Sauce in Southampton

We were pleasantly surprised by the place we came across by accident during the trip. Nice service and delicious food. We hope to come back here.

Best pizza and burgers I’ve had in Southampton thus far, excluding fine dining. When I want a quick bite, this is the place I keep going back to. The service has always been perfect. They have never gotten my items wrong or not given me something I ordered or asked for. Hands down the best place to get pizza and burgers.

One of the BEST kebabs I’ve ever had!!! The lamb was amazing and so flavourful, the homemade bread delicious and the salad gorgeous!! And the staff were really lovely!! Definitely be coming back!!

The best kebab I've ever had, generous, great value and the best tasting doner meat. Salad was fresh and the bread was light and crispy. Chips were also on point! Next time I'm in Southampton, I'll be returning, it was perfect.

I love the food there.Everything tastes amazing.The only downfall for me is the setting of the restaurant (toilet and the image of the toilet ).

Excellent food and great service. Reserved a table for 10 of us here yesterday, and extras came with us meaning there were 14 of us. The staff went out of their way to add to the 10 person table already set up, and couldn't be more friendly or helpful throughout. Everyone agreed the food was great; generous portions of good quality tasty food at reasonable prices. Yes it's cash only (as others have mentioned in other reviews) but I don't see this as a problem, there's a cash point nearby if needed. We'll definitely be returning here in the future to try other items off the menu, as there are plenty of options! Thank you again for a great experience.

Very tasty ! The portions are big ! Really recommend. Ordered a gourmet kebab and all the ingredients tasted great. You can only pay by cash but there is a cash machine 100m away

Definitely a good choice when you want to explore something different but of good quality. Everything here is delicious. It's a cash only business but there's an ATM at the fuel station. My favourite is the chicken wrap.... Make it a double! Cheers guys

Najlepsze co może człowieka spotkać. Warto jechać nawet 45 min drogi by zjeść w tej restauracji. Bardzo przyjazna obsługa. I Szacuneczek do ukochanej gotóweczki( jak to pani określiła.) :) Obsługa jak zawsze na najwyższym poziomie i ten smak który za przeproszeniem rozpi....dala podniebienie. Na prawdę w tych czasach znaleźć w Angli miejsce z taką ilością smaku to graniczy z cudem. A tu mamy pysznie tanio wesoło i bardzo klimatycznie restauracja w stylu industrial robi wrażenie. Pozdrawiam i na pewno wrócimy niedługo spowrotem.

It's great service because they gave me food for free because I didn't have cash I only have card but the ATM wasn't working so they gave me it for free!

Sam lokal jest spory i mozna powiedziec ,ze fajny bez wzgledu na to jak to nie brzmi. Obsluga tak slaba i denna, ze brak slow poniewaz dziewczyna bedaca za "lada" to jakby byla tam za kare. Jedzenie zwlaszcza kebab slaby to malo powiedziane i to pod kazdym wzgledem ,smak ,ilosc rowniez dodatki nazywane suròwkami . Masakra malo powiedziane , Nie polecilbym nawet wrogowi tego jedzenia wiec mozecie Sobie wyobrazic jak jest slabe . Platnosc oczywiscie tylko gotowka wrrrrr. Troche przykro ,ale .......

Really great pizza (white shrooms). The one issue is that they only take cash payments. There is a cash machine nearby, but I don't really think there's an excuse not to accept card these days.

Went in for takeaway at 22:10 as the site says it closes at 23:00, we’re told we could only have chips or garlic bread. Garlic bread was like a wooden board, supermarket purchased burnt and charged £5

Friendly/helpful staff, delicious food, generous portions, quick service. Perfect for couples or families, even for a business meeting. The plase has a really good vibe. The only minor disappointment the cash only. Highly recommended for anyone ;)

I came across this establishment a few weeks ago as I was walking towards Oxford Street. When I placed my order I was immediately informed that it was "cash only" and the staff would not accept my debit card. I was annoyed but didn't make a fuss and I think the staff thought that I would not reappear. I went to the cashpoint at the nearby garage and returned back to the establishment and made my order. The food was very nice but would I return, probably not. Why, because any establishment excepting "cash only" instantly draws a red flag in my opinion. So many thoughts were going through my mind but really "cash only"! What the heck is really going on at SAUCE kebab & pizza 🤔

Really great independent Polish fast food. Tasty kebabs and burgers, Polish bruschetta. Fresh ingredients. Decent value. Cheap beer. You will come back, I did.

Really impressed and reccomend a visit here. We went as a couple and had Magarita pizza, polish mix zapiekanki, halloumi fries, chips, onion rings and 2 drinks for only £34. The pizza was amazing, the zapiekanki was massive and really tasty and the halloumi fries was a massive portion. We struggled to finish it all. The service was great they had a huge selection of drinks and sauces, it was nice sat outside. We will be returning soon.

The food tasted absolutely amazing. I would for sure recommend either chicken kebab, saucy salad and any pizza. The staff are very lovely, there is a customer toilet and everything is kept nice and clean. The only fault I find with this place is that they don't take card payments, which in now days I find peculiar and very inconvenient, so you'll have to withdraw money if going there. Luckily there's a free atm at the petrol station. Can't wait to eat there again though!

One of the best, if not the best in Southampton

I have visited this restaurant today and its absolutely brilliant. Zapiekanka 3 different types,all absolutely stunning and huge.Bread nice and soft,not like in other shops.Kebabs huuuge and full of flavours. Overall portions are massive,food is great and prices are really good. We'll done.

Had an enjoyable meal here, my first ever Zapiekanka which was great, excellent value for money for the XXL Kebab was nice, really good bread, salad and sauces, kebab meat was a little bit cold though. Polish lager on tap was good too. Would definitely return to try more of the menu

Fantastic food, simple but generous pizza toppings on a long baguette like bread There was plenty of families and couples in there as well clearly a good local spot

Edit : even if you eat your kebab with chips, order a side of bread they make because it's amazing as well 🤤🤤🤤 Everything was fresh and tasty, very big portions. Staff was incredibly nice, place was clean. :) I highly recommend this place x

Firstly, I love that its cash only, far too many places going cashless so well done. Popped in for a burger but they had ran out. I went for the pizza instead and it was a great choice. Fresh and very tasty. The place is lovely and clean and the lad serving is friendly and good

Their Kebabs are delicious and never had such a great one before. We didn't like the pizza though. We will surely come back here to try more kebabs.

I have had a kebab and a burger and both times, the food was great. The staff are really friendly and the atmosphere is great. My girlfriend is vegetarian and they have so many options for her. They have falafel and halloumi cheese. Speaking to family who aren’t from Southampton, they say there is a lot of selection compared to other establishments, so I will take them there for sure!

Great food any plenty of it for the price. Garlic mushroom pizza was amazing and my husband took two days to eat his xl kebab!

We took a bit of gamble on this place as we're were stopping in a hotel down the road but it came up trumps, lovely well cooked pizza with real fresh ingredients and a pair of lovely kebabs all rustled up in 15 min. Polite service, lovely food... highly recommended.

Now it's not as good as Li's fish place in Derby however these guys cook up a great kebab. Prefer lamb to the chicken, salad is plentyful, decent price, good portions. Best kebab place in Southampton so far.

The best Kebab house going, ive been singing the praise ofbthis place since it opened. It moved the bar for my keban expectations. I even left my phone there by mistake last time and they contacted my friend to get it returned. Great food, great service.

My new favourite kebab place in Southampton. They make their own bread, which is a huge plus... Nice freshly baked bread, well cooked dinner, very tasty sauce. I am not a great fan of salads, but the crispy onions are a really nice touch

The mixed doner wrap with garlic sauce is taste bud heaven. It's a bit more expensive than normal but much better quality than normal. Big portion, nice smiles from staff. Highly recommended.

Excellent value for money. Best donor kebabs in Southampton. I have thoroughly enjoyed their food since 2019, very friendly staff, good food, good beer and enjoy the outdoor seating in summer and the indoor seating is very comfortable too.

I was not full of beer when I tried this. I thought German donner was king. I was wrong. Absolutely superb kebab. Very large portion, meat was delicious, veggies were fresh. I have had many a kebab in my life and this has to be my all time favourite.

We had a great experience here. They don’t take credit cards so come with cash. We are from the US and the young lady was very helpful when explaining choices. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a great meal at a great price. Some other restaurants in the area with a similar menu were much more expensive. Glad we stopped here.

Best burgers I ve ever had in my life, better than Gordon Ramsay burger or any other burger out there, I love spice so the el burgero was great and was cooked to perfection and the rocket man was cooked to better than perfection and had the best ingredients in it including pink sauce

WOW... Oh WOW!!! Just picked up 3 x 12 Pizzas for our campervan evening meal in Southampton. Absolutely 💯 spot on! Fresh pizza dough and very tasty toppings. I had the 'Meat Feast' which was topped with kebab chicken & juicy pieces of burger amongst other bits & bobs as expected - definitely one of the best (if not THE best) pizza I've ever had. We also had the Hawian and a BBQ which were both enjoyed as much as my meat feast. Definitely reccomend 10/10 Thank you too for the speedy & friendly service by the staff. I'll be back next time were passing through.

Please be honest ……. When we phoned to see where our order was we were informed it was 40 minutes away after waiting an hour already . Maybe pay delivery people more or employ more so you can fulfill your promise of delivery

Ohh their kitchen kebabs are to die for and zapiekanka is just like the one I had as a child! Would take off a star for the fact that its cash only but that would wrongly reflect on how amazing the food and staff is.
