The chicken breast and pork loin is soooo delicious, and the vibe of the restaurant is gorgeous! I will come back!!!

The service was amazing, but the food was a bit hit and miss. We enjoyed the delicious hashbrowns with mushrooms but the chicken soup was disappointing and overpriced with not a single piece of chicken in it. I think that the menu could be improved for clarity with better descriptions of dishes and some pictures.

Food was good, but extremely overpriced. I had the tortillas as an appetizer. What came next were tacos, not tortillas. The main course was the Russian Pierogy. They were really tasty and seemed to have been homemade.

We visited this restaurant just before setting off on our cruise during our vacation in July, and it was a fantastic experience. The taste of the dishes was excellent, and the service was delightful, thanks to Beata. We will definitely return here in the future, I guess even before our next cruise :-)

Had an amazing meal at the Shire restaurant. Staffs were lovely and the atmosphere was very pleasant for a nice meal. The food (dumplings and breaded chicken breast etc.) was great, everything was good even the sides.

The staff are extremely friendly, with the hostess being possibly the nicest woman in the world. The food was amazing, the decor was great and we loved the homely welcoming atmosphere. A great first foray into Polish food.

I had very high expectations after reading all the reviews. It was such a great experience and I'm glad we decided to go there for such an amazing food. The restaurant is very nice, it has such a great atmosphere. We were greeted by a very friendly staff. Food was amazing, it was also presented very well. It was so good and the portions were so big. They offered a shot of Baileys after we paid the bill and we left very happy. We will definitely return. Thank you!

In my opinion, there is only one girl in the room who knows her stuff and knows what she is doing. The rest, unfortunately, should learn from her. The kitchen is also different. Sometimes it's tasty and sometimes it's not 🤷

I was there for the first time and I asked the lady about cooked dishes such as cabbage rolls, meatballs, soups. The lady was very rude... she was busy punching something at the cash register and she replied that she would have to finish soon because she had to finish here. Later I found out that there were no such dishes. She didn't give me the card. Luckily, there were soups, I took two tomato soups, just pasta, which was tasteless to me. The music was playing so loudly, like at a disco, not a restaurant, I'm sorry, I'm shocked.

Everything is delicious and plenty of it, we highly recommend it, tasty food and friendly service.

A good place in the quiet center of Southampton with a homely atmosphere and non-intrusive music. The restaurant is not big, only 11-12 tables. On Sunday almost all tables are occupied. The service is quite fast for a full restaurant, they politely approached us and said that there are a lot of people today, we haven’t forgotten about you (although we didn’t seem to be waiting long), you’ll just have to wait a little - it’s nice :) smiling and friendly waitresses. There is access to the back yard for those who smoke. Due to the long waiting time (about 40 minutes from the moment of ordering food), they brought a compliment in the form of a snack - bread, sausages, cucumbers and vegetable salad - delicious 👍 The dishes are big, you can’t even finish them and they are delicious👍👍👍 I recommend

Super!!! Portions are huge!!! And you can tell everything is made to order, everything was super fresh, home made delicious good quality food! Great service, and free bread and valets which is so rare that places give something for free to you! A true gem in Southampton. I am upset we never tried it before, we’ve been walking by for 4 years and as from the outside it looks a bit strange we thought it’s not good, how wrong we were!!! Amazing place! I had chicken Kiev (different name in the menu , something on V) and my partner had chicken mushroom cheese schnitzel!

Very tasty regional polish food served in generous portions! A great reminder of true taste and smell of home cooking, aromatic food that brings memories of our childhood. Even those not familiar with polish cuisine will have plenty of option to eat hearty and warning food as obviously both the menu and staff are bilingual. In addition to daily deals, there are several gems which the waitress can tell you more about. Please remember; those are rather large portions even for hungry poles, so make sure you come with completely empty stomach to enjoy their menu. The place itself is extremely tidy and client oriented which manifest itself in such practical solution like a handy baby changer in the toilet which o would never expect. It's clear that the team go the extra mile and these 5 stars are well earned! Try them and you won't be disappointed.

Hello, today my boyfriend and I ordered takeaway food. I wouldn't write this comment, but this is the second time it has happened to me. The staff welcomed us nicely when placing the order, I clearly stated that there should be no parsley or dill in the dish. We ordered Switzerland 3 times, 1 with potatoes, 2 with fries and salads, plus trout and dumplings with strawberries. The waitress wrote down the order and noted that there should be no parsley or dill. So I don't know what kind of communication they have there, I suspect it's zero. When I opened everything in the house, I thought my blood would boil as I wrote politely. Everything was sprinkled with parsley. If I lived closer, I would give this food away. It was the second and last time I bought something there. The food is nothing great, honestly I cook much better, not to brag. But sometimes you don't have time, so you buy something.

I visited the restaurant today with my boyfriend and I'm satisfied :) the decor is very cozy and the service is also nice. Food very good. I ordered pork shank and to be honest, I was a bit shocked by the quantity I received because it was huge 😅 but tasty. The only thing I can complain about is the fact that the food was not served at once, i.e. I had to wait for my meal while my partner was already eating the trout. As a farewell gift, we received a glass of a mad dog, in the old Polish way, so it was also very nice. Overall, I recommend this place 🙃

OMG the food!! As a Brit is never really thought much about Polish cuisine tbh, but this place is amazing. All fresh homecooked food, and super reasonable pricing with huge portions. Would HIGHLY recommend. If you're not sure what type of food to expect, it's mostly simpler fair e.g meat with potatoes and salads etc, a friend had a vegetarian mushroom dish though that looked epic

Very nice environment, excellent polish food, really polite staff Only thing is they have to make the store sign of the restaurant more intense or with different colours-i don't know- because you can easily pass the restaurant without seeing it and it's a pity!!

I ordered pork chop with potatoes. The cutlet is dry. Potatoes reheated in the microwave, cold, probably from yesterday. The bread we were served with lard and cold meats was the worst I've ever eaten. Either the ladies who work in the kitchen have no idea about cooking, or they don't feel like it, or the owner saves money on everything. I don't know what the reason is. In any case, everything there is of poor quality.

We just left, service 5/5 100%😀 Ladies smiling, interested in customers. An appetizer before the main courses and at the end a glass for the road in Polish 😉 I recommend it sincerely and warmly. We will definitely come back there 😀🥰

For me, the restaurant is poor, instead of the boss appointing a dedicated waitress for larger events, two bartenders serve everything, the food is delivered in installments and cold, I do not recommend large events
