El interior se ve muy bien demasiado con clase. Me encanta. Sin duda lo recomendaría a mi familia y colegas 💕

Great menu and value for money, staff are really nice also. The Himalayan menu is👌 Highly recommended Butter chicken with garlic naan, Garlic butter prawns (very unique taste), pan fry salmon and sticky toffee pudding super yummy. The interior looks great too very classy. Love it. I would definitely recommend it to my fam & colleagues 💕

Visité este fabuloso restaurante con un grupo de amigos, por segunda vez en dos meses, en la calle 31 de enero, habiendo estado allí por primera vez a principios de diciembre de 2024 con mi pareja y otra pareja, ¡fue magnífico! El personal era excelente y la comida simplemente preciosa, con una buena selección de cervezas y vinos. Recomiendo encarecidamente el cordero al curry del Himalaya, la mayoría del grupo fue por esto después de mi experiencia anterior y nadie se decepcionó.

The staff were absolutely lovely, very welcoming and courteous. Great choice of meat, vegetarian and vegan dishes. Pub classics as well as some with a Himalayan twist but the special Himalayan menu is brilliant. Great establishment to have in the local area.

Great English and Nepalese food but not a cheap meal. Still one of my favourite places.

Pros... Bonito curry, personal amable y trabajador Desventajas... ambiente cansado de pub, Tuvimos una buena noche con amigos. Esperaba que el entorno fuera más lujoso por alguna razón, pero estaba bien, pub local cansado estándar, pero la comida era agradable y el personal era encantador.

I always try to write honest reviews to aid others to make decisions. I like good food and of our party of 6 adults only 3 were happy. I along with 2 visitors from America ordered the hand battered fish and triple cooked chips. I know good fish and chips and this was not it. The fish at £15 a plate was terrible. No crispy light batter, very small amount of fish with no feeling it was fresh. I would be surprised if it is hand battered on the premises. The chips were pale, and I doubt properly triple cooked as some were hard in the middle and they were not golden brown and crispy. I don't recommend this as a place to eat and would never return. The staff are friendly and helpful. The other 3 had burgers and chicken and were happy.

Wow! Este lugar es absolutamente increíble. El personal es muy amable, acogedor y una alegría absoluta. La comida es más que excelente, probablemente el mejor curry que mi esposa y yo hemos probado. Hay muchas opciones para las bebidas para hacer cosquillas en las papilas gustativas de cualquiera. Muy impresionado por la limpieza de todo el lugar y especialmente los baños. No puedo fallar nada en absoluto, así que una visita obligada.

A really mean portioned Sunday roast and nothing like the previous proprietors offerings which we loved. Didnt give them the opportunity to disappoint us with dessert. Won't be going here again.

I had an absolutely unforgettable day at Bristol's The Grapevine Brasserie. Our server, Sujan, was really kind and attentive making us feel very welcome. The manager, Prajith, went above and beyond to make sure our visit was flawless in every way. The evening was made better by the delicious meal and the cosy welcoming ambiance. I want to express my gratitude to the crew for an amazing experience. I am looking forward to go again.

Thank you for a great evening last night for our daughters birthday 7 of us and Gerry the dog. Atmosphere was great very busy when we arrived at 7 but promptly seated and orders taken. Food was delicious as we usually do we all ordered different and tasted each other’s food the mono’s are fantastic. We did the same with the mains I had marinated lamb chops so tender and perfectly spiced. Waiting staff were pleasant and attentive a special mention to Bella who waited on us throughout the night. All the staff were lovely and the kitchen has some excellent chefs. We were the last to leave but we will definatley return thank you again

Spent a wonderful evening at this place celebrating our daughter’s 50th birthday together with our grand kids Conner Jay Jim & Grace Eileen and myself. First time in this place and what a find . The eel peas great food was excellent and such a variety of choices. What topped it all was our excellent waitress Bella who from the start couldn’t do enough for us . So attentive and a credit to the restaurant. Well done to all the staff and we can assure you that we will return Pete & Eileen Walter proud parents of Faye Galvin who ain’t far off getting her pension!!!!!!!!

We have been to the Grapevine 3 times now. The food is absolutely amazing, staff are fantastic and friendly. Prianka is always attentive, and friendly. She always makes us feel very welcoming. Food always cook to perfection, tasty and offer extremely generous portions. It is a great place to dine.

Lovely little pub with a great selection of drinks and the food was sooo good! Comfort food at its best! Service from Prajith was warm and welcoming, absolutely great guy! All the staff were lovely tbh so would deffo come back!

Lovely restaurant. Great food, I had Himilayn Lamb masala, and my friend had Chicken. Everything about the food was delicious, very tasty curry. Rice and naan bread were great tasting.

We came across this restaurant by accident and we were thrilled as it was amazing! The staff were super friendly, the menu was fabulous; loads to choose from on the classic pub menu and the Himalayan menu had outstanding choice. Between us we ordered from both menus and every starter and every main was delicious. Portions were great sizes too! The Salt & Pepper Chicken starter was AMAZING and the Naan breads out of this world! Wonderful food, and although we don't visit Bristol often we will DEFINITELY return here to eat when we do. Great value for money and the best meal I've eaten out in ages. Highly recommend!

We visited back in June after they reopened with new owners and a new menu. We had tried The White Harte before which has the same menu. We went for the Himalayan menu as it’s something different! Starters we had chilli chicken & chicken momo, both delicious starters. Mains we had Himalayan lamb chops & Gurkha chicken, both mains were really good and the lamb had so much flavour! Really enjoyed the food again & the service was good which makes all the difference. They’ve also got a really good IPA on tap!

Service is slow food not great but the staff are lovely

The Grapevine is an excellent place to eat and drink. The food here is amazing and very well presented. The staff are welcoming and very friendly. They go above and beyond to make your dinning experience an excellent one. We would like to say a special thank you to Pryanka, Rubina, Binod, Prince and Josh. We have also had a takeaway a couple of times and that was excellent too. Thank you Grapevine!

Chose this place because they advertised Sunday food hours up to 9pm, and had what looked like a great Sunday roast menu. Rather disappointed then to find that a 6:30pm arrival time was too late for the Sunday roast menu! So Sunday roast turned into a variety of curries & chicken tikka - all very nice, with a helpful staff - but not quite what we were hoping for...

Food and service was incredible, our waitress was wonderful with our 1 year old son and the veg sharing starter was great. A little quiet in the restaurant section but would definitely recommend.

Very enjoyable - the updated menu is really tasty, with loads to choose from, and the Ghurka Chicken was incredible.

I'm afraid I didn't enjoy it. Everything was just ok.waiting staff ok, restaurant ok and the food just ok with the price just on the high side for what was average pub fare. I understand that the family which has bought this pub has bought several others in the area,which has saved them from certain closure. So well done them as a ok pub in your village is better than no pub.so use um or lose um.

It didn't let us down. We had samosas, chicken momo's & salt & pepper chicken. Then himalayan masala chicken lovely lovely lovely.. Not only was the food 100% the staff were amazing. I am on crutches but as we walked though the door made me feel comfortable even opened the emergency exit to let me out rather than walking all the way round. Will defo be back so pleased they have taken this place over

I had the best lamb Biryani (Spicy) in Bristol

Been there a few times now since the takeover, was a massive fan of the Fishponds Tap but having the same team just up the road now is wonderful if somewhat dangerous Always Fantastic Curries and brilliant service from the friendly team at the Grapevine Partner is a massive fan of their caramel latte macchiato and swears it’s the best she’s had.

Visited for a summer evening drink and decided to try the food. We had the prawn masala with rice and naan and the himalayan lamb chops. Food was excellent and full of flavour with generous portions. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back

Me and my partner came here for the very first time with family this evening and we really enjoy our meal very helpful staff and friendly I would definitely recommend here and I would definitely come back again.

Wonderful no complaints with anything at all.

Popped in for a drink. Didn't fancy the ale on tap so ordered a Punk IPA listed as 550ml on the menu. When it arrived it was only 330ml. Didn't want to make a big thing so raised at the bar. Few minutes later manager arrived, no real apology just that menus were wrong & price was adjusted at till. When I looked the reduction was minimal. 2 mins later all the menus were taken off the tables.

Wow...the food here is outstanding. The Himalayan menu is excellent. Staff were attentive and the whole evening was a success.

Went there for a meal tonight. Bland food (chicken listed as Tikka and was just plain) service was non existant (went to the bar to order and was told I couldn't, then had to wait 20 mins for someone to come over to us. Waited 35 mins for the bill). Shame as it used to be a great pub.

We've just been for a lunch, decided at the last minute, but they found us a table. There is an excellent selection of food for every taste, although we both went for a curry (one lamb, one veggie), which were both exceptional, as was the service. We look forward to returning!

Visited on a Friday night with a friend. Service was good, food delicious and reasonably priced. I had the chicken saag and my friend had the fish curry, both exceptionally good. Would definitely recommend

Walked in here last night expecting a village pub vibe to find all vert stiff and formal, a brasserie definitely not, a curry house I won't be back absolutely no ambience and extortionate prices for alcohol 😑 😬

GORGEOUS!!! We have ordered takeout as both of us weren’t well enough to go out but was planning a date night anyway! The mushroom pasta was LOVELY! And came with enough food to feed a small family! (not complaining). We shall be booking a table shortly when we feel much better!

With my Partner away for a few days visiting family, it was left to me to cater for my Son on his visit this weekend. My Son and I were busy working on an IT project, so I decided to offer lunch out. This was welcomed by my Son, and so the die was cast. We opted to take a 30 minute walk to this particular pub for our lunch. I had a voucher, for 33% off food, that needed to be used before the end of the month. So, it all ‘fitted-well’. I telephoned the pub just before leaving to check if we could get a reservation. The only tables available were in the bar area, rather than the restaurant, and there was only one table (with a suitable time-slot starting in 30 minutes time); again that ‘fitted-well’. Our small table for two, was just inside the door to the building and it was surrounded on two sides by a glass brick wall. The unusually strong sunlight for mid February meant that I had to squint to avoid being blinded, and my Son could feel the strong heat from the sun on his back. Not great seating, maybe some curtains would be a good idea? We were particularly glad of the refreshing iced tap-water that we had ordered. We both shunned the traditional Sunday Roast in favour of burgers; with my Son opting for the ‘Prime Beef Burger’: a 6oz patty with burger sauce and skin-on fries. I decided on the Korean Chicken Burger and skin-on fries. Both were served in brioche burger buns featuring tomato, gherkin, crispy onions and lettuce, plus a small pot of slaw. My Son’s burger was much enjoyed and he pronounced the meal as being “very good”. The evidence was plain to see, as only the slaw and the gherkin remained on his plate when he had finished. My chicken was coated in that familiar Korean-style sauce, actually called ‘Dakgangjeong’. The coating is supposed to be crispy and sticky, but the chicken inside should remain tender and juicy. I have enjoyed this plate whilst visiting the far east and the flavours today were a good facsimile. The problem was that the chicken fillet was too thin and had been cooked for far too long. The result was that the whole piece of chicken was entirely hard all the way through. I did eat it, as the taste was good enough, but the texture was a complete screw-up. My Son followed-up his main with a good chocolate brownie with vanilla ice cream, whereas I abstained from taking dessert. Service was satisfactory most of the time, but placing the dessert order was delayed as waiting staff didn’t came for quite a long time, to check if we wanted anything further after our mains. I did get an apology for this issue, and I also got my 33% discount, saving me £12.48… result!

Good friendly service, excellent food at reasonable prices

Cold and mostly tasteless food. Felt like it was cooked yesterday and reheated. Miniscule amount of mash in the roast dinner. Ordered a drink that I never received. There was a roof leak dripping on our table. Music was quiet. Staff was distracted. Starter of prawns was very unpleasant. The toilets were uncomfortable and not very clean or private. The worst part - our meal was served AN HOUR after we came in. There were plenty of free tables ariund us so I wouldn't say it was due to the busy period... I personally did not enjoy the experience and do not recommend their festive menu.

Fantastic meal on Christmas Day . Staff were fantastic and couldn’t help more. Food was outstanding. Definitely going to book again for next year .

Sorry but my shawarma was dry cold tasteless bits of looked like someone’s left over chicken edges served on limp salad one piece of feta and no obvious minted yoghurt . So disappointing as last time a succulent whole tasty sliced moist chicken breast with fresh accompaniments,hence repeating my menu choice. I am very well travelled and have to say you let the side down it was way below par for any class of eatery .Was told it was busy etc etc but that’s a real cop out ,the waitress offered me something else but was I expected to sit there amongst my friends eating after they had finished so asked for some coleslaw thinking to moisten it up sadly not !Such a pity as have in the past really enjoyed meals at both Mocha and Grapevine.One rather unsatisfied customer.

We organised a lunchtime event for just over 40 people. Absolutely brilliant. Good food, good service, good atmosphere. And the staff (especially Corinna) were professional, helpful and really patient. Thank you all so much.

Last time a group of us ate here the food was fantastic, I thought I'd have a burger this time, but it was overcooked,the sour dough bread was hard, warm chips. The only thing that was cooked properly was the peas !

We love coming here! The food is excellent, great choice of drinks and such a lovely atmosohere. The staff are super friendly and helpful. It's our favourite local spot for a treat or celebration, or a quick drink on the way home from walking the dog (the bar areas is dog friendly).

Never been before, but I'll definitely be back again! The online booking form was quick and easy, and we were welcomed promptly when we arrived. The service was relaxed and friendly, and we weren't rushed at all to finish our meal. Our food was hot, fresh, and delicious! my only minor quibble was that the ambient noise levels where we were sat (in front of the bar) was slightly loud which made conversation ever so slightly difficult, but given I booked it the night before and it was a Friday night I really can't hold that against them! I'd definitely recommend this for a lovely evening of drinks with friends or a meal with the family.

Lemon chicken, absolutely delicious! very tasty,will be back soon for more, , went back today and the lemon chicken was not the same,just chicken, which wasn't tender in a cheese sauce,and few small slices of toasted bread,no roasters or salad like before,bit disappointed, still the company was great

Very friendly, welcoming staff. Clean restaurant. The food was fantastic. Wild mushroom tagliatelle and taleggio chicken 😋 both meals looked and tasted delicious. Will definitely be visiting here again 🙂
