Great place. Quality food. Shame about the smokers who disregard the no smoking notice on the main hut. Maybe they haven't seen it as it is a bit small, and there's just the one. Perhaps the owners (if they genuinely don't want people smoking) could put notices on the tables both outside and inside the sheds. I and the people I went with were disgusted by the repulsive smoke coming from the cigarettes of two people in the same family on the afternoon we were there. Apart from that, the place is a very nice find!

I make sure to stop at this lovely cafe when near Queensbury on my bike. The cakes are amazing (though not always ideal to overindulge for the climb back up the hill!) and the wooden huts are fab if it’s a bit chilly to be sitting on the benches outside. It’s just off the cycle track and you can keep a close eye on your bike whilst enjoying your pit stop. There is also a handy portaloo should you be in need!

The Junction Lodge is a superb walker’s cafe by the track leading to Thornton Viaduct. It’s got everything you could wish for on a walk around the area: warm welcome, good hearty food and - a real treat - a number of cabins to sit in if it’s too wet to sit outside. The bacon rolls are highly recommended. It opens Wednesday through to Sunday, 10-4. It was a real pleasure to come across this place. It’s an imaginative and creative venture and I hope it continues to do well.

Booked for lunch. Only a couple more tables with diners so no atmosphere and upstairs closed. Two things we wanted were not available - on a Saturday! Very overpriced at £9 for a salad which was mainly lettuce or a sandwich with dry white bread. A bit grubby and tired.

Can’t complain about staff they were brilliant, but the food was not worth the money, we had Yorkshire rarebit £17.95 It tasted like the bread had just been flattened and pressed into a small flat bowl topped with loads of cheese and stuck under a grill which the bread felt very hard to cut and quite solid it was topped with 3 half cherry tomatoes and a salad leaf (one) Not impressed We had come for the experience decided not to have the cakes as didn’t want to spend anymore money It’s not hard to make cheese on toast should of been better

We live in baildon, and have used cafe Nine quite a lot. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Quick to get your order taken, even if they are very busy. They have a bit of seating outside too which is nice when we do have some sun! Food is always nice and fresh. Usually have a large breakfast and coffee. Never disappointed. Absolutely no problem recommending them if you fancy a bite or a coffee, they will sort you out!
