter. That's just when I left. Want to feel bad leaving a place of business go here. The customer service was so rude. I dont think I've ever encountered such a bad atmosphere in that type of setting. Non schalant attitude from male staff serving me, he should of just said "f*** off", it would have been easier.

Absolutely disgusting. I buy a small bag of chips 1-2 per week. Everytime I buy a large, it's almost the same as a small. I share a small chips between two of us and its fine, there's some left over but when I want a large chips for when an extra person is over its smaller, even though I've ordered a large! I've been left with less than a handful of chips. It sounds silly but it's clearly them taking the pi**. Now the sauces have become smaller due to smaller tubs. As a long term customer I've kept 1 of the old tubs and tested it. It's smaller!... but the same price. Genuinely do not know, for the life of me, why people think its the greatest chippy going. I live a few streets over so as a regular customer, just know...they're ripping you off.

No curry sauces in any of the 3 orders placed then rang the shop and he delivered them 35 minutes later they went straight in the bin as we eat the food

We ordered the platter to share between a few of us for delivery, which arrived promptly piping hot! All the food included in the platter was really tasty including the curry sauce and the amazing gravy they served!! This is the first time we have ordered here for a while due to where we live, but it certainly won't be the last now following this most recent exeperience.

Ordered takeaway for me and my children this evening never again will I order from here I have ordered fish and chips and I’ve taken a bite of the fish to get a bone stabbing me in the gum thought nothing of it carried on eating to then nearly choke on 2 other bones this meal wasn’t edible!

Drinks not with order. Driver said he would come back. Waited 20 minutes no drinks. Store won't answer the phone

Always order this on Uber eats, especially at late time when I finish work, never shows up, if your closed turn off your Uber eats tablet, I’ve lost money waiting for nothing.

Ordered garlic mayonnaise as sauce ,got chilli.Also cold and bottle of coke not diet coke delivered.Not first time I've had issues with this restaurant.Food has gone downhill last few times and issues with delivery/ instructions.Owner is rude , when I phoned and said food cold he said it would be.

Curry had spilt everywhere. Delivery guy said he would get my drink from a different shop because I realised it wasn't there and he never came back.

Food portion size is not worth the money

I had I problem with my order it was super cold I called and they made a fresh order I had a call for the manager I understand he was concerned. But I give this restaurant 5 stats they really pulled it out of the park when they didn't need to. I would 100% order from here again.

Arrived earlier than planned, however wasn't happy with the quality of all the food. Chips weren't the best and neither was the curry sauce. Disappointed to be honest.

Good is superb..ordered today 18th October long wait for delivery over an hour .prices do not match menu prices over priced on every item extra £1 per item for delivery .last time from there sorry unil.

Food came cold, had to microwave, driver did not bring food in heat bag from car to front door.

AWFUL!!!! Completely wrong order and when rung up to say they left the phone on the side having a conversation about me while I could hear. Very rude staff, and no one knows or understands anything!! What a joke!!

We order at least twice a week but tonight’s food was so disappointing large chips which are over £4 didn’t even feed 2 of us the pie was hard couldn’t cut into it and the curry sauce was so runny not a patch on the usual food very disappointed and a waste of money .

Meal deal was supposed to have a can of drink with it which didn't arrive, fish meal was supposed to have lemon and tartar sauce which wasn't present. Kebab was dreadful - all dried up and the coleslaw was sweet? Chips were a mix of barely cooked or very old earthy potatoes some of which were actually bad. As a regular customer of Master Fryer I have to say this was far far below the usual standard.

Ordered at 5:20 & food arrived at 7pm!!!

No problem at all with our food being delivered early. We welcomed it as were hungry. Our food was delicious and the chips were exactly how we like them,nice and thick! We will certainly be ordering our food from Master Fryer from now on.

This place lovingly prepares, handles and presents your food with attention to detail. The fish is succulent and the batter is light and crispy. Everything I’ve ordered here from battered sausages, to curry sauce has been spectacular. Tastes fresh every time. Staff and drivers are lovely. 5 stars.

Food was greasy on the outside but dry on the inside I had fish bites but only had 2 bites of one as it was awful.

Normally all good. Last order was fish and chips meal deal. They forgot the chips 😲. Check your delivery order on doorstep.

Did not receive order as staff did not follow instructions on where to deliver.They denied knowing the location having been in business in the town for 15 years.They did not contact me via any means to check where it was or have the sense to Google/ map it.It totally spoilt my evening and instead I had to go to another chip shop.I still have not received my money back as they would not refund.Did not receive order want money back and compensation
