Food was very good. Very impressed with the service we received. Gavin was extremely helpful when we said my daughter has a fish allergy. He came over to our table to explain how the different items of food were prepared. We would go back again, confident that the staff know about food allergies.

We came down on the Sunday to scatter the ashes of my partners late father… it was a very wet and windy day, thankfully they found us a table and served us amazing tea and coffee plus the free WiFi kept the kids busy… great establishment friendly staff

Came in late on a Sunday afternoon and totally blown away with the amazing Sunday roast. Vegetarian options were great. Service was quick and very friendly, I would highly recommend.

I had the Chicken & Mushroom Pie, the pastry was mostly undercooked, and the whole pie was soft and stodgy. Asked for additional gravy when meal arrived, 10minutes came back to ask if I still wanted it, and then a further few mins before it came out. I left most of the Pie and when plates collected the server said nothing. My chips were mostly cold, and the gravy was bland. My partner had mozzarella dough balls and chicken sides. Both were very disappointing, there was no cheese it had come off and burnt. Music was quite loud for a quiet place. Only positive was the food came out quickly. Overall a very poor meal unfortunately, and not value for money, and it has put us off coming back.

Wasn't going to go to the pub, however I got stuck in the rain and thought I'd wait inside till it calmed down. Had a couple of nice pints of lager, it's clear that they look after their lines as the beer was lovely. Would've stopped for food, but my wife had dinner waiting for me.

Went to The Longshore for my Birthday Lunch & was very pleased that we did. The Food, Service & the Price was excellent, my partner had steak which was succulent with no fatty or gristley bits & cooked to perfection! I had a Cowboy Burger which was absolutely beautiful & seriously tasty. The service was excellent & Gavin & the other staff were very attentive. We had a glance into the kitchen on the way out & saw that it was mega clean, which is always reassuring. The previous Sunday we had lunch at the newly refurbished Harvester in Grinstead Lane & let me tell you that apart from the staff the whole food experience was AWFUL & OBSCENELY OVER PRICED!! Steak was £21.99 & wasn’t even fit to re-sole a shoe with, peas were over cooked & fries were like rubber. Won’t be going back, will be The Longshore for light lunch every time now. Well done guys & MASSIVE BOO TO THE CRAPPY OVER PRICED & CHEAP SOURCED FOOD HARVESTER.

Have been to the Longshore a few times now as Shoreham Airport restaurant is not the same as it was. Always a busy pub and we had a 40 min wait for food but that was ok. Good customer service from the staff Gavin Aston. Good curry. Will be back

They seem to have turned things around for the better which is good. Give it a try.

My wife and I received a warm welcome and had the freedom to choose our table. The menu choices were varied and described well. Counter ordering was quick and easy and we were able to raise a tab so we could add additional drinks or food. The food itself was served in good time, well presented, and very tasty. All staff were well dressed, helpful and courteous. All in all we had a very pleasant dining experience, with the bonus of a 30% off main meals offer I had received by text.

Lovely, attentive staff, too many to name but on our last visit, Chris was the man! Always nice atmosphere, very clean tables etc. Food is excellent - steaks are always cooked to perfection! - and the food is always cooked fresh and served hot!

The staff are all very friendly and efficient. The food was excellent and good value for money. We meet there every month for a committee meeting and have now decided to run our monthly book club from a private area within the pub where unlimited tea/coffee and cakes are served for a very reasonable price.

Spur of the moment decision to go out for dinner tonight, with our daughter to celebrate our wedding anniversary. Great restaurant with plenty of menu choices including sharing platters, vegetarian and vegan options. Reasonably priced and good quality with lovely friendly staff.

We visited for my son's 17th birthday celebration, I am so pleased to say, it was one of the best experiences we have had, as a group of 23 of us we were all over the moon with the service. The quality of the food was amazing could not fault it at all, Members of staff were awesome, really made us feel welcome. We will certainly be returning in the near future.

Absolutely amazing service , staff were brilliant and constantly checking everything was okay. We were a party of 23 for a 17 year old birthday all our food came out together and hot ,portions were huge . The male staff member even took some photos for us which is beyond normal customer service we receive in other places . Portions were huge well worth the cost even the childrens portions . The atmosphere and food combined meant the birthday was enjoyable.

Wide selection of standard, classic and unusual dishes at great prices. A small misunderstanding was cleared up immediately and we all enjoyed it. Only downfall was the Irish coffee - bar person didn't seem to know what one was and it came like a latte, all mixed up.

The Manager Gavin we Hope he was anyway! :) Was absolutely amazing great service from him! I asked for a rare steak unfortunately it came out too done he clicked it straight away and sorted it out, ended up with a new fresh Hot meal & a Lovely Rare Steak! Went in for lunch a couple of weeks ago, pub was half empty. Staff completely ignored my despite same woman walking past twice, asked at bar and was told to find myself a table. Walked past the booths were they were storing cleaning stuff and just found dirty tables that weren’t cleared, scruffy decor. We left which is a shame as my parents use the pub for food very often, but won’t be anymore

We booked for 10 people the service was excellent the staff were professional kind excellent service did not rush us. This was my husbands visit to see and meet all his nieces and nephew and their families plus his beloved sister as we have just lost his youngest sister this year We were allowed to bring my little Maltese we will be back next year the manager was great

The food was lovely. But the service was a little too long. Not enough staff. But a great welcoming atmosphere.

We visited lunchtime for a family birthday celebration. We did book and you need to input your car reg. details to avoid a parking fine. I like the fact that you can take your time ordering from the menu before going to the bar to place the order. There is a qr option too. Some food was out of stock and this seems to be a common theme now across pubs we have visited of late. When the food arrived, my steak and ale pie was nice but overall portion sizes are not what they used to be. Prices were reasonable with service 1st class. The menu will cater for most tastes along with "themed" food nights during the week.Recommended Thank you Longshore

Great place for an impromptu lunch with my wife, easy parking (free), Good service and good food.

Lovely place, ofdl for a drink or a bite to eat, menu suits all tastes.. Staff always friendly, helpful and I've never had any issues.. Definitely recommend.
