Had the standard mixed grill. Egg was hard. Everything else okay. But not as good as the woolwich arsenal restaurant

Some good cheap meal deals, meals with a drink of your choice, the staff are friendly and accomadting and the online ordering app is slick and easy and the food comes out real quick and is good value for what you pay for its a good place to grab a meal before a movie.

I can't believe how busy this place was on a Saturday morning.

Prices are great. Service is very lovely.

We generally have the curry which is delicious

My local Wetherspoons , unlike most Wetherspoons the toilets 🚻 are on the same level , staff have always been good every time we have been there .

Typical large Wetherspoon pub. Good drinks and food and low prices. Handy for a break when shopping.

It's just a shame the standards of the food have gone down hill, from the last time I'd been here. Also the portion sizes of the meals have gotten smaller. A very disappointing visit I'm afraid to say. Won't be rushing back. It's sad because I've always enjoyed , all my previous visits !!!

Went for a date on a Wednesday night. The pub is huge. It wasn’t packed. We sat in a booth (love those) and ordered via the app from their 3 snacks for xxx (I don’t know how much it was). We ordered grilled halloumi, spicy meat feast pizza and loaded chips. It was all very good. The pizza was incredibly tasty. This is one of the better ‘spoons for food. We also had a bottle of white wine and beers. A bottle of wine costs around the same as two small glasses of wine in a London pub. Always good value. The staff were quick and responsive.

The service was amazing enjoyed talking to mason and Emily was really helpful and polite would definitely come back again

8oz sirloin steak peas chips onion rings peppercorn sauce The positives : steak cooked to perfection, got around 5 onion rings (3) stated on the menu, The Negatives: steak was 6oz of beautiful steak 2oz of FAT, not all the chips were cooked through Overall still good value

This was a lunchtime snack had the southern fried wrap and coffee, wrap was hot, and very nice, first time around, only got half a cup of coffee, tried a different machine and got a full refill. Had to order at the bar as wifi was very slow.

As a local Furze Wren has had a reputation for decades for good food and it still has it. Order through the app or at the bar. We are still exploring the food menu so cannot comment on everything. This week we had the pub classic scampi+chips and the ramen with buttermilk friend chicken. The noodle was quite good, not as good as a Japanese restaurant but pretty decent. Equally the scampi tasted quite nice and buttery, not as good as the cod+chips so I’ll likely order that again next time. Apologies for the photos I was happily engorged on the scampi before I realised.

Ideal place to eat for families as reasonable priced. Feel it could do with a bit of a freshen up - seats quiet worn, carpets stained, tables marked and menus very dirty. Ladies toilets were in desperate need of a revamp and deep clean!

One of the best pubs in Bexleyheath.

Turned up at this massive busy pub last Sunday at about 3.30 with 7 friends who get together infrequently. The whole place was heaving with Birthday party groups, large families and the usual Sunday drinkers/eaters. Some of us were hungry whilst a few just wanted a warm drink. Those of us who wanted a meal ambled up to the bar and made our orders. We all expected a long wait but within minutes the meals were bought over. And the meals were good sized and inexpensive. I’ve never seen a restaurant with so many choices. It’s my first ever visit to a Wetherspoons and I was very impressed. Of special note I’d like to give a mention to a waitress named Bella. That girl worked harder than I’ve ever seen anyone at an eaterie. If she wasn’t delivering meals she was clearing tables or sweeping the floor. All with a smile. Whatever they pay her isn’t enough. If I had any cash on me I would have given her a large tip as she certainly had earned it. If and when I go in the next time, I’m going to take some money for her. She’s a credit to your company. Overall a great first time experience for me. 10/10

It was a lovely lunch with my daughter and granddaughter after some xmas shopping I cant eat a lot but they have small plates which was perfect for me although my meal came wrong it was soon rectified buzzing pub and a very enjoyable time was had by us all xx

Como siempre con las cucharas, es exactamente lo que esperas. Buena comida y bebida a un precio razonable. Una cosa que me pareció extraña fue que son las únicas cucharas en las que he estado que fueron inflexibles en que no devolvieron el dinero. La mayoría de lo que he estado haciendo, pero esto era tal vez 2 empleados que no se dieron cuenta, etc. No puedo quejarme en absoluto, un lugar barato para comer y beber mientras está fuera de casa en un curso

As always with wetherspoons, it's exactly what you expect. Good food and drink at a reasonable price. One thing I did find odd was it's the only wetherspoons I've been to who were adamant they didn't do cash back. Most I've been to do but this was maybe 2 staff who didn't realise etc. Can't complain at all really, a cheap place to eat and drink while away from home on a course

Great place with cheap food and alcohol

We came for my birthday me and my husband and I ordered gourmet sirloin stake, which I'm sure was not sirloin but rump it was tough as old boots, and I even struggled to cut it with the stake knife my husband's stake wasn't any better. Then we ordered dessert, hoping to redeem the meal. I ordered sticky toffee pudding with ice cream, my husband got apple crumble with ice cream, my son ordered shortbread millionaire, and my daughter the warm chocolate brownie by the time we received our dessert it was like soup the ice cream melted completely and the warm items cold.

All the best parts of enjoying cheap and cheerful food at a Wetherspoons.

As a single woman I fell safe coming here. I drink the rose wine and it's lovely. Friendly staff, sometimes more staff are needed but overall, a good place to go

Lovely pub, but it was so busy. There was a fair few kids just screaming their heads off - not the pubs fault, fully the parents fault.

Tipical spoons, cheap and cheerful one good thing about this one is that you don't have a 1/2 mile walk to the toilets, the food is the usual Wetherspoons fare but we order table service via the app and it's very fast even at busy times.

The Furze Wren - JD Wetherspoon Bexleyhesth Food is Ok for a JDW, really. The staff and atmosphere is good for a change.. I’ve not been to this Wetherspoons for ages & the changes in staff and clientele is different, for the better. Ordered a Steak midium Rare, was over done. Maybe stick to the pub grub next time. Good selection of drinks. If you want a reason for a drink and something to eat on the go, here's the place.

The man in the silk shirt (I think named billy) was a delight to be served by. I can’t choose what was better, him in the silk shirt or the chicken wings I ate. Great experience.

Been here pretty much every Fridays with friends. Value for the money and service is amazing...

Cheap drink and food, decor needs updating. Update ... new carpet now and a little refresh. Looks a bit better. Definitely can't be beaten for value.

Food average really but staff and atmosphere is good if you want a cheap drink and something to eat... They should put toilets at either end of this eatery as that gets on people's nerves and they have enough space..mens one end and womans and disabled the other end.

Been going to this Wetherspoons for breakfast for many years with my partner, and without a doubt it's the best! Food and staff are wonderful and service is faultless and quick.

Quick service Great food quality Unfortunately gets too crowded. When you come outside the surroundings are not great as well and if you are not in a group can be easy to be scared

I’ve been to this Wetherspoons for ages & the changes I’ve seen are catastrophic. One of the male staff with black hair & glasses. Accused me of vaping inside the premises while it was sitting on the table. Staff are very unfriendly, unwelcoming & arrogant. My gran goes here & mentions that her plates & drinks will get taken even though they’re not finished with their food & drinks. Go Turnpike or Wrongun instead. Please don’t spoil your day & go here. This place is a complete joke.

Really nice place to visit very large seating area inside and outside, very clean. Quite a small amout of toilets for such a large pub but they are kept clean which is the main thing. They staff are polite and the service was fast

Bear in mind this is a budget establishment and you get what you pay for. Do not expect gourmet dining. But the beer is good and competitively priced. But as is tradition, the toilets are a hike so make sure you go well before you really need to

It was a fantastic atmosphere and the food was amazing

Come here for cheap prices and good food. It's a cozy place clearly popular with the locals. It can get busy, but the service is always fast and kind. Ordering is done through the app. The toilets are clean, although some doors are damaged. Overall, we were happy after having dinner here, while not overpaying it.

Lovely food and very affordable. Come here all the time.

Cheap beer weatherspoon pub grub average boozer

The furz wren is just your typical weatherspoons. The food is as good as can be expected for the price and the drinks are nice and cheap. As it's a big weatherspoons it can take a while for table service as its always busy. But the staff are always polite and I've never seen any trouble in there unlike other bars or pubs in Bexleyheath. Worth a visit for a cheap night out

Very convenient and a good selection in the middle of a tiring shopping day or pre-cinema.

Very noisy at peak times. Staff seem to be always under pressure, but they cope brilliantly even during the busiest times.

To ne honest all wetherspoons are the same come in order food and drink leave.Quick service order on the app saves time.

Really to to clear and clean your tables before punters sit down and have to clean themselves

I had the Fish Chips Peas. The Fish was large, twice the size of what you would get in Fish Shop and cooked lovely. I also had an Alcoholic drink. The Cost was £10.49. Considering I would of paid about £4 for the drink in a pub, all in all a very good value meal.

great location for a night out/after work, friendly staff members along with good quality food, especially the chips and wings, definitely worth a try! shame they close at 12 though🤣

Lovely to sit outside but soo dark inside

Staff very friendly and efficient, unfortunately the atmosphere is very intimidating with large groups of men drinking heavily early in the morning. Also way too many gambling machines.

Is this establishment really suitable for vegans? At first glance, you would think so. Offering a variety of options to choose from a fully vegan menu. However the complete lack of care and vigilance from the kitchen staff, combined with the fact that the staff do not enquire about any allergies or intolerances (which should be standard practice in any restaurant) you are at risk of consuming animal products. After ordering the only vegan dessert on the menu (a torte with coconut ice cream) and the waitress specifically confirmed it was a ‘vegan torte’ when serving it, I had no doubt that it met my dietary requirements. However, after just one bite of what I believed was coconut ice cream, I knew that it didn’t. After 8 years of being vegan, I had just eaten dairy because of someone else’s incompetence. I promptly made it to the bathroom and vomited, and continued doing so the rest of the night at home. Luckily for me, I follow this diet for ethical reasons rather than allergies. Unfortunately that is not the case for many people. My experience resulted in an upset stomach, but it could have been fatal for someone else. After informing a manager, she merely offered a round of drinks, which was the last thing I wanted. Still extremely upset, I did not want to leave without some kind of justice. That is when we found the absolute GEM that is Lewis. Lewis was completely understanding and professional. He proceeded to provide us with a full refund and assured us that he would personally take care of us if we were to visit again. His sheer kindness and professionalism salvaged an otherwise disastrous evening. If it was up to me, he would be promoted to manager. While Lewis’s actions were commendable, the overall experience was alarming. The Furze Wren needs to significantly improve its practices and staff training to ensure the safety and satisfaction of its customers, especially those with dietary restrictions. Until then, I cannot recommend this restaurant to vegans or anyone with specific dietary needs.

The price of drinks is relatively cheap, the food is good and there are many choices, the waiter service is very good, and it is a good place for close friends to have sex

As what can be expected from Wetherspoons..Good beer & food for the price. Toilets could have done with a clean.

Orderd 2 steak dinners. One with mash,onion rings, 1 mushroom half tomato. The other dinner was steak and chips. We ended up leaving most of the food as it was inedible. Best bit of all was the beer. 🤷‍♀️🙈 very disappointed indeed.

Only visited a few shops... very lively place in the evening with live music at cafes. Avtar cafe - very welcoming and friendly people. Mahamad the singer, Ahmed th3 cool dude who was cheerleadijg England and Fredo the henna dude were all fabulous

Ordered a mea and didn’t get my drink even thou I got charged. Waiter was not helpful and food was cold.
