I really enjoyed my visit. I had a bacon baguette & it was well filled. I also had a coffee. The time I was there I just relaxed & watched the world go by. I would certainly go again when I'm there with my partner.

Had egg on toast and didn’t think you could mess it up until I tried here. Eggs were hard and not runny in the slightest and had an almost rubbery taste to them. Toast was thin sliced and the cheapest of the cheapest bread with an orange juice this came to around £6. Will not be visiting again much better cafes on Gloucester Road.

Unpretentious, spacious cafe on the Gloucester Road that does breakfasts and sandwiches. Friendly service, but, a little oddly, the staff had clearly never before encountered anyone asking for a ham, cheese and tomato sandwich. But it was fine. They lose a point for adding sugar to the cappuccino I ordered, which I didn’t want.

Dueño muy agradable de hecho. La comida estaba bien preparada y muy buena relación calidad-precio. La cafetería estaba limpia y luminosa, había mesas bien espacios y había mesas / sillas afuera si deseaba cenar allí. Sin duda volveremos.

Dirty floor, dirty tables, dirty counter. Staff no interested at all. Ground floor tables full with teenagers charging the phone and using the toilet. WiFi was ok and coffe was decent, but terrible Starbucks standards, this is not what it used to be. Won't ever return here.

I went with my young son and wife during the run up to Christmas where I had booked a week off work to get my Christmas shopping done. It was a good day out overall, but sadly my attempt at some respite in this Costa was thwarted by one abhorrently rude member of staff. It started when I ordered our drinks at the till. Mine and my wife's drinks were fine, but when I asked about the free 'babycchino' for my son, the woman on the till- Anna- told me they had run out of the small cups for the kids drinks and that they'd have to charge us for a whole regular size cup of milk if we wanted one! After stating the obvious that Anna could simply put a small amount of milk in a regular cup, she huffed, poured out the drinks and abruptly handed me the tray. When we sat down, the tables were messy and sticky. Granted it was busy and the run up to Christmas, but basic hygiene is not a duty that should be shirked. After finishing I needed to use the restroom, so I went to the right of the tills and queued for use of the loo. When I got in there I could hardly breathe. The smell was awful. I went straight out to the tills and spoke to Anna again to tell her that the their toilets needed attention. I got the same huffy attitude from Anna who told me that they were nothing to do with her as the toilets were managed by Primark. She didn't even contact her Primark colleagues or a manager to let them know that someone had smeared excrement on the floor in there. Truly a shocking experience.

Just went here to meet a group of my colleagues for something to eat and was told that they were doing takeaway only .I asked if they had changed the closing time as it was only 3pm and she replied that they were closing early as it had been quiet ! I ordered a takeaway coffee and phoned friends to change cafe .Photo is of the large cappuccino! Half a cup of cold coffee. Don't bother going here lots more lovely coffee shops close by.

Turned up at 1720 to have a juice but was told by a rather sullen lady that I could only have coffee as they were closing at 6. Then she over charged me.. not very welcoming.

Branch in the Royal West of England Art Gallery, Queen’s Road, Bristol. Summer infusion teas were totally stunning and, unlike most cafes, had no sugar or syrup in them. Peach/Berry was superb and the Earl Grey (tho obviously a bit sour due to its nature) was also v good. (1 other flavour I didn’t try). Staff exceptionally friendly & helpful. Lovely venue (inside the Gallery building) with metal seats (I think it was) & small tables outside. NOTE a year’s Pass is currently £16 to visit exhibitions as much as 1 wants, so only about £5 or less each time.
