Very cheap to buy round of drinks. Busy. Noisy.

It was early tea time so not very busy but everything else was superb

Full over gobby youngsters, bouncers at door, so you know what that means?

Wetherspoons in central Nottingham City. Great value and next to the Market Square where events are often held. Try the nachos with cheese, sour cream, guacamole, spicy tomato sauce a lovely snack.

Staff are brilliant, clientele are not of this earth. Like a cross between the star wars canteena and the set of walking dead

Typical Wetherspoon. Busy, lively, full of atmosphere. Ordering at the table is a big plus.

Big fan of spoons and owners attitude, but first time here. Badly run down. Wipe your feet on way out, dealers and users outside. Not good advert for spoons pubs. Sorry, would never return.

Other than cheap drinks this pub has very little else going for it. It was dirty, noisy and full of hen / stag groups. Don't go here if you are looking for a quiet pint at the weekend.

Always pop in here for lunch when I'm in town shopping never any complaints

It's a wetherspoon pub same as all the rest but really busy sometimes. Nothing special but prices are cheap .

I went with friends otherwise I wouldn't have gone here. Very busy with few spaces to sit. Very noisy. The wines are very poor. I accept it's reasonably priced, but I struggled to drink my wine. If you want to drink on a tight budget, it's fine. If you want a decent wine, you should avoid it.

Looking at the online menu, most of it was fogged out. No eggs and no beans, with not much of an option as a substitute. Ended up with sausage chips and peas. However, the Ramen Noodle bowl was AMAZING!

This wetherspoons was disgusting. Tables weren't clean, and upon walking through my nostrils were assaulted by the aroma of dried urine. The waitress was so rude too. We ordered on the app and it said there were no fried or scrambled eggs available but there was the option to add poached eggs. So when our breakfast arrived I asked oh are there no eggs? And she snapped at me and said there's signs everywhere saying there's no eggs and I explained on the app it said there are poached eggs but she just repeated that there are signs everywhere (I didn't notice any sign about no eggs) and then when she took our plates away after the meal I said thank you and she just totally ignored me and looked as if she hated me or something! Made us feel horrible. Also the grilled tomato halves were disgusting, the tomatoes were tinted green and had no flavour and were also really hard, they weren't cooked through. I know you can eat them as they are but grilled tomatoes shouldn't be like that. And we ordered a pint of pepsi which took 10 minutes to come. Worst wetherspoons I've ever been to.

A great city centre pub, usual wetherspoons food and drink, great prices and a fantastic friendly and busy atmosphere.

For a wethers it's one of the worst I've been in. Bacon in burger was cold, like just come out the fridge cold. Bottom of bun was dry like it had been in the microwave. My friend ordered cookie dough pudding and it was also sent back because it was cold. Staff didn't even speak or apologise just said "oh" and walked off. Wouldn't go here again if I'm honest for food.

Came here on a busy Saturday, ordered drinks at the bar and through the app and service was friendly and quick, Toilets were clean, even at the end of the night. Good place to end a night after a gig

Made the mistake of going in here on a Monday.......Monday club. Cheap booze. As I walked in to find a table I was asked to be their friends by shaking hands. I politely refused and sat down as far away as possible. Drinks arrived quickly by a tall man with a beard, who seemed to do most of the work. The other staff seemed to be a bit shy and stayed mostly in the kitchen. To my amazement a man kept walking in to the pub carrying a black holdall, he had a quick look around then put bottles of tomato sauce and salad cream into it. Even when one of the staff walked past him. He then casually walked out again. And as usual with Wetherspoons pubs the disabled toilets are always open to anyone who wants to use them. I am disabled but when I looked at the toilet area I decided to go down the stairs to use the facilities. Waste of time having a key. No sure how often the disabled toilets are supposed to be checked but no staff went in there during the two and half hours I was sat watching the world go by

Did not have any food here today but found the service quick polite and efficient. It was quite busy but not over whelming. Found the staff had time for us as individual customers and only to willing to help and give advice. They also appeared to have a good knowledge of the product's that they were selling.

Worst whetherspoons ive ever been in ordered many times from app. App had a glitch that processed order incorrectly toook an hour to grt food. Floors in toilets very sticky. Never go here again

On this occasion the food wasn't up to par The jacket potato looked shrivelled as though it had been rewarmed and was yellow inside My friends who arrived around half an hour after us ordered jacket potatoes and theirs where clearly much fresher

Lively atmosphere at weekends as expected, friendly service from hard working staff and nice food. Only negative was the floor in the gents toilets was a disgrace and was almost like walking through a swamp and drenched it was, but I won't knock any stars off for that, but please work on the situation.

It's a typical spoons. Serves a purpose for cheap ale in city center. Lots of alcoholics. Most people in there were smashed. Drink was ok Standard. Service was good. I usually avoid this place but spotted a friend in there as we walked past. Next time I'll keep walking.

Discrimination is rife at this venue. I've witnessed older gentlemen be literally ignored at the bar for upwards of twenty minutes whilst the barmen serve their friends and allow them to queue jump. When you call them on it they act oblivious but they know exactly what they're doing.

Good choice of beers....brilliant price...not a bad atmosphere...a few students about but that's more to do with the cheaper prices...overall will return....👍👍

What stands out here is the staff, a well trained and genuinely interested young lady working on the Monday morning of the 13th Jan was a standout hospitality ambassador.

Ropey clientele. Typical city centre weatherspoons. It's not the best but convenient and fair priced. Rough and ready.

This place was absolutely chocker block. Food was good, atmosphere was good to, considering it's in the town centre.

Tired and in desperate need of being updated with new furnishings and carpets. It's looking very tired and scruffy. The food and drinks are typical of all Weatherspoons, but as it's looking untidy and dirty, it puts you off eating here now.

Waited 40 minutes for a drink , did not receive it with my meal asked 4 different people eventually got my pint , but made me rush and also late

Unfortunately this is not the best wetherspoon I visited in Nottingham. Lot of empty glasses and dity plates were still left in the tables, so I needed to put it aside and it was taked couple of minutes for the staff to take it aside. The toilet was gross, never ever go to their toilet again. But the service was fast and food was typical wetherspoon. Need lot of things to improve for this place.

Intenté entrar aquí (he estado muchas veces) con mi "perro de servicio totalmente calificado y certificado". ¡Mi perro tenía tres distintivos diferentes, y muy claros de ver, placas de perro de servicio identificando que es un perro asistente de trabajo, uno en su delantera y dos en su arnés! El gerente estaba afuera y dijo que NO PODÍA entrar con mi perro. ¡Le dije educadamente que es una perra de servicio totalmente calificada y certificada y que es ilegal negar el acceso! Dije que tenía la identificación de mis perros para mostrarle. Ella respondió con “ha habido un cambio de política y solo se permiten perros guía”. (Ella me mantuvo afuera en el frío mientras esto sucedía)! ¡Otra vez he dicho amablemente que no todas las discapacidades o Perros Asistentes tienen que ver con ser ciegos / dificultades visuales y no todas las discapacidades, como en mi caso, son visibles! ¡Ella todavía dijo que NO! Mientras sacaba mi identificación de perros, ella sacó su teléfono con actitud y dijo ‘todavía no se te permite’ y se refirió a mí varias veces como ‘dulce’, pero ella dijo ‘voy a revisar la Política de WS’. Siendo gerente, habría pensado que conocería la política, especialmente porque las ‘Reglas’ acaban de cambiar. Después de que ella mirara en línea y yo mostrara mi identificación de perros ahora se me permitió entrar. Le expliqué lo humillada que me hizo sentir y ella respondió bruscamente ‘¿por qué?’ ¡Entonces se fue! ¡Su actitud habla mucho! TODAS las cucharas de agua nos dejan entrar a mi perro y a mí. 2 o 3 veces esta gerente citó el “cambio de política”, su actitud fue terrible y nunca se disculpó debido al hecho de que estaba completamente equivocada! ¡Las políticas pueden cambiar, pero todavía tienen que respetar la ley! Solo me quedé por 1 bebida y eso es solo porque estaba necesitando sentarme! Después de esta horrenda experiencia, una jovencita me trajo mi bebida después de pedir en la aplicación. Le pregunté amable y tranquilamente por los gerentes Nombre, ella tenía una actitud tan grande y se negó a dármelo. Tengo la fecha y la hora de la visita para que los WS puedan ver la cctv si desean ver a los empleados y certificar lo discriminatorios que fueron! Así que, a todos los que están ahí fuera, ¡EVITA EVITAR EVITAR!

Very busy public house caters more for students than the general public

I know it was busy & the Xmas fair was on but this is a Spoons that does not have enough staff on. One staff member on the bar working her proverbial off. No ice & not told so until after a long wait & drinks were presented. Scruffy & nobody to tidy the tables. But it's obviously making a lot of dosh & the food looked hot & fresh.

Always a good place to visit. Food and service excellent.

Atmosphere was quite bad. however you dont go to Weatherspoon for an atmosphere but for cheap beer!

I know you get what you pay for,but on a visit here with 4 mates,ALL 5 meals were only luke warm..It was lunchtime so not a slack period,so this shouldnt really happen.Looking through past reviews this seems to be a regular occurence.☹️ Makes you think that the food is cooked at the nearby Roebuck pub and delivered here.

Tenemos una mesa. menú de Wetherspoon habitual, que es extenso y con un precio bien. Ambos tuvimos la hamburguesa definitiva que hemos tenido en el pasado. la comida no era tan buena como en el pasado, era una hamburguesa bastante pequeña, no mucho queso derretido. Las fichas, pocas que había no eran muy agradables.

Can't beat a spoons breakfast with unlimited coffee. Only thing would mention was the fried eggs. They were extremely small on all 3 breakfasts.

Decent pub, no frills but it sells my favourite tipple, so pop in for a couple and leave contented

food was grim, some of my chips were raw, foods got no flavour, rather eat cardboard. not to mention the gherkin that was just slapped on my burger. i dont know what ive done to deserve this. wouldnt wish this place on my worse enemy. Eating this food was on par with water boarding. not to mention that the burger patty tastes like the chewing gum you find under the tables in school. dont eat here unless you hate yourself

The service is awful, waited for our food for 40 minutes. The cutlery was dirty and some of the food was cold.

Typical wetherspoons really but being so central does seem to attract a lot of undesirables eg people begging you for money for their train etc who seem to spend hours there asking people inside for money. Otherwise it's OK but definitely think the Roebuck is nicer and not so full of buggies and such!

Came in here 3 mornings for breakfast. Food was great, as was the service, big pub with lots of staff, always really busy.

3 for £14.93, pizzas were lovely and hot, good amount of toppings. The chicken strips were crispy and yum. Staff were friendly and service was quick. Tidy pub too!

This is a large, pleasantly decorated and very centrally situated pub. I found the service in Nottingham generally very good and this is no exception: the staff were welcoming and very efficient. The price of food and drink is, as usual unbeatable: by far the cheapest of anything comparable in the city centre. I noticed that they had a booklet (presumably common to all Wetherspoons) with helpful descriptions of the wines on offer: I really like this because it demonstrates a real commitment to providing good quality wines to working people. TOP TIP: as with all Wetherspoons, some of the clientele can become quite ‘boisterous’ (aided by the best value booze for miles). You therefore need to choose the best times to visit: my preference is for early afternoon or evening at weekends and at any time from Monday to Thursdays. Recommended.

After sitting at the table for 10 mins and ordering via the app, the food came fairly quickly. I just wish that you'd be on top of cleaning the tables! I had to ask when we received our drinks.

Este es un pub grande, agradablemente decorado y muy céntrico. Me pareció que el servicio en Nottingham en general muy bueno y esta no es la excepción: el personal era acogedor y muy eficiente. El precio de la comida y la bebida es, como de costumbre, inmejorable: de lejos, el más barato de cualquier cosa comparable en el centro de la ciudad. Me di cuenta de que tenían un folleto (presumiblemente común a todas las cucharas) con descripciones útiles de los vinos que se ofrecen: Me gusta mucho porque demuestra un compromiso real con el suministro de vinos de buena calidad a los trabajadores. CONSEJO PRINCIPAL: como con todas las cucharas de agua, parte de la clientela puede volverse bastante “bulliciosa” (ayudada por la mejor relación calidad-precio para millas). Por lo tanto, es necesario elegir los mejores horarios para visitar: mi preferencia es por la tarde o la noche los fines de semana y en cualquier momento de lunes a jueves. Recomendado.

Not quite 5* Possibly we arrived when they were under staffed. Tables not cleared or cleaned. The server didn't place the plate on the table properly, nearly had it on my lap. Portions were smaller than I expected. Again must be the time we arrived but there was quite a roudy atmosphere

Este pub céntrico es claramente popular y moderno en estilo interior. Pedí un desayuno de libertad y un café y mi pedido fue tomado eficiente y educadamente y la comida estaba en mi mesa en unos impresionantes tres minutos! La comida estaba bien cocinada y sabía bien. El café también. Bien hecho.

Justo en el corazón de la ciudad de Nottingham, en South Parade, adyacente a The Market Square, se encuentra The Joseph Else - un pub dirigido por el molino Wetherspoons. Aquí encontrará las trampas habituales de un pub Wetherspoons: bebidas muy asequibles, menús de comida pegajosa y baños que requieren un mapa y una brújula (así como una semana de descanso en el trabajo) para llegar. No es que el tiempo libre en el trabajo sea algo que parezca molestar a la gran mayoría de las personas en este pub, ya que este pub está lleno de lo que se consideraría clientes tradicionales de Wetherspoons. Dicho esto, resultó ser una parada inestimable para mí mientras esperaba a que alguien me encontrara en la ciudad de Nottingham, que es absolutamente sombría. ¿Regresaría? Probablemente no.
