A spoons in canary wharf with a beer garden, need I say more

Was waiting for 1 hours on food at 7pm when pub was not busy

Went for a work gathering. Bar service was slow and yet it wasn't that busy but drinks are great value for London. Nice outside space right by the water.

Very tasty food and good portions. We tried the diverse selection from salad, Indian to pizza to fish and chips. We were there on Friday between 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. The calm and good atmosphere was characterized by a well-kept and mixed audience.

Bit dirty, untidy, not a lot of selections on the cocktail menu, ok for a very quick stop...

Couldn't fault it. If you're looking for an inexpensive dining experience in Canary Wharf, I'm guessing nowhere would beat this 'Spoons. Two main meals including a glass of wine and a real ale, two desserts, two shots and four cocktails for £66, all adds up to fantastic value. If you're a fan of spicy food try to chicken shwarma wrap with Naga chilli - it doesn't hit you immediately, but is definitely a tingler.

Excellent breakfast for a great price

Visited Sunday afternoon, tables not cleaned, queue at the bar, staff chatting by the food area, while we wait to be served! Tables still not cleaned after 30 mins, took glasses, plates etc to bar and asked for a cloth to clean myself! Used to be a pleasure to come here but definitely going in a downward spiral.

Even in Canary Wharf Wetherspoons maintains the low standards every other Spoons does. Uncleared tables that are sticky. We were a party of 4, orders starters and mains. They were all served at the same time and every dish was lower than Luke warm. The Steak & Kidney Pudding looked like it had been prepared by a welder ! It was as hard as iron, nearly cold and the suet resisted well to a knife. The gravy in the tiny gravy boat was also cold and that too resisted well to being poured. It's gelatinous consistency prevented it from leaving the boat. As a Northerner, gravy HAS to be right...this was hideous. Would we eat here again ? Definitely............NOT !!!!

It was a meeting point for our group so we only stayed for a couple of drinks. Plenty of choice and reasonable prices for that area. Outside area was very nice and luckily it was a sunny day. Plenty of room indoors and outdoors

A great spoons. Very spacious with amazing toilets. They won toilet of the year 2025! We had jacket potatoes with a soft drink which came to just over £10 each. Amazing value and right next door to the London Docklands Museum.

It's a Weatherspoons so the beer and food were affordable, even though it is in the East India Dock.

Very busy, no staff. Tables were dirty for ages, asked someone about clearing them and they did half a job.... left like 8 dirty glasses. Drinks took nearly 15 minutes and food was freezing cold. Usually enjoy a little trip there but this time was very disappointing sadly.

Love this spoons so much. Come here everyday after work with friends. Amazing staff. Special shout out to Leonie who helped find my phone today when I left it outside. Top tier staff. Thank you so much

Buy a coffee ☕ for £1.7 with unlimited cups. Interesting place in the busy area of Canary Wharf. Generally most of the pubs are small, when this place has more than 5 rooms and a very big hall. You can have breakfast for £5 with unlimited cups of drink (including coffee) for £1.7. I recommend this place for coming with groups, especially after a morning run, and chatting with meals. I visited the place with friends after the weekly group run. I found this place interesting. Next time I want to visit for watching the sport games. Good atmosphere, close to water, place indoors and outside. I really recommend this place.

Food was slow and very dry like it'd been left under the heat lamp for far too long. My panini might've been toasted but it was rock hard like it had been left under the heat lamp for too long, and dry oh so dry. The chips were a little weird like they weren't cooked properly and the wings were dry like they'd been left under a heat lamp too long, and were not even remotely hot despite me having paid extra for the naga sauce. Cheap but bad. Avoid!

Visitamos Wetherspoons como nuestro ir a pub y comer fuera muy regularmente. Hoy mi pareja pidió el pescado pequeño con papas fritas (cambiado por una papa de chaqueta) y yo tenía curry. Me sorprendió lo que surgió tan pequeño como era apenas el tamaño y la forma de 2 dedos de pescado, si eso. Ella pide esto en otras cucharas Wetherspoons pero esto fue decepcionante. Debería haber preguntado en ese momento, pero ella no quería un alboroto. Mirando hacia atrás debería haberlo devuelto. El resto de la comida no fue ningún problema. Por favor, mire qué tamaño de filetes de pescado está vendiendo como pescado pequeño a los clientes. Gran garrapata para los baños de mujeres.

Bellissimo pub, ha una zona esterna con dei tavolini scoperti e una zona interna al chiuso. Da fuori non si vede ma dentro ha due enormi sale, puoi ordinare al tavolo oppure puoi prenderti le cose da bere e mangiare dentro al banco e portartele al tavolo. Se non piove fuori di sta benissimo.

Beautiful pub, it has an outdoor area with uncovered tables and an indoor area. You can't see it from the outside but inside it has two huge rooms, you can order at the table or you can get your drinks and food at the counter and take them to your table. If it's not raining outside it's fine.

Classic example of English Pub with a larger perspective

Standard Wetherspoons, good food, affordable and clean.

Came to order some breakfast, upon ordering I said the wrong table number. Came back to the server who I spoke to in the first place and corrected it with in 20 seconds. I then waited for half an hour before asking where my food was. The original food that I ordered had been sat out under a hot lamp for near 30 minutes and they still attempted to serve this plate. Asking me to try it first and if it wasn't up to standard they would change it? Surly that isn't acceptable? Find the missing table when food is sat in the window is what I was always under the impression of. Left me hungry and very annoyed.

Nice pub good for large gatherings. Getting served at the bar van be difficult at times.

Really nice inside,but sat outside in the Sun... yes you did read that correctly, had a few drinks after building up a sweat in fairgame over the bridge. Nice real ales & another spoons done will definitely come back.

One of the best Wetherspoons in London or probably the best. Plenty of sunlight, big rooms plenty of tables and sofas. They serve the commonly demanded english breakfast at a very competitive price, great grilled meat dishes, the well known Battered Cod, Pizzas, burgers and many other dishes along with beers and free refills of coffee.

This is a great place with a nice location. The ambiance is pleasant, and the view adds to the experience. Perfect spot to relax and enjoy good food!

Was busy when we arrived fir lunch but food arrived quickly. Somehow it was not piping hot but hot enough and tasted fine. Place emptied out quite a bit so must have been local workers returning to their offices. Building is historic.

Cheap beer on the wharf is a rare thing. Fantastic building with lots of room and the usual Wetherspoons cheap beer.

Family, friends, nice and simple Waterstone-like

Brilliant place! It had the same name as me, which was a surprise. Like any Wetherspoon, it's decent. Had a lot of 'beware of pickpockets' signs.

The food always tastefull and in good price! Lot of options in food and beers of course🤩love it!

Lovely old building near canary wharf, one of the best wetherspoons imo, views of the buildings and towers nearby, not far from the hustle and bustle and near the water, lovely pit stop when you're up that way

Great pub unfortunately food was cold

The 2 duty managers working on 7th January 2025 displayed poor attitudes and behaved in an extremely unprofessional manner.

Ordered the Gourmet steak 🥩 dinner & had to ask for a steak knife, all served on a cold plate & I’m sure they got the chips out of the Fridge, not even tepidly warm, completely inedible! EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED! Have been here previously and everything was good, gone completely down hill. NEVER again would I eat here terrible..

Terrific pub, prices food and service

Have to order via QR code. Food is mediocre at best, bad in most cases. The atmosphere is sad and unpleasant. The staff is pleasant. Still, It was a mistake to come in. I do not recommend it.

The ambience of an airport lounge. Pleasant enough if it Doesn't represent the same value for money as other spoons but it's still cheaper than other Canary Wharf wallet scrapers

Myself and The Chemistry Teacher really enjoyed our visit here. I ate pizza, and he had steak. Both were delicious. The window seat was divine, the staff friendly, attentive, and the award winning toilets were great. Perfect. Thank you 😊

A very nice building and interestingly antiquated interior. For a chain it even has a certain individual charm.

My favourite Wetherspoons and well worth going out of your way to use. I was just wondering if the heating was broken on Sunday night. It was freezing and everybody were wearing coats?

Great historic building setting for extensive menu and drinks and lots of rooms and niches to discover with friends family or business meetings.

Good, busy spoons. One of the best spoons I've been too. Service was quick, place was clean and well designed. Lovely view of the canal outside. Highly recommend this place

I was in the toilet when food was dropped off at the table-we had ordered food and was waiting for it when a waitress propped the food on the table and quickly disappeared. We then had another colleague come over and ask about the food which by this point I had not long been back from the toilet, we had inspected the burger and eaten a onion ring he mentioned that the waitress is new and made a mistake. he was polite and apologetic but said that we should just keep the plate( due to hygiene it shouldn’t of been given to anyone else anyway) 3 minutes later another male (staff)storms over and tells us that the plate was for him he explains that they waitress is new but he wants us to pay for the food…. And that it was his food.. (I can understand that he’s frustrated but the mistake was theirs and after speaking to 2 people the 3rd didn’t really need to have an attitude).He took the plate back which is fair enough.. The bar staff that served us was polite and some were smiling but some had no urgency at all- place is big, nice decor, nice toilets and busy. It would be nice if there were heaters outside ! But was nice place to have a drink although on the expensive side!!

Very rude staff.. lacking some basic customer service skills

This is a great pub that we go to frequently after work as a team but we had a really unpleasant experience with the security people last night who picked on one of our female colleagues of making a light hearted comment to them after being asked to move her bag from the floor, I was then subjected to agest comments from the security guy when I asked him to ease up! Not what we expected on our Christmas night out.

It does serves the cheapest drinks around. Can get busy of Thursdays.

Absolutely a brilliant beautiful building. So spacious. You will always find a place to sit. More expensive than your local spoons it being canary wharf. But far cheaper than any of the pubs around.

Nice. Quite big inside. 1 coffee machine was not working. Breakfast was fine, but slightly cold. Your standard spoons in a good location.

It is a Wetherspoons The big down are the security staff and their fixation of moving you away from the bar

Nice to find a pub type atmosphere within Canary wharf now, trust Wetherspoon to accomodate that. The prices are great but thats not the main attraction for me its the anbience. Did not eat here but the meals coming out looked great and I suspect a fraction of the price we were heading to.

Amazing atmosphere and splendid grub. Stumbled across this enchanting docklands beanery whilst on the hunt for scram with my best buddies and the toad was most certainly in the hole and it felt magical!

Very nice staff. The pub was lovely, with amazing toilets. Lots of seating, with the choice to sit by the bar or in a separate area. Nice little garden out front. Staff was very apologetic after being charged twice and was quickly refunded. BEWARE: Signs all over warning about leaving your bag, so must be an issue. Don't let your bag out of your sight.

Honestly, I only had a cider pint… I can’t say much about the food. The place itself have an amazing atmosphere for a pub and the toilet is modern and huge! Location also helps for those close to Camary Whard. I didn't take many pictures. Maybe next time! 😅😉

Friday night in Canary wharf so it was busy. Ordered via app and food came fairly quickly and was ok. Staff busy and not so cheerful.

Un bien situado wetherspoons con una rica historia desde el propio edificio. A pocos pasos de la parte principal del muelle canario. A un precio razonable para Londres y genial para la familia. La comida y la bebida son buenas, y el personal parecía estar en la pelota. Gran lugar para tomar una copa en el verano.

El desayuno era frío, especialmente los huevos fritos. Esto resultó en mi amigo y yo con malestar estomacal. Toda la experiencia fue desagradable. El edificio real es hermoso.

One of my favourite spoons. Just a little below par today. Longish wait for app orders and tables that hadn't been cleared before we arrived still hadn't been cleared 45 mins later

Beware if you visit here! I came to this pub for a short visit in August and had my bag stolen from right next to me in the outside seating area with £1500 value of items inside. There was security staff who checked my bag when I entered stationed at the entrance less than 10 metres from where I was sitting and the area was well lit, this did not deter the thief from operating here and stealing my property. My iPad is now tracked via Find My app to a shop in Algeria selling stolen goods.

I eat there in a Saturday afternoon which was very busy and noisy. The pub itself was interesting especially the ladies. Food and service is good at most Wetherspoons.

We sat inside today as the weather wasn't too good, very windy. Just had a drink there this time. Always like going back to this pub.🙂

Huge pub with cheap prices and good coffee

We come here for the much loved cheap breakfast of the weekends. I've given a good review in the past but this time Im afraid isn't going to be good. We arrived around 10.30 and the seating area of where we was sat had food debris all over It, The table had been cleaned before we sat down so we knew it hadn't been cleaned properly after the last customers. My friends breakfast which was the egg Benedict sadly the hollandaise sauce bag which they microwave or eat up the sauce in the clipping of the bag had made it's way into the serving sauce on the plate and ended up in my friends mouth. When I complained the staff handled it very well with the waiter apologised and offered a refund and a replacement of the meal. This time sadly a bad review and experience but it won't stop us from coming.
