Had lambs liver with fried onions mash and veg. Excellent meal with great service. Could not fault anything, great to see you back and producing the finest meals

Though this place is slightly off the beaten track, if you have time to detour off of the A46 between Lincoln and Newark The Green Man is definitely worth visiting.Plenty of outdoor space and seating, both at the front of the pub and in a good-sized beer garden at the rear, plus a decent amount of indoor seating for the restaurant, considering current C19 restrictions.Party of three - myself, my wife, and a friend we hadn't seen for a year - arrived at about 5:40pm to find the place hadn't opened yet (not really surprised, considering its location) but when the staff realised we were there they opened up and let us in. The selection of drinks is small but varied, so finding something we all liked wasn't a problem, and the drinks were brought to our table promptly.Having decided to order food, the staff told us it'd be about 20-30 minutes before we could be served as the chef was still prepping. As we hadn't seen each other for so long we had a lot of catching up to do so the delay was not an issue.I ordered the 3-bone Lamb platter, my wife chose the Sea Bass and our friend went for the pie of the day.All of the food was excellent, well presented and cooked, with ample portions.Pricing was good, with the whole bill for three adults, including drinks, coming in at under £60In conclusion: though not on a major road, this place is close enough to the main route to be worth the side trip. The menu is small but varied, the food is excellent and the pricing highly competitive. Staff are friendly and helpful. it is probably best to phone in advance to check opening times, but our experience is that if you arrive a little bit early they'll open up and go from there.My first visit here, somehow I don't think it'll be my last.

We were surprised we were able to get a table at fairly short notice and after driving 11 miles through some lovely countryside we arrived at this gem of a pubAfter a pleasant greeting by the staff we ordered our drinks and meal. My husband had a starter of Fresh Asparagus and Mussels, his words delicious!Our main courses were of the same standard, very well cooked, nicely presented and very tasty. We will certainly be visiting again.

The food at the Green Man was fantastic. We felt the price was about right for the quality of the food. The service was also very polite. However, a number of issues spoilt the full experience. My partner was unable to have one of the special cocktails. We were told the owner knew the recipe and she wasnt there. The decor is light and fresh but the lighting is so bright it spoils the atmosphere and the service was so quick as to appear rushed. In summary, grat food but let down by a few details.

Fantastic Sunday lunch, two weeks on the trot. So much more than meat and a bit of veg. Really welcoming staff, Covid safe and nothing was too much trouble for Victoria and her team, even knocking up a birthday Long Island Ice Tea which was lush.

We haven’t visited The Green Man since Becky and Matt left last November. On our visit today we won’t be returning. Food not a patch on Matt’s so very dissatisfied, service extremely slow and fewer tables to serve. Plastic glasses felt like a child. Also being told we couldn’t take a Sunday lunch away with us very disappointed (Yes we know you are not a takeaway). I would of thought under the present climate the more plates out the door the better. Also having an elderly 95 year old in our group wanting to take her food home as she doesn’t eat much we were told she couldn’t do to start with. We won’t be returning.

Could not recommend the Green Man highly enough!! The food is always incredible and the staff couldn’t be more helpful or welcoming - all very friendly and very efficient service. The covid measures in place are very good and reassuring for those who are still feeling a little anxious about going out and about. Overall a lovely village pub that is certainly worth the trip to.

Visited with family for Sunday lunch. We all enjoyed our lunches. I particularly enjoyed the lovely variety of fresh vegetables with mine. Pork and beef were all good. Three children's meals with various changes were all provided and staff were very obliging with our requests.childrens meals so tasty I would choose their pasta dish. Lovely atmosphere in the pub. So pleased we rediscovered this place. Thank you.

I can really recommend The Green Man at Norton Disney, the food is delicious. Met a friend there & took advantage of the eat our to help out scheme - there was a good choice & could have easily picked out 2 or 3 things from each course on the menu. We shared a starter of ham & cheddar croquettes (delicious), both had flat iron chicken with garlic butter for main. The chicken was moist & tasty & came with some crisp bean beans, side salad & chips. Dessert was also very good - not huge portions of pud but we were pleasantly full.Staff are all really friendly & helpful. Can definitely recommend & we will be back :)

We chose to celebrate our wedding anniversary based on the pubs reviews and weren't disappointed. Lovely staff, service and meal. Highly recommended.

We had a lovely meal here to celebrate ours daughter's birthday. The quality of the food was more than pub grub and the service was very good. A real ale pub too.

The Green Man, recently re-opened following the closure of restaurants and pubs during COVID-19, has been our go-to eatery for some time; we live in a nearby village. Last night's experience was disappointing. The service was well below par with significant delays between ordering and receipt of meals. The management have clearly taken steps to mitigate the COVID risk including the use of plastic 'glasses' a shame in this single use plastic aware world compounded by 'pint to brim' glasses resulting in short measures, by some margin.Waiting staff attempting to remove drinks still 'on the go', an absence of cutlery accepting an at table drinks order then much later advising that they don't take drinks orders at the table when questioned as to the whereabouts of said drink. all made for a confusing experience. All this only mitigated by the sustained quality of the food.I can sympathise with the staff to a degree, the post COVID world is taking some getting used to, management need to make greater efforts in briefing their staff. Revert to proper pint glasses please.

We visited on a Sunday after completing a 5.5 mile circular walk which starts and finishes in the pub car park. We haven’t been to this pub for quite a few years and we were really impressed , it is done out lovely inside and they have very good Covid measures in place , toilets can be reached from outside and were immaculate. The owner was so friendly and the service was very quick. There is a large garden with ample outdoor seating, if you are sitting outside you order and pay for the food at the bar. We had the fish and chips and Brie started, everything was amazing and tasted so good, can highly recommend and we will definitely be back a lot sooner this time.

We phoned ahead on our way home from Lincoln earlier today and booked a table for two for 12.30pm.The menu was quite varied and we toyed with the idea of Liver and onions but both played safe and ordered our normal pork and beef roast dinners.We waited a short while and our food turned up piping hot and there was plenty on the plates including red cabbage and cauliflower cheese.The beef is served rare but can be changed on request.My wife enjoyed her pork lunch and both dishes were good value for money in this stunning little country pub at £14.95 each.Very good service, excellent service and a place worth considering.Visited 15th march 2020.

First visit here for Sunday lunch and we weren’t disappointed! Everything was great and the staff are really friendly. The desserts are to die for and homemade

We used to visit this place a lot but hadn’t been in a while. We noticed it was a bit different and after speaking to them we found out it had recently changed hands. It seemed very quiet compared to previous visits so we weren’t expecting good things... we were very wrong! The food was amazing!!! We will be back again!

The Green Man in Norton Disney is a really nice pub! I heard some stories about this place before the new year but I don’t listen to silly rumours- I make my own judgements. I used to come here before the changeover and I got a bit bored of the menu, it didn’t seem to change much and I always felt a bit awkward, I didn’t find the service very friendly or feel like I could speak but WOW!! The new owner has really turned it around. The atmosphere is much nicer, real homely feel, great music and absolutely amazing food!This is my 3rd time back recently and I’ve not been disappointed at all- had something different each time. There’s actually a variety of appealing dishes, not just the same one over and over like before. I can’t recommend the Green Man more for a family meal or a romantic date. This is definitely my first choice now- I went to a high end restaurant in Lincoln for my birthday- spent a fortune and got an average meal, nothing special and was gutted so not making that mistake again- Green man is the place to get a consistently good meal and good service

Sunday lunch to die for , I would definitely recommend this place . Fantastic staff , fantastic service and the nicest Sunday lunch I’ve had in a long time . I look forward to returning.

Needing a place to eat convenient for Nottingham and Lincoln we booked The Green Man at Norton Disney, basically because my mother had lived in the village as a child. The carpark was almost full when we arrived for Sunday lunch, so our expectations of a good meal were high, but nothing prepared us for the excellent service and varied menu. The roasts were huge, and tasty, with lovely fresh seasonal vegetables. My vegetable strudel was yummy. And the sweets! Fantastic! Well worth another visit.

I’ve eaten here a few times now and the food is absolutely excellent always good presentation. The waiters and waitresses are very nice make you feel welcome all the time always quick with service and both managers are extremely polite especially Sophie Would definitely recommend to everyone one of the best pubs I’ve been too!Josh J

Popped in for lunch on a Tuesday...very quiet as they have only just started opening on Monday and Tuesday.Large car park, inside the bar and restaurant are spotless and very welcoming. The food is delicious and beautifully presented..The service and presentation was of the highest level.Toilet areas immaculate. The Green Man is highly recommended MikeAslackby

I have not been to the Green Man for some time, however I booked a table for Sunday lunch for myself and a friend. The greeting was not warm. Unfortunately I needed to cancel so telephone to say that sadly I needed to cancel my booking. I was asked "the Reason" I have never in my life been asked this questions and then did I want to booked for the following Sunday or any other time. Smacks of desperation and I was not even thanked for letting them know. Who ever is answering the telephone should take lessons on Customer Service. It was very off putting so will not be returning and some more reviews are not good. Such a shame as this was the place to go.

I felt sorry for the poor young man working behind bar on his own whilst expected to take food orders and wait on tables, though it wasnt a particularly busy lunch time. He was sworn at (F word) in front of customers by a woman who said she was the manageress for an issue at another table, though she appeared to do nothing whilst we were there. The building was freezing(very elderly and young present were given short shrift when asked for the fire to be lit or having heating turned up). We had to ask 3 times for our drinks order, whilst another table had to ask a number of times for the correct utensils/bowl/napkin to eat mussels.The food was quite good, especially my partners main course, though my starter, wensleydale souffle lacked any discernible flavour.I wasnt aware the pub is now under new ownership, though this may explain the poor service and terrible work ethic and behaviour of the manager/owner(?) and shocking language to a very young member of staff.

6 of us fabulous food and great service, new people running this pub and it should be given a chance. Standard of food higher than basic pub level and a really fair price.

Ate here tonight and the food and service were very good! We were aware of some negative reviews on here recently and gave it a chance anyway, really pleased we did as it was a lovely night with yummy food!

Well what a great lunch I was served by a lovely helpful Lady- my beer was fantastic- the food 10 out of 10 . Booked for next Sunday quality always wins . Thank You Green Man .

We used to come here on occasion under the previous owner/management and it really was fabulous. As someone else said, Green Man you are fabulous no more ☹️. I had a chicken dish in a mushroom sauce. Chicken was well cooked, sauce was tasty, but the sautéed potatoes were overcooked and burnt. Partner had fish and chips. The batter was so overcooked it was burnt in places but the fish was just about cooked inside, meaning that they had cooked it in oil far too hot. Partners chunky chips were luke warm in the middle and tasted ‘not quite right’. I’ve seen a previous review stating that the chips appeared re-heated and I would agree with that. When I asked for the bill it took so long to be brought to us that in the end we got up and paid at the bar. The lad who was meant to be getting the bill seemed to have got sidetracked and was doing other tasks.

We have been great fans of this tucked away restaurant for a number of years, and are always willing to travel for exceptional food, ambiance and great service. We hadn’t visited for a few months, but booked Boxing Day lunch with the previous owner in September and got the last table available.

On December 4 we visited the green man for a birthday meal out, and what a disappointment it was, the meal itself was ok but the service was awful we was shown to our table then had to wait 20 minutes for our drinks and after ordering our meal we had to wait nearly an hour and a half with no explanation why, used to be a good pub but I would give it a miss, to the owners get your act together if you want to carry on the business.

The Green Man has been a fabulous place to enjoy great food and a friendly warm atmosphere.

were do i start ?.well had been told this was a first class roast dinner.well they were wrong.we had topside of beef.asked for it as rare as poss it came out dry and medium to well done.only two very thin slices.the veg was very nice,but the roast potato was absolutely terrible .im a trained chef and i cant understand why you cannot find a decent roast potato in lincoln area.gravy was like water.yorkshires were very good .sorry but wont be back

Had the Christmas menu at lunch time. Wonderful choice of foods and difficult to decide just what to choose. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The room was lovely and warm and the tables were not too close together. The food was great. there was no pressure to leave and we spent time enjoying each others company before reluctantly leaving to go home. It was a restaurant / pub we had stopped visiting before but will certainly visit reguarly now. We all felt that the atmosphere and ambience were truly wonderful.

Ate here last night as staying local. Lovely looking pub, very clean. Surprised as despite winter and almost freezing I sat by fireplace for warmth.....its glow was from candles not logs...several folk sitting in coats. Fab glass red wine had. Menu choice not vast but pleasant enough. Sadly the chips were clearly NOT fresh from the fryer..... I asked waiter if they were...to be told "they were cooked today"...and were brown from the batter they use... dark brown somewhat soggy chips slightly off beige in the middle are generally a sign of reheated... shame when fish and chips is 13.99!! No fresh ones sent out either...duck dish nice but nothing special atall for 17.99.

We were passing through the area and googled a pub at lunch time and, as your reviews were good, we thought we'd pop in. I eat out regularly and the chicken supreme was one of the best meals I have had out for a long time, the fact that it was gluten free without having to request this was even more of a bonus. Fabulous that it included the vegetables without a surcharge... A regular gripe in my local area. My husband has a burger everywhere he goes and said it was excellent. The young staff were very efficient and friendly. A shame we live so far away or we would definitely return.

I have visited alot of places in my travels and I rank the green man in the top 5. Wonderful atmosphere, amazing cuisine, very friendly and helpful staff.

We visited The Green Man on Saturday evening for our anniversary. The Green Man has always been a favourite of ours and we were not let down. The food was wonderful and the atmosphere was relaxed, and we were served by a lovely, polite waitress. Previously my only complaint was the slightly 'over the top' waitress that used to pop over to the table mid mouthfull to question if I'm enjoying my food. Thankfully, she was not present, a result perhaps of the style of the new management.

Oh no!! Change of ownership. This used to be one of our favourite places to go. We phoned to make a reservation for 6.30, they said could you make it 6. Why? There was nobody else in the pub apart from a drinker and no one else came until 6.30. The service was slow. Why? We were the only ones there.

Recently went and the service was absolutely wonderful. So glad this pub is under new management. The overall atmosphere since the changing of hands has been amazing. I have looked at the reviews left recently and all I can say is I’m disgusted by the prejudice comments made and the fact that some people have even based their entire review on the PERSONAL dressing and style choices of the management and employees there. The food was wonderful and the service was fantastic, the staff had a very nice way about the. will be eating there again.

What happened to what used to be an amazing place to eat?! It’s turned into a cold unwelcoming place with awful inefficient staff, cheap and nasty wines on offer and an owner who doesn’t have a clue! Being a goth is one thing but imposing it on long term customers is another! Horrendous goth type music on offer along with a boring menu, poorly trained staff and food that you’d expect from an estate type pub chain. Waited way too long for awful food. Will not be going back!! Truly truly awful.

We went as a group of friends, one of whom lives in a village nearby, for Sunday lunch. I had heard that the excellent previous management had left the pub so we had the new team. The service is a little hit and miss but they are trying hard so perhaps these teething problems will be sorted out. It's a bit unfair to be too hard on them. Couldn't complain about the food. It was very good and the vegetables were lovely. I live in London and we can only dream about pubs of this standard!!

Great food! I came with some friends to this pub for the first time and we were really impressed! The quality of the food was very high with a very nice selection! I had One of the best steaks I have ever had and my partner thought the same about his burger! We had some issues with the service which was a little slow but the manager explained us that this was one of their first day as new management. So, we can only say: very well done and good luck! Your start was excellent!

A favourite restaurant of ours, Arrived to find a new ownership in charge, new menu and staff. Was shown to a table but not a warm welcome as previously. Menu produced which was not inspiring and typical pub grub. Delay in ordering a drink which did not arrive until we asked for them. Three waitress visit to take our order, obvious that there was no co ordination by staff. I had difficulty selecting food and ended up with scampi and chips. Chips were OK but the scampi was dry. No offer of vinegar or a sauce for the scampi and the peas were just average. My wife had a side salad to accompany her meal which had no dressing and was dry and uninviting. Scampi and chips at £15 was also a bit much.

Simply beautiful Sunday dinner. Great restaurant, lovely friendly staff, excellent location and epic meal. Best roast Sunday dinner I’ve had. I’ve been to quite a few village pubs/restaurants in this area and this one tops the lot by a long way. It’s going to take some special to beat this.

Enjoyed a lovely Saturday night meal with a friend. They found us a space even though we hadn't booked. Great choice from veggie to meat. So good.

On arrival we were met and received a nice welcome, shown to our table and given ample time to peruse the menu. We both chose the lamb which was so well cooked it fell apart when cut. All in all the meal was excellent, well presented and received. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a country eatery.

Went with friends for lunch. Lovely atmosphere, renovated beautifully. Staff lovely, friendly and caring. Very busy even on a Friday lunch. Our table was ready and we had a two course meal, main and pud. Waitress was very attentive and friendly. All were very pleased with their choice. Fresh cooked . We had our second lovely dinner at the Green Man tonight...the menu had completely changed and was even better than before. The Paella was amazing, fish pie, steak perfectly cooked (not an easy feat), starters were lovely, interesting and shareable. dessert menu had terrific choices. It is a cozy, pleasant, and peaceful pub...will most definitely return...often! Thank you.

Traditional English pub with great service, food and drink. Walt Disney visited this pub and the local church in search for his ancestors.

Went one Thursday evening expecting it to be fairly quiet for a small village pub. It was absolutely packed which, for me, is always a good sign. We had a drink until a table became free, which was lovely, because you can sit outside.

Quiet table reserved for us as requested when I booked for Sunday lunch. However was very surprised to find that the cost of the two course lunch at £21.50 giving a choice of three meats required and additional £4 for beef. This was something that I really not expected. My friend found that the gravy and stuffing far to salty for her taste, however the fish and chicken meals for the two of us was all right.

Welcomed by very friendy staff and made to feel "at home", visited with friends who live in Lincoln and knew of this pub, we all had a delightful meal and would recommend this pub to all.

We knew of the Green Man, but had not been, so decided to go on the spur of the moment. So glad we did. friendly atmosphere, very attentive staff without being too much. The food was excellent portions were just right and very flavoursome. We both enjoyed our meal and would recommend a visit

We dined here with some friends recently as part of a surprise. The restaurant is lovely and presents an airy fresh environment which is comfortably furnished. The meal was superb and every dish I saw served I felt I could have happily eaten. The staff were friendly and very pleasant. I thought the cost was commensurate with the dining experience. Despite it not being as close to us as I would have liked - we will be back!

Friends and neighbours have been singing the praises of The Green Man so when family visited decided we would try it. One of my relatives was head chef at a local hotel and was very satisfied with the food. I had the best Green Thai curry ever, as good as top end Thai Restaurants. Friendly efficient service and adequate menu. Would definitely recommend.

I was dining with a friend who had not eaten there before. We both had the most delicious roasted cod served with chorizo smoked paprika vegetables and served on a bed of wilted spinach. Absolutely delicious a memorable meal, my friend was very impressed. The puddings we had were lemon tart and rum and raisin bread and butter pudding. Even though my friend arrived 45 minutes late we were accommodated even though they had large parties in,. The staff as usual were friendly and helpful. Will be back again very soon. Great service, excellent food pricey, well worth , been coming here for ages ages and never had a bad or average meal. Always a warm friendly welcome

Three of us lunched here on a Saturday lunch time. The restaurant was full, so we were glad that we had booked. The menu, whilst not very extensive, was sufficient for all of us to choose different starters and main courses. We all enjoyed our respective courses and commented on how good the food was.

This restaurant was the nearest to our holiday let so it we decided we should give it a go. On another more pleasant evening we could have walked there. The welcome we received was like we had been there a hundred times. The food was superb with all four of us having different starters and mains. I would recommend the Duck Skewers or Crispy Chili Beef to start. The Rib-eye Steak was perfect, the Green Man burger was lovely. One of our party had the Mussels and the other had the Pie-in-a-Pan. It was all delicious. The portion size, after a starter, was a bit too big but we didn't leave much.

A family reunion dinner for eight and the weather was very kind, so we enjoyed the countryside before dining. Everyone was more than pleased with the varied menu and the dishes they had chosen. Restaurant staff were most efficient yet friendly, giving a relaxing atmosphere which made the evening really special.

Had an excellent lunch here yesterday.We all had different meals and they were delicious.The wine unfortunately was corked but with no fuss whatsoever they organised a replacement which was very good. Very well looked after.We will return

We visited on a cool windy bleak Saturday lunchtime. The place is really well presented in a minimalist way. The food was just great. There were 3 of us and there was not one crisitsm. The Chef is the landlord, always a great indication of the pride taken in food prep.

I came here for lunch on a Saturday with family. We had booked to be on the safe side, but although there were a few other groups dining here, it wasn't busy.

An excellent meal had by both of us in very pleasant surroundings. Couldn't fault it. Service very good as well. Best meal I've had in quite some time

A small village pub with great restaurant. We met friends here as half way between Lincoln & Newark. Intimate room, great atmosphere & very friendly staff. Good choice of menu with a specials menu as well. I had Morocaan lamb tagine which was very tasty - would have preferred normal couscous to giant couscous but that just me. Sticky toffee pudd I g to follow - yum yum. Good selection of tea & coffee. Did not fee l rushed in any shape or form. Will be visiting again.

My Mother’s Day treat today was Sunday lunch.

Warm welcoming pub with lovely staff. Very clean and tidy throughout with a good, busy atmosphere. However, the absolute star of the show was the roast beef. I defy anyone to find better.

Had the most amazing lunch here today. Welcoming was lovely and it’s very cosy. The restaurant is spotless and the atmosphere is relaxing. Nearly all the tables were taken so although very busy the ambience was still relaxed. There was a huge choice of dishes all of which sounded delicious. We had 3 courses and every part of the meal was spot on. The staff were very friendly but not in your face and they were very professional . Wine was good too :) really really impressed already discussing booking a large family Sunday lunch. Really really impressed

We had the pleasure of having lunch today at The Green Man which was excellent. The food and service were first class and we cannot fault it. However we were surprised and a little annoyed to be charged £ 3.50 for a large Soda and Lime which seemed to us excessive. We did query this and were told it is bottled soda water used and not from a soft drinks syphon. We still think this did not justify the high price charged. This public house is in a village and as the majority of guest will have to drive the prices for a soft drink could put you off visiting

So pleased we found this little gem whilst on a long road trip from north to south. Accommodating service, open fire, peaceful (well, until our children arrived), and delicious food. Recommended!

Having eaten here a number of times before we decided to eat here for our Valentine’s Day meal as they had their regular menu and specials on rather than having a set menu at an inflated price. We both really enjoyed our meals, the fish and chips were delicious and my duck was beautifully cooked and extremely tasty.

WE visited here as a group for our book club lunch. The menu can be viewed on line which saves time choosing. There was also a good 'specials' menu. One of our group is vegetarian and had no trouble finding a selection. The waitress was excellent. We bought our drinks at the bar beforehand so just had the main bill to settle and they were happy to give us one bill. Car parking is easy and off road. the bar menu is also good and that area was full when we went .

Called in for lunch on our travels and what a brilliant pub. The service was first class,the staff were far more efficent than many restaurants I have frequented.Delicous food, really enjoyed the duck breast.My other half informed me that the chardonnay was excellent quality and value for money. Super country pub run by people who really know how to do the job properly.

I just love the Green Man and have never had a poor meal. It is my go to place with friends for a delicious Sunday Lunch. Have visited for lunch and supper and have never been disappointed, the staff are delightful and I love the decor.

Went over to Norton Disney to the Green man as it had very good reputation. On our first sample of the excellent food and beer on offer, it is a well deserved reputation and it will not be our only visit here. The Pie in a Pan was deliciously creamy and the tempura vegetables were sweet and the protion sizes correct not over kill on Nouvelle cuisine

Lovely pub with great food and service.. nothing too much trouble and food tasted amazing. Certainly will be returning. We had the duck and sticky toffee pudding which was so light and tasty. Great prices. Great food

I was a little disappointed with the atmosphere in general. The menu was was OK & the food was good but nothing outstanding.

Love this little pub, always great food, brilliant staff, just wish they would serve proper home cooked chunky chips - what they serve in the little basket is absolutely tasteless and full of small hard pieces as if from the bottom of a frozen chip bag - such a shame as all the other food is excellent - rather have half a dozen properly home cooked chips than the tasteless offer always served - just spoils the meal.

I have visited The Green Man 3 times now, and we are never disappointed. Service good, bar staff friendly & a good choice of food cooked to a good standard. Nice, country cosy pub!

Have often met here for family Sunday Lunch with some local friends . It is a really good country dining pub with a relaxed atmosphere and great food. A specials menu always on as well as trad roasts. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff and plenty of them.

We pre booked and found our table all ready when we arrived 30 mins early, we were seated and looked after by the waitresses, baby seat provided. We ordered 8 roast turkey dinners and were not left wanting. Plenty to eat and to a high standard, the specials menu had excellent desserts, so all in all a fantastic family meal, great food and service. Will be returning soon for more of the same

Visited here last Saturday with my husband, sister and brother in law. We had a lovely welcome, no problem parking, lovely interior tastefully decorated. Food was excellent, had mixed seafood bowl and soup for starters followed by Asian salmon, liver &bacon;, rib eye steak And potato gratin for mains plus jam roly poly, apple& plum crumble, creme brulee to finish! All cooked and presented beautifully. Service excellent to, nice pace, very friendly staff, would definitely recommend!

This was our second visit for dinner since we moved to the local area. Once again, the service from start to finish was excellent, a lovely welcome, a taste of the beer before ordering and the food was just amazing. Try the ribeye steak and the duck breast, both awesome. And also the soufflé to start.

We've visited this restaurant a couuple of times now and every time we've been happy with the meal and service. The last time we visited was early November with our friends and we had amazing service and the meal was as good as ever! We're never disappointed.

Had a fabulous meal here on Saturday evening. Very busy place but extremely friendly staff and happy atmosphere. The lamb scotch egg was amazing as was the fish pie and my steak. Lovely creme brûlée. Couldn't fault anything. Will definitely be back.

We eat frequently at the green man, and it never fails to impress. Lunch today was absolutely superb. Steak and kidney pudding was my highlight. Black sheep ale served perfectly and as always the service was impeccable. Thank you Team Green man for another fantastic trip !

1st visit, it's a really cosy country pub with great ambience. We had 2 courses and both were amazing, excellent presentation but even better tasting! Thai red pork curry was perfect as was the Pan friend chicken with mushroom sauce which equally as nice. Great food and service, hope to return soon.
