Amazing customer service, and the coffee was extremely good.

Trainee seemed to do all the work, leader spent every moment available on her phone, she managed the odd table delivery if needed. Toastie and coffee were excellent but carrot cake was very dry, must have been there a while.

The staff was lovely and was so quick. The portion sizes are great and the coffees were piping hot. Everything was fresh and tasted lovely.

Nice spacious location to stop with your family or loved ones. Nice outside area when it's summer. Very pleasant staff. Witnessed a rather unpleasant customer complain about a purchase and the blonde staff member held herself with great dignity when trying to meet said customers demands. Good food and coffee selection.

Trainee barista is so unbelievably rude. Slow uncaring service. Dirty toilets with no soap at 9am.

Zeer vriendelijk personeel. We hadden een latte, americano, milkshake en iced latte.

I don't actually have any comment on the café but one staff member who worked every friday always remembered me and was so lovely. She was also very helpful with the difficulties from me being on crutches. That being said I actually don't like the coffee here and think it's all far too overpriced.

Its a cafe nero so you know what to expect, however if you are in the area there are alot of independent cafes to try. The ever changing seasonal beverages do often drag me back and have yet to let me down when I need a sweet treat and there is plenty of outdoor seating so perfect when the sun is out.

It’s sweltering in the store! I couldn’t stand in there long enough to get a coffee, it’s like a greenhouse, immediately felt faint and sweaty. I’m not surprised the staff look so deflated and demoralised, if I cannot wait in it for two mins I don’t know how they work hours in that heat. Unsurprisingly, the entire inside was almost empty! Please get it fixed as I normally love it in here and the service is normally wonderful! Definitely lost a customer!!

I write this review as a regular and loyal customer of many years. I give this Cafe Nero branch the highest scores because of the excellent service given by the hardworking staff. They serve well, treat the customers well and do everything that makes it a very special place to be. HOWEVER, there is no air-conditioning working! With windows on two sides that reach almost from floor to ceiling, and outdoor temperatures of 28 and 29 degrees centigrade, it is like an oven!!! It is hotter inside than outside. I am a regular customer because of the high standard of service, coffee, food and surroundings, BUT I couldn’t stay when I came today. I have been in on several days and found the heat to be unbearable! I turn round and leave. My friends say the same. Impossible heat! Today, I think only two customers were sitting inside the cafe but across the road, in Eat-a-Pitta, the air conditioning was bliss. I went in the fish and chip shop; it was cooler there. To be honest, unless there is Air Conditioning in Cafe Nero Clifton, I cannot see how I can sit there during the summer. The summer hasn’t even started and the regulars will vanish if the cafe remains like a furnace! PLEASE GET AIR CONDITIONING WORKING.

Appalling. Toilets filthy. No toilet paper, no soap, broken seat covered in urine, floor squelchy with water and urine. Reported the issue to Zara behind counter and told she would check it but never did for the half hour we were there. 4.05 for a milkshake made with mainly ice. Then cocoa powder and milk. No one behind till for the first 3 minutes. When went to get a spoon told to wait while delivery unpacked. The worst visit to a cafe I have had for many years. Will NEVER return.

All in all, not impressed this visit! Thinking that you can always rely on this chain for good food and drink we chose to have lunch here. How wrong we were. Cheese and ham toastie, and sausage roll ordered, tea, and special coffee. Told by staff we had to link payment to stamps card on app ... when in fact we didn't! Took absolutely ages to actually get drinks, our food arriving at the table way before receiving drinks. I went to sit down whilst my husband waited for the drinks .... no idea why this took so long, but staff seemed to be faffing with anything and everything behind the counter except making drinks! Eventually we had everything, but when cutting into sausage roll it was hot on the outside and cold in the middle. Took this back to be heated, and waited an age for a replacement, by which time we'd had our drinks and shared the toastie. The sausage roll second course was v nice though. Tables and floor filthy. No signal for mobile. Toilets weren't signposted so had to ask. Loos downstairs had no signage either. Even managed to serve poorly made tea, with HOT milk!! And a teapot whereby the lid fell off when poured!! On the plus side the cinnamon latte was lovely, but didn't get a picture as cream had collapsed by the time this reached the table. Photo of the cafe exterior as this looked nice.

Worst coffee I've ever had and spent £16 on. Ended up having to get a new coffee somewhere else.Never coming back again.

One of the most aesthetically pleasing Caffé Nero's I've been to! It's lovely!

When I went in, the door could barely stay open and hit my hand, I picked up a bottle of coke from the fridge and I could barely read the price tag, then waited in a queue for 5 minutes and when I finally got to the counter, the woman struggled to understand what I said so then I just walked out

The place is located in a very nice and quiet area. Nice luxury hot chocolate, not to sweet and quite rich. There are seats downstairs, but it's quite plain and near the toilet, so If there are available seats on the ground floor that's the best option.

I've always liked this cafe. Despite it being a national chain, it's got a good location (great for people watching in Clifton), and the staff are always friendly in my experience. Overall ambience is OK (a bit "chain"-like but not too bad). Even recently in Covid-times, have used them for take-outs since I very much like Nero's coffee. Recommended.

Standard cafe Nero. Fine but not amazing coffee, polite staff, clean enough, overpriced, some fittings old and rickety.

This caffe Nero is possibly the best in Bristol mainly because it's located in beautiful Clifton village. it's quite small inside, and you don't have too many seats so avoid to visit on Saturday or Sunday afternoon. I like to go there in the morning, when I want to relax with a Capuccino and enjoy the beautiful architecture outside. A must!

Location of this Nero is nicely placed in Clifton, Bristol. During a sunny day they provide tables and chairs outside which results in a great coffee setting. I personally like to sit here near a window or outside and have a coffee while enjoying the nice cars that pass by these road as Clifton is known for their High Class residents. The shop seemed cleaned and followed covid-19 regulations well. I do respect covid regulations and i am happy when restaurants and coffee shops follow them well; but was disappointed you aren't allowed to ask for your coffee in a glass anymore... only cardboard cups now.

Right alongside a street market, so a great place to grab a quality coffee whilst getting the fresh essentials ,parking is limited so check it out first. A busy friendly place with good staff and service. Many other shops are within easy strolling range

Not only is this Nero my local, I also believe it represents the pinnacle of franchised coffee houses. I can pop in anytime and say ‘the usual please $staff_member’ Once I’ve explained what I’m talking about I always get a decent Coffee.

This cafe is absolutely amazing, great drinks great service and snacks , every time I’ve come here I’ve been please however I do have one complaint , this is the bathroom , some times I have come here the toilets are either blocked or very dirty , I do realise the staff take time to help customers, but this is just something I’ve noticed could be improved on . Nice coffee shop I used to stop hear on my way to work. The staff are lovley and always made my drink fast.

My daughter comes to this coffee shop after school to do her homework and be safe until her dance lessons. The staff at Cafe Nero Clifton are absolutely lovely to her and have always gone out of their way to look out for her. It's so reassuring to know that she is sat with a warm drink in a safe and friendly place : )

Typical Caffe Nero - good, but not the best.

The waiter there 'jack' was extremely helpful and professional the level of service I experienced was second to non, if this member of staff is anything to go on I highly recommend this establishment.
