Always visit here with my grandad, always brilliant food and excellent prices. Both of us always leave very happy!

We came last night whilst the England game was on. I didn't expect to get a table or that the food was being served but luckily we did and it was . We both ordered chicken fillet burger as they do bogof on the standard burgers on a Thursday. Both meals were presented and where soon gobbled quickly We then ordered pudding which consisted of chocolate Sunday and apple pie and custard which was quite possibly the nicest apple and custard I've ever eaten pleasant staff and a pleasant atmosphere they also pour a nice pint of peroni

Second time eating here now, lovely food good size potions. Staff were friendly and approachable, overall great atmosphere and will be returning

Call in just by chance, greeted at the bar by very friendly staff, ordered the Roast dinner and a drink. excellent service and a delicious meal. Very friendly atmosphere Highly recommend

I have been many times and I have absolutely loved going to my local pub, staff and everyone is so lovely! I play the Quizzes on a Sunday and sometimes watch the football! The atmosphere for both events is amazing!

Food is absolutely delicious, to a point were we're waiting for our food to go down even as we write this, so we can eat the remainder of the meal and not leave feeling guilty about leaving such exceptional food. Staff and atmosphere very friendly and welcome with great service. Will definitely be returning, many thanks for such great service, atmosphere and food.

Absolutely fantastic service and a lovely location. Staff are always friendly and very welcoming, food was beautiful quick and exactly as described. Regularly bring the kids and they love it here happy to sit nicely and eat their food with no fuss.

Been twice in the last week as our dog was attending the vet’s. The staff are so warm and lovely, the pub looks fantastic inside. We visited again last night before we were taking our beloved dog to be put to sleep and the compassionate and empathy from the girl behind the bar was so lovely, I felt I needed to do a review. We will never forget how lovely you were to us and our little pug Marshall. Will definately be returning once our broken hearts are mended. Keep up the great work, sorry I didn’t catch your name. Just come back from a fantastic lunch at the Harvest Mouse. The staff on the bar were so welcoming and friendly. I ordered the chicken and rib combo and when it came I thought oh my gosh it’s huge just for me but I ate the lot as it was so nice I couldn’t leave a bite! The half chicken was cooked and seasoned beautifully and the ribs were cooked to perfection! The meat fell off the bone so compliments to the chef for a fantastic meal! Nothing was too much trouble as having a fussy 3 year old all she wanted was carrot sticks and then strawberries and ice cream and the chef made her a special little bowl of carrot sticks and then a bowl of strawberries and ice cream was made so thank you to you all for making a fussy 3 year old happy. Overall the harvest mouse is a fantastic place to go and I would recommend you try this pub out if your in the area!

Food was very nice & at a very good price.. staff were friendly and helpful. Plenty of parking spaces. called in again yesterday service was a bit on the slow side but the food was still excellent. plenty to choose from on the menu & a few offers like BOGOF burgers of buy one get one free cocktails.

We go with our little fur baby as she is made really welcome. Hayley and the team are very friendly, great service and excellent value. Just about had room for a delicious pud

I don't normally write bad reviews but I think if you don't say something, nothing will improve. We'd been here many times in the past and even celebrated our anniversary in the car park during lockdown when we couldn't go inside pubs. We went for a Sunday roast. Yorkshire pudding, usually my favourite, and the "stuffing" tasted as if it had been cooked in old oil 🤢 Mashed potato seemed to be yesterday's. We were the first customers in the place. On a positive note, the veg was lovely, as was the gravy. The guy who served us was also very friendly and helpful. That's why it got 2 stars. I don't think I'll be back unless it's just for a drink

The best food as usual,never fails to disappoint,staff are kind and informative as well and overall it’s a great place.

Really surprised when we arrived as to just how quiet the pub was. We had booked a table in advance but were told to sit wherever we felt comfortable as there was lots of space. My other half ordered a mixed grill. Unfortunately, they were out of Sausage so he received another piece of chicken instead (winner!!). My Beef rib was excellent, very soft and I could have cut it with a spoon!! The staff were very attentive and chatty and eager to upsell dessert. I already had my eye on the Lotus biscuit cheesecake but sadly I was too full to indulge!!! Had a lovely experience here, a nice clean pub, no extortionate waits for food and quite possibly the longest Chesterfield couch ever!!!

Steak fondu for 2 was a delight, steak cooked as requested and camembert complemented perfectly 👌 Lovely staff and a cheeky watch of the football was a treat.

Clean pub with great facilities, live sports and pool table. Always friendly service and a decent menu that is affordable. Good selection of beers available. If you are looking for a friendly family pub for a meal a visit to Harvest Mouse won't let you down. especially Gwenda who can't do enough for you.

We went as a party of 5 all ordered the same time but 4 got their food after a bit of a wait but i didn't get mine one friend went to the bar to ask where my food was and was told its coming now by this time everyone had eaten their food but i was still waiting i eventually got it after everyone had eaten their dessert the girl did give me a free drink the food was excellent but it was a bit uncomfortable eating when everyone had finished

Had a pit stop here from our journey away. Ordered 2 meals that were brought to us within 5 minutes. All Cooked well and hot. I must say was really nice. You get what you pay for in these establishments and for a quick meal and pretty tasty it was really worth it too. The pub is clean and has sports on the TV. Very friendly staff which is always a bonus.

We came here for lunch with the family but my mum and dad visit regularly. Lovely venue, really warm and cosy, great atmosphere and friendly service. Dinner was ace, well priced and great portions. Jenny always has patience with us and is so kind and polite. Lewis is an absolute Gem. He never fails to accommodate everything we need - he goes out of his way to make sure we’re ok and remembers what we’ve said on previous visits, checking in if we’re ok. Gwenda served us with a smile. Fab lunch, thanks so much for making us feel so welcome.

Food was awful, luke warm when it arrived at the table , steak was overcooked, dry and chewy. Woman behind the bar wasn’t the friendliest and borderline rude. Such a shame as it’s been a few years since I last visited this establishment and I couldn’t fault it and was looking forward to revisiting, won’t be coming back anytime soon after all this

Gwenda was great, arranging the perfect table for us and my elderly grandparents, couldn’t do enough for us and has done on several occasions. We come as it is close to the care home and she has been great at making it a stress free trip

Lovely meal , and helpful staff

Had a fantastic afternoon here today for the Paul McCartney tribute act. The 3 course 10.99 meal was great, not the largest of menu choices in the deal but the normal menu is also available. The food, service and entertainment were fabulous we will be back.

We had a wonderful sunday lunch here, ordered a variety of food between us and all of it arrived hot, one of our party ended up having to tend to a work call and they kept his food hot while he was outside on the call! Gwenda was excellent and sorted his food out for when he returned to the table! Great service, we’ll be back

On arrival @11am we were told there was no coffee until 11:15 and no food until 11:30. Why open at 11 and not serve until 11:15? The menus were all covered in greasy marks and didn’t seem to have cleaned for ages. Each coffee cup was carried individually with no saucer which meant two of us ended up with drops of coffee on our clothes. It took quite a while for them to come too. Someone tried to clear items away before we had finished. We’ve been to a few greene kings and they’ve always been good but sorry to say we won’t be coming to this one again

I've been back a few times now. I've only had drinks here, but next time, I will try out the food as it looked pretty good coming out of the kitchen. Loads of parking and outdoor seating, friendly knowle6dge staff run a good bar, and prices are about right for the area.

Food was absolutely disgusting, chicken was sloppy and bright pink on all 3 meals. Never again. Loads of thing on the menu where not on, very limited choice.

Looked on line for dog friendly pubs on The Wirral and the Harvest Mouse came up, decided to book online to bring our dog Charlie to celebrate his 11th birthday as he has cancer and we take each day as it comes. Staff on arrival were all friendly and welcoming, could sit where we wanted and looked at the menus. My husband decided on the XL grill (so Charlie could have some steak and chicken) I opted for the double stack burger. On arrival we were pleasantly surprised by the quantity, presentation and quality. We both said our meals were the nicest pub meals we have had for a long time. Price was very reasonable and the atmosphere was warm and friendly. We definitely will return and highly recommend. Best wishes for 2024

Seven of us went to the Harvest mouse for our Christmas dinner, we all had a great experience! I can not fault anything. The place was busy, as you can expect on Christmas Day and yet the service was amazing, the food was excellent and the staff were friendly and very welcoming. I can not recommend the Harvest Mouse enough. We will definitely book again next Christmas. Thank you to you all for giving up your Christmas Day to make ours perfect.

4 family members were here for Christmas dinner. The meal was vile , it was inedible, the worst meal I have ever had in over 60 years. It cost over £200 pounds and was a total disgrace. None of us ate it. My husband thought the potatoes were mushrooms, they were tiny and black ! Disgusted !!

Really great. Went tonight for the first time in a few years. Me and my dad shared the Chicken Platter and a tub of Nachos, both made to perfection. Great service and a nice atmosphere. Will be coming back more often!

The harvest mouse offers a wide variety of food on the menu. The food I had was excellent and very tasty. I also sampled the cocktails which were 2 for 1 as we went after 6 and there was a good range to choose from....
