The Limes in Swale

Disappointed no roast dinners available on a Sunday however we were asked to chose from the main menu. Staff very friendly and we were seated and given a drinks order straight away., We chose the beef burger and chips, a charcuterie board as one of the mains and the Greek chicken skewers with grilled pitta Tzatziki and Greek salad. The charcuterie board was mistaken as a starter even though the lady took the order understanding it was a main so this arrived way ahead of the rest of our meals. She did offer to take it back yo the kitchen but as it was on the table we said it could stay, It was mainly a small sliced dry baguette along the length of the rectangle plate very thinly sliced salami and cheese crumbled into a pile with a tiny pot of chutney. The burger looked nice when the rest of the food eventually arrived and the chips were hot. I had the chicken skewers. I have to say the chicken part was very nice however you cannot chuck three or four sliced little black olives in a normal salad and call it Greek!! A Greek salad should have slices of cucumber slices of onion and slices of tomato not chopped to tiny pieces and it should have at least a chunk of feta on top if not cubes of feta within ! The tzatziki was in a tiny tiny bowl and was nothing like how it should be made or taste. If I did not know what it was supposed to be I would have no idea from the flavour. The small "grilled" pitta was so pale and hard on the outside if it saw the grill for more than two seconds I would be surprised. Certainly not what was promised sadly. We have not been to the Limes for a while as we moved away but we used to go all the time as it was great for lunch and evening meal out, it seems to have changed from a nice relaxing ambiance to a rowdy noisy bar with pricey drinks and food on the side. We will not be choosing to visit again if we are in Faversham but if you don't mind spending around £21 a head for a small plate of food and a beer whilst sitting trying to have a nice lunch out with loud rowdy mob at the bar then go and see for yourselves. Weatherspoon's would probably be quieter!

Impressed at the response to feedback The Limes now has an excellent range of choice for vegetarians including the return of the mucky chips. So all stars returned. Tasty food, good service. Will definitely return for some of the other veggie options.

We spent the evening here to watch the Europa cup final.The landlord very kindly let us take over the back room so that our young grandsons could also watch with family and friends.Our son and family sampled the food which they said was delicious.All in all it was a very enjoyable evening.

Went for food and a few drinks with friends to watch the Arsenal v Man City game, the bartender very kindly put us in a back room with virtually our own TV and dining table around it; was very accommodating. The service was excellent and the food was really nice. The only thing they couldn’t help us with was the football score at the end! But it was a lovely evening none the less.

Great pub, great food, great staff ! I've eaten here twice in the last month to watch the rugby and can't fault it.

It’s a lovely pub, good atmosphere amongst customers however, staff are very blunt and come across as rude and a little bit stuck up, took ages to serve me even though it wasn’t busy they acted like they were avoiding serving. And the looks they give customers is very off putting and unwelcoming.

Been to this pub a few times since Christmas Had their Sunday Roast which was great, hot , tasty and everything you would expect from a Sunday roast. Had a mates 50th birthday dinner there where we ordered off the restaurant menu Everyone had an amazing experience and service the duck is spot on! Recently we had simple ham, egg and chips in the bar, again very good, hot tasty and nicely presented. Not had a bad meal or service here and also enjoy the nice selection of beers and spirits. The service for the food wasn’t good . Came out in dribs & drabs. One dish at a time, even though we’d preordered. Chips coming out 15 minutes before the burgers . Half the party had eaten before some even had any food. Can’t believe how unorganised they were.

Popped into The Limes a couple of times for a lunch time drink and food last week. The girls running the the bar and waiting on tables were really great and friendly nothing was too much trouble for them. We eat and drank on both occasions, the food was piping hot and fresh. Definitely recommend them for both food and drinks.

Leave you waiting so long for your food . Plates were bought out with meat and potatoes on and it was ages before veg was brought out . Ages again before desserts were brought out and the sticky toffee pudding was burnt and bitter . Not good as these are expensive I believe £ 7. 50 !!!! Seemed to me they were short on staff Chap behind bar was chucking the wine in the glass . It was going all over the place . Won't be returning not a nice experience

Used to have a lovely menu including for vegetarians. Now your only choice is a burger or hot dog. Sadly yet another pub that won't get our custom. It really isn't difficult to cater for vegetarians I.e. provide decent choices. Needless to say we had to leave.

Food and atmosphere was lovely. More could be provided to keep the children occupied - there was a kids menu with games on the back, fab, but no colouring pencils or wax crayons for them to use. We waited a while for our food to be served but we were there on a Friday night, start of the August bank holiday weekend, and so I think that is excusable. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

Such a shame, we used to love this place! However, something seems to have changed in recent months. Staff don't appear to be interested in providing table service and the burgers, which were always fabulous previously, were somehow very average. We left feeling quite disappointed.

Under previous management The Limes was great. Not anymore. It is awful. Front of house staff no longer greet anyone unless they know them, they avoid looking at you if at all possible, overall the customer service is severely lacking. There’s no longer any capacity for walk ins to order food. We’ve popped in a few times for food and even though there have been tables available, we have been met with curt responses that we should have booked several days before. Sadly, this is the last time we will visit.

Haven't been here for a few years and popped in for an impromptu meal with family. Lovely welcome and excellent service. Good food selection including for vegetarians which is unusual for a pub. Loaded chips are amazing.

Roadside pub easily missed but that would be a shame. Good Shepherd Neame beer well kept, and slightly unusual food menu. The food however was extremely good. Those serving in 'The Limes' were pleasant, friendly and efficient. Highly recommended if you are in Faversham.

The food shown on the online menu looks considerably better than the well below average food that’s actually served up.Bizarre menu made up of predominantly chicken wings and chips; lots of chips with a veritable plethora of ‘stuff’ thrown on top of them.I went for the veggie option ‘falafels’. Small, hard, mass produced ‘bullets’ of tasteless nothingness surrounded by various badly cooked vegetables and bought in synthetic sauces. Very disappointing. When searching online this place is shown as dog friendly: please note that dogs are only allowed in the bar, not the restaurant. This meant that my friend and I had to sit at a table that was passed by everybody (less than two metres) who entered the venue. This was somewhat of a paradox as the staff were more occupied with enforcing the Covid rules in a somewhat military fashion than actually being customer focused and applying common sense to the former. All in all a very unenjoyable experience, a place I would not visit again.

Our favourite Sunday roast in Faversham. We’re pleased Sunday roasts are back. Our favourite is the chicken. But I can’t resist the starters too - calamari and chicken wings on other days.

ok it boasts favershams best burger, its better than that its the best burger ive ever tasted absolute perfection. the side of loaded fries was a meal in itself and equally top quality.i had a pint as full but wife and kids has deserts all amazing chocolate brownie, childrens cookie and ice cream.our son adam is on autistic spectrum and is very paricular about food as he watches gordon ramsey a lot. he gave 10 out of 10 thats a first........ lovely day nice place staff reallt polite and nothing a problem. top top place were go back a 3rd,4th,5th time and so on......

By far and away the best pub I've visited during the current Covid crisis. All the right measures are in place but in a very subtle way so you can feel relaxed and normal.The staff are exceptional! have always been good pre-covid but are really stepping up to face the new challenge. Very attentive and professional while still displaying good nature and charm. Perfect!

I never normally write a review especially a bad one as we all have bad days and sometimes it’s hard to put on a smile, working in pubs and restaurants myself I’d know. However last night five friends and I visited the Limes as a Saturday eve treat, we had a couple of waitresses, all were fine apart from one, the waitress with lash extensions? (I didn’t catch her name) who as very dismissive, rude and unhelpful. She had a really bad attitude to the point where we felt bad asking for more drinks leaving us without service for about 40 mins because of table service rules, or awkward asking for her help- which is literally her job. She was glaring at friends while they were telling stories as she collected glasses and as previously mentioned her attitude was poor. I understand it’s difficult to work in customer service especially Saturday nights, particularly with covid-19, however the local pubs are open and it’s important we support them.I work in a pub myself and the rest of my friends work all week and this was pricey treat with our bill coming to about £160, we were all polite and helpful- the same couldn’t be said about the service. I felt awkward asking about my allergy, which is something that could be life threatening. There wasn’t much on offer for the nut allergy or vegans but that wasn’t the issue.My friends and I will not be returning which is really sad for us to say about a local business.

Stopped off here for lunch and as we were eating in the evening didn't want too much. Being a veggie there wasn't a huge choice so ended up having veggie burger, swapping the bun for salad and shared a dish of chips. Have to say this is one of the best lunches I have had for a long time. The burger came with lots of bbq sauce and a spicy sauce, it was scrummy. Can't even describe the chips, they were soooo naughty, lots of sauce and chilies and smashed avocado, I think the menu described them as smug fries. They were to die for. Would definitely go here just for the chips and burger.

We hired the main room upstairs for a 80th party and it was fantastic, really great space lots of help on hand to lay the tables and chairs out and manage the private bar. We’d organised a buffet and the chef was great accommodating our requests for hot and cold options. Food went down a storm and the party was a great success. Lovely helpful staff. Held my 60th birthday celebration at the Limes with a buffet lunch and the bar upstairs. Everyone was very impressed with the team on duty that day and I had several comments from guests as to how efficient the team was and how unobtrusive - and how good the food was - the chips got lots of mentions! Booking was easy and Lauren and Yazmin were extremely helpful and efficient when explaining how the event might run and then making sure it did run well on the day. The team made my special day very special! So, could you please thank all those who worked on Sunday and tell them that they helped make it a very special day for me and I'm very grateful.

Well worth visiting for good food, friendly and efficient staff and good atmosphere, especially during the Faversham Literary Festival last weekend. The veggie pattie was enjoyable, great sweet potato fries and extremely tempting sticky toffee pudding. Couldn't ask for more. Even when really busy and buzzing, the service was just right. My husband called in on our way back from shopping and we had a lovely lunch, great service and amazing food. really enjoyable. We will certainly be coming back!

I booked a table for 4 for 7 pm on Sat 22nd Feb. The four of us got there early and quickly settled into our reserved table. Drinks were ordered and served quickly and efficiently. Indeed the waitresses were very attentive and served well throughout our meal. We had two different beers and some Pinot Grigio white wine as well as tap water. I ordered a rump steak done medium but found it quite tough. My wife had the chicken supreme. Our two friends ordered a sweet course and I did ask for Cheese and Biscuits but they have not got this on their menu. Finally I had a very good americano coffee. The bill was reasonable and came to just under £90 for the four of us. I think the website show the pub/restaurant better than reality!

Well, firstly I would of never of thought I would be writing such a bad review about one of my local pubs! I am completely devastated and disappointed that such a lovely pub/restaurant has gone so far down hill. When first arriving, the toilets were left in a very disgusting state and should of been the first sign to leave. The female toilets seemed to been destroyed in the sense of no toilet roll and female hygiene bags everywhere. As well as the soap dispenser begin left on the side, after being dismounted from the wall. Once seated at the table, it was clear the servers were in no interest to serve us, as well as explain the special. After a while, we were granted with the service. The 2 gins that we’re order were not in a gin glass, nor was there any fruit. Which the lady on the table next to us did receive. After drinking the first lot of drinks, we were still waiting to order our food. Once this occurred we did order a second round and these were completely drank far before the food arrived. We felt that the service we received wasn’t to the normal standard it use to be, as it was clear that our server did have some negative attitude. When ordering desserts, we were then informed the coffee machine was broken. We understand that this isn’t the servers fault, but the deliver was again very negative. There was also no hint of offering any other hot drinks as well. Finally when trying to pay for this Disaster meal, it took along time for our servers to bring out our bill. When it was finally brought out, the server took it back away as she asked if we were splitting the total. At this point it was getting very frustrating as normal bills can be done on the card machine straight away. After waiting more time, it was then brought out again, but it wasn’t the correct bill. Therefore the bill was taken away, meaning we had to wait even longer. It did take a good 10mins for the managers to sort this out. But after having a very disappointing meals, we did just wanted to pay and leave. When paying for this, we did say to the sever that the toilets are in a right state and how the coffee machine begin broken must be horrible for them. When saying this, the server then said ‘oh you had coffees’ but obviously we replied with no it’s broken and she then took the time to explain why they are not officiant coffee. This was slightly odd to us as we had to say no the machine is broken? As mentioned I am very shocked that I am even writing such a bad review, especially on one of my locals! But due to this experience, I shall never recommend the limes ever again!

We had a wonderful Lynch here today for my sisters birthday. The food was excellent with great vegetarian and children’s options. The price is reasonable and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.

Visited this pub during the last Sunday before Christmas when the Faversham Christmas market was on.The pub itself is nicely decorated, two large screens in the main bar showing live football. Had a Christmas turkey roast dinner. Turkey meat was processed and the ‘roast’ potatoes were boiled and had then been placed under a grill to brown off. So were not actually roasted! Good choice of roasted vegetables. Carrots, parsnips, brussels, beans and mangetout. Good selection of Shephard Neame drinks.Wouldn’t recommend if you’re after a traditional roast dinner.

Went to the Limes last week to meet an old friend for a catch-up lunch before Christmas, tried to book the Railway Hotel but couldn't so The Limes was the next nearest, close to Faversham railway station. A friendly welcome from the barmaid who looked very harassed, it didn't help that she couldn't find our booking. Not a problem they had a spare table, had a pint of Howling Wolf whilst waiting for my chum to arrive, the bar was empty as the barmaid was dealing with a brewery delivery. On his arrival we were settled in a quiet area and ordered, our food was very god, a superb scallop starter followed by the hamburger for me, good job I declined the fries as the burger was extremely substantial, my pal had calamare which he rated, I had an excellent glass of Rioja. Our total spend was £45.00 which I though to be good value. We couldn't help but feel sorry for the barmaid, who not only served drinks at the bar but was also the waitress and dealt with brewery delivery. What a trooper!

Visited with friends on the back of a trip advisor review. Was not disappointed great restaurant with a traditional pub atmosphere. Food was restaurant standard well presented and tasted great at a very reasonable price. Lots of variety on the menu with 4 different types of loaded chips! Waitresses were excellent remembering who ordered what and what drinks we had previously had at the bar. They we're polite, friendly and helpful. And oh! the deserts were to die for. Will definitely be going back

What a place, food is next level. The BEST burger and messy fries I’ve ever tasted. Service is warm and very friendly as well. Deffo worth a visit people.

Visited for a couple of the events taking place in the Faversham Fringe - a comedy night and a musical review. Great performances and a good space upstairs to host them. Staff all very friendly and nice atmosphere. If you are looking for something to do in the evening in Faversham do check out their programme of live music and comedy. Probably a good idea to book a table if you want a meal beforehand at this popular venue. A little bit more vegetarian choice would be good.... all seemed to involve falafel one way or another.

Delightful young female servers cheerfully doing their very best to serve mediocre food. Over-cooked Chicken wings, tasteless Mac'n'cheese, acidic coleslaw. The Squid and sweet potato fries were good as was the glass of Merlot. My husband goes to watch football occasionally, however, we decided to pop in for some shared plates on a Saturday night and sat in the room at the back. It was busy so I imagine some people must enjoy the food here. I remember having a sea-food platter here that was excellent so perhaps the Chef needs to examine his cooking skills!

Called in on the off chance we could get a Sunday lunch, it was late in the day but they fitted us in . Food was very good and hot we had the roast chicken, it was very tasty with nice veg , good friendly service, would recommend

We spent our wedding anniversary here and it wasn't at all what we had hoped for. I am happy to pay good money but it has to be for good food, and sadly this was all price and no quality. On top of all that we were given a table that was so dark we couldn't even read the menu. All in all a poor experience.

Three loud televisions with football on should have told us this place has gone downhill. Our group was the only people eating there so service was good. The food was disgraceful. Meat pie with vegetables turned out to be an ok pie but floating in gravy and red cabbage. Asked for some of the gravy to be removed as it was an awful lot, and it was returned with no gravy. Fish and chips was the large portion. It was two mouthfuls 5 inches x two inches and half an inch thick and was tasteless. So were the chips. Burgers were basic and small. Samosas tasteless although we were not charged for them as they not presented until other meals had been finished. In the past have enjoyed meals at the Limes but now a complete waste of time and money.

Went for mid week treat as we rarely eat burgers, “ WOW” absolutely fabulous food. We both had burgers with a pan of loaded fries, Awsome! If your in Faversham and you want a burger meal head for the “Limes”, you won’t be sorry. ENJOY!

Paige our waitress was outstanding and her service made up for her other colleagues that lacked customer service. Food was perfect. Drinks came quickly. But as a big table and paying a lot of money it would have been nice to have been served with a smile. Pale looking girl, was miserable and extremely rude. Making myself and my family feel very uncomfortable. Please sack her or give her staff training !!

After a little retail therapy, we opted to pop in for a drink on a Sunday around 2.30ish. Very loud when we walked in to the bar with both TVs blaring out football. We tried to get a table in the next room but either occupied or had reserved on them. Went outside - horrible area to have a drink in a car park. So went back in and sat in the bar trying to talk to each other to no avail - drank up quick and left

Went for a meal with friends, the food was nice the pub was very loud, we were lucky to have a table in the corner. I wouldn't want to have been near the restaurant entrance as the people from the bar spilled into the restaurant and were standing by tables while people were eating .

Limes menu over the past couple of years has really gone down hill. It consists of mainly burgers and has hardly any reasonably healthy options. Not saying I go out to dinner to be good but sometimes nice clean food is a lovely option to have and not all fried stuff. Such a shame as before she's too k over the menu it was run by a lovely chef with a passion for making fantastic menus

We had dinner here on a recent trip to Faversham. The menu has a good range of pub classics and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food appeared very promptly after ordering and was go h generous and tasty. I had the fish and chips and my husband went with the steak and ale pie. A chocolate brownie to share and a glass of wine finished our night off perfectly. Congratulations to the whole team for a great dining experience.

To make good tea is quite easy but The Limes presented me with the worst cup of tea I have had in many a year. For the princely sum of £2.50 I was presented with a pot of hot water and a tea bag on the side. I protested but the young girl said it would be fine. Probably she never drinks tea. I should have sent the tea making kit back but I proceeded to make the tea myself at the table. The outcome was appalling.

With a lovely beer garden and nicely positioned for the station, the Limes is a great pub with first class food.

Fantastic service from all at The Limes (especially Lauren and Holly Anna) with great buffet food and helpful bar staff. Would definitely recommend as a party venue. AJ MacDuff.

A group of 4 us popped in here, never having been in before. What a find.great find. Lovely service and atmosphere. The food was great and good value. All of us felt we had discovered a place we would definitely be returning to.

Ona day out in Faversham we decided to stop here, nice staff, as it was a good day we went into the small beer garden, nice little sun trap. Cold beers.

We stopped off here for a quick evening bite after a day in Faversham, its just around the corner from the railway station so handy for the trains. The burgers are good and resonably priced. Service was prompt and the beer excellent. Toilets nice and clean. Recommended

Went to The Limes for a last minute family meal. Waitress took drinks order very quickly and arrived soon after. Mains did take a rather long time, but all 6 dinners arrived together, food was hot and all meals were enjoyed. Will definitely go again.

Visited here yesterday for dinner, didn’t book but had seats available. I had the rooster burger and my partner had a Retro burger. Both good and very filling, had a chocolate brownie for dessert (delicious) and had a beer/gin £41. Good food and fair price.

Stopped in for lunch with the family. Clean, spacious pub with plenty of character. We all had different burgers, Decent portions, great tasting food and excellent service from the bartenders Holly and Lauren. Will be back again when we're in the area! 10/10

I visited the limes yesterday with my intention being to stay for a quick pint whilst I waited for the hairdressers to quieten down, was delighted to see Lauren back running the pub as I remembered her from when she previously worked at the pub, true to my memory she was very warm and welcoming and it was excited to hear about the new ideas she had coming up for the pub this summer, I ended up staying all afternoon as I was enjoying myself so much! Had a burger for lunch which was delicious and great value for money, definitely the best burger to be had in Faversham! Overall it was a great experience, go visit Lauren, Holly and the rest of the team you won't be disappointed 5 stars!

Been to The Limes a few times and had great meals, so recommended to our friends, and went on a Saturday night with 8 of us. Ordered 8 starters and 7 turned up with 2 of them wrong. We highlighted this to the waitress and some time later 2 correct starters turned up with one still missing. They admitted the missing starter had not been cooked. At this point I gave up with the starter. The 8 main courses did turn up but some of the group had to wait for their sides to turn up some 5 minutes later. Overal the service was poor and I would not go back there again for food. The manager did apologise but the damage was already done.It ruined a good evening.

Excellent service and excellent food and wine. Music was kept low on background and I was not rushed to order my meal and drink.

A very nice Shepherd Neame pub restaurant in Preston Street,Faversham,I often come here on a Sunday,its advisable to book I have tried various meal and the food was excellent

Used to be a big fan of the limes, will never go back. Went today as a table of 8. Steak was ordered medium came came out blue, the same piece of steak was returned back to me already cut how I left it and it was still extremely rare. The chips if I’m honest I have had better at a kebab. Service was non existent we had one order of drinks when we first got there. Other than that drinks were not offered or mentioned and could get hold of the waitress/waiter. By this time we are all getting a bit frustrated the table has been cleared and the sarcastic waitress after if we had requested the bill or not (hinting for us to leave). The bill arrived and we had been overcharged in several items not impressed at all complexly ruined our Mother’s Day meal defo would not return or recommend !!!

Watch Wales v England, great beer friendly atmosphere. Stay well beyond final whistle despite the result. What more can I say

Had a table booked and got seated ordered drinks quickly . Then food .

Booked a party for March, Holly was friendly, warm and efficient highlighting specifics to make the ‘party’ stress free and enjoyable for all.

Very disappointed with Sunday roast. The meat, beef, was over cooked as were the vegetables and Yorkshire’s. Roast potatoes were burnt. The gravy was greasy. We’d also waited a long time from being seated to our order being taken and then another long wait to being served. The rest of the party had burgers; they said they were edible but nothing special. Ladies toilet needs some TLC and a clean.

I went for a meal with my friend for a catch up and we both decided to go for the steak. When I asked if they did a peppercorn sauce the manager informed me that they don't, however, he arranged that one of the chefs made some and did not even charge me! The meal was absolutely perfect and I will definitely be returning without a doubt :-)

Not very happy with the size of dinners, I had Christmas dinner there twice Friday and the Saturday for two different occasions first time had more veg then anything else hardly any potato’s and meat the brownie I had the first night was hot brownie which was nice and the second time it was cold when it’s ment to be hot, came out with a pudding for gluten free and none of us were gluten free bevshse they ran out of a pudding and didn’t even give us the choice of what to have instead, the gravney was very watery, also I had a port dinner ask for applie sauce and had no apple sauce which goes with pork not very happy.....

My friends and I had the pleasure of having our annual Christmas meal at a The Limes this year. We had such wonderful service from Kevin and his team throughout our time there. The food was exceptional and I was very grateful for how accommodating they were for my vegan diet. The nut roast was exquisite and many of my non vegan friends were keen to try it! A great deal of thought and effort had gone into decorating our table and really added to the festive atmosphere. We were lucky enough to have had a live band playing too, which just made the whole experience even lovelier. Having been to other restaurants in the past for our Christmas meals and having had some poor experiences, I know that my friends and I are keen to make The Limes our new venue of choice for Christmas meals in the future. Thank you once again for all you did!

We enjoyed a lovely light lunch here last week - the staff were wonderful, friendly and helpful! The food was tasty and we really enjoyed the relaxing ambience. Would definitely recommend!

Visited at 4pm sat afternoon .after the brewly tour .

My wife and myself called at The Limes, preston street, faversham today nov 22 for lunch.

Choose fish from the big plate option but ask for it to be grill with no batter also asked to have a salad only to be told they do a garnish only but would ask the chef if it was possible to make a salad which I did get but the size of the fish was about the same as 2 fish fingers.Its such a shame that sheps spent a lot of money modernising the pub but let it down with the quality and variety of food that is offered.

We came here for dinner on a Friday night and shared a couple of starters, had mains and some drinks. Good value for money and the service was good, allowing swaps on the main meals. All the food was good and for a Friday night the restaurant was fairly quiet so it was a good opportunity for a catch up.

My favourite thing is a Sunday roast and boy did the limes do a good one!!! It was delicious! The portions were great very filling ( good variety of meet and veg) and a cracking Yorkshire pudding!

This was recommend and it was excellent the children's meals were very good value, likewise ours, in fact probably one of the best value family meal

Our meal was sadly disappointing here, there was a real lack of healthy options on my menu with most things being fired or incredibly greasy.

I had my 50th birthday celebration in the function room last night and it was completely fabulous. We had a three course meal for over 30 of us and the food was perfect. We were looked after by Kevin, Emily and Sophie and they were just brilliant. I can’t recommend The Limes enough. We’ve always loved it there for dinner but I wouldn’t have wanted my celebration dinner anywhere else. We were allowed music and decorations and having a private room made it more special alongside such high quality food. Thank you to The Limes

Me and my partner with my six month old baby came into the pub after a long journey, extremely thirsty and hungry!

Visited The Limes recently with my colleagues. I have not eaten there before and was found the food surprisingly good. We have 1Kg of chicken wings to share. It was also curry Tuesday and some of us have curries and they are fantastic. All the food on our table were very tasty. Also love the cucumber tonic they do too. The price was reasonable and the place feels relaxing and calm. Will definitely go there again.

We stumbled across this place with everywhere else we walked past fully booked...the food was really nice, we had a bucket of wings and loaded fries, both well done, but the lights were too bright and the radio station playing 90s dance seemed a bit incongruous to the setting. Fair enough it was Friday night and the drinkers in the front bar might want it, but a bit odd sitting and eating in the same environment which could be nice and homely. The food, as I say though, definitely good value.

Visited yesterday for lunch with some work colleagues, working in Faversham we are spoilt for choice on where to visit and the Limes was never one of our top choices. However this visit certainly changed that, the food was lovely.
