A solid home cooked roast, very tasty, locally sourced, prepared with care & love. Helen and Tony cover all bases here including huge Yorkshire puddings and very tasty roast potatoes (thank you Tony), Helen takes care of the meat, which changes with what's best in class and in season. Always served with a beaming smile from Helen, with a follow up from the bar staff or Helen to make sure everything has landed well. Extra gravy is never a problem and in the winter, there is always a couple of open fires making sure the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. It's a proper pub with loads of character and lively conversation. Sometimes, there can be a sing along in the afternoon, when you never know what someone may attempt to play from some of the many musical instruments available, some hit, some miss, but overall everyone has fun and a good laugh.

Helen and Tony are devoted to what they do. Have been fantastic in helping with Aid To Ukraine and even coming on the 3rd trip. Laid back place with friendly regulars

Booked a table and we were warmly welcomed and shown to our seats. Only roasts served on a Sunday but the kids were offered chicken nuggets and chips. The roast was amazing, a choice of pork, lamb and beef with all the trimmings. We were joined by Brandy the beautiful pub dog who cleaned the kids faces for us before we left. It was like going round to someone's house for a roast, will definitely be back again. Great price too compared to other pubs in the area.

A real old drinkers pub. There are 4 hand pulls but only 1 ale which is Taylor Landlord in this old Morland pub. Lovely open fires and welcoming atmosphere.

I am the delivery driver for this area and visit the pub very often. I am always welcomed with very friendly faces and their little fur babies (thought I would get a pic in of these gorgeous friendly dogs who always come to say hello) I stop here regular for lunch and a drink, the welcome I get is second to non and prompt. Local sourced produce is on the menu and it tastes very fresh. I have heard that their Sunday roast dinners are very popular and I can't wait to take my family here to try this. Thank you to the team and fur babies for making each visit to you very welcome and may I continue to deliver to you with a smile 😊

Stopped off a for a quick pint on a Saturday lunchtime. It all worked well with one-way covid system, good cheerful service and excellent beer. Looks like a burger-and-chips type menu but we didn't stop for food and weren't there on Sunday which by other reviews goes down a storm. I would have put 4 /5 but all the others are 5 - so who am I to disagree?

Popped in to wish an old workmate a happy birthday. Great live band, good friendly atmosphere and staff. Only minor issue was parking spaces, not enough to knock a rating star though.

Amazing value for money. Very friendly service. We had visited during the week and decided to come back for Sunday lunch. We had the trio Sunday meal which consisted of pork belly, lamb and beef, 4 veg, boiled and roasted potatoes, Yorkshire pudding and stuffing. All cooked to perfection. Thank you for the lovely service.

Helen & Tony, their staff & not forgetting Buster the pub dog couldn't be more welcoming. There is a lovely warming fire lit during the winter months & a great pub garden for the sunnier days. Safe to say I have now become a frequent visitor to the Harrow. Highly recommend coming in for a Sunday Roast, great value for money and fantastic portion sizes.

We often come here for Sunday lunch and have never been let down. Excellent quality meat, large fluffy yorkshires, fresh veg and plenty of home made gravy. Everyone (including Buster the Boxer) is friendly and welcoming. Never had room for a starter or sweet but I am sure they are equally good.

The pub it's self is a little tired but this adds to the atmosphere, especially with the fires lit. They serve a good range of real ales from the Morlands Brewery - and they know how to keep good real ale. Also good selection of lager and cider. We booked a table in the restaurant and initially where a little disappointed by the menu but when we ordered (fish n chips, sausage and mash, ham egg and chips) and the food arrived we totally changed our minds. Properly cooked, fresh, local and huge portions of great tasting food. Plus not only was the chef great they cooked for just us. The dessert was out of this world - roly poly and proper custard. I loved this traditional, atmospheric, small village pub with great food and drink with excellent service and great value, great tasting food.

Came here with my family after a heavy night. Wasn't expecting much. But wow. Massive portions, fresh vegetables, giant homemade Yorkshire, plenty of meat and proper gravy. Bargain at the price of under £12 for one meat. Extra £1 per extra meat. My sisters broadbean risotto (the veggie option) looked good too. Probably enough for two people. They do puddings as well. I saw jam poly on the menu. PROPER. The bloody Marys helped with the hangover. All in all. A proper local pub that sells great food with warm, welcoming and friendly service at great prices.

I came in almost accidentally. I had a really bad experience with some hotel food that i decided I really needed a burger to satisfy my hunger, really not expecting to have the best burger I think i have ever had in England. I do not say this lightly as i travel lots and eat lots of food all over! Great quality smash burgers made to order which can be customised! I didn't get to catch the guys name, but he was clearly very passionate about food and told me a little of his background involving the butcher trade!

Went there to celebrate our daughter's birthday. The Crown were very good in that we were slightly late due to heavy traffic. The choice of food was very good and there was a quality menu available for children. Following placing our orders there was a little bit of time to wait as everything was freshly cooked to order. The plates were filled with appetising food. A thoroughly enjoyable meal which everyone including the youngsters are. Plates were cleared. The gammon was fabulous as was the pie dish - there was a choice of three pie dishes. The halloumi burger was also thoroughly enjoyed by the Birthday girl. Service was friendly, attentive and polite. The explanation of the types of house menu pie options was very thorough.
