Excellent value, friendly staff, great range of food. Highly recommended. And a great view from the picture window over Dorking.

Service terrible and slow and ill thought out. Was kept queuing whilst the server made coffee and rolls for person in front of me take away and didn’t take my restaurant order. Person in kitchen doing nothing. When I was served after 10 mins of standing there I asked how long was told it would be quick as no other order. Finally 20 mins later a simple fry up appears.

Best club sandwich for miles. Welcoming staff. Great coffee. Excellent value for money. What more can you ask for? Many thanks we will be back.

Food was luke warm. Table and chairs were not clean. Staff were swearing and talking loudly about nights out and holidays.

Stopped at the jam pot for a quick breakfast inbetween site visits. Lovely friendly staff very welcoming even with ut being very busy. I had the large breakfast which was cooked very well and tasted great. Very good value for money. Seem to have a nice choice of food other than breakfast. Highly recommend giving it a visit if your in the area.

The JamPot is the best cafe in Dorking. Fantastic food and very good prices. They welcome families and are genuinely lovely. The club sandwich cannot be beaten. Thank you for being such a fab cafe.

An off day.??Maybe!!!! I don't like to write reviews that are personal and I have had a 10 days to reflect on my experience with this cafe. I have been twice before and had a lovely experience with amazing food. The last time was the worst experience!!! The food I can honestly say is the worst that I have ever had in a cafe! I am 52 and a trained chef for many years and started in a cafe! ! I was astounded with it! The plate was a swimming pool for oil! It was like the food your 10 year old cooks for the first time! I complained...... Maybe because I was served food that was like my son cooked for me when he was 10, trying to teach him how to cook I was not the most gracious customer. I didn't swear and apologised I needed to send it back! I didn't say thank you or please to have decent plate of food replaced! I didnt think I needed too? Sadly that was the reason that I was totally humiliated and vidiculed in front of the the rest of the customers with the chef storming out and saying I should say please and thank you! I expected an apology!!! The owner did apologise but that should have never happened but felt humilated and embarrassed. Shame on you for what you did to me!!!!

One large breakfast and one light, coffe and tea. Lovely hot food and very tasty. Add this place to your list to visit. It has a big menu and places to sit inside (and out - but not in December!!).

Nice looking little cafe, but the poached eggs were solid - the whites should be cooked adequately whilst the yolks are still runny - and the toast only done on one side, & was soggy. It was a very disappointing visit.

We had breakfast there 3 days running. A wonderful start to the day while our kitchen was out of action.

The cafe was buzzing when we arrived. Our order for a full veggie breakfast and avocado on toast didn't take long to arrive and was delicious. Good atmosphere. . Recommend.

I have always loved the breakfast at The Jam Pot but I’m really disappointed in the prawn sandwich I got for lunch, was lovely brown bread but the small amount of filling let it down

Super friendly welcome! We were looking for somewhere for lunch that would allow dogs after a very soggy walk. Not only did The Jampot accept dogs but they provided a doggie menu, complimentary treats and lots of attention. The coffee was fantastic and the food was delicious and great value. I live miles away but will definitely be back!

As a regular customer I am yet to see a bad day at Jampot The staff are all friendly , courteous and professional . This attitude complements the food which is well cooked and delicious I can fully recommend their large breakfast which is provided with a good portion size. Catered a finger buffet for a wake. They listened to what we wanted, advised on quantities, delivered on time. The food arrived in sealed trays with instructions on when to open. Everything clearly freshly made and the quality was excellent. The sandwiches were well filled and there was a large variety. Trays were marked for vegetarians. The cakes were yummy. The buffet drew numerous complements from those attending including professionals from within the catering trade. If you are looking for a professional team to provide a quality service then look no further than the Jam Pot . Thank you for your efforts.

This is a busy little Cafe with very good breakfast. The tea's and Coffee's could be a tad hotter but overall its a little gem.

Lovely scrambled egg, perhaps a few seconds less cooking time but nevertheless it was lovely. The large breakfast was perfectly cooked. The rolls very fresh too. The coffee was nice - not too strong. The table was quite sticky so needed more of a wipe. Nice place to eat. Will return.

Yo solo queria un rollo de salchichas para llevar ya que yo tenía prisa mega. Una señorita tenía un anillo en cada dedo y pulgar. Sin guantes, pero ella estaba haciendo sándwiches, agarrando el queso, la ensalada, etc. sin tenazas. Me sentí bastante mareado pensando sobre todo el bac 6 anillos y en la eria gente tocar la comida con sus propias manos. Hizo mi excusas y a la izquierda.

Conocí a un socio aquí para una reunión de desayuno. Hay un montón de aparcamiento exterior y es fácil de encontrar. El interior de la tienda nos sentimos frío, una combinación de ser básicamente amueblada y por alguna razón, la puerta trasera estaba abierta en un día frío. Pero eso fue lo único negativo. Ambos tuvimos el desayuno inglés, él tenía el inglés completo, tuve la Lite y tomamos el té. Fue muy buena, bien preparada, tocino sabroso y salchichas. También tienen un bar de bocadillos que ofrece sándwiches recién hechos y baguettes, así parece un lugar estupendo para los trabajadores locales. Sin duda volvería. Buena comida, buen precio.

When it comes to good quality, best cooked and great service cafe breakfast, no one I've come across comes close to this place. Oh yeah, cheap too - what's missing? Nothing I can think of, I love it.

I've been using the Jam Pot for a few months now as I am currently working in Dorking, being a manual labourer I like to get what I call a proper builders breakfast,the Jam pot doesn't disappoint, the large breakfast consists of 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, beans, mushrooms and tomato, served with thick crusty toast and a tea or coffee,all that for £6.30. There is ample seating in and out, and parking spaces outside also.staff are very friendly too. Every brekky ive had so far has been spot on, always piping hot too. Roll on Friday!!!

Have enjoyed a very nice good value breakfast on many occasions, usually about 20 min wait but worth it, however I would recommend that you go there when the owner is around as it is a different place when she is not, you may find that your order is forgotten and the staff are dismissive and sometimes downright rude.While the owner was hospitalised recently it resembled some sort of youth club during my visit, when I was presented with my tea from a paper cup, and an attitude when I enquired about the possibility of a real cup, I had a similar experience today and will not be returning. I would still recommend you visit this place but if you have a bad experience it will probably be because the cats away.

Wanted a good big breakfast and was not disappointed. Superb food, good service and very reasonable. Will certainly go again when I need a bad boys' breakfast!

After the disaster of staying at Thatchers in Leatherhead what a delight to find a really good quality cafe serving great breakfast, take away lunch and a decent latte. Looking forward to going back in the morning. Breakfast and lunch for half the price the hotel wanted to charge me for breakfast alone. And lovely friendly staff too

Although this cafe doesn't have the quaint or cosy feeling of many of the nearby coffee shops the food was great value and tasted great. I ordered a light vegetarian breakfast and it only cost £5 including toast and my choice of tea. The place was pretty crowded - it was lunchtime after all - but the food didn't take too long to come and it was worth it when it did. I'd go again!

Hubby and I pop down from Box Hill for a lovely "home cooked" full English, made with quality produce!

What a fantastic sandwich shop, but a bit hidden away. This place always seems to be busy at breakfast and lunch time, and I guess it does a good trade with the local business parks. If it was closer to the High Street I bet it would be a goldmine.Excellent sandwiches served with a smile.

Arrived at 14.00 on a Thursday and to my supprise I discovered this cafe has Gluton Free Bread.I had a great breakfast with bread.BRILLIANT Highly recommended

After one of our favourite breakfast places burned down, we reverted back to where we used to go to many years ago - and a bit of a trek from our home address. However, after seeing some review here, we decided to have a full Eglish breakfast to kick off my husband's birthday. We were not disappointed.A nice, clean, friendly, homely cafe which cooked up one of the best breakfasts we have ever eaten (he's in his 60's while I'm still in my 50's - just).This is the sort of cafe that I would love to have run as a business - just perfect!!The owners have a winning formula and we will be back!

A good honest cafe. The food was freshly prepared and well worth the wait. Very busy which I think is a recommendation in itself. There's certainly seemed to be a steady flow of regular customers and it appeared to be a focal point for the area. Not overpriced and will go back again if visiting the area.

Because of TA recommendations we had breakfast here on both mornings of our stay at Dorking Travelodge & were really pleased we did!Coffee & tea (included in the very reasonable price) were brought promptly, & there was a selection of papers to read while our food was cooked to order. The full English was as good as you could wish for & the chunky slices of toasted bloomer loaf were far better that the usual sliced pap.This is a busy café, obviously popular with local families & workers for breakfast, with a good selection of sandwiches that office workers were collecting while we were there.I was tempted to call my review " Literally Trip Advisor" as unfortunately I tripped on the uneven surface of the parking area outside, fell down & bumped my nose which bled spectacularly. 2 of the staff (Claire & Kerry) couldn't have been kinder or more concerned, bringing me a chair, tissues & water & generally looking after me until I was fit to set off with my husband. They assured us that something will be done shortly to repair the parking area.

Nice looking place but was disappointed with my breakfast given the gushing TA reviews. Decent portion but poorly cooked eggs and low quality sausages and bacon. all very greasy as well. Nice coffee though. will give it another try for lunch as its on my route.

As we were staying in a Travelodge in Dorking, we were looking for somewhere to have breakfast before heading to Gatwick airport and read the reviews on Travelodge. We were very impressed with the choices on offer and really enjoyed what we chose. The place was very busy with people eating in and also taking food out. They obviously have the right formula for a very successful business.

We love this place! We often wander down on Saturday morning. The food is always fresh and locally sourced. The Full English Breakfast is just right, and there are Light versions if you're not quite so hungry, or you're vegetarian. The staff are always friendly and helpful and the atmosphere is welcoming. I've never heard a bad word said about this little gem.

Nicely decorated and well laid out, Took the family for lunch just before noon, having selected our choices from the menus on the walls, we were told that there were no jackets and no burgers. So stock control clearly an issue, what we did have was fine but not amazing

i was getting married and looked at alot of places and someone told me about the jam pot.my partner called them and we meet and talked about what we want.my wedding was in dec and for the price in family member paid there was a lot of food.i didnt get to eat alot of it but everyone was talking about how nice the food was, had loads left over.highly recommend.ive put two ££ but it all depends what you want the work round your needs

Took a party of 10 for Breakfast. We were booked in and in the main pre-booked our choices. It was a bit cramped, but we were all together. The service was very efficient and the food was good.

Excellent breakfast, tasty and sensibly priced. Have been here with 3 friends. They didn't mind that we had brought a bottle (Christmas breaky) and they were also very good about us staying practically the entire day chatting and drinking coffee.

As a regular visitor to Dorking , I deny myself very little when it comes to the various restaurant , pub and bar offerings in town . Nevertheless , I always find room for a Jam Pot breakfast in the morning ! Excellent fry-up with particularly tasty sausages ! Friendly staff , good value for money and the perfect antidote to the over-indulgence of the night before ! A Jam Pot breakfast has the healing qualities that any self-respecting bon viveur and hedonist craves !

Had a full English this morning. Beautifully cooked and generous - best breakfast in Dorking I know of.Staff are very friendly and helpful. They could use more staff though. While we were there waiting for our food I observed a few tables that needed clearing and two people walk away from the queue.

Lovely sandwich shop and the staff are fantastic. Very friendly and happy to cater for all tastes, and the fry ups are brilliant! Great, varied lunch menu. I highly recommend the Jam Pot for catering too - they have catered large office lunches for us and the food is always fresh and tasty.

Fab little cafe in Dorking, fresh ingredients, lots of it locally sourced, good variety on the menu all served by friendly staff. Their coffee and breakfasts are the best in town. It's usually easy to park outside so it's perfect for takeaways too. They also have a great catering service that I've used for functions (work lunches, a wake and a birthday party) they are very reliable, offer a great choice of foods to suit all budgets and tastes - I can't recommend them highly enough!
