What a beautiful place! The staff here are so so lovely you made our day. Could not have been more helpful or welcoming - lovely cappuccino and toast and special sausages for my friend's dog! - Thank you all so much. Would recommend to anyone in the area. All the gold stars.

We called in for directions and next minute waitress called Gwenda was very good that we ended up staying for food and drinks and left very happy

Ordered a couple of ribeye sizzling and double cheese bacon burger. Sizzling not hot swimming in what looked like boiled onions ,lots of fluids my steak had no flavour it tasted like it had been boiled rather than fried , peas cold chips Luke warm . I left 3/4 of it very disappointed

We had a lovely evening with the family at the Harvest Mouse. The atmosphere is friendly, the food is delicious, and the service is great. A special mention to Gwenda, who was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend for a great meal or just a relaxing drink with family and friends. We’ll definitely be back!

But one get one free on a pretty decent burgers on Thursday, lovely and a pint of carling. My pal Connor got a steak an ale pie which he thoroughly enjoyed. He actually loudly exclaimed “what a great pie this is “ PS - curry sauce on the chicken strips was to die for

I was so disappointed with the roast dinner on Sunday, everything was warmed up, roasties were white, Yorkshire pudding wasn’t crispy at all(warmed up) would not recommend sorry

Went in today (2/3/25). Our food was really good. Ordered the Millionaire burger and scampi. Everything was hot and the service was spot on. Pub was relatively quiet at the time but had a lot of bookings later in the afternoon. Cracking pub.

Go there every Monday afternoon to play Mah Jong. Staff always very pleasant and welcoming. Nice atmosphere. Had a Xmas lunch there with my group - and very nice it was too! Would definitely recommend.

Just been back for a meal and i have to be honest, this is the BEST pub/restaurant on the Wirral. Food was amazing, staff are all lovely accommodating and second to none, the atmosphere was both lively and relaxing. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place. My absolute favourite place to go and unwind.

1st time for us but won't be returning. 2 mains for £13 something, a great price but awful fish an the scampi was scampi bites. Cheap food but expensive drinks an a disappointing interior no sign of the windmill! Chaps serving were pleasant a lots of sky sports tv's

Popped in for drinks at our local pub. I went to the bar where there was a pint of Guinness already poured standing by the pumps but on the bar waiting for someone to pick it up? I ordered my own pint of Guinness, before it was fully poured the bar person said do you want to take that one? indicating to one already on the bar, I replied NO and waited for my pint. I cant believe in this day and age of drink security I was being offered a pint that had already been standing on the bar unattended. Later I ordered a Brandy no mixer and again like my last review it was put into a half pint glass...nothing learnt there ! And I must mention while I,m on here your stairwell and coridoor up to the toilets and the Gents toilets all needs decorating, its letting down an otherwise smart pub. Any sign of the windmill vanes being replaced ?

We went as a family last night for a meal and it was absolutely beautiful. They catered for all our needs food was spot on I really enjoy coming here for a meal with my family the pudding pics was from last time we was there as had to share a pic of how nice they were

Well what a smashing place this is. We didn't expect the beautiful interior, but here it is. A lovely atmosphere and delicious food. The flame grilled burgers are so tasty! Service with a smile from the lovely Gwenda..we will definitely be coming back here again

Had the fish and chips with curry sauce. Definitely recommend. Fish was perfectly crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Decent size too. Curry sauce is also highly recommended with it.

We went today 26th October at lunchtime, it was 13c outside, the front 2 doors were wedged fully open all the time we were there, with the cold draft from outside our food quickly went cold.

A very friendly and enjoyable pub to visit, with a good food menu and pleasant atmosphere (families are made welcome). Pool table available and televisions broadcast Sky Sports - football, golf, boxing events. Comfortable seating and tables for customers and staff are very attentive. Seems to be very popular and professionally maintained. Highly recommended.

We all had a great time the service was excellent, staff were very helpful. The meals came promptly and were very good. Food was plentiful, cooked well. We will come again. We would like to give Gwelda a special mention as she was very attentive. G,A,M and L

Went with family for Sunday lunch. Husband had the mixed grill and said it was lovely. I had Sunday dinner which was also lovely., sons steak was cooked perfectly for him. We booked a private area for my mum's wake on 19th . We booked with Georgia a few weeks before and nothing was too much trouble . There was a great selection of food to choose from and we wanted a free bar . Again nothing was too much trouble . On the day , family and friends arrived and there was coffee and tea for them and the free bar was up and running . We went upstairs to the balcony area and all family and friends gathered there . The food came out very quickly and we were very impressed with the quality and variety . Food was in a separate area . Every one thoroughly enjoyed the food . The quality was great . Thankyou to all the staff who took care of us including the ones we did not see in the kitchen . What was a sad day was made a lot easier thanks to all the staff . we went for burgers on thursday as they have a two for one offer.everybody really enjoyed the food, some of us added a second burger as they were that good. every body was full and i didnt need anything for my tea apart from some chocolate.

This place was lovely, with nice settings and just felt warm and welcoming. The food was good, reasonably priced, and was quite fast. Decided to try to Carolina Reaper Wings, hot indeed but do-able he...he...he. The staff were very friendly and accommodating.

A nice looking pub from greene king with great staff and service. We got the chick n mix for £10.99. It was OK but a little dry if im honest, but good value. It wasn't very busy and the atmosphere was good. Would return but I would try something else.

The food is really good for pub food, not bad priced, can't faut it at the moment, and the staff are really helpful & friendly. This is always our go to pub.

Visited for the first time Monday evening for some food. Not sure we'll be back unless something changes. Not sure if we caught them at a bad time but as a former employee of the company for 8 years, the food we received, the time it took, and the work ethic or lack of from one particular barman, would suggest to me this is the standard. We ordered a chicken mix, cheese burger, juice and coke. Food took 25 minutes during a relatively quiet Monday night where it would seem the majority of customers where drinkers. Not sure what the liquour/food split is here and if this was a one off. Knowing the business and industry, I try my best to be sympathetic and understanding. A very rarely complain knowing the hard work that goes into providing your customers the very best. But when you have to, you have to. After waiting 25 minutes, our food came, we where both given half a portion of fries, burger bun was microwave hard not toasted or even just soft. Chicken nuggets and skewer where black. Either overcooked, hot held far too long or oil was overdue a cascade. Garlic bread had caught under the grill, black all around. After complaining to the barman who originally served us the poor food and who spent the duration of our visit watching the football, picking his nose and ear when basics weren't being done, emptys left on the bar, check back not done, basics. He asked what part was burnt, in the most genuinely respectful way possible we said all of it. It was visibly obvious what was burnt. Food came back out from the young girl who was lovely, unfortunately the chef must not have got the message, same few fries as last time which had now gone cold, garlic bread still burnt but hidden underneath a piece less burnt. Ate what we could because we where hungry, had planned for desert too, fudge cake from flaming grill is next level compared to competitors. Didn't bother in the end, wanted to leave. Such a shame how the standards, or lack of from a few impact the reputation of the business and no doubt the hard work and effort from the rest of the team.

I really enjoyed The Harvest Mouse, and the foods and drinks were really, really nice, and I have enjoyed my tea, pudding, two pints of Peroni and a pint of Coke.

Always visit here with my grandad, always brilliant food and excellent prices. Both of us always leave very happy!

We came last night whilst the England game was on. I didn't expect to get a table or that the food was being served but luckily we did and it was . We both ordered chicken fillet burger as they do bogof on the standard burgers on a Thursday. Both meals were presented and where soon gobbled quickly We then ordered pudding which consisted of chocolate Sunday and apple pie and custard which was quite possibly the nicest apple and custard I've ever eaten pleasant staff and a pleasant atmosphere they also pour a nice pint of peroni

I have been many times and I have absolutely loved going to my local pub, staff and everyone is so lovely! I play the Quizzes on a Sunday and sometimes watch the football! The atmosphere for both events is amazing!

Absolutely fantastic service and a lovely location. Staff are always friendly and very welcoming, food was beautiful quick and exactly as described. Regularly bring the kids and they love it here happy to sit nicely and eat their food with no fuss.
