The fish and chip company in Bromley

The shop has all the same phone numbers and is identical inside, but the quality of both the fish and the chips has plummeted. It was brilliant but now the chips are greasy and not as crisp, while the batter on the fish gives you indigestion. Previously the best in SE London now not worth having. I will not be using them again.

Just had the best fish and chips I’ve ever had tonight. Fish cooked perfect. Crispy batter with juicy white cod inside. Chips crispy as well. This is how fish and chips should be. Well done the fish and chip company. And I hardly ever leave revues but when something is that good it deserves one.

This family run fish and chip restaurant / take away, is the best we have ever come across. The fish has a crispy batter that isn’t soggy. Perfect fish and chips every time. We collect as opposed to having them delivered. Large cod and chips all the way! A winner!! Updated 22 January 21. Still the best. The staff and food are supreme. Great effort team 🙏

This is the best fish and chip shop around. My family eat from here once or twice a week. Food is always fresh and the chips are to die for!! Staff are great and very friendly. I would highly recommend that people try this place once, then I guarantee you will be back again and again. I had the chicken burger tonight.....OMG!!!! A.Maz.Ing!!!! My only regret is not trying it sooner.

I ordered 2 x mixed platter via the uber eat on a Friday night after coming back from work. The food was an absolute disaster. Chips were oily and soggy. No taste at all. Hardly any calamary. The fish was just eatable. Had a fight with my wife for ordering such a horrible food.

Got calamari from here once, opened it up when I got home and it was about 8 pieces the size of shrivelled up hair bands. Think those tiny multicoloured rubber bands you use to do kids hair. I actually thought it was a joke for a minute, thought the actual calamari I just paid £7 for was still in the bag. Nope. I still laugh about it every now and then when I think about how thoroughly I was ripped off.

Beautiful freshly cooked cod!! So white, fluffy and delicious. Chips were very average though. I would try again though incase it was a blip!

First time using this place via just eat disgusting, food cold and items missing but getting no help from either, phone constantly engaged and just eat is about as helpful as a chocolate fire guard

Can’t put ‘0’ so I had to put ‘1’. We ordered on JustEat for delivery on a Saturday at 6:30pm. No food still by 7:50pm. We phoned The Fish & Chip Company. Female member of staff said we should cancel the order and re-order. We asked why? Then she said she had found our order and said it was was out for delivery, but then it changed to the ‘very reliable’ delivery driver had just come into the chippy, and as she spoke, he was picking up our order (which she read out to us) off the counter and was taking it out of the shop to deliver to us. By 9:30pm, still nothing arrived. You can say don’t use ‘Just Eat’, but why all the lying to us? No website, you can only order via ‘Just Eat’. No customer service whatsoever. Why the blatant lies to customers?

Very polite staff food was excellent and hot, they forgot my chicken wings but brought them to me very fast with 2 FREE FRIED CHICKEN THIGHS & WEDGES!!! best take away I have had in a long time (highly recommend this if you have the munchies ✌

Really good food at really good prices. Accepts card payments. This is a very nice little fish and chip shop that also does some other fried food and is above the norm for fast food takeaway. It has very friendly staff and is very fast in delivering food. The food was prepared very quickly and was fresh as were the chips. Everything was cooled perfectly and I would eat here again. I would recommend this food establishment. I would rate 4.25 based on the food being deep fried and the establishment being a takeaway but as this is not possible, it has been rounded down to 4. As the saying goes you get what you pay for but this place does this well and in fact somewhat better.

Really great food, never greasy, always crisp and tasty. Towards the higher end of price range, but the sheer quality of the food makes it great value in my opinion. Been there a dozen or so times so far and never once have they let us down. Friendly as well.

Best cod and chips I've every had. Chips not soggy and greasy, same with the cod which had just the correct amount if batter on. Was not one thick chunk of batter. Perfect.

Was the best. Chips were not greasy and soggy, they were firm and perfectly cooked. Same with the cod. Just the correct amount of tasty batter. Not one large thick blob of batter like most chip shops do. Not local for me, but will definitely drive back there next time I want fish and chips. Add to that the very friendly service it's top Mark's from me 👍

Everything cooked to perfection. A really nice fresh chunk of cod. The batter is thin compared to many others but I found that to be an advantage as it compliment the cod and didn’t overwhelm it. It didn’t appear to be over oily to me and my clean plates showed very little residue. Nice happy staff and clean shop.

Am local to here as just moved into area and have eaten takeaway from here a few times - and found the food v v oily and the chips has about a tonne of salt on them... ease off a little please!

Small portions, high price and not poor quality fish. Only went here as usual shop in Farnborough was queuing out door. I know why now and will stick to my usual place in future.

Better than Tom Bell's in Locksbottom and they use fresh not frozen fish I am told. Great home made tartare sauce. A little bit pricey, but worth it as it's friendly and local.

Ever since the management changed this restaurant supplies the best fish and chips in the whole of the Bromley borough. The staff are friendly. The food is amazing and you’ll probably stop a few famous faces if you come here regularly. The place to be for a range of football stars!!

Omg!! Best cod and chips ever! Went here as I was passing by going home from work. Greeted by very friendly and happy staff. Ordered cod and chips to eat in with a rio, curry sauce and a couple of pickled eggs. Food arrived, chips looked amazing! Golden and crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside never had chips like that they were amazing. Cod tasted so fresh bursting with flavour. Normally after a fish and chips you feel bloated and sick. None of that here! Was amazing cannot fault. Will be returning to try out the great choices on their menu. Fish platter sounds good? Very very highly recommend.

Crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside chips! You dont feel greasy after eating it too. All in all, good food and catered well eating in.

Best local fish and chip shop around now under new management! I went for the haddock which was cooked fresh and perfect I havnt looked back since. Seriously recommend this place, you have to try it!
