The food was ok although some of the veg was undercooked. The service from our waitress was excellent bit the place wasn't very clean and the decor was looking a bit shabby. Even the signage outside was looking tired, the Welcome sign had letters missing.

Place was very quiet but the staff made for a great atmosphere. Friendly staff good food . Fab. Venue.

Excellent lunch at this pub restaurant overlooking the beach. Well looked after by Amanda, who was spot on with Allergens advice. 3 different meals from a wide selection, and all perfectly cooked & wholesome. Free salad bar & coke refills a bonus. Nice views.

We had a lovely lunch here today and Amanda was brilliant , really helpful and friendly (she deserves herself a free treacle sponge)

What has gone wrong we have eaten at your restaurant in New Brighton and at your other restaurants many times but as my wife said as we were leaving we won't be eating at a Harvester again? Where have all the staff gone? The waiting staff were doing their very best but they were overwhelmed and could not cope. I had scampi and chips and it was barely warm. My wife had fish and chips the chips were hard and again it was barely warm. We had two courses and we were there for over 2 hours my wife waited so long for a cup of tea that in the end she could wait no more and cancelled it. Once you loose loyal customers they fail to return. You must try much harder if you don't want to continue to loose your loyal customers.

We have had lunch once, but usually visit here for a coffee after a morning beach walk. We found food portions were generous and prices reasonable. Coffee from a machine. So it's consistent in terms of taste. Dog friendly.

the rice with beans was cold and there was 4 lots when was expecting two. the sweet potato fries were missing, there was no slaw, no gravy. the cornbread if that was what it was was inedible. the chicken was cold and fatty.

Very good service as the waitress Rachel was attentive, polite and friendly, great food, a tiny bit noisy but that's to be expected around children on a busy Sunday afternoon.

Can't fault the server or the food

Luv this place it's always great. The staff are luvly & the food is fab. We were served by Diego again & everytime he looks after us he's so helpful, funny & treats everybody like he's known them for years. He seems to do a bit of everything & nothing's ever too much for him. He really is an asset to the Derby pool.

Ethan was amazing and so attentive. Thank you for taking care of me. Food was beautifully presented but more importantly tasted beautiful- I’m not a good pic person but I sent a picture! All the other staff were lovely and a lovely view of the beach. Thank you for such a pleasant visit.

We were welcomed at the door and shown to our table which had a lovely view. Our waiter, Diego was charming, friendly and professional. We enjoyed our complementary salad followed by a delicious main meal. We were left in peace to eat our meal, just perfect.

Good food, lovely service but restaurant was very cold

Mediocre experience this evening. Our waitress Ellie was the redeeming feature. Meal was served without the mushrooms, the tomato was dried up and the peas cold. Nice chips though.

We love Harvester and usually go to Bromborough which is always spot on. However…after visiting Wallasey we were extremely disappointed. The poor staff were run off their feet but trying very hard to keep things moving. We had to ask for salad bowls and cutlery etc The salad bar was empty almost the whole time of our visit. Our meal was enjoyable but not a nice relaxed experience at all.

Ellie our server was excellent. Very attentive and very pleasant. Food was great Drinks served as required.

Regulars here and really like the pub area and meals. Tonight we were dissapointed - one of the coldest nights of the year and the lovely fire was off , ordered our meals to be told after there were no bread rolls…. Half the salad bar was missing such as onions, potato salad, pasta…. Only saving grace was the meals themselves were nice. It’s a shame as in a night when it’s clearly not that busy you should look after the few customers that come in. Hopefully a one off but deficiencies should be mentioned at time of service !

Waited over an hour for our food, when it arrived my burgers were so hard you couldn't cut them let alone bite them

Waited 1.5 hours for meals to be served. All food arrived dry and almost cold. Chicken was burnt. Had to send food back. When replacement meal was served, this was too dry and cold. No cutlery offered. Had to go searching for it. Then waited a further 45 minutes for childrens ice cream to come out and ended up leaving before it was served as everyone was too fed up to wait any longer. The prices are extortionate for sub standard food. Avoid.

We had a lovely tapas lunch today when catching up with my sister. We had terrific service from Tracey, who was great and really helpful. Food was really nice.

Had the dullest dish, not sure where the chef did his training! My plate was like the scraps of veg/salad sprinkled on my flatbread. The food has deteriorated year on year. Disappointing. They also need to fix flusher on disabled toilet, it's barely accessible and hard to flush. See pic.

The place was bloody freezing, no heating on at all, it was 6 degrees outside but felt colder inside the place. Never been to a place where people were eating food with their coats on and fully fastened up.

2 salads were missing! After calling the restaurant we were told by the manager Paul Kipps it doesn't matter because said salads were "free" with the meal. So according to general manager Paul Kipps we are not due any salad. Paul tried to convince me of this supposed fact several times but I could not agree and still don't. We paid for salad and expect salad. Thumps down for Paul, otherwise the food was good.

Love this pub. Amazing view out over the sea, plenty of veggie options and delicious free salad bar. Diego has been our waiter a few times now (we keep coming back!) and he's so lovely and friendly as well as really quick and attentive. Great atmosphere and just an overall great pub.

Our server Ellie was the shining light. Ordered off the Christmas menu, all acceptable, worth the price. Room was a bit cold.

Took my 98 year old mother out to lunch. We had excellent service from Matt. Food was excellent especially the rotisserie chicken.The staff went above and beyond. Would highly recommend.

We sat down at 6:16 and waited 10mins for the waiter, he took the drinks order and we had to wait a further 15 mins for him to come back to take the food order, twice went to check if some of the menu were still available. Some wanted jacket potatoes but was they wouldn’t have any for 40 minutes. He took the order but came back and said there wasn’t any chicken now. Took ages for the food to arrive and it wasn’t very hot, couldn’t find him to complain. He only came back for the dessert order. Salad was okay but no thousand island dressing and only white rolls.

Alicia was our server. She was very attentive and met all our needs especially with one of the children who had an allergy to nuts

Great place to visit for lunch or dinner, with fantastic views out across Leasowe Bay and the Irish Sea . Always lovely food with great service by staff. Getting your food can take a little longer than usual when the restaurant is busy, so bare that in mind.

This occasion at this establishment was an amazing experience. The server we had, Amanda, was an excellent host for our family table. They made sure we had everything we needed and checked on us numerous times throughout each course. The pudding was delicious. The glazed choux bun was delicious and light despite its heavy appearance. The salad bar, a staple in my opinion in any harvester, was as delicious as it has always been. Thank you for another great night. Here’s to many more!
