The Landing Place absolutely 1st class! Lukas and Joe could not do more to make our lunch experience better. The Haddock and chips were huge with lovely crispy batter and moist fish. The King Prawn and Mussel in Coconut and Chilli broth was incredible and so delicious! The views over the sea kept us gazing for nearly 2 hours….. and to finish off, just look ate this dessert !

The two of us went for dinner to celebrate our 40th Wedding Anniversary and had a wonderful experience… First we were greeted by Hannah, who gave us such a warm welcome & found us a great table with sea view. We were then served by Chelsea, who went out of her way to make the evening a big success. The food served was imaginative & of the highest standard (the beetroot Gravlax was exquisite!) .. In fact, all staff are excellent, as we’ve visited for lunch before and the service cannot be faulted. Prices are reasonable, especially for the high standard of food … the ambience is great and the sea views beautiful. Highly recommended. Thank you all x

I vistited The Landing Place with my wife, sister and brother in law and we all had a really lovely time. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. Hannah and the young man (apologies I cannot recall his name), were so helpful and looked after us wonderfully. The food was delicious and I particularly loved the venison & prune terrine and the surf and turf, with the steak being cooked perfectly medium-rare, as requested. The cocktails (Margaritas) and the wine were also excellent. Thank you very much to the restaurant and we hope to visit again in the not too distant future.

Lovely venue with triffic views out over the sea. We had first and main courses plus cocktails and several glasses of wine, bill came to just over £200 with service. Surf and turf was very good, highly recommend.

Came here over the weekend and have to say it was excellent, from the minute we arrived to the time we left it was excellent, food was top notch and risotto was out of this world as was the prawn linguini

We were extremely disappointed given the good reviews . We thought the restaurant lacked atmosphere , the acoustics are poor creating a noisy environment. Some of the food was ok but some very unacceptable … the Tender stem broccoli was so tough a knife couldn’t cut it . The Pork chop was v tough and the peach desert also could have been apple ! It was not a cordon blue experience ! The waiter seemed v inexperienced . It was not what we expected for an expensive night out with friends . Maybe it’s ok for large groups of younger people but not for us . Wouldn’t recommend you waste your money and we will not be returning .

We have visited over 10 times since it opened as a couple with a large group and recently on Mothers Day always excellent. All the staff are friendly and conscience. The food is consistently good and reasonably priced. The decor inside and views outside are the best in Bognor Regis. We'll done and looking forward to our next visit. Steve

Had heard lots of great things about this restaurant so was disappointed. The restaurant itself is very nicely decorated with a view across the sea. The staff were very attentive but the food could have been better. Only 2 fish dishes on the menu. The batter was overdone on the haddock. The knickerbocker glory was far from glorious! Copious amounts of cream, one scoop -if that-of chocolate ice cream and no fruit. Personally I won’t be rushing back.

Great views,limited menu. I really wanted steak so asked for ribeye. Asked what sauce does it come with and told none! You get a salsa and fries. £30 no sauce no thank you. Had the clam and bacon chowder starter very nice,then fish and chips (average)

Today my friend & I have just had a wonderful lunch experience at the Landing Place What a tasteful venue, beautiful decor + panoramic sea views. Lovely efficient service from our waitress Amelia, and interesting, informative conversation with the owner. For starters I had a posh prawn cocktail bursting with lots of juicy crab, prawns, avocado purée and the most amazing zingy sea herb garnish, which was a true taste sensation. I had to google it straight after… My main was the plaice meunière, dripping in seasoned melted butter and garnished with crispy brown shrimp. Moist and cooked to perfection, with sprouting broccoli and way too many buttery new potatoes alongside. Dessert was a peach and raspberry Melba, fresh and tart, minimal sugar, and a scoop of sorbet on top. I had 3 delicious courses and a glass of crisp NZ Cabernet Sauvignon, yet I walked away without having to loosen my belt. Light, refreshing and ever so tasty! I will be back😁

We had a disappointing time there last time we went, about 4 months ago, but now it was considerably better. The menu was greatly improved, and the quality of the food was very good. All four of us enjoyed our meals. And the service was also so much better. The waitress who looked after us was knowledgeable about both the food and wine she was serving, and was very courteous throughout. We will recommend it to others.

We came today a big group of us. The service was fantastic they couldn’t do enough for you. The food was just amazing. I have got to say it was probably one of the best roasts I have ever had. The beef just melted in your mouth. The roast potatoes were crispy and the veg was great. And it was presented so lovely. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anybody. I will be going back.

This restaurant is fantastic. Warm welcome on the door and fabulous service from all staff. The food was divine. Best fish and chips ever with choice of 3 sauces all cooked from scratch ...the curry sauce was incredible. The cod dish with fennel was also perfectly cooked. All this accompanied by ice cold Poretti and delightful wine. Rounded off with a clever pudding of panacotta, charred pineapple and gorgeous mango sorbet....Highly recommended. Still relatively new....this takes dining in Bognor to new levels. Highly tasteful decor that reflects the location and the best views of the sea from practically every table. Plenty of parking on the street nearby...or short walk from Alexandra Theatre car park....I'll be back!! Thanks to all the staff for an awesome time

First time at The Landing Place. We went for dinner with friends. We all like the atmosphere and the decor of the restaurant. We had the chuck burger and fish and chips. Food was very nice. Was it really really really nice NO! But it was nice. We had a bottle of wine and the bill wasn’t too bad. So average price range. Service was lovely by the waitress who was really nice but the food was slow. Really slow. It took one whole Hour to be served our burger and chips. I also feel that the menu is tiny. I like a small Menu but it’s really tiny. Would I go back? Probably but I wouldn’t be rushing.

Very slow service we booked for 12 noon and did not leave the restaurant until 2.45 having only had 2 courses! The food was good but not exceptional. We had two young children who waited an hour and a half for their meal. Definitely not a place to go with a big family group. Such a shame as the location and ambiance are very nice!

What a lovely treat and a rare find to dine at this restaurant. It is so wonderfully bright and airy- modern without being stark - and the first floor has the most wonderful outlook to the sea. We both ordered the Tuna steak which was an extremely generous size, cooked just how it should be - rare in the middle. It was served with the most delicious salsa Verda, and rocket and parmesan salad. The chips even tasted better than most I have eaten. Pudding was the panacotta which was a delightful refreshing dish, with a lovely crunch. The service was excellent. Highly recommend. Please support this new restaurant as it really offers something the area has lacked for so many years. I will be back soon, and can't wait for the lighter evenings to enjoy an early evening stroll on the seafront and a sunset dinner here.

Unfortunately disappointed... Night out with wife to try the new-ish local restaurant. Decor, location and also staff very nice. Unfortunately let down by poor food. Carpaccio of venison in principle nice, but bit too heavy and also too chunky. Not the wafer thin you would expect of a "carpaccio", also very rich for a starter. Then plaice as main was sitting in plate of fat ?butter, which was slightly burnt and overpowering. Also broccoli burnt in same fat... My bream risotto had very nice bream sitting on mushy seafood risotto. Again very rich and heavy... Even the hisbi cabbage we ordered as side was very rich with bacon and not a light side to balance the greasy food. Shame ... We left with bitter aftertaste and needed a schnapps on return home to help digest the heavy meal. Needs improvement to retain customers....

Our meals were delicious and the staff were very efficient and friendly. We watched a stunning sunset and enjoyed looking out to the sea. We would definitely recommend this restaurant.
