The Grey Horse in Spelthorne

The soft drinks cost a fortune and arrived in small glasses that took my children 2 minutes to drink. The chips arrived stone cold, the food server didn't apologise and the replacement chips took ages to arrive. They weren't hot enough either! And look at their pathetic reply.

This is my daily routine staff are great. My only complaint is when Costa is used like a mother playgroup, screaming kids no regard for other customers and the absolute mess they leave everywhere for the girls to clean up. Mothers take your kids to playgroup, Not Costa!!

Went for a meal to celebrate my birthday with family. They were working under usual staff numbers but the level of service was still exceptional. Food came out piping hot, really flavourful. Great value for money. Wide variety on the menu to suit all tastes.

Don’t not stay here Windows don’t open so no fresh air in the rooms. Extractor fan doesn’t work in the bathroom so room stinks and is foisty all day from using the shower in the morning. Oh and AC doesn’t work either
