Ed's Easy Diner Nottingham Victoria Centre in Nottingham

I really enjoyed the cheesy burger and waffle chips, best burger I've had for a while. We went by accident but staff friendly and ok service.

It was very crowded and the waitress seemed like she had 1 million other places where wanted to be. We where seated next to a loud and obnoxious family of 6 and 2 of them being young children that would not shut up this was accompanied by the loud atmosphere of Victoria Centre drowning out the conversation I was having with my lovely wife. The food took about 30 minutes to arrive and was cold so we did not eat it all we did not get any pudding and a result of this poor experience and ate somewhere else. Would not recommend this

Everything was lovely - I'm autistic and have a lot of issues with food, but the staff were incredibly accommodating. Food was tasty, and well-made. Prices are okay, not the best, but you can get 50% off vouchers on your receipt which makes return visits a lot cheaper. Atmosphere is in a shopping centre, so not particularly special, but the diner does take you out of the busy shopping space.

We went here for a drink only. We had the Mud pie milkshake which was huge! Definitely a pudding in a glass! It was extremely tasty, very filling (I could not drink all of mine) and it was a lovely treat. The staff were very friendly, smiling and helpful.

On arrival we we're asked if we needed the toilet!! ( like we couldn't afford to eat here) food finally arrived 25 minutes after orderd!! Sour face cooking staff. Maybe a partitioned wall would help. A wall would also stop us seeing the shorter woman from rolling her eyes!!

Had the Tennessee tower and Smokey Joe. Food was great! Made some alterations as fussy eaters and 9 times out of 10, places always mess it up but the staff here nailed it! They came back with a plate of extra cheese just in case the amount on the burger wasn’t enough. There was just one girl serving along with whom I can presume was the manager - both were very tentative and polite. Will be coming back again. Thank you!

Popped in here today 9th July for lunch as the wife wanted to try it, now me being an ex chef was very hesitant and thought it was just your typical gimmick America dinner serving slop, wow how wrong was I food was amazing place looked a little short staffed but they never showed it and worked really well the food portions where a decent size and cooked to perfection would definitely visit again if I'm in the area

Waited another 15 minutes and no sign of the drink so I asked the waitress only to be told without even checking that it hadn't gone through. When I showed her the email receipt, she said she would sort it. 10 minutes later she went home and still no drink. I ended up asking for a refund as I'd been there 30 minutes by this point. No apology and then I was handed a 50% off offer for when I returned next time...no thank you. Nice food but rubbish service.

Turned up to eds with a group is seven as a birthday treat. Sign said wit to be seated, noone came not even acknowledged us. Seated ourselves and tried to catch the attention of bored looking, unbusy staff members but were ignored . After 10 min decided to leave and go elsewhere. Very poor customer service. I would expect to at least be acknowledged. A simple greeting/explanation would have sufficed but it was downright rude. Noone seemed to care at all.

Took my daughter for brunch, staff were friendly and food was cooked fresh to order. My daughter particularly loved that you coukd have vanilla coke. Although we only had one soft drink each, this was over £7 as it was classed as unlimited, but the same price as a single drink. Didn't fancy 3 hour drive with unlimited pee stops on the way home! Food was delicious but a little on the expensive side almost £40 for brunch but hey ho, we were on holiday.

Went in this afternoon, excited as not been to an Ed's in at least 20 years. Tried to use the app to order, but found it confusing and seemingly no options to make burgers plain, remove gherkins etc. Then it added two of the same item to my basket and I couldn't work out how to amend it. Gave up and walked out without ordering anything. Not going to waste my time with fiddly apps - go back to employing waiting staff.

The food was surprisingly good, it's a shame about the service ,it used to be great but now you have to use the horrible app, it's like take away really, why do I have to do half the work when I go to a restaurant?

Visited with my partner on Friday. Amazing and quick service and incredible food. Easily the best burger I’ve ever had and I was so excited about the fact I could customise my milkshake by ordering on the website (which tasted INCREDIBLE) Only downside is that it’s in an open space on the top floor of the shopping centre rather than an enclosed unit so people were walking past the table all the time. I’d expect this from a fast food place but not a sit down table service restaurant. It’s also not the cheapest which I originally wasn’t pleased about but after eating the food I realised it was worth every penny. My partner was also annoyed that the coke float didn’t have full fat coke so he didn’t get one despite the poster being the only reason he wanted to go there in the first place because it’s his favourite drink😂 Would recommend and will be visiting again!

Went with my son. His buffalo wings were too hot and they said due to ‘stock’ they wouldn’t replace and I’d have to pay. The waiting staff said the sauce wouldn’t be hot when he asked…terrible customer service and my son felt super guilty that I’d paid for something he couldn’t eat when he was so excited to go.

Very Expensive for what it is. 2 breakfasts two coffees nearly £30 🤦‍♀️ .Waitress was very happy/bubbly. Quick service. Food was OK ish bits cold bits hot. Mushrooms were iffy

Disgusting, avoid at all costs, beans were barely warm, bacon pathetic 3 pcs 50 x 25 mm, asked if thus was right and was told it was, not worth the money, will not be going again.

Overcooked bacon, dry pancakes, I was looking forward to a breakfast treat. QR code ordering assumes you want to leave a tip before you’ve been served or eaten.

Food is okay here, but they no longer take cash and now need to pay upfront before eating. Some mornings your told you have to use the app on the table, which my parents who are elderly wouldn't be able to eat here because of this.

Jayne service us all though it was near the end of the day she was still happy and nothing was to much trouble she took time to tell us about the menus

We popped in for a quick snack and we weren't disappointed. The service was really good, especially one of the waitresses who was very efficient and friendly. One of the waitresses was very quiet and we really struggled to hear anything she said. Luckily I'm partially deaf so could lip read what she was saying. We had the loaded fries and I tried the coca cola float, this took me right back to being a child again and I thoroughly enjoyed it. Before we left for home we went back again for dinner. The service was yet again spot on and the waitress was really attentive and friendly. The food was lovely and flavoursome. The pricing is about what I would expect from a diner inside a shopping centre. The booths were really comfortable and there was hardly any wait for the food. There aren't toilets at the diner but there are some just round the corner in the shopping centre. Will definitely be back.

The staff are super friendly and attentive. The food tastes great. However... points lost for value.. £16 50 for a burger meal... I say meal... the burger was no bigger than a maccys double cheese burger, there was an option for 1 side which I chose mac and cheese... turns out that omits fries... So... 1 small/medium burger and a tiny pot of mac n cheese... £16.50... Priced at double what its worth.. point me in the direction of subway... I'm still hungry.

My son, my father and I visited Ed’s easy diner. It was a trip out for my son’s 21st birthday. Firstly was told to order via the QR code. Which is fine but spent 10 minutes trying to find the appetiser section. I queried with staff to say that isn’t on the QR code. The staff member then had to take the order and make us pay before eating. Order one burger with 2 sides. One chicken burger with 1 side. One starter of chicken tenders. One starter of halloumi fries. One portion of seasoned fries and a Caesar salad. 2 glasses of tap water and one bottomless drink. I was astounded that the amount was £51!! To put this into context the burgers were child sized. Nothing like the Normal size of a burger bun. The beef burger had raw onions in. The sauce disgusting. The Mac and cheese side bore little resemblance to the actual dish. The cheese smelt and tasted like sweaty feet. The dressing on the Caesar salad was plain and unseasoned. The seasoned fries were over seasoned. The halloumi fries and starter of chicken tenders were the only decent tasting items on the menu or indeed edible. As it was my son’s 21at birthday he begged me not to complain or point out the failings. We won’t be visiting here ever again. Even my son, who didn’t want to complain and is a regular burger restaurant visitor has said he would never return and the food was terrible. It’s trade description with the size of the burgers shown on the menu in respect of what you actually get. It’s no wonder we were one of a few tables occupied at a busy lunchtime.

I went to Ed’s diner with my partner yesterday we had the absolute pleasure of seeing Jane again. She is such a joy always so happy and helpful we have never been to a place to eat with such a lovely person to serve us! She is a credit to your business we will always be back as long as she is there The food is always great and served fast I would highly recommend to all

look, in a perfect world Ed's would be great however, when your waiting the best part of 15 minutes for the order to be taken and 35 minutes for the food only for the black and blues burger to be luke warm and the chicken strips were cold. Saving grace was the quality of the white chocolate milk shake and the fries.

What a great place a very warm welcome 🙏.We had a full breakfast it was absolutely beautiful with no fat or oil dripping on the plate the staff was all fantastic friendly especially the lady with dark hair and glasses she was a gem. It was a great American experience and I would highly recommend and I will definitely be going back

Went to Ed’s Easy Diner Saturday 12th March 2022 and I can’t compliment the service and food enough! The lady that served us (sorry I didn’t get your name) was absolutely amazing! Full of life, very hospitable and great with my kids. The food was incredible!! My husband, mum and myself all had the black ‘n’ blue burger and it was soooo yummy! Can’t wait to come back again. Thank you to all the staff there on Saturday for a great experience.

First time using ed's easy diner, food was great quality and a fair competitive price. The place has a great atmosphere with friendly and fast staff. The music fits the theme perfectly. 5/5 would recommend. I'll be coming back.

Our waitress was brill ..that's the only nice thing to be said about this place...had wait a very very very long time for the so called food..it was cold when it came out..dent send it back it would be closing time before we got it . It was my sons birthday or I would of walked out..it was very expensive..would never go back

Staff were lovely. First thing they asked was if we had any allergies. Told her my son has a nut allergy so she showed me their app which you can select your allergens and it then lists the menu without the foods you cannot eat. Sunday before Christmas, was expecting them to be busy, but service was great, good arrived quickly and was delicious.

Good food ... and service Enjoyed lunch whilst Christmas shopping

Had to ask for my food to be redone as by the time it got to us it was cold, but second lot was ok.

Many items on the menu were not available on the day we went and also we booked online and were told that there was no point as they don't see the bookings at the restaurant so they operate on a first come first served system. The food was only ok and I would say if you are after an American diner experience there are far better.

It is not a favourite place I will not go again food not up to my standard.
