Wow amazing fish n chips. Better than Wetherspoons. Highly recommend

For us, fish and chips are a must in England. Found everything we needed here. Very good quality, super friendly service. No card payment was possible which surprised us, but we were able to pay in euros and got coins back in euros 👍. Everything perfect.

Amazing food overall however the chicken Doner was something else. Came here after a trip to Paultons and they have a great variety on the menu. It’s cosy and the service by the staff was exceptional. Highly recommended halal chippy.

The Fish Station is the best fish and chip place in Southampton. My partner usually gets the cod and chips while I get the chicken burger. The quality of the food is consistently great, as are the portion sizes. It’s also competitively priced. But do be aware that this is a cash only establishment! The owners/staff are always incredibly warm and welcoming. My partner and I love it here and look forward to coming back many more times. Thank you so much!! Keep doing what you’re doing!

This is my third time coming here with the family and the food is still brilliant. The fish is fresh, the batter is superb, being light and even and the chips are evenly cooked, soft and fluffy on the inside. We had Haddock and Plaice this time, both were delicious 😋😋😋

I was welcomed with a massive smile when I arrived after a busy week of work that made me instantly feel relaxed. The restaurant is clean and I didn't have to wait long. The fish and chips were the best I've tasted for a long time. Not a bad price either. All staff were friendly and wished me a good evening.

A fish & chip snack as you wish. The food was delicious, the staff are very friendly and accommodating and we felt very comfortable here. The prices are also completely reasonable for the large portions - we had one portion as a snack, which we shared. I can only recommend anyone who is in the area to come here. Thank you!

First time in Southampton and leaving on Sunday. Stopped in for a lamb donar and was not disappointed. Friendly staff, delicious food, and large portions. Great value for money. I will be going back for the fish and chips tomorrow.

Got myself a donner meal with a can for £8.10, which is a bargain in my eyes, especially considering how much food they gave me. The box was filled with chips and then filled again with kebab meat. With the box being full at this point, I thought maybe it was no room for salad yet they still managed to fill the box even further with copious amounts of green. Quick service with a smile on their face, cheap prices, large quantities of food, which tasted delicious. What more can you ask for?

Taste is very authentic n I visit here atleast once a month with my husband and daughter. Love everything about the shop.

Staying in Southampton city centre Travelodge overnight, we needed some food. The fish station flashed up as being really close by. Trotted round there and ordered a large cid n chips. It was cooked fresh to our order. Huge piece of cod, crisp golden batter and a generous portion of chips. Also well cooked . I definitely recommend this place to you if your in Southampton city centre.

We were traveling with a group of 13 and really wanted to eat fish and chips and stay close to the harbor! Found this location with very nice service and owners!

Tried the fish and chips as this was the only place open on a Sunday night. The cod was average and so too the chips. The really disappointing thing was the gravy. Basically just an oxo cube in water. Very watery and not at all what you would expect from chip shop gravy.

One of the best fish and chips i’ve had in england

Came across this little gem of a chippy off the High Street. Extremely clean. Staff lovely and very helpful. Portions large. Waited a bit but everything was fresh and delicious. Staff cleaned the tables and chairs with disinfectant after customers left. Would definitely use it again and highly recommend it.

We were recommended this restaurant by our hotel who told us that they have the best fish and chips in Southampton. They were not wrong and our meal was amazing. I even had the curry sauce for my chips...yummy. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly and informative.

Came in for a late dinner after a busy day of exploring Southampton. Ordered shawarmas and cod for dinner that really satisfied our family! Fish was served hot and fresh, tasted great and the batter was fantastic too. It got even better with one of the better shawarmas we’ve had before! The hot sauce had a great kick, the toppings were well balanced, sauce gave it a nice flavour meat was nicely charred and seasoned. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a tasty meal at a great value.

Classic fish & chips shop - very authentic and damn cool and very friendly guys. I would describe the food as classic, of course you have to like thick fries and really greasy breading ;) but all in all really tasty and cool!

I had a large haddock this time, my daughter chick nuggets and my wife half a chicken. All were delicious, particularly my haddock which was freshly cooked with a light batter. My fish was so good that my daughter kept asking for some as in her words, it was 'delicious'

The food was fresh & tasty although they only take cash, so come prepared.

Table was smelling, we said politely to him that it was smelling. But the owner started behaving rudely and shouted at us, instead of cleaning or accepting the mistake. I am shocked to say that they don't have any respect for their customers.

Best place since 8 years it has kept its standards, I just love the Doner kebab and nuggets here . The owner is very friendly and there is positive vibe when you dine . The portion size is quite good and the choice with sauce is the icing on the cake . Ship crew and people who visit here must try this place .

We were super hungry and fancied fish and chips, luckily this place is open all day. The food is amazing, and the prices are what you expect to pay (a lot of fish and chip shops now are a premium!). Great chips, very fresh fish and delicious curry sauce. We ordered a large cod and chips and this was fine for 2 people, the chips could have fed 3! Very friendly in there, and lots of seating if you need to sit in. Only takes cash, I didn’t have any so I ordered through just eat to pay online, and the lovely gentleman started cooking my food before I’d even downloaded the app so I didn’t have to wait. 5 stars+, will definitely be going back!

Always friendly and the food is prepared or cooked fresh, apart from items like sausages, battered sausages and a few other options. The fish and chips is most definitely worth the 8 minute wait. I've only given 4 for food as I haven't tried everything on the extensive menu.

So this place serves up the best quality Fish & Chips in Southampton- Not only fish & chips but also Burgers/Kebabs etc Well I can never decide what to order as everything is amazing.. On this occasion I ordered Sausage/Chips/Curry Sauce.. & yep it was so good/ The chips big & chunky & the Curry sauce just perfect (I normally order kebab meat on chips & highly recommend) Wish this place was nearer to Home as I think I would be in here everyday.. The food is excellent. The people - both the staff and the customers - are lovely. In fact, we were short of a couple of £, and every customer in the shop offered to pay for us. The repeat cistomers here are a testimony to the quality and service at this shop. This is the ONLY fish outlet you need to, must, go to in Southampton. They also serve burgers, pies and burgers.
