Always lovley food, can't fault the place. The staff are always lovley and welcoming too when I go to collect.

Although i was text it would be late i didnt expect it to be an hour late also the popadoms were stale which was disapointing.

Popadoms were smashed up like a jigsaw puzzle,,, no chips, no chutney sauce,. Usually no issues but must of been busy.

Everything arrived hot, every meal and side was delicious.

I usually order from here and have done about 3 or 4 times before. I don't know if they have changed chef or something but food was only OK tonight. Onion bhajis were a bit over done and chicken tikka massala was tasteless really and the mango chutney was not as nice or the bhaji sauce. Normally the food is gorgeous.

Food wasn’t very hot. I ordered the vegetarian makhonwalla. Wasn’t impressed with veggies. It consisted of a tiny bit of mushroom and mainly potatoes.

Ordered at 6.30, delivery said 8-8.20, called at 8.30 was told 9.10, called at 9.45 was told it’s on its way. It’s 10.20 and it’s still not here. 4 hours for a curry. Absolute jokers, lost a regular customer

Portions have gone smaller prices have risen keema rice had no meat at all basically brown rice ,,been going here over 20yrs gone down hill used to be brilliant disapioment all round

Amazing Indian food. Exterior doesn't look great but the food more than makes up for the lack of aesthetics. We will be revisiting soon

Best Indian in crosby by far. Food is amazing. Restaurant quality. Lady who delivered it reunited a dog with one of the neighbours as it had got out without them knowing which was good of her. Won't order from anywhere else.

Have previously had lovely food but on this occasion the naan was bland and not a nice texture. The tandoori chicken didn't taste particularly nice either. The tikka massala and onion bhaji were tasty.

Picked up.food ready within half an hour, and I wasn't expecting this as new years eve food was lovely will deffo go back again

I hope you actually read this comment and hear what me,and everyone else is saying in these comments - your Indian food is the best around by far... so y does it take hours every time to get delivered !?! listen to the people. read the comments . improve the delivery drivers or hire more of them. that's what is letting your amazing food down every time in the reviews- people complaining about the waiting times !

Food was ok. Weren’t amazing. But I waited just under 3 hours for my food. When ordering, the delivery time would be 60-70 mins. Then as soon as the order was accepted by the restaurant they pushed it back to 2 hours. It arrived 2hrs and 50 mins after I ordered

Meal was cold bit disappointing

Delivery came over 2 hours after I ordered it. Ordered it at a reasonable time and now we are eating it at a very late hour

It took a while to get here but the restaurant was spot on with their delivery time estimate. The food was superb too!

Chips were awful obviously from yesterday and the poppadoms were stale.

Order of Crosby eats said 50 mins 1 hour 50 turned up chips we're un eatable and chicken was dreadful rice was fine never ever again what a waste of 33 pound

Pre ordered at 5.50pm for our food to arrive at 8.15pm it didn't arrive till 9.40pm. The restaurant had 2hrs 25minutes to make and deliver our food yet it took them 3hrs 50 minutes. That's just under 4hrs that is absolutely atrocious for any food delivery service. Wouldn't even mind but the food wasn't worth the wait. I have ordered from her before and the food was great, still had a delay on delivery but it was nowhere near 4 hrs. Think I will be giving this place a miss from now on unfortunately. The amount of reviews stating how bad the wait is, you would think they would employ more delivery drivers etc.

Terrible tonight. Ordered at 5:20pm arrived at 8pm- called restaurant a few times until someone answered, said they had been busy with a rude tone, woman on the phone needs to sort her attitude out. I understand it’s busy for a saturday night but only ordered 2 kormas and 2 portions of rice 🫠 Food arrived warm but not hot. Don’t think i’ll be ordering from the gate for a while !

Took 1 hr and 40 minutes to arrive, the chips were inedible and we had ordered 3 portions so a complete waste of money. The rest of the food was nice, if a bit bland. But we've been to the restaurant before and the food was nice so hoping it was just a blip on this occasion.

Best Indian in Waterloo or around for miles! Every time we have ordered from here the food from here it has been absolutely beautiful. This time we had the prawn butterfly starter which was incredible. The prawns were huge and beautifully coated. We had a house special curry, it tasted out of this world and the mushroom rice is just something else. Thank you so much for your amazing food, every time :D

Greeted by Chloe ,very nice lady ,then Naz came over ,really nice friendly staff ..Had a lovely meal tonight, prawn cocktail/mixed kebab & poppadoms chutney starters ,chicken tikka jalfrezzi with pilau rice, lamb curry pilau rice mains ...mmmmm ,never left any ,did take some of my main jalfrezzi home as the meal was so big ..love going the gate of india as its local,welcoming staff,lovely atmosphere, great food & very good value for money..definitely recommend it 👌

Food still hasn't arrived its now 9:35 and food was suppose to be arriving before 8:35 despite ordering it at 7pm. Rang them at 9 and was told it was on its way out, but the restaurant is only 10 mins away, can't get hold of them now. Not happy and won't be ordering again.

Really disappointing 1.5 late and tandoori mixed grill was cold. Popadom arrived smashed Restaurant took too many orders and couldn't meet delivery. Will not order again

Unfortunately food was sub standard ... not as good as normal.. chips felt like they were cooked twice and they were cold ... bhuna was not like they're normal bhuna .... chicken very chewy felt like it was a frozen substitute...

Waited over 2hrs n 15 mins for delivery. Then food was like warm . Wont be ordering from here again . Personally I think I should get my money back
