The Fifield Inn in Windsor and Maidenhead

Very lovely and clean service very good and good

The food was fairly good, but conversation was extremely difficult due to the TV being on at full volume playing football. There were one or two people watching it but the rest of the very busy pub had to shout at the top of their voice to be heard. It is a nice pub with nice staff but it was ruined by the noise level.

A memorable dining experience - for all the right reasons. We were warmly welcomed online when we booked and in person. The service was very efficient and the manager most hospitable. We liked the ambience of the mood lighting and the lively atmosphere. The food was delicious - really tasty. Great speciality pie! Meaty and intensely smokey BBQ wings. Nice to have the option of smaller 'tapas-style' bar dishes as well as the main menu, all reasonably priced. There's a good selection of beers and gins, too. We'd defo recommend this gastro pub!

I went on Sunday and had one of there roast lamb dinner's it was cooked to perfection good atmosphere and very friendly staff.

Went for a Christmas meal with friends and families, around 20 of us including 8 children under 3. Food, service, atmosphere all great, nothing was too much trouble, and very well priced. 100% recommended, will be going back.

We last visited The Fifield Inn around six months ago when visiting family. After a lovely meal last time, we decided to go again as were impressed with their online menus. We're not big foodies but really enjoy simple food cooked well. I had the fish & chips and my husband had the burger. Both meals were beautifully presented and extremely tasty. Twelve of us dined for the festive menu. Superb food all round matched with great service. The roast dinners were exceptional, up with the very best we've had. Other diners sat opposite and adjacent to us, also made very similar comments. Can't wait to come back !!!

What can I say, another cracking Sunday lunch at The Fifield Inn !! Service was attentive and friendly as always. However, the Sunday roast was the star of the show. We couldn't fault it, it was 10/10. Generous slices of beautifully cooked meat, crispy roast potatoes, great cauliflower cheese and a medley of seasonal vegetables. The turkey gravy was incredible. They should sell that gravy as a side line, I'd buy tubs of it !!!!!

1st Time here. My daughter chose for her 21st family meal. Had a fantastic time, the food was superb, live singer was great. The owner and staff were so accommodating. Atmosphere was 5☆

Food was lovely. The servers were great. The locals in the building were so loud, screaming and shouting etc that we struggled to hold a conversation. Young children were also permitted quite late. I might try again but certainly not on a weekend evening.

We dined as a family of four yesterday for Sunday Lunch. The service was spot on as usual. Beautiful Sunday roast's all round with plenty of seasonal veg and lashings of home made gravy. The food and service are consistently high at The Fifield Inn and I would have no hesitation in recommending.

My wife and I dined here last Saturday evening after hearing that their new summer menu had just been released. The owner, David, recommended we try the Pork Belly bites, Harissa Lamb fillet and the garlic & rosemary poussin. The pork belly bites were fantastic, slow cooked overnight for melt in the mouth quality. The harissa lamb was extremely well cooked, nice and pink with punchy, smoky flavour's of harissa coming through. The poussin had a lovely crispy skin, moist meat and lovely hit of garlic and lemon. Service was polite and friendly. Cant wait to go back !!!!

On Saturday The team presented a Spanish themed day. I must say that it was a lovely affair, very relaxing and everyone was enjoying the experience. Food was faultless and genuinely creative. Well done Team Fifield. What's next!

Best burger I have ever eaten, if you know me you jnow I have tried a whole lot of burgers over the years!! Hoestly one of those places you don't want to review as your worried it will get too busy. Lovely staff and really lovely customers, exquisit location and that food.... everything we tried was amazing!!

We visited 16th May 2023 for dinner. The warm scotch egg and pepperoni pizza I had was lovely, My husband had the chicken satay's and the spicy Lamb burger, he also said they were lovely. Good sized portions and the lady who served us was very helpful and attentive. Only downside I would say is the menu needs more main meals offered on it. We will visit again.

Lovely layout, charging the price they do on a Sunday roast is ridiculous. Broccoli is undercooked & Yorkshire was basically like chewing leather. Other than gorgeous layout

Pleasant pub and friendly staff. We were looking forward to Sunday lunch. Great selection of veg, including piping hot cauliflower cheese and very good roast potatoes. Wierdly flat but crispy yorkshire pudding. Everything lovely except the meat. Skinny slices of lamb - looked and tasted like pre-sliced catering pack lamb. Perhaps we'll try the chicken next time.

Went in for pizzas and a few beers - great atmosphere, terrific food and the staff couldn't have been nicer. Apparently they also do a fantastic quiz nite of a Tuesday. I can highly recommend the Fifield Inn.

A canopy and patio heaters are now in place on the decking along with wicker tables and chairs, very comfortable, will be excellent in the cooler evenings. Very nice atmosphere, didn't have food , just drinks. Dog friendly, water stations and dog biscuit jars available. Very impressed 🐾🍻🐕

We went for Sunday lunch , but were disappointed about the lamb. Most of the three small slices were fat. Obviously like a lot of catering establishments they are cutting back. Two lamb roasts two soft drinks , two coffees £50. Come on landlord still some more meat on the plate.

Service was really slow, took ages to take our order, then ages for our meals to arrive. Other customers were coming in getting served right away and their meals were served way before us, maybe because they were friends with owner!!!! Following a family loss just before Christmas 2022, our 15 family members & two dogs, spread throughout Southern England were looking for a place to meet early on Wed 28 December, around 11am for tea/coffee, stay for lunch and leave around 4:30-5:00pm.
