A fine chippie with a modern inside. Does a fine selection of food and always has several customers there when I visit. Prices are reasonable and chips are spot on!

Nothing ready to buy as proprietor was next door at the Polash. LARGE fish cooked fresh but was miniscule which was dismissed when I questioned it. Weighed it at home and only just over 3 ounces so with chips at £10 was disgraceful. Serving staff were good and agreed with me but, not wanting to cause a fuss I left, NEVER to return.

Worst fish and chips I have had for a long time. I usually go to Coney Hill, but it was closed.

Unfortunately, we bought 2 large cod and one large chips and the fish was quite small and dry, and the chips seemed like left over from lunchtime, It was not cheap, but it all went in the bin. Shame because the people serving were very friendly and pleasant. Needless to say I will not be going back and I cannot recommend.

Friendly service, and generous portion of chips, but the cod was very bland, and the batter quite heavy.

The Fish was very under cooked and tiny for a large cod. Frankly the fish was ineddible. The Chips were good though.

been going here for about 6mths now as got dissatisfied with our usual place and so glad we switched we are very happy here with such lovely fish and chips.

By far the best chip shop around the area , clean place ,lovely friendly helpful staff, reasonable prices and good deals.

Fish batter is too thick so it's greasy and the chips are horrible because they cram it all together so the chips come out as a big lump of squashed must. Staff are really friendly though especially Lottie

If i could give negative stars i would. Bought fish cake and chips at 6pm... nasty, dark, over cooked chips with lots of little in-edible bits... Seriously disappointing and won't be returning, if their chips are horrible at peak dinner time, what are they like mid afternoon or later in the evening.

I went into the shop and I was attacked by a crazy old lady who ate most of my chips. Very dissapointed in the lady's attitude to my lunch break, if she asked me nicely, I would of given her the crispy ones left at the bottom. I grabbed a few remainders off of the floor and they lost their taste and warmth unfortunatly. Great service and Co-operation from the lady serving me though...

Horrible service, worst food. I ordered mushy peas and got curry sauce, which I didn't realise until I got home. The cod was really bad and not even the batter was good. I would rather drive somewhere else than go back to them.
