A great shame, it seems like it won't open again. When it was open during the pandemic, there was dishwater coffee and dreadful cake that came in industrial packets!

Friendly welcoming small café with outdoor seats and tables. In current situation of Covid the menu is restricted to only a few items - I had a very nice mid-day cheese and ham toastie and americano. Free parking and plenty of it for the adjacent Branston water park.

Called in with a friend after we had walked along the canal and round the water park. Very pleased to be told we could bring our dog inside. Only a small area to sit in on the inside but ample outside seating available. Lovely friendly welcome. Nice coffee and cake. Quite a selection of "eats" available.

I’ve been here before usually when going the wrong way for easy access on the A38. It’s worth the effort though. The food is put together fresh & worth it. The coffee is good & the service is top top. A nice selection for a small place & usually a nice fresh cake.

After a lovely walk around the lake what a nice place to stop for refreshments and a chat. Our walk made us ready for 2 nice sausage sandwiches and 2 Good COFFEE'S.But the cafe has a good selection of eats and drinks. The lady on duty the day we called was very nice and chatty which we both like.It makes it so much better for chats with the staff you find out lots of local information. There are plenty of seats and dogs are welcome.

Just what you need for a quiet walk in the park. Coffee and a good choice of cakes and snacks for the kids. Plenty of seating as well as parking at the park near by. Great view of the lake too.

We had tea and coffee (mocha) Tea was OK but not especially wonderful. Mocha was OK but it was very sweet, not very hot and it looked like foam on top.

A lovely small café which we used when walking around Branston Water Park. The menu is restricted but looks good. We only had a cup of coffee after taking the dogs for a walk - very clean and inviting both inside and out.

I visited the café with a few friends from a social group. We were walking alongside the canal on a bleak and miserable November morning. The welcoming Hub Café in the Branston Water Park was a great place to stop for an hour's refreshment in order to recover for the next leg. I chose the sausage sandwich which was very tasty and reasonably priced but there were a number of simple cooked alternatives including bacon, tomato, egg which I could have chosen. The rest of the group had coffee and locally made cake and they all agreed it was very tasty. There is a good choice of coffees, teas, soft drinks and ice creams. A number of positives need to be pointed out. Joy , who runs the café, is a pleasure to talk to. The cafe welcomes walkers (and their boots) with or without their dogs as well as bikers and other canal users or just visitors to the Water Park who can use free car parking facilities. The café is open everyday apart from Mondays and Tuesdays between 10am and 3pm. This is a local business which is worthy of your support and a great place to go to as you visit the park or make your way along the canal.

A Wednesday walk with our Border Collie brothers at Branson Water Park gave us an opportunity to pop into the on-site cafe The Hub. Although small inside there are picnic tables on the side patio. We ordered two Toastie sandwichs and two Mocha coffees. This was quickly delivered by the ever smiling Caren and eaten even quicker by Anne and I ! Very tasty and not expensive. Opening hours are a bit hit and miss out of season but please try The Hub if you are at the Water Park. I do'nt think you will be disappointed.

Janine was very friendly and helpful. She served me a toasted sandwich and a latte coffee. We had a lovely chat. She clearly enjoys her role and wants to forge good relations with her customers. She offers bags of 'proper' duck food for customers to take. I believe this is funded out of her own pocket. What a lovely idea and educational for our youngsters.

This is a small but nice place, a coffee and toasted tea cake went down a treat. you must give it a try. A lot of reviews for this cafe are under Branston Water Park, so it misses out on being higher up the list.

The Hub is only small, just a few tables inside and a few outside, but it's just what the water park needed. Nice choice of cakes, toasties, bacon butties, hot and cold drinks. Staff are friendly and the location is perfect, looking right out over the lake.

We called in here for coffee and cake before having a walk around the Water Park. Serves the usual choice of teas and coffees, breakfast rolls, toasters and filled baps. Our coffees were large and hot and my choice of chocolate cake was delicious. My husband had a chocolate muffin which was wrapped. There was also Bakewell Cake which looked homemade. They only have four tables inside but there is additional seating outside. Lady that served us was very friendly. We were there on a Thursday morning and were the only ones there. They also sell ice cream. Toilets are next door, outside. The Hub is a welcome addition to the Water Park.

Good service with nice decor and friendly staff. Good choice on menu hot and cold and I had a window shop in the cake area. Had Welsh Rarebit and Eggs Benedict and delicious. One poached egg slightly hard but as a person who doesn't make them as know it is hard to time consistency still good.

Went to this place for my daughters 5th birthday dinner. Staff decorated the area so well and left quiet alot of thing on the table like goddy bags balloons etc. Service was spot on from all the staff including the sweet girl who served us. 100% recommending and coming back. Just call and tell them I'm advance about the occasion and they go above and beyond to make it special xxx

Best burger and loaded fries in Burton. The service from the lady working on Wednesday is awesome. She has a great smile, is welcoming and friendly. She deserves a pay rise.

We were so looking forward to our breakfast and then unbeknown to us, the restaurant was inundated with dogs. It is not made clear on the website that this is a dog friendly restaurant or I would not have booked as one of us is allergic to dog hair. Such a shame. The dog area should be separate. Not the dining experience we all want to share. Never got to taste my eggs benedict. 😔
