Excellent food and service, had the lasagne and Katsu curry both were excellent, busy place good pint and service was excellent. Will be back

So Father’s Day yesterday both myself and wife are 20yr+ veterans and decided to have an afternoon here, tried using my veterans discount card here for food as it’s accepted discount for Greene King pubs, but nope they decide that of all days Father’s Day will not accept veterans cards or discount cards this is disgraceful, then let’s get into price £5.55 for a Madri? Really!! had a half glass of Diet Coke and a glass of wine it cost £9.99 I’m not short of money but when you know your being ripped off it leaves a bad taste. Won’t be back, and b4 you say that’s the current rate for drinks cost of living!! it really is not, Madri is under £5 in all pubs in Moreton this place is ripping people off!

Visited with family for tea , service was quick , food quality for what we paid was excellent, nice ambience and friendly staff .

We were all disappointed with our meals. Mainly burgers with chips both of which were poor quality and tepid. I had a haloumi flatbread with hot honey sauce and the bread had been microwaved and it was too hard to cut never mind chew. I didn’t see it taste any hot honey sauce. We won’t be going back.

Came in on a busy Saturday afternoon. Ordered my food, which I received sooner than I expected.The food was excellent. So this was a great service & the staff were very friendly. Would definitely recommend. I will be coming back for some more!

We booked our annual submariner meal for 27 Saturday 4th November. All I can say is what a fantastic night we all had, the staff are absolutely amazing checking on us at all times making sure all our pre orders were correct, bar and waiting on team went full out even down to table service keeping us all topped up with drinks. Massive shout to the kitchen all food came out perfect and thoroughly enjoyed by all. This is a must visit place friendly helpful and polite team. Really hope the green king head office see the fabulous commitment this team has . See you all soon and thank you again from the submariners family.

Myself & my partner took our grandson for tea, ordered a kids meal which included a pudding & a drink, went back up after the main to order the dessert & was told it needed to be ordered at the same time as the main, no mention that we needed to do this at the timeof orederi , tried to charge an extra £1.49, told them not to bother.

The food has always been great, the staff helpful but the drinks prices are obscene. To charge £ 4.40 for one bottle of VK is almost criminal. This product can be purchased for £1 in any supermarket . I appreciate a reasonable profit but £ 4.40 is obscene

Myself and 22 girls came here for some lunch and drinks before being picked up for a hen do. Marc and Emma were fantastic. Very friendly and attentive. I even asked for some ice for our coach and the gentleman gave us a bag full, as well as some straws and plastic cups, we were so thankful. Also spoke to Gill (from the kitchen) all our food was lovely and very hot. Will definitely be back again. Thank you to the team at the lighthouse

Arrived at the lighthouse in Wallasey village with my family, upon arrival we seen the pay n display , as we got to the pay n display machine a member of staff came out and explained there was a tablet at the end of the bar where we put are car registration in, we ordered are food n drink at the bar within 15 mins are meals arrived, they was well presented and taste amazing staff came back to check we was happy with meals, 5 star service couldn't fault staff definitely be returning

Thought would give it a go as easy and local with the kids but DO NOT GO THERE FOR FOOD!!!! Char grilled tacos that basically had dog meat in them, and then some frozen bit and bobs off the small plate menu…. RANK!

The Lighthouse is a great pub with excellent staff always willing helpful and going above and beyond to ensure a great time ever time I visit. Good for sports and the best beer garden around when the sun shines.

Visited Sunday 13th March with family for a birthday breakfast. Food was delicious, plenty of toast for everyone. Fantastic deal on 2 full breakfasts for £12! Staff couldn’t do enough to help. Highly recommend and felt very at home. We will be back super soon.
