Pleasant cafe in the garden centre with reasonably priced, nice food. Never going to set the culinary world alight but it does what it says on the tin.

We always visited Thompsons for plants etc and missed going for a meal in the cafe afterwards whilst refurbishment were carried out. Yesterday we visited cafe for a meal and was very disappointed at what the new menu had to offer. Instead of the home friendly menu, it was exactly like any cafe on the island, no meals (except breakfast), just sandwiches, overpriced baked potatoes and a small selection of cakes. The larger area has made it lose some of the character it had before, lots of empty tables, no birds in the surrounding bushes, think we are going to give it a miss from now on.

Stopped for Breakfast and was pleasantly surprised with what they served. It was tasty, well presented and served, all at a fair price. Unlike many other Cafes in Garden centres it didn't have the usual accompanying din of noise, so that was good. It was all of the standard you would expect and get in a typical cafe, but set in a much more spacious environment. All in all, I wouldn't recommend them for anything fancy, or a special occasion, but for a basic Breakfast it was great. Well worth a return visit.

A bit pricey, but the cafe and the food gave a nice experience. Specially in the courtyard watching kids play and sitting under grapes tree.

Lack of choice. Although it was morning the cafe had a limited supply of scones and those they did have were a little stale - yesterdays stock? Bacon & egg roll was greasy and unpleasant. No air conditioning in cafe and forced to sit outside due to heat. Really need to get their act together.

Ordered a BEC with salt pepper ketchup… get home to realize I’ve got an egg and cheese with no meat. Disappointed.

Had a really lovely cosy lunch in here on a cool Autumn day. Really warm service and the food was enjoyable. Great location for looking out to sea.

Everytime i get to have a look at Costa Newport Shropshire website, the thin that greets me on the Google listing is a review from trip adivsor and this is 10 - yes ten - years old!! It say it is" the worst Costa ever". I am a local elderly lady and I go down there 2-3 times a week. I go on my own. The coffee is excellent, the atmosphere is warm and homely. The seats are comfortable and padded. It upsets me that Trip-Advisor can keep plugging this ten year old review. How dare they do this!! it is shocking. I havent dont a trip advisor review for 2-3 years, but I am fed up with this report. Please take it off.

It's very busy in the summer season, but it still manages to produce great food. In the winter, it's the one pub that is consistently open, no matter what the weather or footfall. Throughout the winter, there are special deals on meals, which are cooked to a very high standard. The staff are really friendly and helpful and if you want any changes to your meal, they are only too willing to help. If you come to Yarmouth pop in, you will be looked after and enjoy a lovely meal and beverage of your choice. The location is great, but the phone signal is very poor. You may have to walk up the peir.
