A selection of cheap cocktails with a young crowd - this place would be good for students. This spacious venue could accommodate large groups or casual drinks. I didn't see a smoking area but you can pop out the front.

I would highly recommend this place! The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Couldnt believe the value (2 courses for £10) especially for the high quality food. Will definitely be returning soon!

We came here for a Sunday roast and was really happy with the friendly service and the quality of the food. There was also a good selection of beers on offer.

La fuente es una verdadera joya. a pesar de estar lleno debido al fútbol, encontramos una mesa, el personal fue muy atento y la comida era fantástica. Dos cursos para 10 libras! Recomiendo encarecidamente una visita! ! ! !

Todo fue perfecto. Pregunté si había una alternativa vegetariana y me dijeron que podía tener una roasty yorkie en vez del pudding. Todo estaba preparado a la perfección y sabía increíble. Mejor relación calidad-precio para comer en lugar de Leicester!

Went to the font today with a friend for lunch. I had beef burger with bacon and cheese and it was one of the best burgers i have tasted. I will definately will be visiting her more often x

Really disappointing meal. We travelled up to see my step daughter for her birthday. We Googled best places to eat and this came up.. it's defiantly not what it says. I'f u want a cold dinner with runny gravy that's the place to go.. what kind of restaurant don't have mint sauce? Stuffing??!! Well you couldn't call it stuffing... even down to drinks.. diet coke tasted like the cheapest Coke ever and the orange juice was cheap and watered down.. service wasn't the best either.Very disappointed. Would not recommend..

It's close to DMU, which makes it easy for me to pop in for a drink or something to eat. Been here on a number of occasions and always treated well. Their two-4-one cocktails are really good and the bartenders are good at advising you on what to drink when you have no clue! Food is good too, although sometimes they do get things mixed up/misunderstood and other times you have to wait for quite a while, but if that is the case they always try to manage it as well as they possibly can.

Lighting is very minimal and made sitting in the middle of the pub feel like we were sat in the dark. Sunday roast wasn't that great, broccoli was hard, carrots were crunchy, the single slice of meat was rationed, roast potatoes tasted earthy and the only nice thing on the plate was the Yorkshire pudding.

We dropped in for an early Sunday family lunch.....really good value 2 or 3 courses, & all the food was delicious!Nice thick shakes too - most enjoyable.Not too many people there that early (it only opened minutes earlier!), but nice music & friendly staff gave the place a good vibe - recommended!

The service was brisk and friendly, and the food was really homely, considering it cost £12 for 3 generous courses. The beef was lovely and pink, with the proper gravy and homemade yorkies that you'd expect from a restaurant charging much more. The veg was really well cooked (I wasn't a fan of the roasties but I'm really picky and only rate my own and my mum's!) I'd definitely go again, and recommend my friends.

Visited here twice in December for a family and also friends Christmas lunch. Food was great value 3 courses for 12 pounds , don't know where you can eat the quality of food served for that price elsewhere in Leicester. Also options to add more meat for additional cost if you require, however I was fine with their standard portions. Service was good and staff are friendly. Could do with more ale options on the bar, other than that great value Sunday lunch. Would like to visit again to try the standard menu.

Pleasantly surprised by this American dinner. It's metres away from university so it caters for students at least that's how it appears at lunch time. Perhaps the clientele is different in the evening. In any case, it has a good English breakfast menu, while the main menu clearly revolves around the burgers. I had the house salad which you can then add "goodies" to which could be chicken or feta cheese and olives or halloumi cheese and peppers (I assume grilled) as well as other goodies I did take note of. Then you choose the dresding: caesar, honey mustard or sun-dried tomatoes. Salad was lovely! Lively spacious place with window along one side and the bar along the opposite side. Different coloured chairs and bright red bar add to the perkiness of this diner. Table opposite mine had a large group of students who all had wonderful picture perfect burgers!

We wanted to celebrated our son's 14th birthday at The Font and I had a few really nice emails from Jo to inform me of dessert choices for him. When the menu changed she sent me an email to update me which was really thoughtful. The food was really good and tasty. Our group seemed to prefer the Sunday Roast turkey over the beef. Will definitely go again!

Lovely staff, very kind and obliging; the Cocktails are delicious and reasonable priced. Very friendly and relaxing atmosphere.Food is delicious. The font club sandwich is the best club sandwich I've had. A nice touch on the homemade ketchup and mayonnaise.Would recommend to anybody.

We were excited to try The Font for Sunday lunch and booked in for 2pm but the service was very slow. Food was mediocre, nothing special. Soup as a starter was too spicey for both people who chose it. We thought it would be a relatively quick lunch but because of poor service we were there for 2 and a half hours, most of it waiting for food and drink to arrive. Do not visit during busy times! However the value was good, so if you have a lot of time and a little budget, give it a go.

I visited the font with my best friend last week and we both had the grilled jerk chicken burger with homemade mango salsa. It was so good, they also have prosecco on tap so it would be rude not to try. Will be back soon

Well, what can I say...At £12 for a 3 course Sunday lunch in Leicester City Centre, you don't really set your expectations that high - how wrong I was, the old saying 'don't judge a book by its cover' springs to mind.A task specific, simple menu of two starter choices, 3 roast meats and two desserts was presented on plain paper, Obviously a menu set out for ease of operation, to make an odd buck on and to give maximum WOW factor, and by god it delivered!!!Starters, leek and potato soup or panko breaded egg...A few had the soup and a few had the egg, which I had.The soup, garnished with tarragon creme fraiche, sourdough croutons and a sprig of rock chives - received massive thumbs up. The egg, crispy on the outside, and perfectly runny in the middle - tomato relish, watercress and asparagus. Both starters, really well executed.The mains, the table had a mix of meats, the belly pork being the winner for me. Crispy crackling, tender meat and the best gravy I have tasted for a long while, I was literally licking it off the plate afterwards. Fresh vegetables and a Yorkshire pudding, exactly my idea of the ideal Sunday roast!The puddings, Nutella brioche sandwich with caramel custard or limoncello cheesecake. Again, a mix of both which we all tried. Again, it delivered, we devoured the rich Nutella bread and butter which was served with a fresh anglicise - brilliant!The cheesecake, light and fresh.Overall, a huge 5 stars for The Font, great food, relaxed and chilled service in a quirky atmosphere.We will definitely be back and I would highly recommend to anybody that reads this.

Not been here for a long while, but came latish after 5pm Sunday and had a cracking Sunday dinner. The 3 meats were excellent, as was the Yorkshire pudding and the potatoes. I'm really glad we came here as everything was excellent.

The perfect pub for friendly service, nice atmosphere and local musicians! Came here for drinks before going clubbing, probably the best part of the night!

I eat out all the time! And I really enjoyed it here. We all had a Sunday lunch 3 courses, and drinks.I can't fault one thing this place had home cooked food, some of the tastiest iv ate in a while and it was so cheap i was completely shocked at the end when the bill came. The lemon Panna cotta was the best iv ever had!!!!Can't wait for my next visit!

I normally frequent this place just for drinks but I recently tried their food for the first time. I was pleasantly surprised as to how nice it was! I had a chicken burger with sweet chili mayo, (warning the mayo is spicy) and it was really enjoyable! It tasted fresh and the staff were great as always. Can't fault it!

Visiting our daughter and decided to book for Sunday lunch at The Font as the reviews so good. It was a great experience all round. The service was good and the value for money is unbelievable at £12 for 3 courses, you can choose whether you want 1, 2 or 3 courses, we opted for 2 courses and can't fault the food it was great.We will definitely return when we visit again, it was fairly busy but can't understand why the place wasn't heaving, if a pub local to our home area served Sunday lunch of the quality and quantity The Font do at the price they charge it would be standing room only!

Besides one young girl serving behind the bar the rest of the staff were next to useless. Waited by the bar for over 15 minutes to get served. They were quite busy but the two guys didn't have a clue who was next, as a decent bar tender would, and they didn't even bother to ask. People were walking up to the bar and getting served straight away just by virtue of being next to the guy that had just received his change whilst a number of us who had been waiting for ages stood there for ever. The food didn't look great and they were only serving burgers but I'd finally got a drink so couldn't really go anywhere else. I ordered a cheese burger. After 35 minutes I asked the guy bringing out the food if mine was coming. He said he'd check. A further 20 minutes went by and still no food. I can't tell you what the food was like as I walked out! Steer clear is my advise!!

Visited on Sunday 21st Feb for lunch for a friend's birthday - 14 of us. The food was absolutely lovely from the gorgeous roast beef horseradish starter, the home cooked roast to the delightful pudding - a cheesecake - the best I have ever had! I agree with some other reviews that the service, although very good and friendly, was not the fastest, but hey, we weren't in a hurry, so it was fine. Would definitely go back and would recommend to others. A really good experience.

Stopped by for a Sunday light lunch. Not many options for those seeking a light lunch - on a Sunday this place is geared towards three course lunch offering. Service was fair, food reasonable, toilets were great and the coffee (americano) awful.Overall not bad and quirky/unique atmosphere.

I selected this place because of the positive reviews. After booking a table I'm now in a position to review. Yes, the food is lovely, home cooked and very tasty. No, the service was not prompt in fact I'd go as far to say it's painfully slow. Even to the point that once you'd gone to your table, you had to wait for ages just to get a drink. The staff are apologetic and yes, it was very busy. That being said, it is good value and the place although basic (retro) was pleasant to be in.

Wanted to come here for a while after reading a review and seeing how good the food looks on their Facebook page. Definitely wasn't disappointed, probably one of the best roast dinners I have ever had and I have eaten many roasts before. Excellent value for money too and the staff are friendly and polite. Would be coming back again for sure.

Being so close to DMU campus makes this the perfect place to chill out after a long day of Lectures. The staff are always pleasant and the cocktails are of great quality especially for the price (Try the espresso martini, its great!). The interior and everything as a whole is just so charming and can't be sniffed at. An enjoyable student hang out!

The font is well known for its Sunday roast and would highly recommend for a £10. Well priced for students/families, and plenty of food. It's a large space and yet still feels warm and inviting, with mismatched furniture, and plenty of choice in alcoholic beverage a favourite of mine in Leicester.

Cool place. With retro furnishings including sofas and arm chairs to lay back after you're stuffed! It's a regular now for me and my friends on a Sunday. Great place to get a roast and good value. Lovely friendly bar staff. If you haven't been here before you should definitely go and have the 4 meat 3 course Roast.

I like the font a lot. It has a good atmosphere, good drinks, food and friendly staff. Is easily one of Leicester's hidden gems.

Me and a few friends went of which i was first at the bar,didn't get served for about 10 minutes and then one of my female friends tried to push infront and i playfully pushed back until the barman said i wasnt going to be served at all because i pushed in line. Another time one of my friends almost got sent out for "turning a lamp off" which is ridiculous because its a lamp and also he didnt but almost got sent out for it..Worst experience,ruined the night

I visited The Font for my birthday and it was amazing the food was lovely and the staff are great, always helpful and polite. I really like that the food is all cooked fresh and not microwaved it makes the world of difference. I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

We love, love, love The Font's Sunday lunch! Really well cooked food & generous portions for a very reasonable price (£10 for 2 courses, £12 for 3 courses). The staff are friendly & enthusiastic & the place has a nice atmosphere and quirky, modern decor. Can't recommend it highly enough.

Often spend sundays at The Font. You cant beat the sunday roast, the chef has got it spot on. All fresh and home made, you can tell a lot of love goes into the dishes from the chefs! If you are fussy with eating out and fresh good quality ingredients are important to you then you will fall in love with the food here! 3 courses for a tenna is beyond value! Friendly lively staff, comfy and cosy settings, its a great way to spend a sunday arvo!

Have been to the font to eat loads of times, both in the week- the best burger ever, an amazing spring roll special with super tasty salad- and on a Sunday for a fantastic three course roast dinner. The place is pretty cool, interesting original artwork and other cool stuff adorns the walls. The selection of drinks is great, craft beers, nice cocktails and decent prices for town and the staff are pretty chilled and friendly. Definitely a much nicer place to waste a few hours than any of the student chain pubs in the area. Ideal for a working lunch, after work drinks and a bite to eat or a proper dinner, this is a place I will return to again and again!.. Top marks from me, keep it up!....

The Font is the first place where I would go to relax and have a drink.This is a relaxing, warm and inviting atmosphere for family and students alike to lay back and enjoy the excellent, friendly service with some like minded people!!If you're looking somewhere to eat for a Sunday dinner, go no where else but the font!!! I have eaten it all!!! Beef, Turkey and pork, all cooked and roasted on sight, the presentation and flavours are immaculate and always leaves you wanting more. The puddings are enough to leave room for!!! The Sunday menu changes after every month for different starters and puddings.The Font has various night like tart Thursday and of course burger Tuesday!! Always trying and succeeding to compete with the best pubs and restaurants in Leicester. Definitely a home away from home!!!Come and be part of the family!!

The Font is the first choice on my list whether it's breakfast, a burger, fish and chips or a full blown 3 course Sunday roast. The food is consistently fantastic and there's always a wide range of options. Value is great too. The selection of beers and spirits is probably the best in Leicester, there is so much choice you'll be in here for hours!The decor is great, you won't find another place like it and the music is always interesting.The bar regularly holds events from retro gaming to poetry evenings, there's always something going on. They are a huge supporter of local Leicester talent, a vital part of the creative community.But the best thing? The staff, you'll never meet a friendlier and more helpful team. All I can say is go try it for yourself, you won't be disappointed!

The Font is ALWAYS my first port of call when I get off a train in Leicester. The staff are very friendly, good humoured and have a good knowledge of the products they sell. Always a good atmosphere anytime of day, occasional live music, brilliant unique events and a cosy vibe. The beers they have on offer are great! And they have a neat selection of spirits, without cramming the back bar with hundreds of variants The Font simply sells the good stuff and spirits the bar staff would choose to drink. Food at The Font is also brilliant! Amazing selection of burgers both meat and veggie! And I'm still to find a pub that serves a Sunday roast as good as The Font does for the same value for money!! 3 courses all amazing for a tenner!

It's hard to choose from the categories of the type of visit as I have been to the font under all circumstances- work night out, with friends, family birthdays or just flying solo. I truly love the place. The staff are rad and I love seeing them all and the food is amazing! Value for money AND quality, you don't often get the two together. It's my first choice on a night out with anyone as the atmosphere is spot on! And what can I say about burger night, bloody beautiful!?! AWESOME- lest I forget the 3 courses for £10 Sunday roast! You can easily spend a whole day and night at the font and not even realise where the time has gone. For so many months this was very much the case for me, not only because i worked there but even once i left and on my nights off i found myself at the font as its the one place in leicester that provides the best of the best. best food, best staff, best customers, best music. Everything. I may be biased, but i have introduced this place to a lot of people who kept on going back for those very reasons. No matter who you are, they will make you feel like you've been a customer there for years and even now i don't live in leicester, its the first port of call as soon as get off the train. But its all about Sundays. 3 courses for £10. And just because its cheap does not mean its average. It is top notch grub. Tell all your friends about The Font!

Ace place to go chill, staff are down to Earth and treat you like an actual person as opposed to just another customer. Broad variety of beverages and proper tasty food. Classy taste in contemporary music, avoiding chart trash. Hung around for Retro Arcade event later on with an decent DnB DJ set by Dan Blackout. Top Joint.

I have spent many happy afternoons and evenings in The Font. From boozy lunches, cocktail filled nights to cups of tea and reading the paper on a Sunday, waiting for a bostin roast. The Font is done out with original style and flair, no copycat commercial hipster nonsense. It's decor and soundtrack sets the tone for an atmosphere that sticks with you long after leaving. The staff are experts in making you feel at home and are all full of humour and cheer. The Font is an independent local place, championed by a great team. Get some of their top scran and bangin booze down your neck, pronto!

I love this place! Not only is the food great, it's got especially good veggie food, not your average after thought either. One of the best places to get a Sunday roast too. A great place to hang out. Good beer, cocktails and very cool decor.

The food here sets an exemplary high bar to the rest of the City. It is great quality, exceptionally tasty food cooked from scratch with talent and flair, presented beautifully. This food is served with a smile and personality by people who like to work there, and it is extraordinarily good value as well. An experience very hard to find these days anywhere. Try the table-service 3 course roast for £10 on a Sunday and you'll never eat anywhere else, I do nearly every week. And you'll never stop raving about it to your friends, until you can't get a seat! Many places in town with lacklustre, unengaging staff, poor food and high prices pale in comparison to the superb Font. Bravo with supercharged bells on!

I regularly visit The Font with friends for both social drinks and food. In particular, their three course Sunday dinner for ten pounds is unbeatable value and the quality is never less than excellent. In addition, the staff are really friendly and helpful.

The vegetarian nachos are the best I've ever had and I've been veggie my whole life. Modern decor and strong cocktails, that's all you need! Highly recommended.

Haven't been in for a while as I live in maidenhead but whenever I come to leicester I try and get in for food and drinks. Always good service always great drinks never have to wait long and they do a boss chilli on the "dutty nachos" keep it up.

One of the best hang outs in Leicester city. Friendly staff, good food, great music and a fantastic product selection on every level. When I'm in Leicester it's one of the few places that I do go in! Well done for keeping you're styles!

Great place can't believe all reviews are not excellent! I no longer live in Leicester but if I'm over there I go for lunch with family or start my nights out there with friends, I'm hoping the font can expand and open up in Northampton as I would definitely be a regular :) keep up the good service, food and drink it's faultless.

Where do I start - The food is spot on everytime and the portions are great. The Sunday roasts are easily the best in Leicester, I wouldn't go anywhere else and everything is homemade!They usually have great cocktail deals on and a good ale selection, they're always spot on and they have a cool selection on bottled drinks that you can't get elsewhere.The staff are all sound and friendly, they frequently have awesome events on and I can't recommend this place enough!

Whether it's for their bargainiferous Sunday Roasts or for their wide selection of draft beers, the Font is the place to go. Perfect for socialising in the evening with friends or catching up with family during the weekend, the Font has so much going on it's been my choice for our annual Christmas parties since it opened and even my Hen-do! LOVE IT! My mouth salivates just thinking about their Meantime Yakima Red beer...

Having been a regular when The Font first opened up I regret to say that I haven't been able to visit as much recently as I would have liked due to work commitments (bars take up my life, totally!) I always recommended The Font to people that are asking for somewhere to go for a night out or for a bite to eat.Located centrally for students (don't let this put you off!) Its a good bar to visit on a pub crawl or for a full on night out. Enjoy the food, enjoy the booze, enjoy the vibe.

Everything about this place is cool! It looks fantastic, offers great value for money, has an amazing selection of food, the staff are lovely and they have some really awesome nights. The Font is a really cool bar, spacious, great decor with a relaxed vibe.They regularly have acoustic nights, jam nights, spoken word events, beat it poetry night, paint to music all kinds of cool arty stuff which is fun, original and definitely worth checking out. In terms of bringing something new to Leicester The Font leads the way, and has a cool crowd. The foods great too and reasonably priced, ive been with work mates early evening for beer and burgers on a school night, and with family on a Sunday lunchtime where they do an amazing Sunday roast. If you haven't checked The Font out yet you should.

Visited the Font with my family today for a Birthday lunch, it's a really welcoming place with great staff Stefan looked after us at our table and the service he gave was possibly the best I have ever seen, the food was excellent 3 courses for just £10 all of the food was home made and absolutely delicious will definitely be back and would highly recommend this hidden gem!

The location of the Font is easy to get to with parking right outside. A very spacious restaurant with great tables chairs and furniture. Staff very friendly and the service was excellent. Stefan was fantastic, very friendly and couldn't be more attentive to our needs. The food was perfect, all fresh, good variety and presented equivalent to a 5* will definitely be visiting again soon, especially for birthdays etc.

I pride myself on making a pretty immense roast dinner so don't tend to go out for one because I am usually left feeling disappointed. HOWEVER, The Font is not just the average pub roast –it is pretty incredible! Whilst I was a student in Leicester I was a regular here but after graduation and becoming a “grown up” in Liverpool. The Font has not been frequented in about 3 years. Luckily it is the same if not better than it was! I visited on Sunday with a friend, we decided not to have a starter and both opted for beef, it was really tender and served with cauliflower cheese, finely chopped cabbage, the crispiest roasties you can imagine and a huge Yorkshire pudding. You also get your own jug of gravy which is perfect as everybody has their own preference – personally (if you want to know) I like it drowned, except my roasties). We then had pudding, I had the panna cotta and pomegranate jelly, I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the bestest pudding I have encountered in a long time! It just went perfectly after a big roast dinner, it was refreshing, light, zingy and creamy. Yum!! My friend had the apple thingy with custard, in my opinion that was the wrong decision so I didn’t ask her what it was like.

Tuesday nights ( in December 2014) between 6 pm - 9 pm were described as 'burger nights'. So it was definitely a Tuesday when we visited and it was 6.10 pm when I ordered 2 burgers and I was told "We are not taking any more food orders as the kitchen has run out"!If you enjoy cask conditioned real ales also give it a miss as they don't sell those either!

Really one of the best pub Sunday lunches you can get, especially when you consider it's only £10 for three courses! Starter and pudding options tend to be limited, but change regularly and are always delicious. Really relaxed setting in a lovely space with some quirky interior design. We recently came for my birthday and they did a great job, despite our large group number (16 of us) and their small kitchen. They warned us in advance that there may be some delays in getting all food out in one go, due to our group size, but this wasn't an issue. Friendly staff and a great choice of drinks too. Definitely recommend a visit.

The Font. Home to great cocktails, quirky and eclectic events and amazing food. Every time I find myself in Leicester The Font will always be my first pick for food. Whether I'm opting for one of the Sunday Roasts available or one of the gorgeous sandwiches The Font is sure not to disappoint. For such great ambiance and food the location is unsuspecting. It's placed between the Leicester Royal Infirmary and DeMontfort University. The staff are great, laid back and give you that real 'food at home' feel. I would recommend anyone who enjoys good food and appreciates good tipple to visit The Font.There isn't any outside seating but I can reassure you, you won't need a beer garden with features such as the mirror on the ceiling in The Font.

The Font is a really great, relaxed pub! Good range of drinks, I'm a particular fan of the Meantime beers they always have on draught.They also do good food that is incredibly good value! Highly recommend the Sunday lunch and they also do burger nights etc. that look really good! If you're near DMU then you should pop in!

Lovely relaxed atmosphere to enjoy a drink or meal. Been a few times as it's only a couple of streets away from home. Reasonable prices for drinks and great value meals that taste delicious.Special offers in the week. Had a chicken breast burger with homemade chips and a coke for a fiver.

I enjoyed a delicious roast beef meal here. I arrived with my family 5 minutes before food service ended. This was 6 not 7 o'clock as stated on their website, phew just snook in there. Did wonder then what the meal would be like being at the the end of the service. No need for concern it was great, lovely tender beef with very tasty gravy served separately in a gravy boat which is a nice touch. Fresh veg, cabbage, carrots and green beans all perfectly cooked. Lovely roast potatoes and a Yorkshire pudding too, yum. Good service from the staff in an interesting old factory building, very relaxed vibe. Loved it.

£6.50 for a homemade cheese burger & chips oh and the portions are HUUUUGE! Love this place and would eat here again and again and again!

The font provided a fab venue for my 40th birthday party, it was stress free, affordable and very cool. The venue provides it's own unique style- shabby chic meets eclectic. The food was excellent for a large party, the homemade tomato soup and picalilli were particularly good. The font was able to recommend a DJ and help with other added extras I wanted. Jo and the staff were polite and helpful throughout the evening. My beer appreciating friends found the fonts selection really good. All round a great night, would definitely book for another occasion.

We used to visit The Font a on a Friday afternoon after lectures at DMU. The atmosphere has always been great, they have a great selection of drinks and the food always tastes amazing. Plus it's homemade, bonus!Then we tried their 3 for £10 Sunday lunch. Beat Sunday lunch ever. Can't fault this place!

Popped in to The Font for a quick beer after work and ended up staying for hours! Service is friendly and fast, and they have a great selection of drinks. Wasn't going to eat but glanced at the menu, and happened to be in there on their Burger Night. £5 for burger and soft drink is a fair price, and tasted delicious. They clearly pride themselves on the presentation and the authenticity of their food, and it's not something you see so much care taken over in other pubs around the area. The music was chilled and wasn't too loud, all in all a very good experience and I will be going there again!

Tucked away off the beaten track, this great little pub is full of quirky atmosphere, friendly service and fantastic food, the three course Sunday lunch for £10 is superb value with a delicious vegetarian option that is possibly one of the best I've had and certainly the best available in Leicester city. The drink prices are very reasonable with a fine choice of interesting beers and there's always an excellent soundtrack of chilled out tunes, cant think of a better way to spend a Sunday afternoon and I would highly recommend.

Held my birthday/ wedding evening party at The Font & Jo & the staff there couldn't have done more to help gives a fantastic night with no stress in the planning & preparation. A great venue, smashing food, top notch service. Would like another excuse to do it all again

This little pub should really have more reviews!! I only discovered it this year on the recommendation of a work colleague. Its uber close from Leicester royal (just across the road) and its great for an after work drink/meal. The burgers/fish and chips are great here, and the staff really friendly. The place got comfortable seats, and even the odd bash of live music occasionally! Definetely recommend it and more people should visit this venue!

This is the first time I have been to this pub but it was a great experience, we had the three courses for £10 and every single course was amazing great flavours and presented well. Personally I have had worst food in Michelin stared restaurants, this place was great and we will be back
