The Lamb Inn in South Gloucestershire

Wife's birthday with the family (11 ). Had booked online with the Blue Bowl at Hanham but after 2 days and 2 phone calls we still had not had confirmation that our table was booked so phoned the Lamb where we got booked in immediately. Great food, great service and everyone was happy. Well done The Lamb.

Had a birthday sunday lunch. There was quite a few of us. Cant fault it Absolutely lovely. Food and service. Nice clean pub. Great staff

First time we all went here all sizzling pubs we been to put us off of going.... This one amazing!! The waitress was the only one I saw running around like a headless chicken.... She deserves recognition.... I was In pub trade 10years.... Now NHS but she is a credit to the pub.... Chefs on tonight Monday 30thdec.....deserved a clap.... Really hope it wasn't a one off as the whole family loved it and we will be back..... Well done the whole members of staff on tonight 👍

We always come for breakfast once a month Sam is always helpful. Breakfast is nice Christmas decorations look lovely.

We enjoyed a fabulous meal of surf n turf, the steak cooked to perfection and the chicken pie and mash the pie was stuffed full of meat with a pot full of gravy happy times with pleasant attentive staff We will be returning

Visited at lunchtime and there was a good choice of food on the menu and all staff were friendly and welcoming, especially Sam who served us

We visit every4-6 weeks..as a group of 8. Wonderful service and food very good. Sam the barmaid is excellent, is always so helpful and friendly.

Was are go to breakfast pub after weatherspoons let as down with there food but today was a disappointment. This venue is great place to eat but l will not be returning., it always was lacking in customer awareness but after are comments about are breakfast falling on deaf ears we reluctantly say goodbye.....

Have visited the lamb at Mangotsfield Bristol on various occasions. This time with six family members as an anniversary celebration. The food is excellent value for money and the staff are very friendly and helpful. I really cannot think of anything they could improve on although, having used the toilet area on previous occasions, I think they could do with upgrading.

Went out with some work friends for our usual catch up and decided to visit the lamb . We had a very pleasant evening. The bar staff were lovely and couldn’t do enough for you. And the food was nice . We couldn’t fault any of it .

Wifes choice for birthday meal. As usual staff very welcoming friendly and helpful. They were extremely careful regarding my allergy (Fungi, as in Quorn, mushrooms etc.). Usual high standard of cleanliness. Owing to an unexpected high volume of clients on weekend several food choices unavailable - staff were great at offering alternatives for both unavailable items and things that might affect me.

Made our minds up what we were going to have but it was off, so we had to change order ,having said that staff were quite helpful.

Decent enough local (part of Sizzling Pubs), with a few interesting meals outside of the usual bland pub fayre.

I visit every Sunday and find the staff helpful and friendly.

The service and the staff were amazing, we arrived and they were just about to close the kitchen, they were not notified via the website booking as we booked late when we reached Bristol from Essex. The bar lady was an absolute star especially having to keep putting in the codes of my diners card which I think can be a pain for anyone behind the bar.

Recently visiting family and decided to check out the Lamb for dinner (31st of May). Not only was the food good but the staff were so nice (little lady behind bar with glasses couldn’t do enough for us). Highly recommend, unexpected great night. Also got a free beer on the app, win win 😆😆😁

Visited with family on Friday for dinner, food was lovely and staff couldn't do more to help. A special mention to Liz who went above and beyond! Great atmosphere, we will be back.

Wow, this pub is amazing! The service and food were excellent. The 241 Roasts are an incredible deal. The pub itself is lovely, and the bar staff were brilliant. We sat in the well-maintained beer garden on a really hot day. It's a really lovely local country pub.

Waiting for more than a hour for food which is simple not complicated only a steak! Not even busy yet that is too hard to do?

We had to wait an hour for the food, it was not even busy. The food had no flavour. I ordered the sizzling chicken, it was dry and only tasted the burned pepper on the chicken. The vegetables had no flavour at all. The chocolate fudge cake was ok, good portion size.

The best service, staff are amazing and even though we had an issue with one of our meals they were so accommodating and even gave my two children desserts on the house. Highly recommend this place. Food was fantastic and staff are the best.. thank you table 21

A lovely welcoming pub! Friendly bar staff. We ordered on the app a few times and it was easy to use and the staff were very efficient bringing our drinks to our table. The food came out piping hot and we didn’t have to wait too long. The lady checked our meals were ok after a few minutes - a nice touch. Fairly busy place lots going on with sport showing in the bar and a pool table!!

It was my first time coming to the pub and Leon was amazing . Service was top notch , food came out at great speed and was outstanding definitely reccomend.

Lovely family friendly pub allows dogs and had a great value kids menu. choice of two cask ales good wine list and lovely food. Had quite a few veg gluten free choices which is rare.

Amazing new menu and with the right people cooking it could have been a 4 star. Saying that you pay for what you get and we will be back soon. Good to see the football while out with the family. Be back with the lads aswell I'd imagine

The food was hot and tasty However 1. We booked on line but our table was not reserved 2. We asked for the menu, decided what food we wanted to order, and after we had chosen were told the salmon had all been sold (this was at 5pm!) 3. There were no serviettes on the table. We had to provide our own napkins. 4. The gent's toilet was out of commission, so I had to use the ladies'. 5. No-one asked whether everything was OK with our meals.

Have been to the Lamb several times and have never had a bad meal yet. The staff are friendly, it is a nice warm pub and the food is excellent value for money. Highly recommend.

For the second time we visited this restaurant we were served inferior quality steak as part of mixed grill and surf and turf menus. The restaurant were reluctant to change the steak and would only do so when challenged. The restaurant then blamed the inferior quality of the steak on its supplier.

Visited this friendly establishment with our grandchildren on Saturday for breakfast. The food was excellent, and the staff catered for the grandchildren’s needs very well, even giving them an activity pack to keep them entertained. The pub was clean and the staff very friendly.

Lovely place to meet up with friends for lunch. Food is excellent value for money and I haven't had a bad meal there yet. Would highly recommend as staff are friendly, welcoming and service is really quick.

this is my 4th visit to the lamb and the food has always been top rate the bar staff are efficient and also notify you if there's a wait for food the food just gets better every time I told the chef how nice his food is then to top it of I took a dessert home with me absolutely beautiful. I will definitely return to the lamb inn

Was told food would be 30 minutes waited almost 1 hour. When food eventually arrived chips were dry and cold but we were so hungry we ate them . My wife ordered the chilli which consisted of half a bowl of rice and some watered down kidney beans which she immediately took back to the bar. Was offered something else to eat but she declined because we would have to wait even longer. Person who served us at the bar was very understanding but the young man collecting glasses and plates just sniggered. We usually visit a couple of times a month but will stay clear from now on.

We come to the Lamb regularly from south Wales... Yesterday we were served by Tracey and Jack...service was impeccable, as always, food was delicious, as always!... My grandchildren absolutely love the build your own sundaes! Thanks to Tracey, the very friendly server/barmaid who always makes us feel so welcome 😁

Lovely food, lovely staff and lovely setting. I've tried many different meals and they were all great

After waiting over a hour and a quarter for our food, it came burnt and almost inedible. Three of our party had Scampi this came overcooked and rock hard. One member had a version of Surf and Turf (steak & scampi) the scampi, onion Rings and grilled tomato 🍅 was burnt and was returned to the kitchen. Eggs that came with Gammon were hard and overcooked. Although the Scampi was replaced what came out of the kitchen was of poor quality. We have used The Lamb on many occasions but after our experience today, we will not be returning.

Me and my mates come often. The service is always 10/10, prompt and the drinks and food are both amazing! All of the staff are very friendly and recognise us, so will have chat to us like we are mates which keeps us coming back for more - a pub that cares! Would definitely recommend 👌

Great food yesterday at The Lamb Inn, courteous and friendly staff with lovely surroundings. The meal came out perfectly and we all had a lovely time in what was a busy pub. Will definitely be visiting again soon 😊
