We just popped in for a pie and a pint on the way home. There was a wonderfully piano player playing 1950's style and singing too . I t were great .There is Thai food too .We will go back .

Simply, Outstanding Customer Service and Delicious Food. There Exceptional Thai Curry and Sunday Roasts are the Best! 10/10 to the Owners and the Chef! Highly Recommended.

We stopped over in the car park with two other motorhomes. Peter and his partner were very accommodating. Lovely choice of food which was Thai based with an English option.

Quaint small pub with a 'at home' feel to it. It has a beer garden too.

Visited at dusk near end of a cycle ride. Hadn't been for a few years. Nice and bright inside these days. Beer was good and staff helpful. Small garden meant a short period of standing until an outside table came free. (Of course we could have sat inside, but we are polite sweaty cyclists.)

The food here is so good! Been three times so far, best Pad Thai of my life and the stir fry and sushi were great too :). Came for the open mic night and the pub had a nice vibe.

Open mic evening. Awesome attendance and 10 artists/bands singing/playing. Simply outstanding atmosphere. As ever, top notch Thai food. I recommend this to anyone!

A quick Britstop on the way home. We had a parking space in the overflow car park across the road, which was on a slight slope and subject to minor road noise. The pub was quiet so service was prompt and very friendly. The live music added to the ambiance for a chilled Sunday afternoon. The Thai food was very good, tasty and portion sizes reasonable. Service was a little slow but no particular bother for us. We would happily return there if in the area.

I’m always honest about the experience. Great starters but clearly bought in not home made after being told it’s all made fresh to order 🤔literally just thrown through the fryer.The hot drinks were horrendous not a authentic cappuccino, I don’t know what it was suppose to be 🤔it had vanilla added to it for some reason very very sweet! The mains were sent out incorrect not once but twice and cold. The fish and chips were served with stone cold peas and hard chips. The fish was nice tho. All other dishes were a mess the chicken wings embarrassing actually shocking. The Satay chicken was an insult so so so small embarrassing small! We left more of the mains than we actually ate. I’d say at just under £100 it was shocking a 4/10 at best. The pub used to be a lovely place that’s going back a couple of years ago. Honestly I found the experience cringeworthy at times. Obviously we will not be returning as there was nothing authentic about the experience. I checked the reviews out after other than before which was a big mistake.£97 worth definitely NOT! The drinks weren’t just bad absolutely SHOCKING BAD!

I can honestly say this is the worst run pub I have ever come across, as locals we just went in for a Sunday afternoon drink, at 2pm chairs on tables, floor still wet, absolutely no warming welcome as shown on sign, left without having a drink, pathetic get out now, useless

What a lovely pub and a lovely family who run it. I popped in for a quick drink and to warm up from the cold but ended up staying for a few hours. The Thai inspired menu has a good selection for dinner and the seafood stir fry I had was wonderful. Followed by a very tasty strawberry Cheesecake. The service was fast, polite and felt homely. Like an aunty making sure you're looked after and well fed. I've heard that the live music nights here are very good, so I'll definatly be coming back while on my travels to check that out.

We were warmly welcomed to lunch on a rainy week day and the only guests. The Thai food was very tasty as was the beer and wine. Service was friendly and prompt. Altogether a very enjoyable lunch.

We visited this pub today with friends. This pub could be a little goldmine but sadly the owners are disinterested at best. The meals we had were honestly the worst we have ever had. All the food was cold. One of our part had their chicken reheated in the microwave. Had the food been hot it would have still been inevitable. The owner told us he had a wide range of gins which was true if one is looking for every flavour of Gordon's gin. He couldn't even prepare and serve a drink. My husband's coke came with an old squashed straw.in the glass and the owner was barely apologetic. Such a shame as this pub is only a couple of minutes walk from our friends' home. Sadly we will never be visiting this pub again and will in future have to go further afield. Our advice- don't bother even if you are desperate for food and drinks

Friendly atmosphere and very tasty food!

We were given a very warm welcome in this attractive and spacious pub. Our drunken noodles meal was delicious and there were lots of lovely Thai dishes on the menu. We will definitely return and hope to coincide our next visit with the live music on offer. A real gem of a pub!

Nice pint of Forty Niner from Ringwood, but only one as it ran out. Service was very unhurried, and if you're in a rush it may be quicker to pull yourself a pint, as the bar is frequently unmanned, and even ringing the bell to summon staff doesn't always work. Staff seem to find customers a bit of a drudge and an inconvenience. Quiz very amusing

Incredible food.. Lovely hospitality.. Good ambience... The food was really fantastic, fresh and and fragrant. Want to try everything in the menu now.. Will definitely be back again and again.. Highly recommended.. Best local restaurant!

Lovely local pub. A great asset to our village.

Came here on Saturday night for some drinks and decided to have some food. I ordered the crispy duck red curry with sticky rice and my boyfriend had the vegetable spring rolls. My curry was so delicious with yummy vegetables and the best duck ever !! The actual red curry sauce was so good and the sticky rice was the best I’ve had in a long time. The vegetable spring rolls my boyfriend had were really good as well !! The staff were super friendly and the fire was super welcoming ! Would definitely recommend !!

Interesting experience. The pub looks lovely inside since the refurbishment but we waited ages for our drinks and the bar lady looked like she had no clue what she was doing.

Booked a table for our wedding anniversary. When we arrived we were told to sit anywhere, they hadn’t even bothered to reserve a table for us. We ordered a pint for my husband and a G&T for me, pint arrived quickly and we then watched the guy behind the bar serve several other people that came in. After waiting 25 minutes for the G&T we decided enough was enough. Working in the pub trade myself, I like to support local business but definitely will not be back to this one.

New owners so had a revamp as of April 2022. Good local pub, serves Thai food only, very good authentic Thai food. Good local ales, nice outdoor seating area on decking at the back. Good prices. Live music and friendly atmosphere on 'open mic' night - Tues eves.

We went for a birthday meal and were so well looked after. The people who run it are so kind and lovely and went out of their way to make the evening special for our friend, even going to the trouble of providing a delicious birthday cake with no notice! Definitely recommend.

Wow just wow 🙈 Who would have thought serving drinks would be such hard work! I asked for a blackcurrant cordial and lemonade and the lady poured half a pint of cordial in the glass.. when I noticed I asked her to stop and explained it only needed to be a dash! I visited with some friends and they had been before and described it as Fawlty Towers! There were no lights in the toilets. Every single person that ordered struggled to do so. I don't know what more to say. I'm usually really positive but it was hard to be whilst watching this.

Good service good food will go there again soon.

We came of the A3 at Selborne looking for somewhere to stop and eat. Glad we did. Turned into Greatham Village just a few minutes away. Then found the Greatham Inn. Advertising Tai food. Deceptively spacious pub with a garden. Limited parking but village has plenty of on road spaces. Friendly welcome, nice cold beer and loads choice where to eat. Looks like it has recently been taken over so undergoing change. Sat in garden area, waited for our family and then ordered from the menu. Didn't wait too long and were very happy when it turned up. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Highly recommend. Fabulous green lipped mussels, delicious chicken stir fry, crispy duck salad and a beef salad.

Good food good service drinks could be a bit cheaper.

Had read good reviews and wanted to stay local but have to say disappointing. The appetisers were more Iceland than Thailand and the Curry was like soup and not authentic. Expensive for the quality/quantity and the service wasn’t great ☹️

Under new management and now offering Thai/Asian cuisine. The whole place is now a lot brighter after redecoration/refurb and the food was fantastic. Hope the local community will support the new owners and make it the success it deserves to be.

Since its under new management its become a Thai and Asian restaurant which is a sharp contrast to what it was before which was a nice English pub. As someone who lives within a 5 minute walk from the place. Since its under new management this has sadly changed, and despite the food being quite nice i will not be visiting again, once its a nice village pub once again ill visit again.

Don't like to write bad reviews. However... Visited Greatham Inn on the way back from business meeting and boy, what a place! The pub itself is decent but as I enjoyed a drink the (I presume) locals wandered in and out for a pint and chat. People in pub nice as pie to their faces but as soon as they left would slag them all (!) off as being weird. Literally every single person! Fascinating to observe but seems an odd way to run a pub even if I'm no expert. Think I'll stick to the city as much as possible and avoid places like this Inn. Give it 2 stars though as building is stylish.

Its a nice cozy little pub. The owner was very nice. But the menu needs to be more elaborate mentioning the ingredients. I nearly ordered a beef burger being a vegetarians! My little ones enjoyed the view of horses in the back garden. The toilets were nice and clean but there was no baby change. The owner asked me if I would like to change my baby's nappy on the toilet floor if I have a blanket or something! Yikes!!! Had to change him in our car!

Not only did the Greatham Inn provide a shop for our village during lockdown, but they have come back with a bang with Pizza night. A range of options to suit most palettes, baked in the new pizza ovenin site. Better tasting and better value...

We came as a big group on a Saturday night. There were around 30 of us. We had pre-ordered the food from a set menu and was looking forward to a 3 course dinner.Let’s start with the pro’s;1) lovely staff2) quick service3) clean toilets 4) cosy feelThe main con was the quality of food provided. The soup tasted like it was straight from a tin, the salmon was bone dry and the raw new potatoes made it almost inedible. Sadly, the other meal choices didn’t fare much different and many of us left hungry and disappointed.I am hesitant writing this review as I understand local businesses should be celebrated and I do not want to put any future customers off.This pub has a lot of great potential but the quality of the food must be improved. Every dish tasted heated up and like it wasn’t prepared with an ounce of love or care.If the food can be improved, I would recommend the pub to others. I really hope this issue can be addressed as the other aspects of the experience were great.Please take this review as constructive criticism and not a character assassination.

Just had Sunday lunch at the Greatham Inn. Fantastic value roast at £8.95 (melt in the mouth roast beef), and syrup sponge and custard for £4.50. And efficient, friendly service in a traditional village pub.

Only there for a short while while waiting for my preservation bus back to Alton, but never the less a pleasant experience. Pity about the for sale board outside. Hope this dosn,t mean a change of use. Fingers crossed.

Went to watch the England game, ended up staying the evening for drink, food and chat. Great, unpretentious, friendly, local boozer. Would thoroughly recommend for anyone in the area.
