Superb service great ambiance for a bar. We had Cobb salads and their crab cheese melt thingie. Always a great place.

Incredible!! We came for brunch and were very pleased. I had the chicken and waffles and got a Bloody Mary - both fantastic. Portions are pretty big and filling. The place is small, so if you don’t get there early you can expect a wait. But it’s well worth it!

Adding to my review from 6 months ago. This time we came for brunch on Sunday and were able to get a table outside just after the rain passed. Hostess was kind and prompt to clean/dry the table and chairs for us. This was fortunate because even at 10:45 am, there was a 45 minute wait. The food was even better than last time. We tried the monte cristo and the fried chicken sliders on buttermilk biscuits. Both were fantastic! Again, get the Bloody Mary.

I do read reviews but if the menu looks good I will try it. It was more of a small dark place with outside dining in front. I was surprised that it was small. The menu was large; a page for burgers, appetizers and so it continued. As I studied there was a continuous line of dishes leaving the kitchen which attracted my attention, so appetizing. I chose the scotch egg. A definite British influence and a favorite of mine. It was flavorful with a soft yolk. The beef Wellington bites were everything I wanted. The meat was so tender and succulent. The pastry was flaky and crisp. The bar was well stocked, staff were friendly and helpful. Now I have a dilemma do I go back tomorrow, yes it was that good or do I keep exploring the Wilmington restaurants.

After driving all day, we decided to have dinner at the Fork N Cork. This was our first visit to Wilmington, and our sever at the restaurant, Shannon, treated us as though we were special guests. The restaurant was super busy; however, Shannon talked to us about Wilmington highlights. We shared the crispy chicken sandwich with fries. It was delicious. The food proportions are huge and the french fries are freshly cut. We highly recommend the restaurant for its food and service.

This burger is a very close second to a Smith & Wollensky NYC burger, which is a tremendous compliment. We highly recommend the Shwiss burger and the perfectly crisp Onion Rings!

On a Friday night, we were pleasantly surprised that our wait would only be 30 minutes. (Took us nearly that long to drive around and find a parking place.) After 35 minutes, we were seated promptly at the bar a gracious 6-feet away from the next patrons. Bar was clean, masks were worn by all staff, and we felt very safe. Ordered a hamburger and a meatloaf sandwich and both were juicy and hot with all the right components. My pile of delicious fries was immense. My husband’s pile of onion rings was puny, and the server even addressed how small a portion he was served. She said she would bring out some more but never did, and we really didn’t care because of the mound of fries I had. We didn’t get the mac and cheese, but once we saw it being served to someone else, we wish we had.

My family loves the food here. For an appetizer we had the fries pickles and scotch egg, they were both delicious. My daughter had the spicy chicken sandwich and my other daughter had the chicken and waffles . I had the regular chicken sandwich. The fries and onion rings are fire

When entering this restaurant, we we were crowded at the entryway amongst other potential diners. Then we were given a used, wrinkled paper menu that had obviously been used by many other diners. While waiting for service, we noted a server delivering food to a nearby table. The server had her face mask below her mouth, under her chin as she served the meals. As the server walked away from the table. she raised her facemask up to cover her mouth and nose. Go figure........ We immediately left this restaurant, never to return!! Ugh!!!!!!!!

Amazing food 🥘. One of the best burgers and fries I ever had at a restaurant. Small quaint place but you won’t be disappointed in the food and service.

Took a quick trip to Wilmington for the weekend and decided to try somewhere new, ended up here. The online reviews were very positive overall and the food looked super good. Arrived Saturday night expecting a wait, put our name on the list, and they texted us about an hour and 15 minutes later, which was in the time frame they predicted. Sat at one of the outdoor tables as we requested. Had rattlesnake bites as the appetizer. Very spicy stuffed jalapenos, breaded and deep fried, good but light on the filling. "Flirtini" cocktail tasted pretty much like straight alcohol. Strong drinks aren't usually a complaint but it was a cocktail with no flavor of the pineapple or other things that were supposed to be mixed in. Our sandwiches were the Reuben and pimiento cheese burger. The wait time between receiving our entree and meal was ridiculous, we were not checked on and not even drink refills were offered. With social distancing in effect and not that many people even at the establishment at one time the wait was unacceptable. The food looked really good when he brought it out, but that is where the "good" ended. Reuben was dry meat with maybe a spoonful total on the entire huge sandwich of kraut and dressing. Mac and cheese was decent. Burger was not only on dry bread, but the meat itself was too dry to eat; and yes it was ordered well done but that is the only way I eat them and have never had one too dry to finish, with not enough of the bland pimiento cheese to help get it down. Only redeeming quality was the pile of fries, they were pretty good. We would have been glad to address any of these issues with the server and maybe resolved them and written a favorable review, but we did not see him anymore until we ate what we could (sadly not even a third of the meal) and waiting another 30 minutes for him to pop up with the check and say see ya. Not how was your meal, not come back soon, not kiss my foot. Here's your bill and your boxes. Was really looking forward to eating here based on the online rating but will not be returning based on the lack of flavorful food, extensive waits, and poor service.

My mouth was watering just reading the menu amd the food itself made my tastebuds burst with their savory flavors and texture! Boy your average appetizers and the meats~ beef Wellington, burgers, chicken-n-dumplings, brisket were out of this world! This place was totally worth the wait! We’ll be back!

We were swayed by the reviews of their burgers and were not disappointed. They were moist, juicy, cooked perfectly and there are plenty of options for toppings. Hand cut fries are a little thin. Sweet potato fries are dusted with considerable cinnamon & sugar. Recommend a side of ranch to balance. Good beer menu with local, regional and standard options. One disappointment was fried pickles - thin strips of pickle in a lot of batter. Could not taste pickle at all. Food portions are substantial and easily shareable for the average diner. We will definitely be back to try some of the other menu options. Plenty of items that sounded and looked terrific.

¡Simplemente delicioso! Dividimos un Reuben con carne en conserva casera. ¡Magnífico y enorme! Un montón de deliciosas patatas fritas caseras para acompañar. No olvide pedir una Wilmington Tropical IPA para colmo. También vi hamburguesas y se veían igualmente deliciosas. Tuvimos un servidor maravilloso y encantador. Desafortunadamente, no sé su nombre. Solo decía AM Bar en nuestro recibo. Almorzamos y comimos afuera. Ella fue muy útil para nosotros mayores de las torres. El lugar es pequeño por dentro. Esperamos para sentarnos afuera. Mi marido y yo disfrutamos de este restaurante durante nuestra estancia en Carolina Beach. El servicio fue excelente, la comida es creativa y muy sabrosa. ¡Los de Bruselas son los mejores! ! ¡También comimos artículos de brunch al día siguiente después de cenar! Tan conveniente para ir. Mi marido tenía pollo y gofres. No solo fue delicioso, sino la presentación de un chef experimentado. Te lo recomiendo mucho. ¡Disfrutar!

First time eating here & it was unbelievable! The best burger I’ve ever eaten!!! The wait staff was great, cannot say enough great things about this place!!

Soy un autoproclamado "entusiasta" que tiene 84 articulaciones Triple D en todo el país y un sinnúmero de otros restaurantes de primera categoría. ¡Todo fue perfecto! Teníamos las picaduras de poutine y cascabel como aperitivos. Nuestras principales entradas fueron el Reuben, la ensalada de remolacha asada con pollo ennegrecido y una hamburguesa de tocino. También tuvimos las coles de Bruselas crujientes. Conner and Shannon were exceptional ! Great food I had never been there and it’s my new favorite place! The monte cristo best ever!!

My wife a I had breakfast here yesterday 3/15. I had the French Toast with pecans and Carmel sauce. Awesome! We got there a little after 10, no lines. Service was great. My wife had a salad with fried chicken, also awesome.One of my favorite low key places in Wilmington.

We stopped in for lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, the staff, the other patrons, the beer and the food. Being from out of town we relied on a few suggestions from the bartender and nearby customers. The ideas did not disappoint. Not only did we leave with satisfied stomachs, but we were given great suggestions of where to go for dinner and what to do for the afternoon and evening.

We stopped here for dinner on a Monday night. We made it just in time because the place filled up fast! And we know why...Awesome beer/wine selection, burgers cooked the way you like, and packed with flavor, just DELICIOUS! Cozy and clean environment. Excellent service. Loved it!!!

Tiny place with a fantastic menu and a great beer selection. The Rattlesnake Bites (Jalepeno Poppers) were crazy good. The mac and cheese with brisket made my husband swoon. Their burgers were HUGE and delightfully delicious and with unusual toppings. WOW just thinking about this place makes me happy!

Super fresh food, amazing wine (fav is Troublemaker red blend), and service has always been great. Keep it up!

We were seated quickly and our server arrived promptly. He was very friendly and helpful. He had a great sense of humor and an excellent sense of service. We both ordered burgers (Build your own available in the menu). The beer and margarita were great.The burgers were amazing! Loved every bite!

I had a mixed greens salad to start forget to take a pic. For dinner i had one of the best chicken sandwiches ever....it was a spicy chicken....not breaded spicy, but meat spicy...yum. it came with fries, which were not really cooked well but i enjoyed the sandwich. FnC, Work on the fries please.....that is always a "must have" item for me and i was a little disappointed.

I went there with family and there was a 45 minute wait. Went for a walk and came back. Unfortunately I did not think it was worth the wait. My son had a hamburger, one of their special and I had the special of the night. Over all disappointed. Will not go back.

We couldn't get past the appetizers so fantastically yummy & filling. Roasted brussel sprouts, beef Wellington bites & fonduta. Super great service! We've eaten here every visit to Wilmington it's a small restaurant so wait times can be lengthy.

Wow! The servings are huge and the food was excellent. The salmon club sandwich was amazing. Our group order many items including the Hot Mess, Swiss burger, Chicken biscuits, biscuits and gravy to name a few. You get so much food that you will leave very full. The fried pickles and fries with cheese and gravy were outstanding. We will be back!!

Our group of seven enjoyed our dinner immensely. We tried several appetizers and burgers, salads, and even chicken and waffles. Cocktails were excellent as well. Only a couple of tables for our size group so the call ahead seating is wonderful! Our waiter was perfect too. Great place to take our out of town holiday guests.

Just not really very special meal experience at all. After reading reviews, I expected to at least be delighted by the food, but in reality found fault on both entrees ordered. The daily pot pie special was Smoked Turkey, so I went for it. Ignoring the fact that the pot pie is really a deep dish of stew with a bread pillow set on top (uh, that doesn't make it a pot pie - and it does make it difficult to spoon up crust with the stew bites!).....the real problem was that the turkey stew was WAY overpowered by the spice/herb treatment - I couldn't tell if it was tarragon or chervil or marjoram or all 3 but holy cow was it strong. Lots of pulled turkey meat for sure but I would have like to taste that instead of the spice cabinet! My side salad was a Caesar - with an absolutely unrecognizable dressing! It was a sour/bitter mix that had none of the savory true taste of a Caesar dressing - more like a buttermilk ranch gone bad. Hated it. Okay, so the wife gets an old classic - the Carolina Burger. This huge burger was aces on the meat, cheese and roll, no argument. But the feature adornments - chili & slaw - were poor toppings to say the least. The "chili" was again an overspiced mess - this time it was paprika that ran away with the sauce. Paprika dominated chili? Who loads chili up with paprika? My thought was it was covering up perhaps some older leftover meat distaste but perhaps not....just a bad chili flavor. And let me say that a huge handful of shredded purple cabbage heaped atop the chili is NOT slaw. Certainly NOT Carolina slaw. I suppose this was Fork&Cork;'s version of deconstructed/reconstructed classic Carolina Burger, but it was so remote from the real thing that it should be named something else. The wife said she liked it anyway, but my bite told me otherwise. So we dropped $60 on lunch that couldn't compete with any old diner or cheap comfort food dive. My advice would be to keep the chef's hands out of the spice jars - make him use teaspoons instead! Sorry Fork & Cork - these meals put me off for good.

Place was busy but server came to our table frequently to refill waters and see if we were okay. Food was terrific and portions were generous. Beet salad (not shown) was huge and served with homemade dressing. Surpassed our expectations for pub food/service.

Great service , nice outdoor seating , food is very good. Probably have to pay for parking. Great burgers, fries are great too, large portions, Mac n cheese was cooked right. We would definitely recommend this place.

We have been to the Fork N Cork previously and had a really terrific brunch. Today our lunch was also very tasty. I had Beef Wellington Bites (an appetizer) for my lunch. It came with two sauces on the side. One a delicious balsamic reduction, the other a creamy horseradish. I'm not a fan of any horseradish sauce so gave to my husband who loved it on his fries. There were 4 Wellington Bites. Completely delicious though a light on the steak. My husband had a pimento burger and fries. Both met rave reviews from him. I enjoyed a few of his fries as well. Yummy in the balsamic reduction. Service a little lax today.

Really like the 30 minute call ahead option. Food was great everyone at table got something different and everyone loved their food. Set outside so we were able to enjoy the live band playing around the corner. Would definitely go here again

.bartender keyed in the wrong salad....my wings were fantastic.....was overcharged and even had to tell them we were charged for 2 salads....great food but this place needs alot of retraining

Hubby said his burger was the biggest he’s ever had and the plate was piled with French fries. My Cobb salad was delicious.

The is a great place to dine. The food is very good and the atmosphere is quaint. The selections are plentiful and tasty. You can't go wrong dining at Fork-N-Cork.

Just got back and my one regret is that I didn't just send the plate back. I ordered the pimento burger on the waiter's recommendation. After 30 minute wait for a table, and then another 30 minute wait for the food, a luke warm burger arrived with a cold smear of pimento cheese. Yuck. Just don't understand how they can serve a warm burger...where was it? My husband's duck burger was only just warm also. Both were a mess and required a knife and fork to eat, not my idea of a "burger". Maybe all the positive reviews are weighing quantity over quality. This is NOT a 5 or even 4 star place. I do not recommend it and we will not return.

Small cozy place, do you may have to sit at bar or wait for a while, as popular. Fabulous burgers & sandwiches, efficient & friendly service, good beers—what more can one want?? Perfect spot if going for an evening stroll along the river or when coming through Wilmington.

The staff are super nice. Some unique stuff on the menu, super filing! Fried pickles were good. Salad good but not too big!

My wife and I had heard about this place from a person who highly recommended it and since we were evacuated from our beach we drove that way home to try it out. OMG it was wonderful and all we really had were some appetizers and drinks. If you’re going call ahead very small in size but huge selections. We had a fondue that was to die for as well as the crab bread and then we had the duck wings and the crispy Brussels sprouts. Even with this we had three boxes to take home. We wii be back and our server was great in helping select!

I had seen this small restaurant recommended for its burgers and I happened to walk by it at lunch time. The place was packed except for a couple of seats at the bar, which was perfect for us. Interesting variety of burgers including non beef variations. I went for the brisket on burger, being a fan of both and I was overwhelmed by the huge sandwich, which I couldn't finish, despite how good it was. Great service was provided as well.

Weopped in the new carolina beach location. We were so excited that it finally opened. I feel like they may have rushed it for labor day weekend bc it just doesnt look done. The service was also lacking. When we got there, only 4 other people were there. We ordered drinks and water, no water. We ordered the toasted crab bread and then our waitress disappeared. We could see her outside talking so i assume it was her break. 25 minutes later we got our crab bread. It was good but no longer warm because it sat there while she was on break. We asked for water again, still no water. We ordered dinner and it came in a reasonable time period, so we asked for water again. I had the salmon club which was great. Its really big and could be split. Each half has a nice piece of salmon. There was no bacon altough the menu said it came with bacon and the avocado was hard as a rock, but the bread was nine grain and great. The fries were very tasty as if cooked in some type of fat. The spicy crispy chicken was way too spicy hot. Dont get me wrong, we like spicy, jalapeno etc doesnt bother us but it has to have a point. This sandwich was just hot with nothing else, the blue cheese which coul help was absent and the slaw was non descript. The brussel sprouts were amazing and such a great side substitution, although 5 dollars was a steep substitute. Overall i hope this palce grows into something but the sevice has to improve.

This place is not to be missed. It's very small inside but the food is excellent. I had the beet salad and added blackened chicken. Best salad I've ever had. My companion had a burger which he said was good. If ever in this area again, I'm stopping by. DO NOT MISS THIS PLACE.

The place is small, but the food was great. We had the fried pickles and crab bread. Both were very good. The fried pickles can serve 3 people and the sauce that came with it was flavorful. We also order a Smoked Cheddar Burger w/sweet potato fries. The burger was cooked to perfection and the sweet potato fries were some of the best I've had. You don't want to miss this spot. We'll be back on our next trip to Wilmington.

We always try any of the restaurants in diners, drive in and dives. They had some really good things said about it so we stopped in while we were in town. It’s a super tiny establishment, which is fine but for the amount of people (our fault, we came during lunch on a weekday) that was stuffed in the place, it was uncomfortable. After standing in the middle of the floor, we were able to squeeze in between a table to get a seat at the bar. Service was mediocre. The food was, at least in my opinion, not good for the prices. I will say the portions are huge. You’re going to want to share a plate. Service from greet to check was an hour and ten minutes. For us, the experience was not all that great.

My sister and I stopped in for some bites and brews. Just a small and intimate bar, with a super laid back vibe. The food was ANYTHING BUT BAR FOOD. the sweet potato fries are the best thing I've ever had. Fresh crunchy hot and melt in your mouth. The cut fries and onion rings also looked bomb. We also had the parmesan crispy fried Brussels with green goddess dressing. Just wow!!!

The Fork N Cork is right in the middle of the old historic district of Wilmington. There are many shops and other eateries in the area. Seating was very limited but our promised 1/2 hour wait turned out to be 10 minutes as we sat at the bar. The bartenders were very friendly and their service was excellent. Luckily I asked about portion size since I was considering an appetizer but was forewarned that portions are HUGE, and they were. Neither my wife nor I finished our entire entrees as there was an abundance of food served. I had the salmon burger and she had the chicken salad, both of which had great taste and flavor. We probably could have split our entries with another couple and not gone hungry at all. An overall nice place for lunch.

Great little hole-in-the-wall style burger pub. Not a whole lot of seating, so expect to wait some, but once you're in, the burgers are great, the atmosphere friendly.

A variety of different goodies. Makes you want to try them all. Being British I enjoyed the different dishes and suggest you try them too. Too many to mention but will return often

We stopped here for Sunday brunch. I had the Texas brisket biscuit. My son the whole grain avocado sandwich. Both were good. Not exceptional. Didn’t expect the brisket to be cold. Or the bill to be 30.00. Little pricey for a Sunday brunch.

We were excited to try Fork & Cork because it was one of Wilmington’s Triple D destinations and wow, did it surpass expectations! We were just going to have appetizers and a cocktail. I got the Flirtini which is one of the best cocktails I have ever had. We had the Brussels sprouts appetizer and the Wellington bites. Both were insane!! SO good!! Fork & Cork is a true gem and I only wish we could have tried everything on the menu!!

Fork N Cork was recommended by a Family friend who lives in the area. My husband and I were so glad we were able to find a seat and try some of the food. The first time we stopped by it was so crowded, we left to walk around and came back, determined to get a chance to try the food. The recommendation was the Hamburgers. We had tried an appetizer at another local establishment so we were not real hungry. After watching all the plates come out of the kitchen, we decided to split a Hamburger. The Bar tender brought out two plates with the Hamburger cut in half and the fries were split. We were impressed. We thought the Burger was going to come out on one plate and we were going to have to cut it. The portions are plenty. This is a very small restaurant/bar. There are limited tables located outside as well. Staff was extremely friendly. The burger was delicious, the bun was fresh.

My daughter and I was enjoying a girls weekend in Wilmington and wanted a night free of seafood. I saw a picture of a delicious looking hamburger and saw it was from Fork N Cork. We took an Uber and when we walked it the vibe was awesome and eclectic, definitely what I love! The place is small, 5 tables inside and two outside and around 8 at the bar. We didn’t make reservations, our mistake, but within 15 minutes we were seated at the bar. The waitress/bartender was great with suggestions and we ordered The Big Lew and the Shwiss with Poutine. The burgers were HUGE! I was a little hesitant, most thick burgers are a little dense, but this one was tender and juicy! Absolutely delicious!!! The Poutine fries were great too! Justin, the Kitchen Manager came out and poured some whisky and asked how everything was and we told him great. He then told us about brunch and he was going to use the whisky for a whisky caramel sauce for the French Toast. He told us to come back for brunch. We went this morning and my daughter had the French Toast and I had the Corned Beef Hash. Both were absolutely amazing. If I lived in Wilmington I would definitely be a regular. Fork N Cork has personable staff that make sure your experience there is wonderful and they back that up with amazing food!

This little place has character. There’s nothing fancy about it as far as looks go as it stays true to the old downtown feel with the brickwork too. Love it! A few TVs over the bar, a variety of beverages and an “at home” kind of feel. They have some really great dishes including a variety of custom burgers. They are delicious. They have more than burgers so no worries. My burger was called the “Hot Mess” and it was awesome. The fries are great and they even have a custom honey mustard. The prices are comparable to other places like it about $17 per head. I highly recommend this place. It was a pleasant experience.

We have visited on two occasions and both times were fantastic! We had good, friendly service both times. I would recommend the fried pickles, they are the best I've ever had. I don't think you could wrong with any burger you pick but the pimento cheese one was unbelievable. I suggest calling ahead to get a table.

Whenever we arrive Wilmington, this is our first stop. Food is yummy, service good. Restaurant is very small so you might have to wait. Prices are not outrageous.

Worth every minute of the wait! Great food, great service! Burgers are what they are known for and now I know why! Will definitely be back!!

First parking is not free. $1.50 an hour, meter on streets free after 6:30 pm but parking lot near restaurant is $8 after 6:30 pm. The restaurant/bar is small holding 40 people inside with a couple of tables outside. Their hamburgers are out of this world with the best caramelized onions. Their salads are fresh greens with plenty of toppings. Their blue dressing is so good with crumbled blue cheese. You can taste all the ingredients used in their dishes. Shwiss (that is the name of it) burger $12 and the chicken Cobb salad was $15. For what you receive, it is worth the price. Oh and the amount of fries that come with the burger is crazy...a lot! You will not leave hungry. Only downfall was their cleanliness rating...90%. When back in town this is a must to come back to enjoy another meal.

Excellent food & service! We visited on a Saturday for brunch during a girls trip in Wilmington. We walked in around 11:15, after making a quick stop at the Farmers Market a block away. We had the luck of getting seated right away. The $5 bloody Mary’s were delish & worth every penny. I had the brisket biscuit, which was to die for!! Our table also had a burger & fries that was phenomenal. The service was prompt & friendly. Would definitely go back!

Went it expecting an independent twist on better than average bar food based on reviews and ratings. We had below average and our worst meal in Wilmington. We had appetizers rather than the burgers and the only thing we ate that was good were the duck wings. Rattle snake bites, aka Jalapeño poppers with a shrimp, bacon and cheese filling were more like clotted, bland cheese and nothing else. The largest popper was cold in the middle. The confit fries were okay, but nothing I’d order again. Beef Wellington bites with horseradish dipping sauce were overly large tough pieces of meat with breading that fell off while eating it. The cherry reduction sauce was nothing special either. The Macaroni & Cheese special had a Southwestern chicken style and it was a tasteless waste of money.. I don’t know if we came on a bad night for this place, but I pushed to give them more than one star. If you’re in town visiting don’t waste your time in this place.

Bar seats were perfect for this hot day in the Port City. The staff was courteous and efficient. The Wellington bites were perfectly paired with horseradish cream and a cherry Port reduction. The beet salads were HUGE and balanced with Chèvre, pecans, fennel and deliciousness. What a delightful lunch!

Stopped in with two adults and two kids (3&5) While there is no actual kids menu there are some things in the menu that work. You c an also order half sandwiches for around $8 and that is really worth it. I had the Texas brisket sandwich, it was HUGE. Fries were good too. I was really pleased overall with the meal and service.

Moved to Wilmington and having a great time exploring area restaurants, cafes and shops. What a fun city! Decided on the spur of the moment, while walking down Market St (way downtown), to walk in to the Fork and Cork as it was early (5:30ish) in order to avoid the dinner crowd. So glad I did! There’s not a ton of seating and ended up sitting at the bar. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Bar tender allowed me a sample of one of the draft ales before I ordered a full one—nice! Menu was not extensive but had enough choices so that it took me awhile (and watching the waitstaff walk by with other customer’s dishes!) to decide. Burger. Delish! No fries (watching my girlish figure—or what’s left of it!) but side salad with a orange ginger vinaigrette (YUM). Won’t be my last visit. Want to try the Sunday Brunch as I noted it as being one of the 20 best places in Wilmington for a brunch.

Don't expect your typical burger here. You have to visit to see what the chef has planned for the day. Arrive early,

Stopped in for lunch. Friendly staff. Interesting menu. Quality food. Good cocktails. Fair pricing. I am glad I chose to have lunch there. The Kreider burger was really good as were the Brussels sprouts!

Upon a recommendation we decided to try the Fork N Cork. I am glad we did. There was going to be a wait to be seated inside, so we chose to sit outside. 2 of us had the Shwiss Burger - it was gigantic. As the menu stated, there were mounds of caramelized onions and mushrooms not to mention perfectly melted Swiss Cheese. It was delicious! I ordered the onion rings and like the burger, they were huge and perfectly cooked with a very light, crispy batter. With each bite you got batter and onion unlike many onion rings where you end up with a handful of batter because the onion pulls away from the batter.

The food is extremely well thought out and very very tasty. They serve many dishes you will not be able to find anywhere else in town.

This restaurant has very creative dishes all the way through the menu. You will find a lot of stuff on here that you can not find elsewhere. Must be mindful of the space because there are only a few tables. Quite a small place.

This is a very tiny restaurant so the call ahead seating works really well. We sat at the bar for a weeknight dinner. The menu is a lot of fun - many choices, veggie friendly, and creative with lots of flavors. Service was very good and friendly. Portions are huge (be very hungry if you order a burger!) and everything presented beautifully. It was a great choice for a relatively quick and casual meal right downtown. Parking was easy in a lot around the corner.

Their phone-ahead seating worked very well for us on a Saturday night. They get really busy after 6pm, so if you can eat early, it's your best bet. The hostess will put your cell # into their system and text you when your table is ready.

Another great Wilmington restaurant/pub. We’ve been here a couple of times in past year. Awesome Duck Wings and the Monte Cristo sandwich is delish. Great Burgers, too. Huge portions and great craft brew selection.

If you were asked to describe the perfect pub/restaurant, you would want a place that was lively but not noisy, great standard food item prepared well with a touch of avant-garde items, super efficient wait staff with a big touch of hospitality. Add these all together and you have the Fork and Cork. Stopped by the first time this weekend. It was outstanding in every respect. I had a Scottish Egg as an app. I think this dish, while with two ingredients, requires superior kitchen skills. F & C did not disappoint. The sausage was well cooked and the egg had the characteristic jammy center. Had a burger, tasted great and had all the required toppings. My SO had a patty melt with swirl rye that was cooked perfectly. The portions are large. We would have done well splitting a side. Wait staff was knowledgeable about the menu and made great recommendations. They were down right friendly. Great local and craft beers and a great bourbon selection. This was my first visit , but not my last

The tables inside were filled for lunch so we ate on the sidewalk under the awning. The menus is filled with unique, unusual, thoughtful, flavorful options. The presentation was lovely and the food was plentiful and delicious!

Love this little restaurant. It is a on the small side but the food is amazing. Would easily wait to eat here. Had the burger and brisket. They were both outstanding fair price and high quality! Would recommend either. Plus the onion rings were fabulous. The food was hot, fresh, and served quickly!

My husband and I wanted to try The Fork n Kork when in Wilmington for a Valentine's Day weekend away. We are Trip D fans and hoped to try several of his Wilmington stops while we were here. They were packed when we stopped by but luckily we got a seat at the bar. Location extremely convenient to downtown area. Our waitress/bartender Shauna was great. My husband and I both had a cocktail and appetizer. I got the fried pickles (enormous portion) and my husband had the bone marrow appetizer. Both thoroughly enjoyed. I ordered the Kyle Style burger and my husband had the Monte Cristo and they both were delicious. We would definitely eat here again!

Serving sizes are huge! Made me think I was back in Texas. Serving sizes wouldn’t be a problem but food too good to stop eating. Fondant appetizer was outstanding as well the Brussels sprouts and Mac n Cheese. All the sandwiches/ burgers ordered at our table were quite good. Only complaint was French fries could have been crispier/ cooked in fresher oil. Not a larger place so call ahead if in a hurry.

Stopped here for an early dinner, they were about to sit 6 of us on short notice but I really think we just got lucky. The service was quick and food was delicious (don’t have any pics because we ate it so quick). The drinks were okay but not amazing. We started with a round of mimosas then shots, everyone ordered their favorite poison after but no one was impressed with the drinks. We ordered wings, fried pickles and poutine to start. 4 of us had burgers and the other two had chicken or brisket sandwich. I feel the food is worth the price. I would recommend and eat here again.

This was not a big place but the food was so good. I ordered the crab bread and it was to die for. The bread was perfectly toasty on bottom and dip on top. Homemade marinara sauce on side.

We went on Saturday night and had about a 30 minute wait after being told an hour. We were able to walk around and received a text when our seating was available. The food was amazing! The lamb burger was perfectly cooked and the brisket was fantastic. Try the onion rings and you will love them. Well worth the prices and wait!

Foods great, drinks are great! Don’t get here enough but it’s great! Next time I’m in town I’ll be back!

Trendy setting. Sandwich appearance is special...large. Food was very good. City parking on street or garage nearby. A fun place to take friends or visitors.

We stopped by for a late lunch and came because they were on DDD. My husband got the duck burger and I had the pimento burger. The fries were amazing too. The pimento cheese in and of itself was wo good. I could have ate that with just fries (I'm a southern girl and love some pimento!) The staff was friendly and the cook came out and let us try some things he was working on. We will be going back.

Great food great service one of my favorite eating establishments in downtown Wilmington. Only wish this place was bigger. Sometimes no seats available you just have to time it right to get in.

The service was slow, anything that was deep fried was over cooked. I got a burger that had deep fries mac -n- cheese on it. The mac -n- cheese was so over cooked it actually hardened back up and was inedible. We also got the Scotch Egg, again over cooked and inedible There were omissions in menu descriptions, so the entree my son ordered had mushrooms in it that were not mentioned on the menu. I emailed the establishment afterwards and got no response. Overall the place sucked.

The food here is LITERALLY my favorite food ever. Get the Mac N' Cheese and you will NEVER be disappointed. Delicious!!

I ducked into Fork and Cork at an off hour (3:30 p.m.) to get out of the rain and had a tasty lunch at the bar. I ordered one of the specials, buffalo chicken mac and cheese. Served in a crock, it was creamy and the shredded buffalo chicken was a good addition - a rib-sticking dish for a rainy day. The Caesar salad had crispy lettuce, torn to fork size and just the right amount of dressing. My only suggestion would be to re-work the croutons. I found them too big and too hard to get a fork into, but with all that macaroni and cheese, I didn't need them. As a non-drinker, I can't comment on beverages, but the selection of beers and ales looked great.

Went there with great expectations. Unfortunately, I must say, we were disappointed. Ordered the crab toast, which was less than impressive although the Wellington Bites were tasty.

Worth the wait for a table in the smaller restaurant. We ordered nothing nutritious and it was totally worth the calories! I will dream about the fundita - melted skillet of cheese topped with slightly sweet nuts - AMAZING! We also got the fried pickles and the crab bread, which were very good. We sat near at the end of the bar so we could see some amazing things coming out of the kitchen. The Old Fashioned was perfect as well!

This is a favorite of mine in Wilmington. The place is small, but that is okay! The food is high quality and the servers are wonderful. I have never had a bad meal here.
