Thank you to the fantastic la bone restaurant who gave us 12 wonderful meals to North Walsham hospital.we are facing bad times ahead, and truly grateful for lifting our morale! We are a small rural hospital and sometimes forgotten, but will be playing a part in this awful time . Thank you xx

I don't know where these reviewers were, but North Walsham is several miles from the coast, and so obviously doesn't have a main drag to the seafront. I'm sorry you had a bad time, but if you ever come to North Walsham I'm sure you'll find us a friendly bunch!&

Following on from a previous review which I have read, this is a very local pub. The young barmaid was singing karaoke as we went in and the vibe felt quite local. It doesn’t really bother me as we stood outside and chatted to other “outsiders”. Nice enough pub on the main drag to the seafront and worth have a quick drink in.

We went here for a quick drink. Bar maid was friendly. Got no glass offered with bottled soft drink. It's felt like being in a living room in a bar. As we left someone shouted 'bye then' passive aggressively?! Won't be returning.

Went for a post dinner drink. There was not a sober person in the house, the loo doors had been kicked in. There was karaoke on but the only guy singing was the chap running it.

This is a small but lovely drinking establishment. Management and staff were friendly and helpful. Our dog was made very welcome. Visited in the afternoons only so cannot comment on night time activity.

If you want to get to know the characters of North Walsham give this pub a visit! Have only been there a few times but already feel like a local. Landlord loves a good old chat as do the customers

The new chef is doing a great job in this little town centre pub. Unpretentious good home cooking with local ingredients. The inside and outside of the building is in need of some updating to make it a little more welcoming and I feel sure that if this is achieved the pub will go from strength to strength.

Had to stop to recharge my car so had nowhere else to go as it was pouring. Reluctantly I went to the cafe and ordered a small breakfast and coffee not expecting much. Obviously the ingredients were just supermarkets own and not what I usually buy. However the staff in the kitchen cooked it all to perfection even the toast was cooked properly and did not resemble stale bread as so many establishments serve it. The coffee was pleasant too. Well done to the kitchen staff. Shopped afterwards and the staff on the deli need training and the female looked so miserable a smile would have cracked her face. She should be trained by the lady serving in the cafe.

We've been here a few times over the years, but won't be coming back. The menu used to be good for vegetarians, but this time there was either a "cheese meltdown" pizza or a selection of sides. The others portions were a bit on the small side, but apparently tasty enough.

Great cafe, one of the best we had been in on our 2 week holiday. Cake selection was enormous, coffee tasted great, toilets sparkling clean & friendly service. I can see why it's so popular, highly recommend!

The meals were really overpriced and disappointing, service staff were very friendly and we didn't want to complain, but a couple of the meals were pretty awful to be honest, and the rest of them barely passable for £16 odd quid each. A lentil and mushroom stew for £18 that was barely a starter size; a child's pasta for £9 that was eaten in 3 mouthfuls. All round, really delighted with kelling heath facilities, and the woodland lodge is fabulous, but the restaurant really needs an overhaul. As others have said, a captive audience shouldn't justify such overpriced poor choices
