The Food Junction in Gloucester

This place is a joke. Order half of chicken lemon and herb. Got 8 spicy hot wings instead. 5 chicken strips lemon and herb turned out to be so spicy they weren't enjoyable. Cold wedges and cold garlic bread. Tried to call but no answer. Going to go in tomorrow for a full refund and will never return. Shambles!!!!!!

Do not bother....tried to rip me off by short changing me..food is diabolical...dont even understand the menu...

Don’t know how this place is still running I went In Before there was dead flys and cobwebs everywhere and stunk I ordered anyways and the food was absolutely horrendous this place wants a good clean and the chef needs to liven up this place was really good a couple of years back

Ordered mozzarella sticks and was given chicken nuggets as a substitute. I don't eat meat! Wraps were inedible, none of it was nice at all. Fries had clearly been re-heated multiple times. Phoned them and asked for a refund and was told if have to call back when the owner was in, because they'd 'forget' to call me otherwise. Disgraceful way to treat their customers. Ordered Bueno milkshakes to be given banana ones instead. Tried to make the most of the situation and feed some to my dog. Dog didn't like it😂😂💯👌🏼 says it all. Poor show.

Have ordered from FJ a few times but never had an issue. However after today’s order I will never use them again. Ordered at 7pm, food was ‘on the way’ at 7:45pm, and currently 9:30pm and havent got a thing. Called them 6 times around 9pm before they finally picked up and argued back at me because I was obviously unhappy, and said that the driver hadn’t even picked the order up, despite it being listed out for delivery at 7:45pm. Please do not order from this place.

This place is the worst we ordered a delivery which said it would take 40 mins and hour later I called the shop and they said 15 to 20 min half an hour later I called back and they said another 30 mins by this time my Child was starving he was looking forward to a Saturday night treat night. When it did eventually arrive the order was wrinf they forgotten my double chicken pitta and my boyfriend double burger instead we for single wraps extra hot, so we called them back and they said they would dropped the correct order off...... is the next day and I'm still waiting, they blocked my number last night as I tried all night and they phone was constantly engaged so all we had was chips, also when we called them they told us not to eat the wraps so we didnt time we realised they wasnt coming they was cold and extra hot my boyfriend cant even do mild, as what was they going to do with the wraps sell them to someone else!!!!!! I will never ever order from here again!!!!!

Disgraceful service. They tried to deliver 2 hours early then refused to redeliver or refund. They were horrible and unhelpful on the phone; after refusing to help, they asked my wife to wait a minute then left the phone on a kitchen counter for 30 mins. Sounds to me like the owners need to re-evaluate whether owning a business is for them.

We used to like the peri chicken from here as the portions were adequate and the taste good and we overlooked the ‘trifles’ like the lack of cleanliness inside, but this time I swore never to return. For 1/4 chicken I was given a single smaller wing quarter with supposedly a wing but no breast bit and what a surprise - an extra drumstick bone /no meat on/. Should have taken a picture but I just ran back thinking it’s a mistake..only to be told that it is in fact a chicken quarter/where’s the proof it’s not😏/by a youngster in a bare-bottom dirty pants claiming to come from Cheltenham /maybe different sizing..?/Sorry I didn’t shot the piece but my daughter was hungry

Ordered wings. They were burnt and had very little meat on them. Called them to say about it and they said they were too busy to deal with it and they cook them "crispy". Terrible food, even the wedges were overcooked. Also, the guy on the phone was a waste of space. Here's a picture of some burnt pathetic wings. Enjoy

We also order food from here regularly but was disappointed tonight as we had missing food such a shame as we use food junction alot

Ordered burgers and chips for kids and the burgers where burnt! Complete disappointment! Had to throw it out!

Have used this place twice before with no issues but for some reason this time our burgers where very burnt and the buns they had black grill marks all over them and black burnt lose peaces from there grill in my burger packaging I guess where be looking elsewhere next time, and to tip it off rather then the delivery guy ring our mobile or ring the door bell he beeped his horn at half 9 at night to get our attention pretty rude I find.

I went in to get food on the way to my hotel, only had chips as I was going to be going straight to sleep. Woke up not feeling right whole body shaking and pins and needles, feeling sick and panicking, only thing I had eaten was food from here. When completing my order the guy who served me took my food out the back before handing it over. Never will I eat here again or advise anyone else to, never had a feeling like it when I woke 30mins after falling asleep eating. Something's not right with this place, the men seemed dodgy, shames I can't give zero stars.

Nice food ! was a bit worried as looks a bit of a dive , but wings were moist and a decent burger and fries ....packaged and prepared with care ...no probs 🙂

Great food tonight the burger wraps and onion rings were amazing just needed some onions in but still my fave. driver stuck to covid rules no contact what so ever and fast delivery really enjoyin the food junction milkshakes are lush keep up the good work danny and shar

I got a halloumi wrap with salad and some mayo with chips and it was absolutely amazing, honestly the nicest thing I've ever had from a take away. And the delivery driver was polite and very good with the corona virus rules

Food was bland and 2 hours late. Staff are very rude on the phone.

Called restaurant 30 mins after estimated delivery time, was told driver left 8 minutes ago. STOPPED answering the phone after this. It then arrived a following 35 minutes later. Luke-warm.

Paid for a Greek Salad and got a run of lettuce. Portion of chips missing. Rang to advise Food Junction and was told they would rectify but still waiting 3 hours later. Disappointing as we really enjoy the food from here but will not be ordering again.

Food arrived before the predicted time displayed by just eat. Opened the package and our drinks had not been included called the restaurant and they said they would check with the driver. Opened the food and the burger bun was chared but edible other than that the food was okay. After half an hour attempted to call the restaurant about the drinks and no answer. After multiple calls had to go through just eat to resolve the issue. Only then does it seem yhe restaurant attemptes to resolve the situation and sent their driver with the drinks to us an hour after the initial call

Food said delivered but nothing to my address. Will not use again

i ordered 1x medium bueno milkshake, 1x large bueno milkshake and 1x medium snickers milkshake and i got 3x medium bueno milkshakes.

Food was late and company lord where driver was. Good food however

I ordered twice tonight (separate orders for my family) first order was missing a side. Second order included beans which hadn’t even been heated up! Still stone cold and the wedges were dry and Luke warm like they’d been sat for hours. Not great at all because I usually really enjoy the food and service. The guy on the phone didn’t seem too interested that I was missing an side from the first order and said they’d send extra next time 🙄

Never ordering from here again. No communication from restaurant, just eat couldn't even help me because the restaurant marked my food as delivered. Binned the food due to it being luke warm. You guys can keep your money, I'm so upset. Nearly an hour late when the restaurant is 10 minutes from my house.

Food delivered on time. Small problem was I ordered a half chicken but was given a burger instead. Called up and was sorted out right away. Food and service was good. Will definitely order again

Notes to resteraunt need to be read as I wrote in my note to ring when outside as my buzzer did not work. Delivery driver had to be let in to the block by one of my neighbours. But food was very nice.

order was delayed and then delivered an hour after final time given. i rang resturant and quickly had a call back from delivery driver saying he couldn’t find my house. and i walked up to find him in his car. nowhere near my postcode and i know he didn’t look as i was stood outside waiting. the food order and drink was wrong. how do you mess up a chicken wrap and a milkshake !! please get back to me food junction

Hands down Best peri peri in Gloucester. Delivery on time and amazing hot food loved it.

Cold food, missing items, called and spoke them and made poor excuses as to poor quality, cold food and an hour late!

Food came cold, missing rice and was over an hour late. After calling 4 times to be told the driver broke down, I asked the driver when he eventually arrived if he broke down, "no, just busy"

overall food was really good, but the complete wrong order, although not complaining as I got more than I paid for!

Half an hour later and the food was cold and missing the dips we had paid extra for!! Complete mess all round

Change the oil more often, if I choose the double chicken wrap I expect to be decent size not the same size as a double snickers as thickness wise. What upset me the most was the delivery. They got the order wrong, given me a different drink from another customer bag, and given me a different receipt. After 5 min preparing to eat I was called to come out of the hotel because they needed that receipt for someone else.... Will not order again from this place... really bad.

i’ve been waiting 1 hour for my food when i was told it would be 15 minutes-still not here and i don’t believe it will be delivered. didn’t answer phone either

dispite my order being over an hour late(and slightly cold because of this) the food it’s self was tasty! the gentleman who received three of my calls enquiring about my order was very polite and helpful

If I could give this place 0 stars I would,such a terrible service if you cant make it on time for delivery or 45 mins late, at least they could do is give you a refund I called up to cancel my order after waiting soo long. Then they was happy enough to rob me of my money and not issue me a refund. Soo glad I didint eat from that place after seeing these reviews.

Revived a message to say it was leaving the restaurant an hour later it had arrived after ringing twice and getting told the driver wasn’t answering. Food was cold when arrived and missing items of food.

Turned up an hour late. When I called to chase it up, all they did was apologise. Would have been nice to have some kind of refund. Order was incorrect. Food was cold so had to microwave it. It was nice food, to be fair, but just not service that I think is satisfactory.

Last night I used the takeaway shop wasn't given all of the food and drink I ordered, two workers working on a Saturday night is beyond a joke just so poor all round also as food place the fly zapper ain't on even though there's flies in the place I want a refund for over charging me

Food was 35 mins late cold and a wrap missing!! Called them and was told they don’t know what happened as he knows he had made he wrap, no offer of another one to be delivered just told me to contact just eat for a refund of the missing wrap!!!!

Alongside being late to be delivered meaning it was pretty cold when it arrived, there were also other issues with my order. I had the wrong drink arrive, I was missing a side order and missing an added extra in my main meal.

Order was wrong no apology I had to make my way down to the restaurant to get my refund they was ignoring me.cant believe they're reaction when I turned up and wanted to take a pound from my refund for the missing can of pepsi.never ever again do not use this company the food was also cold .. customer service just dreadful

Food junction are apparently going to contact you to arrange a refund. Our food turned up late and contained no onion rings or halloumi wrap also the veggie wrap was in a burger bun I called and told them about missing items and they said they would send a new wrap but it might take a while two hours passed so I called back and was told by a man that they no longer did the wraps Why let me order and then say I could have one and keep me waiting in total three and a half hours for it then

Just ordered a takeaway everything came completely stone cold, missed some of our food. Phoned up and not willing to rectify there mistakes. Would 100% not recommend.

Food was late, did not update until queried through justeat. Arrived cold as if it had been sitting around for the hour since the original delivery due time. Couple of the burger buns were burned. Hawaiian beef burger sent with no pineapple. Will not be using again.

Received notification to say order was with driver....more than an hour later it arrived! Obviously food was cold. If u can't make delivery times don't set them when order received.

My food never came. They said my driver was on the way, but the food never made it to my house.. I am actually so livid with their poor services. How do they make customers pay and not give them the products they paid for
