The hippo house in Newcastle upon Tyne

Tried the Hippo House for the first time today and was so impressed! The salad boxes are fab, all of the food was so fresh! The grilled Halloumi salad box was so good!! The staff were so lovely too, I couldn’t fault the service. Definitely my new favourite lunch spot. #supportLocal

Este lugar es un pequeño café vienen tienda de sándwiches. Cada vez que voy, el tío que trabaja es muy agradable! Yo voy allí a la rara ocasión, pero sinceramente, si estás ofendido en poder ver las manos de la persona que tu sándwich entonces dejar de ir en vez de bad ningún algarabía un sincero poco negocios. No gourmet, pero tiene una buena relación calidad-precio!

Solía ser lejos la mejor tienda de sándwiches en la ciudad, con grandes cajas y ensalada de patatas. Cajas de ensalada solía venir con remolachas y huevo tiras - éstas se han ido por algún tiempo pero ya que la reforma que no venden hummus, a pesar de que es prominente en el menú! fuerte de Falafel era pobre, demasiado frío y esencialmente una caja de helada iceberg sin sabor con ninguna de las cosas interesantes que se utiliza para ir. Una pena, pero para las personas que no quieren comer carne o queso cada día de la semana nuevos lugares tendrán que ser encontrado.

If you are going to make food in front of people, please wear gloves (not something I ever normally notice, but the girl who made my sandwich, her hands caught my eye and they looked very unappealing for handling food) And if your ingredients didn't look very good quality and you are low on supplies, I'd think against using a deli counter until the food looks plentiful, fresh and appealing. Portion size very small and even at the price (only £3 for a sandwich) there are those that are doing it much better close by.

estado utilizando Hippo por algún tiempo, me gusta el personal, la comida es de buena relación calidad-precio y excelente calidad. Lo recomendamos especialmente los 'gran Reubens'.

A reasonably friendly welcome greets you as you enter The Hippo House, reasonably beacuse the staff don't seem very happy however this is the only fault as almost everything is made fresh to order. A very choice of tasty fresh sandwiches and as a good a flat white as anywheer in Newcastle, Cheer up though please!
