The George & Dragon in Tonbridge and Malling

Went to see Scott Elvis today and very disappointed that they had delayed his appearance for 3 hours due to "football" on the tv!! 😡 How can you not have known it was on??? Unfortunately, we don't all follow the oub on social media.

A pub being that, no more no less. Friendly and warm with no pretentious. The fact that so many people meet up with friends there tells you all you need to know. Now serving food, All burgers £10, all pizzas £9-10, plenty of options for folk. Still serves local ale 👍🏻 Now run by a lovely man, Martin. The garden is great in the summer and even has sport TV in the garden, but don't worry if sport isn't your thing there's enough corners you can hide away for a quiet drink, but not at the weekend or match night 🤣

Our football club, Roselands FC has made the George our new 'home' pub after games on Saturdays. The boys love the pub, it's atmosphere, the wide selection of beers, excellent service and emphasis on sports and music. Most Saturdays end with a couple of games of killer on one of the two pool tables! The food really is excellent, and the boys are usually ordering one o the burgers on offer each week. Thanks to Martin and the team for making us feel welcome.

First time I've been to that pub since its been refurbished. Very nice atmosphere and a great beer garden

First time visit meeting up with friends who live locally. A great traditional English pub, with a lovely beer garden, great food, plenty of tvs for watching sport and a meat raffle. Would definitely return.

Much has changed since the new management took over, overall the pub is much better than it once was. Great beer garden, live sports good selection of beer and a friendly atmosphere, what more could you want

This is the best burger - ever!!!!! Mushroom and Stilton burger - with the best chips. This is not a gastro pub but still an excellent standard! This is a real pub! Pool table! Jukebox! Sports TV! A proper pub!

We had a lovely time in the pub garden very friendly bar staff. Its recently been refurbished and more to my taste. I visited a few years ago and it was a bit of a lads pub this time it felt different so we will be back we also shared a very tasty pizza.

Aggressive, rude landlord. Real shame, as the last landlord was great! I will never step foot in that dump again. I strongly advise any other pub in Tonbridge.

give it a miss if you wanna watch football. Booked well in advance and was seated 4 miles back in a hastily arranged setup where a better view could be had on a phone.

Always lots of gins on offer, which I love! Lovely landlord and landland always accommodating! The garden is very nice in the summer, mixture of age groups in the pub, always someone like minded! They have good bands and disco nights too!

Had my wife's 50th birthday in this great traditional English pub last night and also mine in June. Such a great night on both occasions and the staff are brilliant behind the bar, very quick service.Garth and Lisa who run the place, put balloons and banners up and made both nights very special. It really is a great pub and how pubs should be. If you are ever in Tonbridge I would recommend you visit this great place for a drink or two. Thanks again for a great night last night

Had a family and friends gathering. Always been a good pub but been a few years since my last visit. Staff are really friendly and efficient. Prices are great and the place is big, lots of room, sports on tv, pleasant place to spend an evening.

Great night , very accommodating for a 21st get together with dj, Staff were brill as were facilities, shall visit again thanks guys.

It's a pub. It has a garden. No nonsense.

They serve Harvey's Sussex bitter here. It's well kept and delicious. The bar has a friendly vibe, with a selection of comfortable seating. Well worth stopping off here.

Went in to watch the champions league match. Very busy pub with a great selection of differing sized tv screens. Good choice of beers and nice atmosphere.

Suprisingly large inside. Lots of televisions around the pub so you won't miss much of the sport. Place didn't take cash so make sure you stock up with some before coming. Good amount of seating too so one of the better places to go on a busy night.

Very surprised to see good reviews here. Been here twice, had the landlady accuse us of being underage and telling us to leave before we had even sat down, went outside for a smoke and had some dirty old man at the bar slagging us off to our girlfriends, and seen people selling drugs in the toilets. Somehow this place has 4-5 star reviews though, guess I went on a bad night.

This is a traditional pub that shows most sporting fixtures on the large screen TVs. So whether you want to watch Premiership football, rugby or tennis they will try and accommodate you. The garden is has plenty of places to sit and there is a covered smoking area. You can also play darts or pool.

This is establishment is a traditional pub and sports bar, the bar staff are friendly, the beer is of a good quality and you can watch the game from almost anywhere in the pub, enough said!

This pub is in a nice location has a lovely outside area for eating the food is good but very expensive seating is very cramped

Acabamos de regresar de comer el domingo. La comida de calidad. Comenzamos con Pigeon y crab cake. Ambos excelentes. Soy bastante mimados con un pastel de cangrejo Maryland de viajes a los Estados Unidos, por lo que no coincida con pero muy agradable. El marido luego tuvimos la carne tradicional y tuve salchichas y puré. Tanto la buena carne de buena calidad, bien presentado y muy sabroso. Estaba completamente lleno, así que tienes que reservar una mesa y probablemente no vale la pena visitar para una bebida ya que está preparado para comer. menú de Navidad también tenían buena pinta!
