I’ve been a regular here for a very long time! The pub is just getting better and better! I popped in yesterday for dinner with my partner and we ended up staying for the live music! Sunday sessions are my new favourite!Cracking atmosphere and friendly staff and customers

Came for lunch ordered 2 tuna melt baguettes with chips. When it arrived it was a ciabatta and the size of a child's meal. We asked why it wasn't a baguette, to be told they were still waiting for an order of them so we're using ciabatta. My friend asked surly you should let people know when they order so they could choose something else if they didn't want that. The reply was I don't know !! Definately not worth the money and definately will not be returning. Awful.

Wow! Brilliant. Staff were excellent, food was fab. Amazing atmosphere. Really enjoy bingo on Wednesdays so would definitely recommend.

Family pub everyone was well catered for. Cigarette smoke filters in from smokers outside entrance. The food was pretty good. Standard pub fare. Espresso coffee was awful. The staff did their job.

We came here for food yesterday with a party of 8, we where welcomed with a smile from emma and shown to our table we all ordered on the app as the bar was quite busy, the food was amazing and very well presented. The drinks where delivered to our table in fresh branded glasses The whole experience was amazing and next family get together we know where we will be going Thanks team hollow!

Like the breakfast and cosy dining environment. The restroom for ladies is also clean and lovely 🥰

I visited this establishment with my family over the weekend and was welcomed by a lovely warm atmosphere. The staff were absolutely amazing, they were all so lovely and polite and gave wonderful recommendations. The food was absolutely delicious, I went for the chicken burger with a side of onion rings, definitely recommend. Overall I had a lovely experience visiting the Bailey’s court. From the wonderful staff to the delicious food I couldn’t have asked for anything more!!!

Always love coming, big outside space great for wheelchair access. Great food I have buttermilk chicken strips and popcorn and it was lush and juicy. Literally can't fault this establishment and the people who work here are a testament to it. Or however it's said haha

Reserved table was ready at booked time. Greeted by friendly staff. Food was prepared quickly and was hot. Well cooked and presented. Overall, a very good experience. Thank you

Great pub for catching up with friends and family. Indoor and outdoor seating. Food was good, although a few menu items were unavailable on this occasion.

A welcoming pub on a housing estate, handy for guests staying at one of the hotels around Aztec West (Junc 15 M5). We arrived on Sunday (28 Jul 24) at around 7:30pm. The garden was busy with families enjoying the sunshine but the interior was quite quiet with a few diners and drinkers. We were served quickly and the food was of a much higher standard than the usual pub fayre. A good selection of drinks averagely priced as was the food. Friendly staff; we couldn't ask for a better experience and can confidently recommend the 'Hollow Tree' to those living or visiting the area.

Great local pub and fantastic staff. Much improved food, standard pub type menu, but definitely worth an upgrade to 5* in comparison to recent years.

Had a lovely 'pop in pint' as we call it, ended up staying for a cheeky mid day roast under Jordan's recommendation; must say was a treat. Was blessed to a lovely chat from Jordan and Amie whilst food was brought and drinks were poured. I know we are a fussy pair but Jordan, Amie and the team this sunday did sort us a wonderful meal and over all experienance, must say we will be returning. Many thanks, Gill and Ian

We arrived tired on Friday and this pub was just around the corner to our hotel. I had forgotten we had been there before, but this review will act as a reminder. As it was a Friday, we booked a table online in case it was busy. Unfortunately, the booking system is only checked daily or at the start of each shift, and so there was no record of our reservation. It didn't matter as the pub was not too busy and we found a quiet corner. As suggested by the staff, I tried to use the app to order, but it showed that there was no beef lasagna. I also had a problem adding the drinks we wanted (could not find a 'tap water' option), so I went to the bar. There was a queue, but the service was efficient and the lasagna was in stock. I had the surf & turf. The steak was unevenly cooked and most of it was 'well done' rather than 'rare-medium'. The side salad with the lasagna was really good. However, overall the food was pretty basic and I think I could have found better value elsewhere for less (Greene King?) or better quality locally for a similar price (The Swan on Gloucester Road?). If you want something that is predictable, mass produced and basic then maybe go here. Personally, I will avoid it.

We were shown to our reserved table which was clean and ready for us We ordered and our meals were served quickly, hot and perfectly cooked. We were not rushed to finish and left in our own time. A good all round experience.

Went to the Hollow Tree on Saturday where an excellent singer was performing. Great atmosphere so also went in Sunday to have a roast dinner. It was lovely. We will be visiting again.

I just like this place, it's not too crazy busy, the floor doesn't smell of cider. Food is really nice as well and you can get lighter versions of pizzas and burgers with salad sides or smaller sizes which is great if you don't want a full on pub meal or looking to just eat a small bite of something nice. Pub quiz is always fun, there's lots on all week and deals with drinks and food throughout the week. Recommended.

Had a really good experience. Came in to watch some football and stayed for the drinks and food. Service was quick and good was very tasty. Definitely gonna come back again. 👍

Came in with the family for pints and food. Good selection of drinks. Had a cod and chips which was fantastic and was also massive absolute steal for the price

Really enjoyed my food, cider tasted nice only had 3 to choose from but good range of bottles. Brent was really friendly and a good chat. Felt like a proper pub with a nice atmosphere.

Well it certainly is the pub for the peasants, people without taste, and with patronising staff. Ideally the pub should stop being there for the working classes alone.

Had a lovely evening with friends at The Hollowtree Bradley Stoke. The staff including Charlotte and Caine who ran the fun quiz were an asset to the pub. The food was good value for money and drinks were a reasonable price. The pub was clean and tidy. Will be back.

Had pizzas which was really nice but a shame that the pizza chef had no hair net and walked into the kitchen multiple times without washing his hands when he came back out to complete the pizzas. The worker at the bar was working by herself when it was busy had to wait in a que for drinks. However, another lady helped me to to find the allergen list online, which was really kind. Was served with a smile though no matter how busy it was great customer service. Food was lovely.

Friendly staff , good service, good food even had a free pint as it was on a midweek offer night. I'll be back again soon .

Brilliant food great service and atmosphere

Just moved back into the area and my wife and I weren't keen to cook, after the moving, so we popped in to The Willow Tree. So glad we did!!!! We were made to feel very welcome by Mitch and all of the other staff. It was a Monday evening so we decided to try the Pizza and drink offer. 10/10!! I had the Meat Lovers and my wife had the spicy chicken, both with a glass of their house red. It was excellent. We've subsequently been back for the Wednesday Curry and drink special and Thursday's Steak and drink special. We upgraded our steaks to the Sirloin. 3 night's, 3 GREAT meals, 3 amazing sets of staff. WE'VE FOUND OUR LOCAL 🙏🙏🙌🙌

We use this pub normally for drinks (excellent service and range) - the cleanliness is excellent too. This time we ate (we both had burgers). These were the best we have tried anywhere for a long time. Highly recommended. Well done Emma, Amie, Mitch Brent and team. The best pub in the area by a mile!

my wife and myself use this pub alot. We also spend a lot of money here. They NO LONGER GIVE CHIPS WITH YOUR dinner , you get FRIES. WE WERE TOLD MARSTONS MADE THE DECISION TO USE FRIES. WE will no longer eat here and go to a pub which sells CHIPS. YOU WONDER WHY PUBS ARE GOING TO THE WALL.

Had the double spicy burger and it was one of then beat burgers I’ve eaten in a while. You could taste the flame grilling in it. Great value for money on great food and drink, would recommend.

Always a friendly welcome when we walk in the door. We were in with friends for food and drinks, the time from ordering to the food arriving at our table was great. We had Burgers & Steak, the steak was a perfect medium rare, burgers fab and all nice and hot. Both wines were good, particularly the French Cabernet Sauvignon.

We went a few weeks ago and arrived on a Thursday early evening. The bar server was struggling with the queue and was stating how he was concerned about the weekend weather and how busy they would be. We placed an order for food using the app. The food arrived 50 minutes after ordering it was presented and no cutlery. The fries were cold and had to be sent back to the dismay of our server. The fries came back the same ones just in a hot bowl. No food check and no apologies. We complained, and that was a joke they couldn't find the email. Then, over a week to reply to a standard response, so basically sorry, and that was it. A complete awful experience from start to finish, and we will not be returning.

Needed a location last minute for 25+ people to celebrate a life. The Landlady Emma was more than accommodating, bar and waiting staff Jordan, Adam, Shay and Kirsty made sure all our needs were meet. Very friendly welcoming pub.

The online ordering system was very easy to use and our drinks arrived quickly. The waiter was very friendly too.

Enjoyable evening...but why are there only chips with most meals ...why can we not gave jacket potatoes or mash...not everyone likes chips...so thus evening I had a starter and a pudding as I didn't want chips or rice

I ordered the lighter version steak with rice/mixed bean salad. It didn't come with this salad, just a leaf salad. I was not told on ordering that the rice had run out. On complaining the bar attendant was very apologetic and admitted my order was wrong. I was offered chips or a free pudding which was a lovely gesture but ruined my diet. Very understanding staff though.

I’ve eaten and drunk in here many times and every time the food, drink and the efficiency of the staff have been superb. The staff are always attentive and the quality of food has been very good and reasonably priced. I’ve attended a number of the band nights they’ve put on and I’ve never once seen a bad band. The Hollow Tree management staff clearly take pride in what acts they bring in, to make sure the acts suit the pubs clientele and atmosphere. Helen was a fantastic server! Very polite and quick!

Can't comment on the food, but based on other comments from friends ive rated it a 5. But I can comment on the atmosphere and service which were both great. I gigged here and there was a great vibe from everyone, and the staff were top notch. Hope to be back here again soon.

I love The Hollow Tree! It's my local and it has such a varied menu that is so reasonably priced! Once again I had great service this time and the food came out quickly and was delicious! The nachos are such a great portion! Thank you all again for a great visit!
