Our 4th visit, lovely wonderful staff. Real value for money. Why pay £26 for 8 oz sirloin steak in Freefolk, when you can have 16oz rump steak for the same price at The George St. Mary Bourne. Lovely atmosphere, great value for money.

The Crown The StreetSo great to see Jimbo and Stevo back at The Crown. Had a great meal this evening. Steve did a wonderful diary and gluten free meal for a fussy member of our group at the last minute without any notice. Such a nice vibe to this Village pub.

Reading roadIt wasn’t until we walked out and properly researched this place that we saw the 1/5 star hygiene rating. Very friendly people but you need to do better. It’s not okay to serve food like that.
