Great Sunday roast and great value for money. Service a little slow hence the 4 *… Veg cooked to perfection and all very tasty! We had chocolate brownie for dessert and that was equally as yum! Will definitely return ☺️

Good food had breakfast lunch and dinner here couldn't fault anything about it every meal was good and plenty of food on your plate

The food is SUPERB! Prices are average for the area and nothing is microwaved. I would suggest booking a table, although this is not compulsory

Went here for a warming lunch, had a lovely warm bowl of soup each and then cheeseboard between us, just what you need on a cold November day. Fabulous, have eaten here on a few occasions and always lovely food.

Muy buen desayuno y las bebidas en el bar no son muy queridos. Recomendaría este lugar a cualquiera que quiera alojarse en Yorkshire. Sólo un descanso o unas vacaciones.

Estuvimos en el bar y el bar de comida a la hora del almuerzo. Bastante estándar básico, pero el servicio era bueno y servicial. Nos tomamos el desayuno en el restaurante y el personal eran atentísimos.

The food here is great, well cooked and a good menu, nothing too fancy, but cooked well. The service is good.

Excellent food tasty and cooked and served with love and affection. Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff.

We have stayed on the sleep and dine package a good few times and have had a meal in the restaurant every time, the food once again was excellent as it always has been when we have visited, there is always plenty to choose from and i can certainly recommend the Fillet Steak, all the staff are are very polite and the service is excellent, we will be visiting again in the not too distant future

Very friendly staff, comfy seats and good spacing between tables. Good choice of A la carte and Daily menu, with all food well presented and superbly cooked. I'd say this restaurant shoots above it's weight with the quality of food it delivers. I didn't try the wine menu, but the beer on tap was fine. Just a shame Black Sheep wasn't there as well!

Went for an evening meal for my wife's birthday last Saturday, and was really impressed by the quality of service and friendly and efficient staff as well as top class food. We both had the smoked Salmon Starter and I then had the Roast Belly Pork dinner that was cooked to perfection and so tasty, my wife had the Sirloin steak with the peppercorn sauce that again was cooked to perfection, with a very nice bottle of Rioja it made an excellent evening. Will definitely be back.

Very dissapointing return visit to this bar. Poor menu with little to choose from. The rump steak we chose was both cold and tough. There is no atmosphere as there are no customers. Such a shame that this stunning hotel and bar in such a great location can't get the food right!!

Never really give reviews but felt compelled to do so after witnessing a young waitress (who was clearly new to her role) being very rudely reprimanded by whom I presume was the the chef at the carvery this afternoon. My wife and I felt both embarrassed and uncomfortable as we don't go for Sunday lunch to experience confrontation. It was the first and will certainly be the last time I'll be visiting this venue.
