Very nice place, food excellent and they also cater for vegetarian and gluten free.

Family meal of five adults and 3 children. We were given the 'doghouse' area which was fantastic because it kept us out of the way and the children could move around without being constantly told to sit down. Service was great and food arrived in a timely fashion. Good food that we all enjoyed - especially the whippy ice-cream desserts. Bouncy castle was a big hit too. We won't hesitate to book again.

First time visit with family. Sunday roast. Friendly welcoming atmosphere. The food was excellent and very tasty, hot and fresh also didn't have to wait long for it to arrive. There are plenty of choices good menu. Clean and very well run. Will definitely be back. Thank you to the staff that looked after us.

Service was really slow sadly and the food was really basic/average.

My wife, my nephew, and I had the most delicious three course Christmas day dinner at the Greyhound for the second year running. There was a wonderful atmosphere throughout the meal. The waiting team was without fault , not forgetting those in the kitchen who always seemed to get left out. We were told that a hundred takeaways were also cantered for. All of this was overseen by Landlady Tina . Thank you all for making our Chistmas day special. P.S. we have booked for next year .

It was our 35th wedding anniversary so we went here for Sunday lunch with my daughter & her partner, the food was faultless and staff so polite we highly recommend this pub to you all that read this.

At least 18 months since we last visited we are not that local but decided on the spur of the moment to go for Sunday lunch we were lucky to get a table because they had a same day cancellation. We were not disappointed the food was amazing as always great value for money home cooked fayre and a lovely warm and welcoming atmosphere it was so good hubby says we are going back again next week.We didn't have the Sunday lunch and opted for something off the specials menu this time but the 2 course Sunday lunch is such good value . The team at the Greyhound are all great and should be very proud of what they do

I visited here last Sunday for The Greyhound's Sunday roast. Myself and my family had the roast and it was absolutely delicious! not only was the meat cooked to perfection but the gravy matched to it's standards! To top this amazing meal off, we were delighted by incredible desserts! The honourable mention of all was the Cappuccino brulee - I am going to be recommending this to everyone! Thank you for such amazing service, we will be returning!

Family love going for meals there!

Went for a Sunday roast post football match and it didn’t disappoint! 5 of us had the offer with a pudding included for £15 each. The food arrived quickly considering the pub was packed. It was hot, great portion size and delicious. Pudding menu was much bigger than we expected as it was part of a deal and everyone was very happy with that too. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend!

On a wet and miserable day, what better than to have a delicious Sunday dinner at the Greyhound. Very important to us is the kind of greeting you receive as soon as you enter. At the Greyhound, there is always a warm greeting. We started with a delicious prawn cocktail , followed by a roast lamb dinner. The roast is a generous portion of deliciousness, with gravy so thick that it won't run through your fork. Sorry to say we had no room for a pudding but a freshly filtered coffee to finish a lovely lunch.

A disappointing dining experience. Tasteless fish, and a small portion of chips, (hiding successfully under the battered fish), with overcooked, dry garden peas. The premises were well maintained. Toilets clean and plenty of car parking, but food standards have definately deteriorated. We won't be going back for a while. My wife, a coeliac, was offered a gluten free meal.

To celebrate my wife's birthday, we chose the Greyhound once again. We both started with their delicious prawn cocktail. My wife chose the beef Stoganoff, which she enjoyed very much. I went for the fillet steak, which was cooked to my request of medium rare and succulent. Our waitress, Sienna, was very welcoming and looked after us extremely well. We had no room for pudding , just a coffee. And never forget the chef , who is in a hot kitchen, turning piping hot food out. Landlady Tina, thank you. My wife stopped me from going on the free Bouncy Castle in the beef garden on the way out.

Great meal & service when called in for lunch with my teenage grandson. Our second visit - his request to return - and not disappointed.

Very pleasent, quiet. 1st class food, and and extensive menu, service reasonably fast. Personally I drink Bitter ale but they didn't have any.

Once again, the food at the Greyhound was really good . I had sirloin steak and the wife ha beef stroganoff, both of these after a very tasty Prawn Cocktail. We were well looked after by very pleasant staff.

I visited here after a circular walk through the countryside. The menu is extensive and the staff are very helpful and welcoming. The food was fresh and tasty. A great place for a quick bite or an evening with friends.

Excellent value food, great range. Meat from local butchers for burgers, steaks etc, and excellent gluten free options including separate fryer.

Surprisingly good, especially considering we ate here on Mother's Day which is notoriously hectic for any eatery!

I regularly use this Pub / Restaurant and will continue to do so, so obviously I quite like it but I have just one downside comment to make ! What on earth are the chips made from ??? I cannot believe that they are actually potato, more like softened plasterboard or powdery polystyrene I fear ? Otherwise, I have found the food great, sensibly priced and freshly cooked, as far as I can tell. The staff are great too, always friendly and obliging......It's just those b****y "chips" !

probably the best service i have received in a restaurant. Me and my partner had booked in for 3pm but were seated early about 2:45pm, we had ordered and before 3 we had our food, which was delicious and well value for money. For saying how busy the restaurant was the staff were friendly and attentive. would highly recommend to anyone, the best Sunday roast i have had for a while :)

We didn't eat we went in for coffee whilst waiting for family

My husband and I had lunch here on Saturday 10th feb, it was to celebrate his birthday. I had the steak pie and It tasted like perfume. I told the waitress and asked her to smell it. She took it in the kitchen and they all agreed that there was washing up Liquid in the pie bowl. She asked if I wanted another, I said no. My tongue was tingling. I felt sick all day. They let us off the bill but no manager or chef come out to apologise. The waitress was lovely. But it wasn’t enough. I understand accidents happen but this was outrageous. We felt completely let down after being recommended to go there on my husbands special day.

My friend had booked a table for 11 of us and it was ready for the time specified we were made to feel welcome the staff were friendly and patient with us and let us take our time when ordering.overall great service.

We have never had a bad meal here. The staff are so Friedan’s efficient. It’s our go to place for Sunday lunch

Was just passing through with my boyfriend and stopped for a meal. It was the best pub food we have had in a long time. The fish and chips were delicious and cooked so well and the calamari was also very tasty and well presented. The food was of great quality and the wait time was not long at all! The staff were friendly, polite and approachable. Wish I stayed for dessert!

Lovely meal in nice surroundings. Great Pie - filling was exceptional. Staff nice and friendly. Local crowd were in by the look of it and contributed to a lovely friendly atmosphere.

We visited The Greyhoud inn on Wed 22nd Nov. We had a lunch here after finishing our walk. We have visited several pubs and had lunches in various oarts of Leicestershire. I found food served here is the Quality one and the price is reasonable too. We thoroughly enjoyed meal here. We will definately be back again . Please convey our thanks to the chef.

We have been here a few times now & the food has been very good each time. Four of us came each time & had different meals. We all enjoyed our choice & would go back again. We have yet to try the Sunday lunch.

Really lovely pub. 8 of us went and ordered eight different meals, each one was lovely and it all arrived together. Puddings were also very good. Service was fast and cheery. Couldn't have asked for more.

Third time for lunch, this time without dog. I had the steak ciabatta with brandy and peppercorn sauce served with chips and salad. The third time I’ve had this as it’s delicious. My partner had a special - chicken burger, cheese , bacon , salad and chips. The price on her dish maybe £2 too much, my ciabatta excellent value. Only very slight issue bacon under done. Service as usual was impeccable and on leaving we noticed they are doing a take out Xmas meal for £25 which looked tremendous for the price. It’s not only a great summer location with plentiful outside seating but very cosy inside. We were lucky to stumble across this establishment , hence returning twice and this will certainly not be the last time we visit.

Booked The Greyhound for family reunion on a Saturday for 18 people the meal was at 12o'clock three of our party were delayed and the management and the chef kindly delaid our meal for 45 minutes which was appreciated. We were ask when made the booking to vacate the table at 2.45pm but was not asked to move until after 3pm as they had other bookings and we could move to the bar area . The food all came out together and was very nice the potions were very generous too will happily be going again well done to the manager and staff top notch.

Lovely place and a lovely atmosphere. Staff very attentive. Lovely food, though not enough vegie or vegan options. The only offerings where spicy ones, and unfortunately, I don't like spicy food. All in all a lovely afternoon.

Perfect all round. Very pleasant surroundings and served by a very welcoming lady behind the bar. All our meals were cooked well and were great value for money. My son and I choose off the specials board while our ladies found what suited them from the wide choice on the main menu. We will be back without a doubt

Went here with my Car Club recently and decided to pop back in again because the food was so well made. Things are slightly expensive but don't be fooled by it - it's worth the xtra cost for the effort the waiters and chefs put in for a decent dining experience.

Always made very welcome and had a bouncy castle for my grandson.

First time here , looking for a place not too far away after a dog walk. Couldn’t fault it really, great beer garden, great service and great food. My steak and onion panini (maybe a baguette would have been better but that’s probably me being pedantic!) with a side of pepper and brandy sauce was superb and a very fair price. Will definitely return for a three course meal in the future.

Came here for a lunch and sat in the garden, food was delicious and staff were very friendly. We had 2 dogs with us and they were welcome.

The pub has lots of outdoor tables and the staff manage to run a busy pub with a smile on their faces...I was there with a motor club...and they did everything to make our stay there good... Well done, keep it up, you must visit it there...

After a visit to a nearby Driving Experience we were in need of some refreshments. Our closest pub was roe Greyhound Inn and we couldn’t have chosen a better venue! The charming lady who was doing bar and front of house was excellent at both! In no time we had drinks and 2 delicious sandwiches with 10/10 chips! All beautifully hot and well presented. We would highly recommend this pub -hence the review! Thank you Greyhound!

First time visit for Mother's Day. Husband had booked but did not realise that there would be a limited menu on the day (he doesn't do social media) and it wasn't put on the website. The food we did have was good quality and well presented. However, my husband was not well well later on in the evening - can only assume it was the prawn cocktail he had as everyone else in party was fine, and he was only one who had it. Did spoil the day a bit.
