This is my local which used to be a 3 minute walk from my old house. We moved in January 2021 with another pub more local to us. No contest, we stayed with The Flying Lady as our local with Gill and the team who are just the best and most friendly team you can get. Sunday lunch is served and can be served as a take away. The quality of the food is absolutel amazing and the portions are off the chart, such good value for money. You can get baps on a Satirday afternoon to watch the football with the pub having both Sky and TNT across 4 screens for great views from most angles. The pub caters for events and having had the food from the catering I can attest that Gill serves the best sandwhiches in Crewe and the most amazing spread in general so highly recommended. D&D early in the week, Wednesday night is quiz and I hear its very popular with Karaoke on a Saturday. What I love the most about The Lady is that no matter what day I go in I can have a laugh as there is always someone there to have a casual chat to and a general giggle. On the flip side if I have work to do before heading home from the office, I can set myself up and have a pint with my laptop and I am left alone to get on with it. Great pub for anyones taste.

Called in at the Flying Lady on a Saturday evening. There were children running around unsupervised and even throwing little sponge balls around. One landed on the table and almost knocked the drink over. The noise was horrendous. Not the children's fault, that's what they do when allowed to run riot. Sweets and sticky pop was on the seating. Don't know what's happened here, it used to be ok. Haven't been for a while and definitely won't be hurrying back. Go elsewhere if you want a quiet pint.

We visit this place often and no matter what time we go, the landlady is always so welcoming and the locals are friendly. It’s a lovely, laid back pub that welcomes dogs and the Sunday dinners are amazing!

All I can say about the Flying Lady is its a "PROPER" local pub run by real local people. Sunday roasts are legendary as are the staff that work here. If your ever having a bad day you will always find friendly smiley staff as well as a whole host of comedy locals. Great place to have a drink and a laugh and for those that love a bit of entertainment there is plenty of that too!! Credit to Gill and the team.

i was verbally abused and the landlady asked me not to come in again ,it was because of a favourite customer that spends more money ,, he was abusive and so was the landlady /manegers husband when because i was so upset of my unfair treatment i said that i was contacting the brewety /owner ..but i have failed to find out to whom to email .to who the owner of thispub is and have just been going around corners ..but i will find out as i have alredy messaged several prospects ..so if anyone can help please comment ..i would not advise anyone to make this pub there local unless there very good freinds with the maneger/landladys husband whos a drunk as i found him passed out 1 night .

This was our first meal here and it exceeded our expectations. The service was very good and the quality and quantity of the food was outstanding, the drinks are sensibly priced, a nice bottle if white wine is only £9.98 which is a bargain, the Sunday lunch is only £5.99 which is fantastic value. We shall certainly return.

I have always liked this Pub so thought I would try the curry night thursday. Starters great Madras tasted of Vinegar and much else full of tomatoes not hot and certainly not anything like a Madras. Tikka Masala tasted smokey and again full of Vinegar not anything like a masala, I will not bother again it certainly tasted nothing like any curry I have ever tasted before and not in a good way.

A friendly local pub the young lad with the beard that works there could do with speeding up. Good beer nice reasonably priced food, the only down side is Karioki on a Saturday night what is that all about? Most pubs have that in the week owing to the fact that a lot of people are out week ends anyway, still thats my only moan. Good pub good atmosphere good food.

This place has a vast amount of things for children to play on. However don’t expect to get food quick- they have two cage areas but one is never open and the other has a constant huge queue because the staff take forever! Even if you want drinks you have to queue with the food and last time we queued for 25 minutes! Ridiculous when you have children to supervise and feee!

The most appalling 'meal' and service that I have ever been subjected to. We ordered steak and ale pie and this was brought out to us and placed on our table and described as a pie. However, there was absolutely no pastry, just a bit of gravy in a dish. When I called the waiter back he said 'to be honest, we've ran out of pastry' - are these people for real? To add insult to injury, the manager actually tried to charge us for the pies we never received!!!! Shambolic and not for the first time, but definitely for the last. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME/MONEY!!!!

Average food more like a pub, raw onion in the scotch egg bhaji, bang bang cauliflower poor, fish and chips were tiny and fish dry. So over priced for below average food.
