Very delicious Very fast service Delicious

Just had the medium rare double cheese burger, it was quite frankly the worst burger I have ever eaten. It was cold, badly cooked and tasteless. I’ve had double cheese burgers from McDonald’s that were much better and a fraction of the price. Given all of the other bad reviews with similar comments I’m not sure why this GBK branch is still in operation. I will not return to GBK again.

They do take aways only so don’t bother turning up if you expect to be seated

Honest Burger is my go to burger chain, but remembered Gourmet Burger Kitchen as being on a par so stopped off for a refueling stop before heading to the cinema. If Gourmet Burger Kitchen ever was on a par with Honest Burger, for sure isn't now, despite there only being three tables occupied food took over half an hour to arrive, yet my smash burger and the sub-McDonalds fries were both cold, my mother's cheeseburger was better, but hardly gourmet, her Strawberry Elderflower Presse was distinctly artificial tasting and over sweet. Will be avoiding Gourmet Burger Kitchen in future, recommend others do the same.

I waited almost 2 hours for my food. I know it wasn’t the drivers fault but by the time it arrived, the food wasn’t hot enough

Ordered via Uber Eats - 1 out of 2 items was missing although delivery bag was sealed. Called the restaurant, they passed the buck of responsibility to UE - result spent £16 for 1/2 a meal... NOT IMPRESSED!

We came by here earlier today and was unsure as what to eat, the chef was in a fridge out the front and was very helpful with walking us through the menu and explaining different burgers and sides. (I think he was the head chef) We opted for 1 Taxi driver (medium cook) and 1 grilled K-Town and they were cooked beautifully with a side of truffle mac and cheese and a portion of chunky fries. We also got an oreo and a salted caramel milkshakes which were beautiful! Really couldnt recommend enough! Cant thank the chef enough and will 100% be returning! I will be coming to try that blue cheese smash!

Absolutely nothing gourmet about this. Polling service, nobody in the restaurant, cold food and then when I suggested to send it back, this was ignored. Very poor and I would completely avoid if I were you!

Located in the East Dulwich, South East London. This restaurant offers a great selection of burgers and other food like fried chicken strips and so on. We ordered a couple of burgers, mine was Koren BBQ Burger and my friend's was a Blue Cheese sauce Burger. My friend ordered his medium well done. They were served exactly as we had ordered. The taste was great, the chips that we ordered on the side were great and the Vanilla Milkshake was not one of those watery ones but a thick shake made with lots of ice cream and was perfect. The service was good and the staff friendly too . We did not have to wait long for the food to arrive. The cost was higher than we would normally pay but we enjoyed the food thoroughly and it was in such a great location. Happy to eat here again next visit in London.

We really enjoyed this little store, the staff are so friendly, kind and welcoming. The burgers were fresh and tasty. Much better than I expected considering the dated decor

I would highly recommend trying it out, The team are very welcoming and sweet. Very tasty burgers. Prices are ok, No real need to book, they welcome anyone that just turns up!

Our chips weren't cooked enough. The burgers were very small and the burger underwhelming for £13 which didn't include a side. The burger had a lettuce that was folded up and slice of tomato.The lady served us seemed like she didn't want to be there, fair enough, but that's why refused to pay a tip. She said she would come back with sauces but never did.

Had to wait ages for food and drink. Table service was non existent. We basically did the work for them. Had to chase everything and then wait the table for them. Prioritising Uber eats drivers over diners.

45 mins to get the food because they had a huge queue of online order. They should stop atleast online order when they reach capacity. I see the Uber drivers waiting longer. Shame GBK used to be my go to, but alas no more

I ordered a cheese and bacon burger and I didn’t get any bacon and I ordered honey butter chicken wings and got these dry chicken strips with a lemon thoroughly disappointed

Today ( Thursday) we went to gbk for lunch with my family. the food was great and fast served. drinks were quickly served by the same person. We had the impression that during such a busy lunch only one person was working. blonde woman with glasses. we will definitely come back to gbk. thank you.

Nice grub but it takes a billion years to actually be prepared, and that's on a night when there is no one here. They seem to prioritise takeaway orders over filling up hungry kids after their evening sport. Hurry up chaps, it's supposed to be fast food!

Decent restaurant to go to, minus all the negative reviews. Been here a couple of times and the customer service has been better than some other places. Burgers are great and so are the truffle cheese fries and honey butter chicken wings.

Ordered 4 beef pink and juicy, came up more like well done.

Will not be ordering from this restaurant again. Waiting 1hr20mins and food came cold, the fries were stone cold and burger nit worth it at all. Not value for money. One positive is the courier apologised.

My food arrive ice cold and it's not even winter, I call to speak to the restaurant to express that my food arrive freezing cold. I was told the food was hot when it leave the restaurant if I want a refund I must go to the justeat website to get the telephone number. I ask to speak to a manager to be told I am speaking the manager to my surprize. I ask for his name he started shouted I had to remove my phone from ear. I asked why he is shouting that I could hear him without my phone being o speaker with phone away from my ear .He said he doesn't have to give me his name there was never any apologies at anytime.

Don't bother going here - they are more interested in serving the continuous stream of takeout delivery men than the customers in the restaurant. It took ages for drinks then food to arrive, sides arriving well after the burgers. All burger buns were charred black but we were too hungry to complain and had already heard the manager swearing at staff so really just wanted to leave.

Went on a Saturday night to actually eat in the restaurant. Our first impressions was just seeing nobody eating in the restaurant and endless number of people in motorbike helmets queuing presumably delivering food to all those lazy people who won’t attend in person. All other restaurants we walked past on the way were full. We thought it might take a while to receive our food. However, the service was actually quite quick and we enjoyed our food. Really good place to go if haven’t booked anywhere and want peace and quiet, always going to be space.

Ordered 2 burgers and chips well done, came pink and didnt send 2 portions of chips Absolutely rubbish, how retarded can the staff be seriously?!?!

My burger was so overcooked and dry, all the toppings it was supposed to have were missing apart from the extra cheese I ordered. Usually much better. Also the amount of chips I received was barely a handful. Really poor today

After waiting over an hour for my food it arrive incomplete. my wings are missing and I have tried calling the store , they are not picking up. How do I resolve this!!!

Worst experience ever! Terrible service and the staff applies a policy that they cannot serve over 6 people without booking! What? Yep! We walked in and because we were 7 they told us they couldn’t serve us. They insulted us, the restaurant was empty and when my friend said: “at the end you are loosing because it could have been 7 meals and a good tip”, one girl said “I don’t mind, I seriously don’t mind”. I don’t know who creates this kind of policy and which restaurant let their customers go like that. At the we had a great meal somewhere else, the other restaurant had a booking at 8 pm for the big table we used, despite of that they served us and were so kind and welcoming. I don’t recommend it at all. I checked their website and I cannot read that policy anywhere.

Ordered a meal through justeat, a simple burger and truffle chips. Sent me the WRONG burger, & also bare minimum of truffle cheese on the fry’s. Spoke with a young lady through the phone, completely useless, couldn’t even have a normal conversation about it. A complete waste of money, their portion sizes for fries or sweet potatoes fries are criminal, it truly is evil what they do here. £4.50 for 13 chips your better off going to your local chip shop, to get bigger portions or make it yourself. Don’t be fooled, they truly don’t care about their customers only making cash, this is a low quality restaurant, only use it if you’ve got cash to throw away like water and your desperate otherwise go to local chip shop in Dulwich it’s way better.

Really poor experience this time. Waitresses grumpy, they don’t smile! They didn’t seem to care that our meal came out wrong! And not all at the same time. I had to keep going up to the counter to complain, take things back etc which ruined our meal, made it stressful, not enjoyable! There was no apology, no offer of refund/part refund, no attempt to try to make up for such poor meal quality and service! And they weren’t even busy! Which isn’t surprising! Not a cheap place to eat either, service better in McDonalds.

I ordered a burger on Deliveroo from this restaurant. It gave me food poisoning and I was very sick. I complained through Deliveroo but the restaurant has not contacted me. Very worrying for their food standards that they have not investigated at all. Definitely won't be going here again!

I love this restaurant but when i went there in october i asked for skinny fries but then they said like sorry we dont have them anymore then i was crying with no tear coming out.

Rubbish. Pretty tasteless all round. Three seconds longer in the fryer and the onion rings would be fit for the ashtray. The 'medium' burger was more rare than a five-leaved clover. 50% discount and I feel cheated. Delivery guy was nice.

I ordered 3 items and 2 out of the 3 were wrong. I got sent skinny fries instead of onion rings and mayo instead of garlic mayo. 🙄

The manager didn’t apply the offer of “2 pounds kids menu with full paying adult menu” discount to my bill. I saw the receipt and complained to him but he said he couldn’t refund me the extra. He said I can come back to use it next time. Won’t come back. Very disappointed.

Great experience. I had a movie night last week, so I telephoned for my food to be preordered. My food came out almost immediately once I arrived. Hot, fresh and tasted great, all in all a fabulous experience. I would like to highlight one particular waitress Aiden, she was spot on, with such attention to detail, Thank you GBK, I will definitely be back real soon

Would give more stars as potentially can be great but if you can choose to have burger medium rare, but it cames well done it’s almost waste of food for me specially after teasing you that you will have juicy proper meat and it arrive well done… other than that was ok

You did I not deliver onion rings in my order

Very poor customer service. We ordered GBK burgers and fries through Just Eat and half the items were missing. On Just Eat we could only request a refund - we could not request the missing items to be delivered. So we phoned the restaurant and they were really unhelpful. The restaurant admitted it had messed up the order but rather than trying to put things right, they said we needed to contact Just Eat. But Just Eat had no mechanism for requesting missing items. The restaurant could have easily sent the missing items to us in a taxi or via another Just Eat driver. Instead they said we had to contact Just Eat. GBK East Dulwich has no idea about customer service. We will not order from the company again.

They never have Korean chicken and onion rings, the service is terrible

Half the order was missing. And On the JustEat app there’s no way of requesting missing items - you can only request a refund. So We phoned the restaurant to see what they could do. And they couldn’t do anything as it’s 2 separate companies - Just Eat and Gourmet Burger Kitchen. With missing items The process is convoluted: GBK has to phone JustEat to request a new driver… and that process failed so… anyway… we have requested a refund and lewon’t order again on a busy rainy big sporting night!

Some reservations about the presentation of the place, very tired looking (and dare I say not the cleanest looking). However, the food was undeniably good. 😲

While the price has increased significantly since I last ordered food from Gourmet Burger Kitchen, the choice and quality of the food has deteriorated massively. My local kebab shop does a far better job. I will not be ordering from Gourmet Burger Kitchen again.

Not the best GBK I'm afraid. We had dinner last night - they brought wrong burgers and it took 40 to bring the right one! Restaurant old and tatty, not praticularly clean either. Manager grumpy and unapologetic - quite shocked at their behaviour.

Went into an empty restaurant. The female server obviously hated her job and couldn’t even be bothered to look us in the eye. Food took 25 mins to arrive and chips were cold. All in all, a horrible Sunday afternoon experience.

Baby.how can i.order from my mans favourite restaurant only for my food to get wrongly ordered and then because i trust the well established oiled machine. I dumbly order my meal again. Only for it to to be a fall from grace and land onto a.black hole of.distaste. your burgers have ruined my Friday Fridays. Which was all hsd this week from mu busy stressful week

They firstly delivered the wrong meal offered to make.the correct one but the requested that i left my well planned date night after.not seeing my Hubble for ages and then took so long to deliver it didn't ecen arrive at room temperature ir came as if.they took out freezer and used the.oil as a crisp as.i.had to.heat.up my ebtire.meal

Been to a few different GBKs over the years and I have to say this one is by far the best. The staff here always make sure our visit is an enjoyable one. We thoroughly enjoyed our food - cheeseburger and sweet potato fries(and a cheeky beer!) Those chef's know what they're doing! A big shout out to Kayla who served us and brought a gooood energy whilst doing so, we like kayla! And Jade, who knows the meaning of 'teamwork' and 'going above and beyond'. She was due to clock out as we came into the restaurant, but stayed on past her shift(on a Saturday!)to make sure we were sorted out first. This is nothing but the usual treatment we experience (+watch being given to other customers as well!). Great job guys, keep it up

Got the classic chicken burger. Chicken was pink and grey. It wasn't crispy. Chicken has very odd texture. Bun was soft and wet which made it have a horrible texture. Ordered chunky skin on fries which were extremely oily and weren't. Service was great, my takeaway came quite quickly after ordering. Overall OK experience but wouldn't go there again.

This is the second time I have ordered from them and they have not met my dietary requirements. I asked for no tomatoes or house relish in my burger however the burger came with both.

We've had a really wonderful experience at GBK today. We gathered with some of my son's friends to celebrate his birthday. Thank you to Martin and Kaila, who could not have been more ready to help and make his day enjoyable. They went beyond the call of duty to look after us and were very friendly and professional on the phone when they were taking my order the day before. It all run like clockwork and everyone had fun. Terrible service. Took an hour. An hour! To get my food prepared. No excuse. Don’t accept the order of you know it can’t be fulfilled before the restaurant closes.
